{the magnificent seven}

Sam and Amelia are sitting in the Impala in the dark, reading a book, well Sam is at least. The header at the top of the page reads, 'Dr. Faustus', and there is information about Crossroads Deals. Sam looks up to see Dean inside a motel room across from him, he is only wearing only an undershirt. Dean grins and gives Sam a double-thumbs up, at which Sam and Amelia shakes their heads.

"Do they do this all the time?" Amelia asked Sam as she took a bite out of the burger that Sam had gotten her, because he was nice and he got her food, which she wasn't complaining if she is being honest.

"Not entirely, at least once a month, give or take." Sam says as Amelia nodded her head as she offered him a french fry and he took it. "Are you trying to feed me?"

"Maybe, unless you don't want it. I can take it back." Amelia says as Sam had moved the french fry that she had given him, away from her.

"Who says I was going to give it back?" Sam asked her as she thumped his head, he pretended like that had hurt. "Ow, great you're another version of Ana." Sam says, as Amelia grinned at what he said.

"Thanks, I guess." Amelia says to him as she took another bite from her burger.

Then, Amelia sees, Ana comes into frame from the right, as Dean shuts the sheer curtains, the two of are undressing themselves, in the silhouette. Sam smiles affectionately and is turning back to his book, while Amelia finishes her burger and fries as then Sam's phone rings.

"Hello." Sam says to the other person on the phone.

"Hey, Sam." The voice said as it was Bobby, who was in his own car, somewhere.

"Hey, Bobby." Sam says as Amelia had a small smile.

"Whatcha doin'?"  Bobby says to Sam.

"Oh, same old, same old." Sam replies to Bobby.

"You buried in that book, again?" Bobby says, as Sam grimaces. "Sam, you want to break Dean free of that demon deal, you ain't gonna find the answer in no book."

"Then where, Bobby?" Sam asked.

"Kid, I wish I knew. So, where's your brother and Ana?" Bobby asked.

Sam glances up to see Dean frolicking in silhouette through the curtains. "Polling the electorate." Sam says, as Amelia snorted at what he said.

"What?" Bobby asked confused.

"Never mind." Sam replies.

"Well, you guys, better pack it up. I think I finally found something." Bobby says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

After, Sam got Dean and Ana, the four of them are in the Impala, as they are going to the place where Bobby told them. "Let me see your knife." Sam says.

"What for?" Dean asked.

"So, I can gouge my eyes out." Sam says.

"It was a beautiful, natural act, Sammy." Dean says.

"It's a part of you nor Ana I never wanted to see, Dean." Sam says to his brother, as Ana grins at what he said.

Dean chuckles, as he slaps Sam on the thigh. "Hey, I appreciate you giving me a little quality time with Miss Horror." Dean says before he continued. "Who was very kissable, and she--"

"Dean, please stop." Amelia says to Dean cutting him off of finishing his sentence.

"Yeah, no problem." Sam says a little quietly.

"Really? Well, I got to say, I was expecting a weary sigh or an eye roll something." Dean says to his brother.

"No, not at all. You deserve to have a little fun." Sam says to him, and also subtly Ana as well.

"Well, I am in violent agreement with you there." Dean says as he chuckles.

"What did Dad say?" Ana asked Sam.

"Not much. A crop failure and a cicada swarm outside of Lincoln, Nebraska. Ahh, could be demonic omens--" Sam says.

"Or could just be a bad crop and a bug problem." Dean says.

"Yeah, but it's our only lead." Sam says.

"Any freaky deaths?" Ana asked.

"Nothing, Bobby could find -- not yet, anyway." Sam says.

"It's weird, man. I mean, the night the devil's gate opened, all these weirdo storm clouds were sighed over how many cities?" Dean asked.

"Seventeen." Ana and Amelia say in unison as they shared a smirk.

"Seventeen. You'd think it would be, 'Apocalypse Now', but it's been five days and bubkis." Dean says as Sam looks at him confused.

"Where are the demon's waiting for?" Amelia asked.

"Beats me." Sam replies

"It's driving me crazy. I tell you, if it's gonna be war, I wish it would just start already." Dean says.

