A year later, Michael brought home a son as the new Jackson family member. He loved having three children, and being a single parent was a lot of work without a mother. Not everyone is a "mother," but" you treated the kids like they were your children whenever you were around. Blanket was clinging onto you the most since he loved how your (curls/straight hair) would tickle his cheeks to get him giggling.

He liked you holding him instead of Michael whenever he was fussy. However, you sit him in his bassinet humming a little tune from one of the Disney Classic songs, and he'll stop, or you check up on him to see if he has a stinky diaper or is hungry. Michael couldn't handle three children alone, but he was glad you were there to help him.

"Blanket, it's alright. Abu! Abu!" Michael whispered, soothing the young child in his arm to feed him the milk bottle.

Soon Blanket calmed down a little after he was comfortable to drink the milk bottle. He had to look after the young one while Y/N was making lunch for everyone. Paris offered to help, and Prince watched his dad take care of the baby.

"Lunch is ready!" You chimed.

You held a tray full of healthy snacks for the kids, even a plate for Michael and yourself to sit down at the table.

"Wow! This looks amazing." Michael complimented.

"I help Y/N, daddy!" Paris chimed.

"I can see that. You both did a great job on the food." Said, Michael.

Everyone began to take a bite of food from their plates, and when they were done. You did the dishes and went over to your laptop to do some critical work to catch up on. Since you were still doing your job as a spy to find out who "Mr. Prince" could be located. He seemed to be patient and was waiting for you to make a move.

"Baby," You perked your head to see Michael standing behind you. "I didn't mean to disturb you or anything. Would you like to come go with me to the studio?" He asked as you looked back at your screen to pull up your daily planner.

"I can't go with you to the studio, Michael. Not today." You replied.

"What about my niece's birthday?" He asked.

"I can't go."

"Uh...Janet is coming over and--"

You whip your head around, looking back at him, responding, "Michael, can't you see I am busy? I can't do that stuff right now! I have to work on something important, and when it's done, I will be free whenever you like." You huffed.

Michael remained standing in silence, looking away from you. He didn't mean to upset you.

"But you rarely spend time away from working so much. What could you possibly be busy with on your laptop?" He asked as you let out an audible sigh.

"It's essential, and if I can get it done in time, I won't be stuck on this." You let out a low groan as you leaned back against the chair. "I need peace." You murmured.

"Take a break."

"I can't."

"Y/N, you're overworking yourself too much. Just take a breather and--" You didn't even let him finish his sentence as you shut your laptop down, causing Michael to flinch.

You didn't want to burst out and let it sink inside you as you inhaled.

"I'm going to take a break. I'll be back." You stood up from your seat and left the room, leaving Michael a little concerned.

Michael P.O.V.

I didn't mean to upset Y/N after disturbing her workstation. Y/N's paranoid about her work, and it has not been completed all year. She's been going nuts about it, and I don't know what it could be.

Looking back at her laptop, I decided to look into it. I opened the lid, and the first thing it needed was a login for her password.

ᴘᴀꜱꜱᴡᴏʀᴅ:

Crap! What's the password to her laptop?

I looked at the choices listed below; they had questions to make it easier.

1. Who Is My Best Friend?

I don't know that one. Does Y/N have any friends?

2. First pet?

She LOVES animals—no answer for that one.

3. First Date and where?

I took Y/N to the beach on our first date two years ago. It's at the (Beach name).

I entered the name in, and sure enough, I was in. I looked around to see her stuff, even though I shouldn't have. I was curious to know what kept her busy. There were files of this guy named "Mr. Prince," and I read information about him. She must have been researching about them, and there were like 20 tabs open, and I exited out of them. I saw the icons on the screen, and one caught my eye.

U.C.C. (Folder)

I moved my finger to open the folder, and many things were listed there. People, children, and more than enough to describe as I could feel my heart beating. Looking over my shoulder, I ensured Y/N wasn't around, even though she was probably pissed. My eyes returned to the score and a list of solved and unsolved cases.

That name rang in my mind, and I knew I had heard it from somewhere before. I kept searching, and as I scrolled down, I saw Julian's name in one of the folders. He did many things, and pictures are attached to me them. I can never forget that night at the party.

That's when it hit me all of a sudden. The party...those bad guys that worked for Julian were enemies against the girl I met that night. She was with her partner, fighting against him and those guys to protect the people there and me.

"Y/N is Chanelle. It all makes sense, and she's...a spy." I murmured.

I heard the sound of the door opening, and I shut the laptop immediately to stand up, acting like I was doing something. That was when I saw a figure coming around the corner, and it was my sister Janet.

"Janet..." I spoke up as she looked at me with an annoyed expression.

"Hi, Michael. I was expecting you to open the door for me." She said as she shook her head.

