𝙷𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚢 𝙱𝚒𝚛𝚝𝚑𝚍𝚊𝚢, 𝙴𝚍𝚍𝚒𝚎...? 🎂🤨

"Hey, Y/N... Are we doing the right thing, going to the genetics lab instead of staying at camp? Would that have been safer?" Darius asks from thinking in his head after a few minutes of walking.

You were silent for a bit, then shrug gently. "Hmm, I guess... I mean, where else would we stay? Camp is trashed, so I think you made the right call..."

"...But we are walking on eggshells by going through dinosaur territories on the island." Kenji popped into your convo with a shrug. Darius tilts his head as he thought about it followed by you shaking your head. "Ugh, good point... How are you so calm about this?"

"I told you, if someone gets killed, I'm not to blame, you are. Lea-der-ship..." Kenji grinning from ear to ear.

You roll your eyes again in annoyance, "Hmm, really Kenji? Explain exactly how that's leadership?"

"Yeah, if me or Y/N is leading us the wrong way, the one getting eaten is you..." Darius points out with a frown.

"Not to mention everyone would blame you, not me or Darius. Sure, we're the ones who come up with the plans, but the leader calls the shots and are responsible for everything that happens..." You chime in with a brief smirk hovering her features.

"U-ugh, wait... Are you sure we should be going to the lab? Why are we moving so slowly? C-come on, let's pick up the pace!" Kenji began to move faster in fear while you and Darius exchange a little laugh, despite the annoyance of his so called leadership tactic.

After a couple more minutes of walking, you decided to look behind and do a role call check on everyone. You stop in your tracks from noticing someone missing, "Wait... Guys, where's Ben?"

"Huh, what do you mean? He's right-" Darius looks behind him but stops to check as well, then realizes you were right. Everyone stops to turn around when they heard bushes rustling.

Speak of the devil, it was the pastel blue shirt boy who was missing and was pulling something with him.

"Ben..." Your arms were folded and look at him sadly.

"Hey, guys... How's it hangin'?" The boy chuckles nervously and gets up, standing awkwardly.

"Ben, we know your hiding Bumpy in the bushes." Darius sighs with a shake of his head.

"Pfttt, what? No, it could be anything, the jungle makes all sorts of sounds y'know." Ben points out with a small smile and laugh. Cue the miniature baby dinosaur popping out from the bushes with a light bellow, nuzzling against Ben's leg. "O-oh, Bumpy... How did you get here?"

"Ugh, we don't have time for this. There are dinosaurs eating people out here, and Bumpy can't keep up!" Yaz groans in slight annoyance.

"She can move faster, an Ankylosaurus can run fast. Right, Darius?" Ben asks, however it was almost like the tone in his voice unsure yet hopeful on it being true. Bowman was silent as he thought about it for a moment, "When they're full grown, maybe, but Ben, she's just..."

"Wow! Yeah, total speed demon. Say goodbye, Ben."

Everyone began to walk again, ready to continue their journey to the main park and get off this island. Then heard Pincus scream out, "No! You say hello, because she is coming with us." Ben placing his foot down with a frown, he was deadset serious in bringing Bumpy. You couldn't help but feel bad since a part of you also wanted to bring the baby dinosaur with you guys, but clearly, even if you'd try to chime in. You two would be outnumbered by the rest of your camp friends.

"Ben, you're not thinking clearly, Bumpy is too slow." Brooklyn said with a sigh and sad look.

"Then... Then we'll... Put her in the van!"

"What van?" Sammy asks in confusion from whether or not he was running out of excuses.

"That one!" Pincus points to an opposite direction as everyone turned around to see the said vehicle Ben mentioned.

You all made your way towards the all black vehicle slowly, as Kon spoke up in realization, "It's an ACU transport, short for Asset Containment Unit. Not to brag but I got a tour of their HQ, super cool, hardcore dino-trapping security dudes." Kenji explained with a shrug after he opened the back doors.

"But... Where are they?" Sammy looks around almost hoping to find someone nearby.

A gasp left the blogger's lips. "Is that a tablet!?" She pushed everyone out of the way and hopped on board the truck, her hands already held the small rectangular device.

Gutierrez followed and took a seat, "A walkie-talkie, okay, uhm... What did they tell us... Oh, right channel six. Dave, Roxie, can y'all hear us?" Sammy held the walkie talkie close to her ear for any response, only to receive static and shakes her head gently.

A groan left the pink strawberry haired girl's mouth, "Ugh! Of course, it doesn't have communication enabled because why would it? If I had my phone-"

"ENOUGH ALREADY, THERE ARE BIGGER THINGS GOING ON HERE THAN YOUR PHONE!!" Darius exclaims angrily and waved his arms.

You weren't expecting Darius to snap, but understood where he was coming from. However you also understood Brooklynn's frustration and just wanted to get out of here, but it didn't mean she had to constantly whine about not having her phone. You take the tablet from her and have a look, "Wait, a minute. D, there's a map with little red dots on it."

"Right, they placed a chip in all the dinosaurs to track them on any part of the island. So, this one here is us..." Bowman points to the big red dot on screen.

"Hold up, that's Brachiosaurus Grove here on the map but why are they over there?" Kenji's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he stared at the tablet.

"It might have to do with the fences down, especially considering what we saw with Toro's paddock." Darius suggested with a light shrug, his response made Kon and Pincus shudder.

Suddenly, Bumpy froze for a moment and began to bellow loudly. "Easy, girl..." Ben rubbing her head nervously, "Guys? Something's coming this way."

"Huh, that's weird. There isn't a tracker showing up from whatever is heading this way."