"I don't know, man. Be careful what you wish for." Sam says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The next morning, the four of them pull up outside a farmhouse. Dean gets out of the car munching on a cheeseburger, along with Ana who is munching on some french fries. The air is filled with the sounds of cicadas.

"Hear those cicadas?" Ana asked as she took a bite out of her fries.

"That can't be a good sign." Dean says.

"No. No, it isn't." Amelia says.

"So, we're eating bacon cheeseburgers and french fries for breakfast, are we?" Bobby says greeting Ana and Dean.

"Well, he sold his soul. And I wanted fries, sue us."

"'Sides, I got a year to live, I ain't sweating the cholesterol." Dean says as Ana smiled, but to her it is just another reason why she isn't looking forward the closer they get to when Dean goes to Hell. Each day is one day closer to when he leaves, and she will never see him again.

"So, Bobby, what do you think? We got a biblical plague here or what?" Sam asked.

"Well, let's find out. Looks like the swarm's ground zero." Bobby says.

Dean pounds on the farmhouse door. "Candygram!"

There was no answer but cicadas chirping. Dean picks the lock and opens the door; they cover their noses in disgust. "That's awful." Amelia says, as Ana moved her hand a little down to cover her mouth.

"That, so can't be a good sign." Dean says, as Ana swallows to keep her contents in her mouth, so that they don't come up.

Dean enters first, then Sam behind him with a gun drawn. The four of them including Bobby creep through the house, stopping in the second room, where they can hear what sounds like muffled screams.

"You hear that?" Sam asked.

Ana kicked the door to the next room, the sounds turn out to be coming from a television set. A family of three is seated on the couch, several days dead. The five of them recoil at the increased stench, as Ana gags also.

"Oh my God." Amelia says.

"Dad, what the hell happened here?" Ana asked her Dad.

"I don't know." Bobby says.

"Check for sulfur." Dean says.

"Yeah." Bobby says as he left to go check.

The five of them investigate the room, Dean hears a noise out front and whistles quietly, then he signals to the others that he's going to go check it out. Bobby, Sam and Amelia circle around the other direction.

Out front, Dean exits cautiously, with his gun drawn, and looks around. As Ana is right behind him, also with her gun drawn also. Before she took another step, Dean is knocked to the ground by a man with a shotgun. Ana lets out a gasp when she sees what happened, she pointed her gun at the man.

"Anastasia?" The woman says.

"Okay, next time you wanna beat up my boyfriend, I prefer a heads up, thank you." Ana says as she helped Dean up from the ground.

"What the hell are you doing here?" The woman asked Ana.

"I could ask the same. " Ana says to her.

"Heya, Ana." The other person says as Dean looked at Ana.

"Who are you two?" Dean asked.

"I'm Issac and this is my wife, Tamara." Issac introduces to the boyfriend of Dean.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"Honey? Where's the Palo Santo?" Issac asked Tamara.

"Well, where'd you leave it?" Tamara asked, as Ana rolled her eyes at the other couple. It isn't that she doesn't like Issac and Tamara, she never really clicked to her.

"I don't know, dear. That's why I'm asking." Issac says.

"Palo Santo?" Sam asked as Ana didn't look up, as she was about to say something.

"It's--" Ana says, but she got cut off why Tamara.

"It's holy wood, from Peru. It's toxic to demons like holy water. Keeps the bastards nailed down while you're exorcising them." Tamara says as Ana bit her cheek.

"Yeah, that, I was getting there, but thanks for that." Ana retorted as for some reason Tamara had a smile on her face when Ana said that.

Tamara digs into a bag and pulls out a large, pointed stake, she hands it to Issac. "Thank you, Dear." Issac says.

"You'd lose your head if it wasn't for me." Tamara says.

"So, how long you two been married?" Sam asked as Ana gave him a look when he asked that.

"Eight years this past June." Tamara says.

"That's great." Ana says with thick sarcasm, laced in her voice, as Tamara and Issac ignored her, like how John used to do.

"The family that slays together." Issac says as Dean's on the phone as Ana got up and walked away.

