On the night of the masquerade party, you went with Toshiki to dress up in a luxury dress and the darn heels.

"Ugh, heels again." You whimpered.

"Quit your whining. Let's get going." Toshiki said as you stiffly took baby steps towards the young masculine male. He placed his hands over his hips, looking at you, and shook his head.

"I can't help that I am not a professional to walk in heels!" You whispered, trying not to yell at Toshiki, only to see him roll his eyes.

"Hold my arm." He held out his arm as you wrapped around it to use your other hand to lift the hem of your red dress.

You walked forward to form a line and waited your turn to enter. When you reached up there, the greeter outside welcomed you two.

"Welcome; Mr. Julian has been expecting you both tonight. Enjoy the party!" Said the greeter.

"Why thank yah!" You felt Toshiki squeeze your hand a little too hard, making it crack.

"Yes, we're grateful to be here," he said as you faked a smile walking inside.

While entering, you took the chance to stomp Toshiki's foot as he grunted. He hopped on one foot as you "hemp" and continued walking further as he followed behind.

"Okay, what's the plan?" You asked.

"I'm going to check around upstairs to see if I can find the computer source and get every data I can find up there. Julian might have other plans, but tonight we can catch him before he could even try to escape." Said Toshiki as you nodded to go along with his plan.

"What about me?" You asked.

"Your job is to act like a young lady and stand in the center of the spot. Don't go anywhere until we meet up again." Said Toshiki as he turned his heel around to make his leave to do his side of the job.

Y/N P.O.V.

I entered the large mansion and was awed by the ballroom packed with so many people. It was like in a Disney film where the princesses chose a dancer to dance in the ballroom. However, there was a slight problem because I saw a familiar face in the crowd.

Michael. Flipping. Jackson.

Oh god, not here! Why does he have to be here!?

Turning around to hide in the corner, I grab my earpiece.

"What's wrong ?" Toshiki asked from the earpiece.

"We've got many more guests entering and leaving the room. Plus, my boyfriend is here, and if he sees me here. I'm toast!" I frantically panicked. I was peering around the corner to see Michael greeting people.

"There is no need to hold back on the mission. Focus! Get to your place, and I'll be down soon." Said Toshiki.

I let out a frustrated huff to see Michael at the masquerade ball. He wasn't the only celebrity there as far as Madonna, Prince, Johnny Depp, Whitney Housten, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and more!

'Okay, you've got to stick to the plan. You can't mess with this. Michael wouldn't recognize you anyway.' I was so deep in thought that I placed my mask over my face to enter the crowd.

I looked around, and standing in the center, people roamed around drinking or eating free samples. As I remained standing and waited for Toshiki, someone tapped my shoulder.

I whip my head around to see my boyfriend. My heart was beating, praying he didn't recognize me and that he would--

"I'm so sorry to disturb you. I need to get to the punch bowl." Said Michael.

"Oh, excuse me!" I stepped aside as he giggled and smiled.

"No trouble at all." He took a step over by the punch bowl to grab a drink. "You remind me of someone I know who acts a little like you." Said Michael, complying about his girlfriend that was hidden under the mask.

"Oh, do I?" I played along as he twirled me around and back into place.

"Certainly. I wanted to bring her here tonight, but she d feel like coming." He replied as he lowered his head a bit. "Yet, I didn't want to forget to bring some sweets. I know her favorites~."

Oh, Michael...

"What's your name?" He asked.

"M-My name?" I asked.

He chuckled, "Yes. Tell me your name."

I bit my lip, thinking of a name for him to know. Looking around, I thought of random words I could think of.

"It's Chanelle," I replied.

"A beautiful name." He stopped dancing as he smiled at and. "Thank you for the dance. Have a nice night Chanelle." He said, turning his heel to look over at the banquet of food.

I smiled as I looked around for Julian to see if he was nearby, as I heard my earpiece going off.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"I'm coming down! " Toshiki replied.

I slowly nodded. While I was looking around the room, I felt someone bump against me.

"Pardon me, madam." A masculine male spoke up as I smelt his cologne, hitting my nose. Turning around, I looked up, and luckily, it was Julian. "I don't mean to harm you, my lady. Are you having a nice time during the party?" He asked with a warm, genuine smile.

"Yes, of course. It's a splendid party you set up, Mr. J," I replied.

Julian laughed as he spoke up, "Please, Julian is fine. It's quite a unique place to bring everyone here together, yeah. I spent months getting this building spick and neat to invite guests to the party. The decor of this room area is made of gold! The floor is waxed, and the food is delicious!"

'He's flattering himself. ' I thought.

"Well, enjoy the party, and if you have any questions, I am around here." Said, Julian.

"Of course. Thank you." I nodded.

Julian turns his heel to leave, and not before long, Toshiki appears, wearing shades and gloves. He whistled over to me as my head whipped around, gesturing to follow him away from the crowd. When I followed him, I was alone as he pulled out a ziplock bag.

"I have the data from hacking into the systems. All we have to do is wait for the signal to crash the party and get Julian into custody." Said Toshiki.

I was about to speak up until Julian said, "Thank you, everyone, for coming to my ball tonight! It is my pleasure to have everyone come to have fun and enjoy the moments that we spared tonight. I even have a special guest to announce tonight." I looked over at Toshiki as he glanced at me.

He leaned over, saying, "Julian has something hidden in his pocket. I saw it on the footage." He whispered.

I firmly nodded.

"I present you our guest for tonight...Michael Jackson!" Julian announced.

My jaw dropped as my whole world stopped when Julian announced Michael's name. I saw Michael coming towards him to hand him the microphone.

"Thank you, it's a pleasure to be here tonight. I want to thank you, Julian, for the invitation and..." Michael thanked Julian and made a speech to everyone in the room.