"It's almost like it doesn't have one at all..."

"What kind of dinosaur doesn't have a transponder?"

"I am not in the mood to find out."

"Ben, please keep her quiet!" You whispered, then hopped down quietly and knelt down next to Bumpy's unoccupied side to help calm her down. Ben managed to do so but felt the ground shake a little along with some trees and bushes rustling violently. "Oh, gosh. We gotta go now!"

Everyone buckled into their seats, as you help Ben bring Bumpy on board and close the doors.

"Wait, guys who's going to drive the van?!" Brooklynn asks as she gestures to the drivers seat.

"Uh, does anyone know to drive yet or took lessons?" Darius asks quickly and glanced out the window.

"No, but we drive gyrospheres, right? It can't be that different." Sammy laughs softly.

"Big difference, gyrospheres were controlled with joysticks and have Jimmy Fallon tutorials. I don't even have my learner's permit!"

"But, I do!" Kenji got up and took the wheel, his foot stepping on the gas as the vehicle went forward. You guys kept moving around the truck despite having seatbelts on. Kon was driving like a maniac but did a solid job, plus there was no one else to fill in and drive.

You all drove off a mini cliff and landed roughly as the vehicle came to a stop. Everyone was breathing heavily as Kenji looked back at you all, "At least, we lost it..."

"Yeah, but now where do we go?" Brooklyn asks with a sigh and leant back against her seat. There was a moment of silence as Kon looked up and a smirk appeared on his lips, "How about that genetics lab?"

Huh, kind of a coincidence that we ended up here...

Once you guys got inside, it was dark, the lights were off but the power is still running. You walk to the doors of the lab as they open and find a cake with candles lit on it?

What the...

Suddenly, a horrified scientist's face pops up which caused you all to scream as he let out one in return. Flashing a lamp at you guys in alarm, but he lowers it when he takes in the view. "N-not dinosaurs, you're not dinosaurs... Y-you're kids... Ugh, this is the worst birthday ever..."

Darius ate a bit of his cake slice, "Again, we are so happy we found you, things have been crazy! There's a giant camouflaged dinosaur out there along with regular dinosaurs roaming around. We were hoping to find someone-"

"You're sure you closed the door behind you, right?" Eddie asks warily, his eyes glued on the doors and vents.

"Uh... I think so." Bowman nodded simply.

"You think, or you know?" The adult male raises an eyebrow before flinching due to a sound. Kenji let out burp and clears his throat out of slight embarrassment, "Sorry... Did you want it back?"

"You know what? Doesn't matter... The dinosaurs got out and no one bothered to tell me, they just ran. So knock yourselves out."

Brooklynn tried using the landline on one of the counters, only to have no sound. "Ugh, there's no dial tone!"

"Yeah, the landlines are down. So is the radio and cell phone service keeps cutting out." The blonde employee informed her with a sigh.

"But the park obviously has a plan, so... What do we do?"

"And you're asking me?" Eddie scoffs with an eyebrow up and continues, "Oh, you don't get it... We're doomed, no one is coming to help!"

Kenji was confused, eyebrows furrowed. "What about Dr. Wu?-" which earned a bitter laugh from Eddie.

"Wu? Who do you think is to blame? He got greedy and instead of dinosaurs, he made monsters! Masrani, Dearing, they're all clueless about what's really going on here... And after everything I did for the other guys-"

You stared at him both in confusion yet curiosity, "Others guys, what other-" Eddie cut you off, "It doesn't matter anymore, does it? Jurassic World isn't a park, it's a powder keg and it is beginning to detonate all around us! We're all going down, end of story!"

"No, you have to know what to do. You're an adult!" Sammy said with slight annoyance and worry at the state of this grown man.

"Don't look at me, I was just hiding until you all barged in here." The Jurassic World worker held his arms up in defense for his behavior.

Darius shakes his head, "But we drove all the way here to-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait, you guys have a vehicle?" He walked over with wide eyes and his hands gripped tightly onto the boy's shoulders. Which earned him a light nod from Darius, the terrified employee made a run for it and ran through the doors.

"Oh no, guys, I think I left the keys in the van..." Kenji realized after he checked his pockets, then remembered and all of you followed suite to try and catch the male employee, Yasmina was ahead and was the closest to Eddie. Then just as she was about to get him, Bumpy came out and swung her tail which caused Fadoula to fall down and watch as the man reached the car.

Yaz slamming her fist to the ground with a groan, "Ugh, Ben, we told you bringing Bumpy was a bad idea. She's not only slowing us down but attracting it to us. I could've-" before she'd continue, she was interrupted by the Indomimus coming out of nowhere and knocking the van over, shocking everyone as Eddie was eaten alive before he'd escape.

"Then, you would've died. She saved your life by stopping you from getting to the van!" Pincus pointed out in defense for his animal friend, giving Bumpy a light pat to the head.

"Why can't you just let her go?!" Yaz screamed in frustration.

"Because I won't abandon her like we were!" Ben exclaimed angrily, that sentence alone made her and the rest of you silent.

"Guys, come on, let's go." You spoke up softly, almost keeping an eye out for that creature around somewhere.

"But where will we go without our means of transportation?" Brooklyn asked with a sigh, frustration and sadness evident in her voice.

"There!" Kenji points to another one nearby that hasn't been destroyed or touched yet, the monster roared in the distance and made everyone flinch.

"Guys, let's go!" Darius exclaimed and nodded, he stood next to you and everyone began to sprint towards the vehicle that was your ticket to escape this so-called unknown dinosaur.
