Soon, we came to a stop and gasp in awe when we all finally got out of the jeep to look up at an enormous tree standing in front of us, from what it looked like was made into a building (from seeing the windows and lights shining) with the top looking like a treehouse. "This is so cool..."

Brooklyn immediately brought her phone out to film the place "Hey Brooklanders, check this place out!! Is it not the most amazing place you have ever seen?" She had a huge grin across her face in excitement while waving her arm at the building.
You could say that again!

"If you think this is cool, you should check out my dad's penthouse in the main park," Kenji commented with a smirk, walking past Brooklynn to have his face be seen in the video. This making the pink blogger roll her eyes at him. Your arms folded in amusement, I swear he's such a big pain in the—

"Hey Yasmina!" She shouted walking over to Track-star with her camera on. Oh okay, her name's Yasmina. Who was avoiding the pink haired girl by covering her face from being filmed "As a skilled athlete, how cool is it to be here in Camp Cretaceous?!"

"I'm not really good around cameras... Or people." She finished and ran away from Brooklynn, who stood there and lowered her phone in confusion but sadness before ending the video with a shrug.

You glanced back to see Dave and Roxie grabbing the bags and suitcases, walking over to the two adults and noticed how she was struggling in carrying some luggage. "Here, let me help you with that, Roxie." this making the female counsellor's eyes widen in shock.

"O-oh, why thank you, Y/N..." she nodded softly, and smiled softly. Dave gently ruffling your hair which made you laugh.

You were too busy helping the two counsellors whilst glancing at the giant tree house in amazement, to notice a certain yellow jacket wearing boy staring at you from afar...

Darius wasn't sure on why, but ever since you gave him a comforting pat on the back from making of fool out of himself earlier in front of the others. (And discovering how you had beaten the VR game as well) He had formed a somewhat desire in learning more about you, nothing creepy and in a friendly way of course! Not to mention how pretty you were, and seeing how you were helping Roxy and Dave just now showcasing your kind heart that made his heart smi—

"Hey, it's uhm, Darius right?"

He snapped out of his thoughts to see that you were in front of him, confusion clouding your features and yet a smile showing how you were holding back a laugh. His eyes widen and cheeks glowing a red hue in embarrassment.

"H-huh?—O-oh yeah! Yes, that's me... I'm Darius. Darius Bowman."

A soft laugh left your lips, which made him smile shyly. "And your name's Y/N?"

You nod "Yup, nice to meet you Darius."

"Same here..." He took a quick pause to calm down before speaking again "Soooooooooooooooooooooo—You got here by beating the VR Game too?"

"Pretty much, yeah. It took me six hours in total to beat the darn thing! They weren't kidding on it being unbeatable..." Shaking your head at the memory, as the brown boy laughing softly "I can relate, only I had to take a nap and wake up at 3AM in discovering what I did wrong. And by that, I mean seeing there was a way in stopping the T-Rex from killing me and being eaten to death. Which is where I used a Velociraptor's resonating chamber, kind of like a voice box and blew it to call for help where it's inside the sk—"

The young boy noticed how he was rambling on about himself and raptors, and stops with embarrassment "U-uhm, sorry about letting my inner Dino-nerd out..."

A soft chuckle leaving your throat "Hey, don't sweat it." flashing a soft smile and continued "It's actually pretty cool on how smart you are when it comes to dinosaurs. Meanwhile, I love them and know little about them other than a few names!!" (Me basically lmao 😭😂 XD)

He couldn't help but stare at you, no one's ever taken his love for extinct creatures greatly before like his dad. Darius got used to having most people around him not caring about what he thought about, especially when it came to dinosaurs. And yet, here you were saying how cool he was in knowing so much about extinct creatures "T-thanks, Y/N..."

"Wow, this place is almost as big as my family's ranch back home!" Sammy smiling in child-like wonder across her face, eyes looking around the place in awe.

As Roxie and Dave walked to the entrance with our things, lifting/tossing some at the top before stopping by in between the stairs "That's because when we're up and running, the camp will house 500 kids and 150 staff." Roxie states happily, hands set on her waist. Dang that's a lot of kids!

"Okay, listen up! Announcement Time from your two head counselors!" Dave clapped his hands together with a smile, Roxie frowning briefly at him before releasing a huff of air.

"Okay everyone... There's some ground rules to cover. Curfew's at 8:00pm, lights out at 9:00pm sharp!" Roxie instructed with a stern voice, finger on her watch and eying each of us.

"What? Lame..." Kenji rolled his eyes with the rest of us reacting in sighs and groans of disappointment and sadness of being unable to explore. (Meanwhile Ben was like "Yes!" XD 😂😂)

Dave rubbing the back of his neck in seeing the kids' reactions, Roxie noticing this and explained "Now, this is for your safety. We are on a dinosaur island, and in the jungle. So you must always keep your distance, for your safety or you could be seriously hurt... If not worse."

"Define worse?" Ben asks nervously.