"Right. I'm with you there, so how'd you get started?" Sam asked, as Tamara and Issac looked at each other, with hard memories. "I uh, you know... I'm sorry. It's not -- that's none of my business." Sam says.

"No, no, it's alright." Tamara says, as Dean had hanged up the phone, and he turned to Ana.

"That was the coroner's tech." Dean says to her as Ana nodded her head.

"And?" Ana asked him.

"The family's cause of death? Dehydration and starvation. There's no sign of restraint, no violence, and no struggle. They just sat down and never got up." Dean says to her as he brushed a piece of hair behind Ana's ear.

"But there was a fully stocked kitchen just yards away." Ana says to him. "Was this a demon attack?"

"You two want to announce it to the rest of the class or keep it to yourself?" Issac says to Ana and Dean as Dean grabbed her arm, which wasn't tightly at all, knowing that she'd lunge out at Issac.

"It was probably demons that killed them." Dean says.

"What do you mean, demons?" Issac asked.

"You know the black smoke demons, the ones that escaped from Hell. Or are you too stupid enough of not knowing that a fucking demon is." Ana snapped at Issac, as Dean had to hold onto Ana.

"Why don't you calm down, or something." Issac says to the Singer girl.

"Yeah, that does make sense, it could be a demon, or demons." Sam says as Dean nodded his head at what his brother said.

"Well, what now? What should we do?" Amelia asked for the group but also more so for herself at the same time.

"Uh, 'we're' not gonna do anything." Issac says.

"What do you mean?" Sam asked as Amelia crossed her arms over her chest.

"You guys seem nice enough, minus Anastasia who needs to control her temper, but this ain't 'Scooby-Doo', and we don't play well with others." Issac says.

"Well, then be my guest and leave then." Ana says to Issac as he gave the redhead a glare which didn't phase her at all, as she isn't afraid of him.

"No, offense, but we're not teaming up with the damn idiots who let the Devil's Gate get opened in the first place." Issac says as he turned back to the rest of them.

"No offense?" Dean asked him.

"Issac, like you never made a mistake." Tamara says to her husband, as Dean held Ana just a little tighter as he pressed a kiss on the top of her head.

"Oh, yeah, yeah. Locked my keys in the car, turned my laundry pink. Never brought on the end of the world, though." Issac says as Dean had his arms in a tight hold around Ana.

"Alright, that's enough." Dean says to Issac.

"Guys, this isn't helping." Sam says trying to reason, but it went over Issac's head.

"Look, there are a couple hundred or more demons out there right now. We don't know where they are, or when they'll strike. There ain't enough hunters in the world to handle something like this. You guys brought a war on us -- on all of us." Issac says.

"Okay, that's quite enough testosterone for now." Tamara says as she pulls Issac away as they leave the room.

Ana scoffed at seeing Issac and Tamara leaving, which was probably a good thing as her and Issac had never really gotten along at all, along with her and Tamara. Those two get under Ana's skin, and anyone who gets under her skin is an automatic 'i don't like you' type of thing. "It's okay." Dean says to her as he pressed another kiss on the top of her head, and slowly but surely, she began to calm down a little more. He knew how on edge she was and to not make the matter or situation worse, he knew that he had to get her to calm down a little more.

"Let's get some rest then go in the morning." Sam says as the group couldn't help but nod their heads at what they said.

Dean and Ana went to a separate room for the night, as Dean brought Ana into his lap on the bed, he brushed his hand over her jaw. "S'kay baby." He says to her as he gently pushed her head onto his shoulder. When her head was on his shoulder, he pressed a kiss on her head.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Policemen are taking forensic evidence at the murder scene, as Sam and Amelia watch, they go into the store. Dean and Ana are talking to a witness. "What happened outside makes you realize how fragile life really is. You got to make every second count." The witness nods her head, as Sam and Amelia approach the couple, as Sam clears his throat.

"Excuse us." Ana says as the witness leaves.

"What are you two doing?" Sam asked.

"We're comforting the bereaved. What are you two doing?" Dean says.

