After 20 painful minutes, The Queen of Hearts left in a sulky huff. I approached Alice, "Hey... uh, what was that? And why does everyone seem to know me, what is going on here!?" I had finally burst, I was sick of these secrets, why wouldn't anyone give me any straight answers?

She took a deep breath, "I've hidden it too long and you deserve to know the truth. Ask anything and I'll answer my best," I gave her a list of questions, " I'm just going to answer all your questions in one go," she said, "Here we go...

Your mother is the Hatters sister, she was quite the opposite of mad though, when she was in her early 20s, she decided to run away from all the madness, you see, her family was also quite mad and she was tired of it all. She passed the borders of Wonderland and found a passage that leads to your world. She settled there and immediately fell in love, she married and you were born. She kept her background a complete secret and not many people knew much about her there. Not long after, things started going weird, not Wonderland weird, but real psycho weird. Things from other worlds started appearing, we found about half a dozen dwarves blabbering about a sleeping princess wondering around our woods, then we found this green dude with a donkey muttering something about rescuing Fiona. We don't know how they're getting in but we know that to take them back you trap them back inside their stories. None of us knows how, but it's said that only people from your world can do it, we sent for your mother because she was the only one we knew who could get here and was from your world. She agreed to come back and left you with your dad to help save Wonderland. She tried and failed many times so she finally told us to get her daughter to do it since she herself obviously wasn't 'normal' enough. We only barely persuaded Heather's mum, well, you would know her as the Queen of Hearts' mum not that you had heard of her though, we persuaded her to go and get you. She travelled to your world through your mother's instructions and disguised herself. She fiddled with everyone's memories since she's part witch and became your step-mum's boss for a few days. When she finally got to come to your house she placed the portal where you would most likely find it quickest, so you could come here. Not many people know you've arrived, only the people you've met. But once Heather blurts it out for the whole kingdom to hear, you'll become a celebrity. I hope you deal with pressure well."

I stood there mesmerised by her words, things started making sense and I understood everything. We sat there in silence for a few minutes just thinking, then I said, "But what if I can't do it..."

She looked like I'd slapped her in the face, "Well, of course you can, we didn't bring you here for nothing."
