𝔸𝕟 𝕠𝕝𝕕 𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕...

And so the seven campers embark on their journey to the park, some having hopes with getting off the island while others are skeptical on the very idea. Nonetheless, you held your head high on the situation after all. You weren't alone thankfully and had Darius, Kenji, Sammy, Ben, Yasmina, and Brooklyn.

You all were walking for what seems like a few minutes, you were behind Darius and in front of Brooklynn and the others. Almost like you and dino nerd were the leaders, then a shriek left Ben causing everyone to turn and panic in fear as well.

"Sorry I stepped on a twig." Ben shakes his head with a cringe at seeing the broken branch his foot made contact with. A breath of relief left your lips since it wasn't anything bad.

"Ugh, come on, man!" Yasmina groans.

"You done gave me a heart attack!" Sammy breathing heavily.

"I should step on you." Kenji glaring daggers at him and began to walk towards him. You raise your arm in front of the raven haired teen to prevent him from doing so, shaking your head in disapproval.

"It's okay, Ben." Darius reassures with a wave of his hand, followed by you and chime in. "Yeah, I think it's safe to say that we're all on edge... And probably a little lost."

"Yeah, we've been out here for a while now... Darius, we sure we're still headed towards the park?" Guttierez asks with an unsure tone and look, Brooklyn walks over to her with a frown still present. "Well, we'd be sure if I still had my phone, because it has a GPS, a compass app, and it is also a phone!"

"Sammy didn't steal your phone, no one stole your phone! Can we please stop talking about your phone?!" Yasmina shoves the pink blogger back in annoyance over the topic resurfacing, which to be fair you were getting tired about Brooklynn continuously complaining about her missing device.

"Y-you guys! Could you all yell at each other in a more quieter voice, please!" Ben asks with a heavy sigh and worried tone about attracting a dinosaur somewhere nearby.

You were about to speak up before things would lead to another fight, until-

"My fellow campers, chill! What we need here is someone who can make the hard call on what to do next, since I'm obviously leadership material..." Kenji spoke up confidently to appear like a knight in shining armor, before walking over to you and Darius. "I'll do it... And my first decree as leader is for everyone to stop talking and just listen to Darius and Y/N."

"Huh?" left Bowman with a comfused look, followed by you raising an eyebrow at Kon. "Say what now?"

Kenji pulls you both aside with his arms wrapped you two. "You two got us out of camp alive. Plus, I can blame you if anybody gets eaten. Leadership." Kenji whispers with a grin as you roll your eyes at him with a huff, Darius sharing the same reaction as he frowns at the Asian boy. "So, which way?"

You glance at Darius since you weren't exactly sure where you all were currently at the moment. Bowman was silent as he turned around to have a look as Brooklynn scoffs from seeing past the facade of Kon, "Please, you're just trying to cover upp the fact that you're lost too, Mr. VIP-"

"Wait a minute, I know where we are! We're by the Carnotaurus paddock, I thought this place looked familiar!" Darius exclaimed happily and began to run ahead. You and the others following suite, before stopping midway when the yellow jacket boy stopped. You all saw a destroyed part of the electric fence down.

"O-oh no, that means... that Toro is out here, with us..." Ben shakes with fear at the very thought of another dinosaur roaming free.

"Great... Now we have to deal with the Indominus and Toro." You sigh softly with a pout and then Bowman realizes something. "Hold up. How does Ben know about Toro?"

"We all know... Kenji told us the whole thing, the day after it happened." Yasmina spoke up and walked past you two nonchalantly. You and Darius turn to glare at him

"Hey, in my defense, me saving you was super cool." Kenji held his hands up in defense with a smile. You smack the back of his head roughly as a soft grunt left his throat.

"We know that this enclosure is up north of the main park. So, if we go that way, we'll hit the visitors' center." Darius explains as you nod gently, "Yeah, hopefully we're sure to find Dave, Roxie, or someone else in charge that can help us."

"Yes! Exactly what I was thinking, as leader, which I am. Follow me!" Kenji laughed and gave Bowman a pat with ruffling your head and took over, marching ahead and acting like the so-called leader of the group.

The others just follow Kon despite being in agreement on listening to him, which left you, Darius, and Ben behind.

"I don't think finding an adult is going to help. A terrifying, camouflaged dinosaur trashed our camp! No way they have a plan for that." Pincus says nervously with his hands together.

Darius placing his hand on the boy's shoulder comfortingly, "Ben, I know it's scary, but this is Jurassic World. Dealing with dinosaurs is what they do."

"They didn't deal so well, back at the first park did they, did they? Hmm?" Ben questions.

He did make a good point, you remember hearing about the stories of the original park from the news and through actual explanations and in-depth descriptions from Dr. Grant, Ellie Satler, and Ian Malcom in their novels about what happened.