"Workin'. Dead body, possible demon attack -- that kind of stuff." Sam says.

Dean coughs pathetically. "Sam, I'm sorry. It's just. I don't have much time left, and uh..." Dean says as there's more theatrical coughing as Ana has a smile creeping on her face. "... got to make every second count." Dean says.

"Yeah, right. Sorry." Sam says as Amelia just rolled her eyes.

"Apology accepted." Dean says like nothing happened as he has a smile on his face.

Just then Bobby enters with his hair slicked back, as the four of them look at him impressed. "Whoa." The four of them say in unison.

"Looking spiffy, Bobby. What were you, a G-man?" Dean asked.

"Attorney for the DA's office. I just spoke to the suspect." Bobby says.

"Yeah? So, what do you think? Is she possessed or what?" Amelia asked.

"Don't think so. There's none of the usual signs -- no blackouts, no loss of control. Totally lucid. Just, she really wanted those shoes. Spilled a glass of holy water on her just to be sure; nothing." Bobby says.

"Maybe she's just some random whack job." Ana says/

"If it had been an isolated incident, maybe, but first the family, now this? I believe in a lot of things. Coincidence ain't one of them. Did you guys find anything around here." Bobby says.

"No sulfur, nothing, nada, zilch." Amelia says.

"Well maybe something." Dean says as he nods to a security camera in the ceiling. "See? I'm working."

"Congratulations, here's a cookie." Ana says to Dean which made him give her a look, as Amelia snickered, as Sam smiled a little.

"That's it, until you can learn your lesson, no cuddles, nothing, nada." Dean says which made Ana look at him.

"Meanie." Ana grumbles under her breath.

The five of them are in the security room, watching the security footage. "Find anything interesting?" Dean asks.

"I don't know yet. Might just be a guy..." Amelia says as they watch a redheaded man approach the blonde woman. "Or it might be our guy."

───※ ·❆· ※───

The group is now in Bobby's car, and at a stakeout at a bar. "What time is it?" Bobby asked with a yawn.

"Seven past midnight." Dean says.

"You sure this is the right place?" Amelia asked.

"No, but I spent all day canvasing this stupid town with this guy's stupid mug, and supposedly, he drinks at this... stupid bar." Dean says.

"You sound like a toddler who doesn't want to take a nap." Ana says.

"Annie, not now." Dean says to Ana. Just then there was a loud pounding on the window, as Dean and Bobby along with Mia jumps as it's Sam who grins at their discomfort and slips in the backseat, as Ana laughs but stops when she sees Dean's glare at her. "Sweetheart, you're really pushing it right now."

"Alright, so, John Doe's name is Walter Rosen. He's from Oat Park, just west of Chicago. Went missing about a week ago." Sam says.

"The night the Devil's Gate opened?" Amelia asked.

"Yeah." Sam says.

"So, you think he's possessed?" Ana asked.

"Well, it's a good bet. So, what he just walks up to someone, touches them and they go stark raving psycho?" Sam asked.

"Those demons that got out at the gate -- they're gonna do all kinds of things we haven't seen." Bobby says.

"You mean the demons we let out." Sam says.

Dean sees something, he sees the redheaded man getting out of his car and walks towards the bar. "Alright, showtime."

"Wait a minute." Bobby says.

"What?" Dean asked.

"What'd I just say? We don't know what to expect out of this guy. We should tail him till we know for sure." Bobby says.

"Oh, so he kills someone, and we just sit here with our junk in our hands?" Dean asked.

"We're no good dead! And we're not gonna make a move until we know what the score is." Bobby says.

"Uh, I don't think that's an option." Amelia says.

"Why not?" Bobby asked, as Amelia nods indicating another car that has just entered the lot. Issac and Tamara are heading towards the bar. "Damn it!"

───※ ·❆· ※───

A woman puts a song on the jukebox, the bartender slides a drink towards the redheaded man, who is sitting at a bar. At a table, a waitress sets down drinks for Issac and Tamara. "Thanks a lot." Issac says.

"You're welcome." The waitress says as he pulls out a flask of holy water, Tamara eyes him.