"But hey, there's no need to worry about that!" Dave cut in with reassurance and thumbs up "So, let's put that aside as the cabins are up, that-a-way!!" He hollered and points to the entrance into the building, stepping aside awaiting for us to move forward.

"First one there gets top bunk!" Yasmina exclaimed, as she ran inside ahead of all of us. The others following suite up the stairs and into the building, giggling and cheering loudly.

I was about to head up with them, when I noticed Darius eying the jeep and walked towards it. Huh, he still wants to look at the compy? Tilting your head with interest and walk over to hear the conversation...

"W-wait! Aw man, I really wanted to have a better look on the compy!" He panted and stared at the vehicle that carried the cage with the tiny dinosaur inside.

Roxie glancing at the boy in surprise over his statement as Dave went beside him and grinned "I like your enthusiasm, Darius! But it's claim a bunk time! So you better get up there and climb one before the others take it."

"But, this is the first time I've ever seen a dinosaur in person! And we're here to see dinosaurs, so..." Darius trailed off awkwardly, staring at the ground with sad eyes as you place a hand on his shoulder comfortingly.

"Hey, cheer up Darius. I'm sure we will be seeing more dinosaurs soon!! I just know it, we're in Jurassic World after all. But for now let's just relax and get a bunk first."

Roxie nods "Y/N's right, you don't have to worry about it, Darius." She reassured with a small smile as the brown boy glanced your way and gave one in return.

"...And not to spoil anything, but we will have a fun activity later once you're all settled up there, so go and hop to it, you lovebirds!!" Dave winked and gently nudged you two forward to the building, sharing a brief look at each other awkwardly...

Noticing the boy's cheeks glowing a soft rose hue at the male counsellor's words "Well, let's get going." laughing softly but unaware that yours went red as well.

Darius shaking his head, flashing a shy grin and nodding afterwards "Y-yeah, let's go..."

"Okay, uhm... Favorite Color?" He asks.

You paused when grabbing your pjs, glancing up at the boy above you "Easy. F/C, and I absolutely despise pink." (Sorry for those who like the colour, just imagine it was a different one)

You and Darius were the last ones to unpack as everyone else got a head start, so the two of you were getting your things ready for the coming days of Camp. Before that having a petty argument as to who would get the top bunk, which ultimately went to the brown boy while you stayed at the bottom.

"Your turn." He said

"Favourite Dinosaur?" Smirking a little bit, you liked giving Darius some difficult questions when it came to choosing things about dinosaurs.

"Ughhhhhhhh, that's hard! You know I can't answer that!!" He groaned and heard him knock his head onto his bed with a light thud above you.

"That's why I chose it." You chuckled lowly.

"You're evil..." almost knowing his annoyed expression by the tone in his voice. And grinned "Aw, why thank you."

Soon time flew by a lot quicker than expected, and now as promised by Dave and Roxie: experiencing the very first activity for Camp, Sunset Herding, was what the blonde male called it. As you were all standing in a tower that had a great view of the dinosaur herds passing by down below. Male employees/trainers surrounding them as they went on.

"There's a Brachiosaurus! Parasaurolphus! Stegosaurus! Ankylosaurus!" He squealed at all the dinosaurs that pass by, naming a few of the dinosaurs that were walking.

"Wow, you really do know your stuff, Dino-Nerd..." Brooklynn laughs. Why did you feel a warm feeling in your stomach in hearing her say that?

"Hey! Check out the... Brontosaurus!" Kenji chimes in while pointing to a Brachiosaurus, trying to sound smart like Darius. Which (obviously) didn't work out...

"Oh, they don't have those here. Common mistake." Darius replied, keeping his eyes fixed on the herds. While you stifling some laughs from escaping that did the rich kid noticed, who rolled his eyes back.

"Woah, Sinoceratops?! Where did they get those?" Darius gaped and glancing at the two counsellors with shock.

"Oh, they are cooking up all kinds of new dinos in that lab." Dave explained proudly, arms folded and staring at the scene below.

"Where are they herdin 'em to?" Sammy asks with a tiny head tilt, hands holding the metal bars as she leaned forward.

"They're herding them back to their nighttime enclosures." Roxie replies, holding her clipboard in her hands.

"Okay, enough banter. It's zip-line party time!!" Dave cheered, pointing to the thick wire line that came all the way from our tower to other. We all got strapped into harnesses, before attaching a black rope to the zip-line.

Ben was the first person to get on, you could tell how nervous he was "O-oh, uh, I don't know. Maybe someone else should go first—" only being pushed off the edge by Kenji. This causing the boy to scream loudly as he whizzed over the dinosaur herds, petrified, his eyes sealed shut and tightly clinging onto the bar/handle/rope. You couldn't help but laugh softly, but also pitied the young boy.