"Well, that was different. Plus we now we know on what could happen, it doesn't mean we can try and work our way around it." You shrug with a soft look, as Darius nods in agreement at your wise but calm words. "Yeah, everything will be okay, Ben. Trust us." Bowman walking ahead to find the others, you were about to move but halt in your steps and turn to the dirty blonde.

"Come on, I'll keep you company if you like?" You offered with a brief smile, Ben sighing as he follows the trail of footprints left by the others and walking alongside you.

You were ahead with Ben behind you and Darius leading once again, glancing back every now and then to check on the others. The last thing you heard was Yaz talking to Sammy, followed by spotting your Texan friend stopping with her head down almost like she was hesitant or scared.

The teens saw an Ankylosaurus on the ground with a broken Gyrosphere behind it.

"The Indominus Rex was definitely here. Predators don't just kill prey and then leave without feeding." Darius explains as he examined the scratch marks on the dinosaur and slowly got up.

"This is just cruel..." You felt an uneasy feeling in your stomach at the sight of the deceased Ankylosaurus. The sound of Anticipating for the unknown dinosaur to emerge from the tall grass, 

"Bumpy!" Ben ran out of his hiding spot, you couldn't help but smile and walk over immediately at the sweet sight of Pincus with the infant. A soft laugh leaving your lips and knelt down, "So this is the baby dino that Yaz mentioned..."

Kenji rolling his eyes with his eyebrow up. "More like drooly and smelly... Plus, how do you even know it's the same one from the lab?" You elbow his leg roughly with a light frown and got a low groan from him.

Ben glaring at the Asian male before turning back at his miniature friend and points to his head with a small smile. "The big bump on her head, Dr. Wu said that it was asymmetrical, but so what? I don't think it's bad. I mean, what's wrong with being different... and maybe if her parents had listened to her, she wouldn't have come here and gotten attacked!"

"Are we still talking about the dinosaur?" Yaz whispers in slight confusion but awareness of what Pincus just talked about. 

Feels like we're not still talking about the dinosaur. You thought before giving the miniature creature a little scratch on the head which continued to her neck and belly, a small laugh leaves your throat.

"Okay, as fun as this reunion is, shouldn't we keep moving south?" Kon asks with arms folded.

"Yeah, I'm not spending another hour walking through the jungle, hoping that we don't run into that Indominus... We need a new plan..." The pink haired star says with a huff.

"U-uh, yeah, obviously! So, I had our two lovebirds come up with a new one. Lay it on us, you two." Kenji turns to you and Darius, which made everyone look to you both.

"Uh... So we need to find somewhere safe close by. If camp is that way and the park is that way... Wait! Isn't Dr. Wu's field genetics lab near here?" The dino nerd asks as you snap your fingers, "Yeah! You guys went on the tour, does this area look familiar?" You asked while eying the four who were able to go, since you, Darius, and Kenji were busy dealing with poop duty and Toro.

Brooklynn had her arms folded and shrugs with a sigh, obviously tired and just wanted to get home already, Ben was mostly focused on Bumpy didn't seem to recognize anything, Yaz and Sammy were the last ones as they glance at each other before nodding at you two. 

"Hmm, I think it might be over that way." Sammy turned to her athlete friend with an unsure yet certain smile, "Yeah, seems about right." Fadoula shrugs in agreement.

"Great! Then that's where we should go, we might find an adult or worker who can help and tell us what to do. Right?" Darius encourages hopefully with a small smile at the thought.

Everyone freezing or flinching in fright at the sound of a caw or roar nearby, Brooklynn shaking her head and nods. "Fine, whatever! Let's just go to the lab. As long as we are far away from that thing..."

"Wait... What about Bumpy?" Ben asks sadly with the baby dinosaur close to his chest.

"She's a dinosaur, bro. Not to mention it's better that she belongs out here." Kenji sets him straight with a blank face, followed by Yasmina who chimes in. "Yup and she'll slow us down, we have to get going now."

"Sorry about us not being able to bring Bumpy along, Ben."

"I-it's fine, they're right anyways..."

It is a little weird that I didn't end this one with another cliff hanger, but anyways lmao 🤣🤣

Well, it's been a while since I last updated this, hasn't it? Again, I'm sorry for making you guys wait but here's a chapter to make up for the lost time and another one is being finished and should be coming soon. Hopefully it won't take as long as this one, so yeah... (A lot of things have been happening for me outside of Wattpad, so please pray for me. It's nothing bad though, just a lot of changes and all lol)

Also, before y'all ask...
Yes, I've seen Chaos Theory and absolutely loved it. I won't get into too much detail or spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet but It's so good and I can't wait for S2 to come out in the next few months, especially with what updates, info, and footage we'll be getting from Comic Con this year.