The redheaded man walks past them towards the bathroom. "Pull the car in back. We'll be right out." Issac says.

"I love you." Tamara says.

"I know." Issac says, as he heads towards the bathroom, the bartender grabs his arm and stops him, as Tamara stands up alertly.

"What do you think you're doing?" The bartender asked.

"I'm just hitting the head." Issac says.

"No." The bartender says as he grabs the flask of holy water and tosses it aside. "I mean, what do you think you're doing here?" He asked again, as his eyes flash black, as he's a demon. Tamara stands behind Issac as they both recoil in fear. "I don't like hunters in my bar."

The hunters turn to see the waitress stalking towards them and see that the rest of the employees and patrons have turned towards them. The redheaded man walks back out of the bathroom, and everyone else in the bar close in around them, all have black demon eyes.

"Man, you really walked into the wrong place." The redheaded man says.

"Hold on, I like the girl." The waitress says.

"Wish I had me a girl like that." The redheaded man.

"I can think of about a thousand things I'd like to do with her." The waitress says.

"You're not gonna lay one filthy finger on her!" Issac yells to the demons, as a plaid shirt guy approaches Issac.

"I got something for you." The guy says as he lifts a large bottle of drain cleaner. "Here, has a drink. On me, hmm?"

"Issac?" Tamara asks panicked.

"On the house!" The redheaded man says.

"Issac!" Tamara yells as she is restricted by the waitress, which is preventing her from running towards her husband, as Issac takes the bottle and begins pouring its contents down his throat, as Tamara screams in the background and the demons cackle wildly. "Issac, no! Baby, please!" Issac drains the bottle, shaking and drops it to the floor. He gags in agony as foamy liquid and blood starts bubbling out through his mouth. He chokes and collapses to the floor, dead.

"Oh, he's down!" The redheaded man says, as he turns to Tamara. "Alright, honey, your turn!"

Just then a screech of tires, as Bobby's car bursts through the front door of the bar. Dean, Sam and Amelia get out armed with holy water, which they fling violently into the crowd of demons. They back up and Amelia grabs Tamara, who is still screaming for Issac. "Come on, we got to go! He's dead! Get in the car!" Amelia yells as Dean is immersed in the fight. "Dean, come on!" Amelia yells. "DEAN! COME ON!"

Dean has entered combat with the redheaded man, he opens the trunk just as he runs out of holy water, the redheaded man grins. Dean overpowers him and stuffs him in the trunk, which is inscribed with a devil's trap, which causes the redheaded man to scream. Deam tumbles into the passenger seat as Ana steps on the gas and the car drives away fastly.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The redheaded man is tied to a chair under the devil's trap on the ceiling in the next room, an argument is ongoing as Ana is opting out of it.

"...And I say we're going back - now!" Tamara says.

"Just hold on a second!" Sam intervenes.

"I left my husband bloody on the floor!" Ana says.

"Okay, I understand that, but we can't go back." Sam says.

"Fine. Then you stay. But I'm heading back to that bar." Tamara says.

"I'll go with her." Dean says.

"It's suicide, Dean!" Sam says.

"So what? I'm dead already!" Dean says.

"How you gonna kill 'em? Can't shoot 'em. You can't stab 'em. They're not just gonna wait in line to get exorcised!" Sam says.

"I don't care!" Tamara intervenes.

"We don't know how many of them there are!" Sam says as that's when Bobby enters.

"Yeah, we do. There's seven. Do you have any idea who we're up against?" Bobby asked as that's when Ana finally looks up and looks at her father.

"No, who?" Dean asked.

"The seven deadly sins, live and in the flesh!" Bobby says.

"What's in the box?" Dean says with a grin on his face. "Brad Pitt? Se7en? No?" He says as Ana shook her head at what he said.

"Nice try, baby." Ana says.

"Well, damn." Dean says as he looks back up. "Tough crowd." He murmurs as that's when Bobby tosses him a book. "What's this?" Dean asks.

"Binsfield's Classification of Demons'. In 1589, Binsfield ID'd of the seven sins - not just as human vices but as actual devils." Ana says.