And soon, everyone got on their own and jumping off from the tower and going down the zip line. You would be lying if you said you weren't scared, it was pretty high up "Okay, hold on tight!" Dave exclaimed and pushes you off, a yelp leaving your throat and felt the breeze hitting your face gently. Your eyes closed before hearing the low bellowing of dinosaurs and the metal rubbing against the rope/wires, slowly opening them and looked down, releasing a gasp in watching all the different species of Herbivores move underneath me. Amazement replacing the fear you once had in your eyes at the extraordinary sight of the sunset, the jungle, the dinosaurs moving below and extend your arm out to feel the air rubbing against your fingertips as your eyes made contact with one of a brachiosaurus that watched you guys zoom by. (I don't know why the zip line scene of Divergent came into mind when writing this part lmao 😂😂)

A feeling of adrenaline and excitement within your veins when your zip line ride was over, meeting Roxie who helps you out of your seat.

"That was awesome!!" Darius cheered, as we started to walk back to the treetop cabins.

"Yeah, it was pretty cool..." You smiled with shaking your head at the recent memory, walking next to Darius. Ben beside you, a soft frown hovering your features in seeing the fear still in his eyes "Hey, you okay there, Ben?" You asked with a worrisome tone.

"Y-yes, yes I'm fine. I'm fine..." Ben shrugged off, releasing a low sigh seeming a bit frustrated but sad at the same time. You decided to leave him be in not wanting to get him upset.

"So, what're ya'll lookin forward to doin' tomorrow?" Sammy asks with her hands together excitedly, chiming in to start a conversation.

"Well, there's a lot of things to expect I guess?" You shrugged and continued "But one of the things I'm looking forward to the most, is riding a gyrosphere!"

Darius nodded "Oh yeah, same here. But I'd be thrilled for a lab tour, I mean, we might be able to witness a baby dinosaur being born! That's something I've wanted to see for forever!!"

"Yeah, as long as it'll be cool and fun. It will definitely be a big viewing for my followers to enjoy." Brooklynn smiles sheepishly with her phone in hand, going through the zip line footage she recorded.

"Oh, isn't this nice? All of us walking together with the sunset out?" Kenji spoke slowly, trying to be smooth by wrapping his arm around me and Brooklynn's shoulders. To which, I shrug off gently with an eyebrow raise. "Since when did you become a big softie, Mr. Nutjob?"

"Hey, I can be whatever you want, Miss feisty." He smirked.

"Oh, buzz off..."

"Okay. It's 7, and all of you should be starting to go back to your cabins. Now, you can stay in the main room until 8 if you want, but remember. Lights. Out. At. 9 Sharp!" She reminded with a low tone. "Now, if you need either me or Roxie, we will be up there in our lil' humble abode." Dave instructs with a grin, the brunette head counsellor scoffing at his last words.

"But for now, don't stay up too late and we will see you all tomorrow." Roxie finished, as both her and Dave leave the kids be and walk to their cabin.

"Oh, hell yes—No adults!" Kenji whisper-cheered, as he ran up the stairs. All of us glancing at each other with questioning looks, you shaking your head with a laugh.

"Well, I'm gonna go and edit my new blog. See you guys!" Brooklynn walks away to the main room, where the WiFi signal was the strongest.

"Well, I think I'll be getting ready to sleep." Darius spoke up with a yawn.

"Yeah, kinda gettin' ready to hit the hay too..." Sammy stretched a little with rubbing her eyes slowly. You noticed how Ben had already left too without any of you looking. He must've went to bed already too.

"Same here..." You nodded, and so, the three of you went to the cabin room and got ready for bed. All dressed up in comfortable pajamas.

"Goodnight, Y/N." Darius laid on his bed and pulled his blanket up.

"Night, Darius..." you yawned and fell into deep slumber with a small grin, your first day at Camp Cretaceous had ended!

So, judging by the teaser we got. It seems that they were able to get inside that room (E750) we discovered near the finale of Season 2.

Which also teased a mysterious new dinosaur still in containment!! 👀👀

I have a feeling it'll be the Indo-Raptor, but it could also be a new dinosaur we've never seen before!!

Also I'm curious as to whether or not Hank is still alive, because his character needs a redemption!! 😭😭

And I'm wondering if this season will tie into Fallen Kingdom yet, because we all know how the first one starts in the same time of Jurassic World.

So, very curious as to how that will work out because when I remembered the events of FK, I was hoping these guys weren't left behind on Isla Nublar this whole time only to die, it was too dark to take in...

But it's a kids show so they'll live lmao

And of course, wondering on how they will get home on their own.

And I think Paul just gave us a tease into what other storylines we'll get from Season 3:

— As much as I dislike Brooklynn and Darius together, I'd still like to see it play out. (They seem like the most generic couple that I had a feeling people would immediately pair up)

I'm also curious to see Yaz and Sammy since I can the chemistry and bond they had throughout the two seasons, and see them as innocent teenage versions of Harley x Ivy!! 💕

and I'm certain Benji stans are raising their hands right now as we speak lol 😜🤣
