Guys I wrote words

The four arrived at the supermarket a couple of minutes later after debating which creature Star should summon. They all agreed on a lion in the end. A flying lion. With wings and all that.

They unmounted the huge feline after they arrived. Star hugged it before using her wand to make it disappear.

"Alllllright! I'm ready!", Janna said confidently.

"This is gonna be fun," remarked Jackie.

The friends walked into the supermarket, the automatic doors opening and then closing after they stepped in. Janna started to wander around, looking for a worthy "victim". The supermarket was more crowded than usual that day. Not that it wasn't crowded pretty much all the time, but that day it was like half of the town was also playing truth or dare to kill time. Too many people to choose from.

Janna eventually decided to hop into an older woman's cart.

A poor choice, really. The woman got so angry, that she chased Janna AND her friends outside the supermarket.

"God, What's up with old ladies and chasing down teenagers?" Jackie asked, panting.

Janna shrugged. "I dunno, and it's the second one today," she said. "Wonder if they're related. They both can surely run with the speed of light. Christ, it's like all elders can suddenly become marathon runners if someone makes them angry."

Marco chuckled. "Yeah, it's weird. My grandpa's just like that."

Jackie pat the Latino's shoulder. "Anyway. Marco, truth or dare?"

"Um, we can choose truth two times in a row, right? So, truth," he said, shrugging.

"Oh, sweet. As I said, I'm really bad at dares. So! Have you had any other crushes beside me?" Jackie wiggled her eyebrows, motion which made Janna burst into laughter in the background.

Marco's face reddened. He shrugged and rubbed his neck. "No...not really," he admitted.

Janna took a step forward before Jackie could say anything else. "Yeaaah, we should probably get back to Marco's. If I don't get water soon I think my head is going to melt."

The group spent the rest of the afternoon over at the Diaz house, laughing, drinking lots of cold drinks, as well as eating tons of ice cream, playing truth or dare and genuinely having a good time together.

By the time the clock hit 6 PM, they were still deep into the game. It was Jackie's turn again. "Star...you know the drill."

"Hmmm, truth, I guess?", Star answered.

"Alright, Star. Who would you rather date? Me, Marco, or Janna?", Jackie asked, leaning her back against the couch and winking in Janna's direction. She's been waiting a looong time for Star to finally pick truth.

The blunette almost choked on her ice tea. She put her glass aside and gave Jackie a death glare.

"Uhhhhhh..." Star felt how her cheeks started burning. She was definitely not expecting that. This is the only reason why you don't choose truth while this game. It seemed kind of awkward for her at the time, mostly because, without a doubt, she was already 100% sure who she'd date out of the three. She just had to play it cool.

Jackie smirked. "Oh, come on, Star. Don't be shy! There's nothing to be embarrassed about."

"Um, yeah, I guess?" The princess tried not to make eye contact with Janna. "I...I don't think I can choose between the three of you, really. But...I think...you and Janna would make pretty rad girlfriends."

"Ooooooh as in...a poly relationship?" Jackie raised an eyebrow, trying to resist her urge to grin like an idiot.

"Jackie, I--I think that's enough truth or dare for you," Janna was done with Jackie's shenanigans for the day.

Star looked over at Marco. "What's a...poly...relationship?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

Marco scratched his temple. "It's um...dating more than one person at a time. Obviously, with the knowledge of all partners," he explained.

"This conversation has become extremely weird. Let's just...move on," Janna suggested.

Jackie rolled her eyes. "Fine. Janna, it's your turn to pick."

"Pshhh, dare, as always."

The blonde's lips curled up in a devilish smirk. "Hm. Alrighty, then. I dare you to kiss the person that you find most attractive in this room...on the lips."

"Huh?!"

"Well, it's not my fault you always choose dare! Like, literally always! Plus, it's obvious you're going to kiss me."

"Oh, you wish!"

Jackie placed a hand over her heart in an overly dramatic way. "Ouch," she said in a sassy fashion. "So...you gonna do it or nah?"

Janna puffed her bangs out of her face. "You bet. But first, you all have to close your eyes and swear you're not going to open them."

"...Sure?" Marco shrugged.

The three teens looked at each other before closing their eyes as requested.

Janna took a long, calming breath before realizing what she was about to do. She's always had a little...big crush on Star, but...how would the princess react? Well, she did admit Janna would make a 'pretty rad girlfriend', which kinda meant she liked her, right? She hoped, at least.

Janna was snapped out of her thoughts as Jackie spoke up, "You still doing this?"

"Yea, yea, shut up."

With that, Janna stood up and walked up to Star carefully. It was a good thing she and Jackie were close to each other, otherwise it would have been extremely awkward for Star hearing Janna's footsteps coming towards her. She kneeled down in front of her two friends and gazed anxiously at both of them. Jackie had a smirk on her face while Star seemed to be blushing. She couldn't help herself but stare at the princess' lips, knowing she was finally able to kiss them. Janna was hesitant, but a dare must be fulfilled. She slowly leaned in, stopping right before her lips met Star's, and once again, she stared at the beautiful girl in front of her. Janna smiled and closed her eyes. Here we go... Their lips finally made contact. Star was a bit startled when she felt Janna's soft lips against hers, but she gladly accepted the kiss and kissed back, cupping Janna's cheeks.

The kiss felt like an eternity, but unfortunately, all good things come to an end. The girls came back to reality as a too familiar click was heard right beside them.

Star quickly removed her hands as she stared in the direction from where the sound came from. Jackie apparently forgot to silence her phone. Of course the blonde would take a picture of them!

"The heck?!" Janna yelled, furiously reaching out to snatch the phone from Jackie's hands, but to no avail, the other girl was already on her feet and crackling at the photo she just took.

"Chill, Janna! I'm not going to post it anywhere! This pic is for me."

"As if that wasn't creepy enough already! What were you thinking?!"

"I was thinking it would be nice to have an illustrated memory of you and Star's first kiss? So, what do you think? Aren't you going to thank me?"

"Thank you?! Are you nuts?!"

"A bit, maybe. Hey Star, what are your thoughts on this? Don't you think I'm a genius?"

Meanwhile, Star wasn't even able to move. She was still trying to process what had just happened. "Ehm, umm...w-what?"

"You...broke her, Jackie," Marco joked.

"No, no, I'm...fine," said Star as she slowly stood up. "I think...I think you shouldn't take it so seriously, Janna. It's just a photo," the princess smiled.

Janna looked away, blushing. "Yeah, yeah, I guess..."

Several hours later, way after the sun had already set, the teenagers found themselves waving their goodbyes to each other.

Janna and Jackie were on their ways home, however, not a word had been spoken since they left the Diaz residence. Perhaps Janna was mad at her for what happened earlier, or maybe not--Jackie had no idea what was on her friend's mind. Just as the blonde was ready to open her mouth, Janna spoke up, "Hey, ummm...thanks for...y'know--"

"For...daring you to kiss Star? Well, the dare was to kiss the person you found most attractive, not directly Star, but..."

"Yeaaah, but still. I know where you were trying to get to. To be honest, I don't think I would've been able to do that on my own, so...thanks. ...again."

"Aw, you really shouldn't thank me. That's what friends do! We help each other!"

"--in our own asshole way," there was a hint of sass in Janna's voice.

Jackie chuckled. "Exactly," she stated.

Janna smiled and scratched the back of her head. "And uhhh...one more thing."

The blonde checked the time on her phone and blinked. "Uh, yeah, sure."

"You have to send me that photo."