"The family - they were touched by Sloth. And the shopper." Sam says.

"That's Envy's doing -- the customer we got in the next room. I couldn't suss it out at first, until Issac. He was touched with an awful Gluttony." Bobby says.

"I don't give a rat's ass if they're the Three Stooges or the Four Tops! I'm gonna slaughter every last one of them!" Tamara says.

"We already did it your way. You burst in there half-cocked and look what happened! These demons haven't been topside in half a millennium! We're talking medieval, Dark Ages! We've never faced anything close to this! So, we are gonna take a breath..." Bobby shouts at Tamara. "And figure out what our next move is!"

Tamara then leaves and walks out of the room, emotional, as the brothers, along with Ana and Amelia look at each other.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"So, you know who I am, huh?" Envy asked in the demon holding room.

"We do. We're not impressed." Bobby says.

"Why are you here? What are you after?" Ana asked.

"She asked you a question. What do you want?" Dean asked as Envy chuckles condescendingly, as Dean opens a flask of holy water and splashes him.

"Ya! Ahh! Ungh... We already have... what we want." Envy says.

"What's that?" Dean asked.

"We're out. We're free. Thanks to you, my kind are everywhere. I am legion, for we are many. So, me, I'm just celebrating. Have little fun."

"Fun?" Amelia asked.

"Yeah, fun. See, some people crochet. Others golf. Me? I like to see people's insides... on their outside." Envy says as Ana's nose wrinkled in disgust at what he said.

"I'm gonna put you down like a dog." Tamara says.

"Please." Envy says as he laughs. "You really think you're better than me." He says as he laughs again. "Which one of you can cast the first stone, huh? What about you, Dean? You're practically a, a walking billboard of gluttony and lust." Envy says as even Ana couldn't not agree with that. "And Tamara. All that wrath. Ohh. It's the reason you and Issac became hunters in the first place, isn't it? It's so much easier to... drink in the rage than to face what really happened all those years ago."

Tamara's face twisted in anger, as she smacks him hard not once but twice, until Dean and Bobby pull her back. "Aah! Whew!" Envy says with a laugh. "My point exactly, and you call us sins. We're not sins, man. We are natural human instinct. And you can repress and deny us all you want, but the truth is, you are just animals. Horny... greedy... hungry... violent animals. And you know what? You'll be slaughtered like animals, too." He says as there was a pause before he continued. "The others -- they're coming for me."

"Maybe, but they're not gonna find you... 'cause you'll be in Hell." Dean says as Ana didn't hesitate to do the demon ritual.

"Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica..." Ana reads as she didn't need a book as she has it engraved in her head, which gave the others to leave as Envy screams.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"I don't think we're gonna have to worry about hunting them." Bobby says.

"What does that mean?" Sam asked.

"I think this joker's right. They're gonna be hunting us. And they're not gonna quit easy." Bobby says

"You guys, why don't you take Tamara and head for the hills? I'll stay back, slow them down, and buy you a little time." Dean says.

"You're insane, Dean. Just forget about it, okay?" Sam asked.

"Sam's right." Bobby says.

"There's six of them, guys. We're outmanned; we're outgunned. We'll be dead by dawn." Dean says.

"Maybe, but... there's no place to run that they won't find us." Bobby says.

"Look, if we're going down, we're going down together, alright?" Sam says.

"Well let's not make it easy for them." Dean says, as from the other room, Engy gives a final scream, the house shakes, and a gust blows out the candles. Ana comes into the other room.

"Demons out of the guy." Ana says.

"And the guy?" Sam asked.

"Long story short, he didn't make it." Ana says.

"That's my girl." Den says as he pressed a kiss on the top of her head.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean is seated on the floor with a row of candles behind him, loading a shotgun. Sam is across the room filling flasks with holy water along with Mia. He looks over at Dean who has Ana sitting beside him, who is looking back at him. They watch each other silently for a moment until the lights begin to flicker.

Dean and Ana cock their shotguns and stand up. "Party time." Ana says, as outside a demon in Issac's body approaches.