"I'm sorry. I didn't hear the doorbell ring or you knocking at the door." I replied.

"You might need to replace it." She said.

I merely nodded.

"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." She asked.

I nodded to reassure her that she had nothing to worry about. Too much was going on, and it involved Y/N being a spy. I wonder if she works with the police, investigators, or mafia gangs.

"Hey Janet, can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Sure." She said.

"Do you know anything about the U.C.C.?" I asked.

I sat outside, trying to cool off after my small argument with Michael. I shouldn't have overreacted as I did back there, and he's probably upset since he wanted to get me away from work. I'm so close to finding Mr. Prince, and the traces he leaves are like a trap. I'm not going to fall for it.

"Stupid...stupid..." I whispered. I held my hands together while sitting on the chair swing, rocking back and forth.

SLAP!

You let out a small yelp from your father as he glared at your form. You were trembling after just returning home from school and receiving a report that your grades were falling.

"Is this what I send you to school for? To play around and act like a stupid brat without a brain?" He scolded. Your father was quite abusive and most likely serious about your education.

"I-I was...I did my best on the test." You quivered.

"What about the assignments? Are you even paying attention in class?" He growled.

You frowned, looking away from the male as you recalled being bullied by some students. Yet, you were forced to do their homework and give out your things to them if they lost them.

"I-I have turned my assignments in on time." You replied.

"I better see improvement because if I don't see it. You're punished for a long time." He growled.

I trembled at those days and didn't want to remember them. My dad was the worst, and I will never forgive him for his actions. I had to breathe and let it out as I exited the swing to walk back inside. When I entered, I saw Michael and Janet as I entered the room, as their eyes looked back over at me.

"Hi Janet, it's nice to see you over today," I greeted Janet with a smile and hugged her.

"It's nice to see you too! I haven't seen you in a while. Ha, while you?" She asks how my day went, and I nod firmly. I then remembered Michael asking me to do stuff with him when I couldn't take time away from work.

"Mikey, I thought about the stuff you wanted us to do, and I can do them," I said, as he looked up at me, a little surprised about my impulsive behavior, before protesting those offers.

"But you said you had work to do." He said.

"I know. I need to give my brain a break and spend some time away from the screen." I lowered my head and walked up to him to hug the young man. "I'm sorry I yelled at you. Please forgive me." He slowly wraps his arms around my waist to hug back.

"I forgive you." He mumbled.

"Hey Janet, can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Sure." She said.

"Do you know anything about the U.C.C.?" I asked.

Janet tilted her head and blinked, asking, "Why do you want to know about them?" She took a few steps towards me as I went to the computer and showed her.

"I don't know much about their business if you know anything about them. However, their name seemed to be a bit familiar." I arched my eyebrow to show her what was on the screen as she took a moment to analyze it.

Janet was silent as she responded, "That is a secret cooperation building where the spies would work to do important activities involving crimes, scams, murder, and cases that are solved/unsolved." She explained as I bit the bottom of my lip.

"Is that so?" I mumbled.

"Why? What's wrong?" She asked.

I sighed. "I didn't know that she was going to be working as a spy if she had the thought to give away anything to the company about me," I spoke out loud for Janet to hear.

"Who?" She asked.

"It's Y/N. I knew something was up with her lately, involving her absence last year. Whenever she had somewhere to be, she had to leave now and not return for hours." I replied as I showed her the stuff from her laptop that were private things. "She's been working for me only four years and hid her true identity from me."

"Michael, I understand that you might figure she was spying. However, I don't think she would--" I cut her off by looking at her intensely to shut her mouth.

"Are you on her side? Did you know that she was a spy?" I asked.

"No. I didn't know she was until now, Michael." She replied.

"Then, she might be--"

"Michael, she is not that type of person to use you if that's what your thinking. You know it too." She remarked.

"Yeah, but she's been lying to me about the truth. I can't tolerate what she has going on with that other life, and who knows what she may have done." I replied. I felt my blood boiling within me while we discussed this.

Janet inhales, shaking her head as she walks over to shut the laptop down.

"You're going to confront her about it, right?" She asked, looking back at me.

"I may as well," I replied.

I was sad and disappointed that I trusted someone with all my life to offer. I didn't think it would come to this.

"Hear what she has to say, and don't patronize her. She's working on another case, and I don't think this involves you, Michael. Y/N would never use you like that. She loves you." I could feel my stomach churning at the thought of "I love you" hitting me in the gut.

Does she love me? Is she using me?

"M'kay," I replied.

Sooner, Y/N came back and greeted Janet with a warm smile on her face. I stared at her silently, feeling my heart break into pieces. I couldn't look at her the same way that I used to because she was not the one I loved. She explained the truth. Y/N embraced me, telling me she was sorry about the argument and begging for forgiveness.

Of course, I forgave her.

For now...