Toshiki and I turned our heels around and saw stopped to see one of Julian's men grabbing the doors to shut them and lock all of them with a key.

"What now?" I asked in a low tone.

"We're going to have to blend in. Stop Julian to prevent him from pulling out the syringe." Said Toshiki, as my eyes widened to hear them tell me he was holding a syringe. "That stuff he has in that syringe could kill Michael." He turned his heel around to take care of the guys locking the doors while I kept an eye on Julian.

While Michael was speaking through the microphone, he didn't notice Julian digging inside his pocket. I saw the syringe in the slim masculine's hands, grinning down at it. I have to make a move now, or I am too late. As Michael continued his speech almost at the last sentence, Julian pulled out the syringe, ready to jab into his neck without anyone noticing. I dashed through the crowd, did two cartwheels, and flipped into the air to kick Julian out.

Everyone gasped and saw what I did as I landed gracefully on the ground. Julian dropped the syringe that rolled on the other side of the room behind a plant.

"Why you..." Julian grumbled.

"The party is over, Julian," I said, glaring down at him.

"What do you mean? Why'd the fuck did you kick me out of the way?" He demanded.

"It's not always easy to be the criminal, especially..." I walked over to the plant and held the syringe at my fingertips. "...when you're going to kill an innocent human using this substance."

"So, your one of those spy agents Mr. Screw sent, right? I get it." Julian stood on his feet and dusted himself. "So, what now? I'm getting arrested?" He asked.

The whole room was silent, looking at the two of us, and Michael had no words coming out of his mouth.

"Isn't it obvious?" I grimaced.

"Yes. However, I can't get arrested when I still have other things to settle." He grinned as he snapped his fingers to call out for his armored men, carrying guns, and had the red light aiming at me.

"Dammit!" I cursed.

"Oh, game over, I must say." He said.

"It's not game over! Everyone gets out of the building immediately. There is one door open that is an exit!" Toshiki announced as he appeared standing on the chandelier. He hopped down to kick one of the guards to snatch their weapons and hit another guy in the skull to knock him out cold.

I grabbed something out of my purse: sharp blades that Mila lent me to aim at the guns on the second floor on the staircase. The guns wouldn't work, but I had to focus on getting Julian.

"Let's try that again." I grinned.

Julian glared at me as he called out for his men to attack me, and as they ran to me, I punched, kicked, dived, and uppercut them with no hesitation. One had a gun and shot many bullets as I did backflips, ran up the wall and back flipped in the air, and used another weapon of mine to taser him.

Toshiki was handling business by knocking out two guys and hammering another guy.

"Quickly!" I nodded as many people in the room ran around, trying to leave for safety. While I ran after Toshiki to get to Julian, I didn't even notice my mask had fallen off, and someone had picked it up off the ground.

"Julian! You can't keep running!" I shouted.

We entered outside up the rooftop, and sure enough, we heard a helicopter sound behind us. Julian was giving us a mischievous cocky grin on his face.

"Until next time, my little pest!" he cackled.

"Not on my watch." Toshiki ran straight after the helicopter as he leaped off the edge to grab the latter as Julian struggled to hang on. One of the men up in the plane had a sniper and aimed for Toshiki.

I quickly removed one of my heels to aim at his head before I used one of the sharp chips to break his cracked shades, and glass must've gotten into his eye.

"Toshiki! Hang on!" I shouted.

Toshiki wouldn't let Julian get away, and I had to do something else to help him. Julian was trying to kick him off, and I dug into my purse to find my lipstick. I used it as a laser to aim at him. I heard him hiss as he grabbed the latter, hissing in pain. Then, I did again, and Toshiki managed to grab Julian's wrist and toss him back to me. I gave him a stomp and kicked him in the face, and then came the worst when I summoned my staff to poke him around with it. As for Toshiki, he managed to get the helicopter back up here, and the pilot surrendered.

The police soon arrived along with the S.W.A.T. Team to investigate the scene, and luckily no one was harmed. They were all safe, and Julian's goons were arrested too. Toshiki handed over the stuff he found, and they would look at it and have a trial for them in two weeks.

"We did it! The case is over." I chimed.

He nods.

"Yes, we better flee before anyone sees us." Said Toshiki.

I gasped as I noticed that my mask wasn't on my face.

"Crap! My mask!" I yelped.

"Nevermind. Let's get you back to the ranch before Michael notices you're not home." Said Toshiki, and we fled the scene before anything else could happen.

I arrived home looking all torn up and exhausted. Walking back upstairs, I entered the bedroom and showered to change into my pajamas to head to bed. However, a few minutes later, I heard someone enter the room and shake my shoulders.

"Y/N! Wake up!" I heard Michael's voice as I looked at him groggily.

"What is it, Michael?" I asked.

"Look on the news." He said, switching the TV to play ABC News.

Breaking News: Tonight, police and the S.W.A.T. Team invaded Julian Benard's residence, which lately made arrangements for a masquerade ball at his home. Many things happened there, and he brought Michael Jackson to the stand. Two mysterious individuals appeared and stopped Julian to prevent killing the famous pop star that would inject a syringe. Scientists will study the stuff inside of it for tomorrow's news update.

"Isn't that crazy? That mysterious girl I saw at the party saved my life." He said, as his eyes were in awe to see the girl, which was 'you' fighting against the bad guys. "She jumped in and took on the bad guys like a hero and that other guy too."

"That's nice, but let me go back to sleep." You turned to your side to fall asleep as Michael whined.

"You should've been there, Y/N! She would've saved your life too." Said Michael.

"Yeah, I'm sure she would." Just to let you know, you replied in a sleepy tone.