"Tamara! Tamara! Tamara! Tamara! Help me! Please!" Issac yells as anguished, Tamara looks back at Bobby, and out the window again. "Tamara! I got away, but I'm hurt bad! I need help!"

"It's not him. It's one of those demons; it's possessing his corpse." Ana says to Tamra, as Issac pounds on the door.

"Baby! Why won't you let me in? You left me back there. How could you do that? We swore... at that lake in Michigan. Remember? We swore we would never leave each other!"

"How did he know that?" Tamara asks as she sobs as she turns to the others.

"Steady, Tamara. Steady, Tamara..." Bobby says.

"You just gonna leave me out here? You just gonna let me die?! I guess that's what you do, dear! Like that night those things came to our house... came... for our daughter! You just let her die, too." Issac says.

"You son of a bitch!" Tamara screams as she pushes the door open, breaking the salt line and tackles Issac down the steps. She lands on top of him and raises the Palo Santo stake. "You're not Issac!" She says as she plunges the wood deep into his chest, as it sizzles and he screams. One by one each of the other demons goes after the group, then a demon kicks a door in clear across the room.

"That's Pride." Ana says to Amelia and Sam, as the demon who is a young man in a business suit.

"Here's Johnny!" Pride says, as he advances confidently as Sam backs up, then stops, holding up a hand to hold back the two demons flanking him. He looks up to the devil's trap on the ceiling and smirks. "Come on. You really think something like that is gonna fool someone like me? I mean, me?"

Pride knocks Ana and Sam to the ground then pulls Ana up with an arm wrapped around her throat and begins strangling her. "Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incuriso infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica...ergo...perditionis venenum propinare. Vade, satana inventor et magister omnis fallaciae... hostis humanae salutis. Humiliare sub potenti manu dei. Contremisce et effuge. invocato a nobis sancto et terrible nomine. Quem inferi tremunt... Ab insidis, diaboli, libera nos, domine. Ut ecclesiam tuam secura tibi facias, libertate sevire, te rogamus, audi nos. Ut inimicos sanctae ecclesiae humiliare digneris, to rogamus audi.." Amelia recites the demon ritual, as just when the demon black smoke came out of Pride and Greed the blonde woman from earlier plunges a knife into Greed's neck along with Pride's and upwards in their mouth, through his neck, he gargles, opening his mouth and shoving the knife in it, and then collapses in a shower and demonic energy.

"Who the hell are you?" Amelia asked.

"I'm the girl who just saved your ass." The woman says as Sam goes into the hall to follow her, but she is already gone.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The next morning, Sam and Dean pile the corpses of the demons that didn't survive into a shallow pit and begin pouring salt and fuel over them. Several yards away, Tamara is standing in front of a funeral pyre, as it is Issac's. "Think she's gonna be alright?" Mia asked.

"No, definitely not." Ana says, as that's when Bobby comes out of the house, looking exhausted.

"Well, you looked like hell warmed over." Dean says.

"You try exorcising all night and see how you feel?" Bobby bit back to Dean which made Ana smile.

"Any survivors?" Ana asked.

"Well, the pretty girl and the heavy guy, they'll make it. Lifetime of therapy bills ahead, but still..." Bobby says as Ana nods her head.

"That's more than you can say for these poor bastards." Dean says.

"Bobby, that knife -- what kind of blade can kill a demon?" Sam asked.

"Probably a demon blade or something like that." Ana says as Sam turns to her and gives her a look. "What? It's in the title, it's a blade and those are demons, keep up with the program." Ana says.

"Yesterday, I would have said there was no such thing." Bobby says.

"I'm just gonna ask again -- who was that masked chick? Actually, the more troubling question would be, how could a girl fight better than you?" Dean asked.

"Three demons, Dean. At once." Sam says.

"Hey, whatever it takes to get you through the night, pal." Dean says as he slaps Sam on the shoulder.

"Yeah, well, if you want a troubling question, I got one for you." Sam says.

"What's that?" Dean asked.

"If we let out the seven deadly sins, what else did we let out?" Sam asked, as there was a pause before anyone said anything.

"You're right. That is troubling." Dean says, as he lights a matchbook and tosses it into the pyre.

Later the bonfires have settled down and they prepare to leave. "See you guys around." Tamara says.

"Tamara?" Bobby says as she stops. "The world just got a lot scarier. Be careful."

"You too." Tamara says as she gets in her car and drives off.

"Keep your eyes peeled for omens. I'll do the same." Bobby says.

"Noted." Ana says.

"Wait, Bobby. We can win this war. Right?" Sam asked.

Bobby pauses not answering the question that he asked, during which they all look uncomfortable and worried. "Catch you on the next one." Bobby says as he turns to leave.

"So, where to?" Sam asked.

"Uh, I don't know. I was thinking Louisiana maybe." Sam says.

"Little early for Mardi Gras, isn't it?" Dean asked as Ana shrugged her shoulders as Dean had an arm around Ana.

"Listen, I was talking to Tamara, and she mentioned this hoodoo priestess outside of Shreveport that might be able to help us out. You know, with your -- with your demon deal." Sam says.

"Nah." Dean says.

"Nah? What does that mean 'nah'?" Sam asked his brother.

"Sam, no hoodoo spell's gonna break this deal, alright? It's a goose chase." Dean says.

"Yeah, but we don't know that Dean--" Sam says but he got cut off by Dean.

"Yes, we do. Forget it. She can't help." Dean says.

"Look, it's worth--" Sam says but Dean speaks over his brother.

"We're not going, and that's that. What about we lay low in Portland or something?" Dean asked, as Dean smacks Sam on the arm lightly, and turns to walk away. Sam grabs his sleeve and turns Dean to face him.

"You know what? I've had it. I've been bending over backwards trying to be nice to you, and... I don't care anymore." Sam says.

"That didn't last long." Dean says.

"Yeah, well, you know what? I've been busting my ass trying to keep you alive, Dean, and you act like you couldn't care less. What, you got some kind of death wish or something?" Sam asked.

"No, it's not like that." Dean says.

"Then what's it like, Dean?" Sam asked.

"Sam--" Dean says but Sam cut him off.

"Please, tell me." Sam says.

"We trap the crossroads demon, trick it, try to welch our way out of the deal in any way?" Dean says as he's close on Sam's face, who looks stunned. "You die. Okay? You die. Those are the terms. There's no way out of it. If you try to find a way, so help me god, I'm gonna stop you."

Sam sighs before he talks. "How could you make that deal, Dean?" Sam asked.

"'Cause I couldn't live with you dead. Couldn't do it." Dean says.

"So, what, now I live, and you die?" Sam asked, which felt like a punch in Ana's gut. The reminder of what would happen in a year, she'd be all alone without him.

"That's the general idea, yeah." Dean says.

"Well, you're a hypocrite, Dean. How did you feel when you found out Dad had sold his soul? 'Cause I remember, you were twisted, and broken. And now you go and do the same thing. To me." Sam says as there was a pause before he continued. "What you did was selfish."

"Yeah, you're right. It was selfish. But I'm okay with that." Dean says.

"I'm not." Sam says.

"Tough. After everything I've done for this family, I think I'm entitled." Dean says as there was a pause before he continued. "Truth is, I'm tired, Sam. I don't know, it's like there's a, a light at the end of the tunnel."

"It's hellfire, baby." Ana says.

"For the first time in a long time, I feel good. I got a year to live. I'd like to make the most of it. So, what do you say, we kill some evil sons of bitches, and we raise a little hell, huh?" Dean says as he smiles and nods to Sam and walks towards the car, as he pressed a kiss to the top of Ana's head.

"You're unbelievable." Sam says.

"Very true." Dean says as he pauses for a moment and smiles, as he opens the door for Ana, and then gets in. He starts the car, as Sam walks frustratedly, to the passenger seat and gets in as Amelia gets in beside Sam.

"Can we get food?" Ana asked, which made Sam groan at what she said.

"Seriously?" Sam asked.

"What?" Ana asked.

"Sam, leave the princess alone otherwise you're gonna be Mia's roommate in the backseat.

"I won't complain." Amelia says.
