{bad day at black rock}

The four of them are in the impala as Dean is driving, as Amelia is cranky as she had given up trying to fall asleep, with the brother's arguing about Ruby. Amelia looked over and sees that Ana is asleep. How can she be asleep during this is what Amelia wants to know.

"Because Demon, that's why. I mean the second you find out this Ruby chick, is a Demon, you go for the holy water! You don't chat!" Dean says.

"No, one was chatting, Dean." Sam says.

"Oh yeah? Then why didn't you send her ass back to Hell?!" Dean exclaims.

"Because - because she said, she might be able to help us out!" Sam says, as Dean turned to Sam.

"How?" Dean asked, as there was a pause. "No really, Sam, how? How could she possibly help us?"

"She told me she could help you, okay?" Sam says, as Dean furrowed his eyebrows. "Help you out of the crossroads deal." Dean looks at Sam incredulously.

"What is wrong with you, huh? She's lying, you gotta know that don't you. She knows what your weakness is -- it's me." Dean says, as there was a small pause, before he continued. "What else did she say?" He asked, as Sam is silent. "Dude?"

"Nothing." Sam says, as he looked at Dean. "Nothing, okay?! Look, I'm not an idiot Dean, I'm not talking about trusting her, I'm talking about using her. I mean, we're at war, right? And we don't know jack about the enemy, we don't know where they are, we don't what they're doing. I mean, hell, we don't know what they want. Now this Ruby girl knows more than we will ever find out on our own. Now, yes, it is a risk, I know that, but we need to take it."

"You're okay right, I mean, you're feeling, okay?" Dean asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. Why are you always asking me that?" Sam asked as a phone rang. Sam sighs and reaches for his own.

"It's not mine or Ana's." Amelia says.

"It's not mine." Sam says, as Dean goes for his.

"Nope." Dean says as there was a pause, before he continued. "Check the glove compartment, it's Dads."

"Why do you have his phone?" Amelia asked.

"I keep it charged up in case any of his old contacts call." Dean says.

"Well, you're in luck this time." Amelia grumbled sarcastically, as she is still cranky.

Sam opens the glove compartment and finds John's phone and answers it. "Hello? Yes... this is Edgar Casey. No! No, no, no, don't call the police. I'll handle this myself. Thanks. You know, can you just uh, can you just lock it back up for me? Great. Uhm, I - I uh, I don't have my - my book in front of me, do you - do you have the address so I can... sure, okay, go ahead. Right, thanks a lot." Sam says, as he ends the call. "Did, Dad ever tell you he kept a container at a storage place?" Sam asked.

"What?" Dean asked.

"Outside of Buffalo?" Sam says.

"No way." Dean says.

"Yeah, and someone just broke into it." Sam says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"Man..." Dean says as Ana leaned on his shoulder as he had an arm around her. Dean woke her up when they got here.

"What?" Sam asked.

"Just Dad. You know him and his secrets. Spend all this time with the guy and it's like we barely even know the man." Dean says, as Ana couldn't help but agree more on that.

"Well, we're about to learn something." Amelia says, as DDean pressed a kiss on the top of Ana's head.

The four of them exit the elevator and find the storage container. Dean unlocks the padlock and opens the sliding door, the four of them have flashlights at the ready. On the dusty floor of the container is a symbol drawn in red, along with several bloody footprints.

"No demons allowed." Amelia says.

"Blood. Check this out." Dean says, as he holds a tripwire which is attached to a shotgun hidden in a large animal skull.

"Whoever broke in here got tagged." Sam says.

"Dear old Dad. I got two sets of boot reads here, looks like it was a two-man job. And our friend with the buckshot in him looks like he kept walking." Dean says.

"So, what's the deal? Dad would do work here or something?" Sam asked.

"Livin' the high life, as usual." Dean says as the four of them venture further inside. Dean aims his flashlight on the skull and shakes his head laughing. Sam looks over a desk while, Dean picks up a trophy from a shelf, he scrapes the dust off.

"1995." Dean says.

"No way! That's my Division Championship soccer trophy. I can't believe he kept this." Sam says.

"Yeah, it was probably about the closest you ever came to being a boy." Dean says as he wanders over to another find.

"Hey, I found a shotgun." Ana says as Dean, walks over to Ana and sees that she has a shotgun in her hand.

"Oh, wow! It is my first sawed-off. I made it made myself. Sixth grade." Dean says as he laughs and pumps the shotgun. Sam moves further into the container and opens a door to a back room. The chain on the door has been cut.

"Not bad." Ana says, as Dean has a grin on his face, as he pressed a kiss on her forehead.

"That all 'not bad'."

"Apparently you haven't looked in my closest at Dad's." Ana says as she walked away leaving Dean confused as he laughs.

"What is something you can't do?"

"Be on airplanes." Ana says without hesitation as Dean nodded his head.

"Make sense." Dean says to her.

The four of them enter the back room with their flashlights. "Holy crap. Look at this, he had land mines... Which they didn't take. Or the guns. I guess they knew what they were after, huh?" Dean says.

Amelia spots boxes inscribed with symbols on a far shelf. "Hey, guys. Check this out. See these symbols? That's binding magic. These are curse boxes." Amelia says.

"Curse boxes? Th--they're supposed to keep the evil mojo in, right, kinda like the Pandora deal?" Dean asked.

"Yeah. They're built to contain the power of the cursed object." Ana says as she got a better look at the boxes. "Dad made these boxes."

"Well, Dad's journal did mention a whole bunch of stuff, you know? Dangerous hexed items, fetishes... but he never did say where they ended up." Dean says.

"Yeah, well this must be his toxic waste dump." Sam says.

Ana notices a rectangular shape in the dust and runs her finger along the dust, she stands up. "One box is missing." Ana says.

"Well, maybe they didn't open it." Dean says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The impala pulls up in the alley beside the apartment block, next to another car. Ana leans out and checks the car's plates. "Connecticut. Last three digits 880."

"Yep, that's it." Sam says to her.

"Should've blacked out their plates before they parked in front of the security camera." Amelia says as Ana nodded her head at what she said, knowing that she isn't wrong.

The four of them break into the apartment, armed and they sneak inside. A minute later, they burst into the room, with their guns drawn. "FREEZE, FREEZE! NOBODY MOVE!" Dean yells.

"Don't move!" Amelia says.

"DON'T MOVE!" Dean says.

"What is this?" One of the guys says.

"STOP!" Sam says.

"Alright, give us the box, and please tell me that you didn't--" Dean says as he got cut off by Ana.

"Oh, they did." Ana says.

"You opened it?!" Dean exclaims, as he shoves one of the guys against the wall.

"Are you guys' cops?" The guy asked.

"Huh?" Dean asked.

"ARE YOU GUYS' COPS?" The guy asked louder.

"What was in the box?" Dean asked, as the guy glanced over at the coffee table where the rabbit's foot sits, as Dean follows his gaze.

"Oh, what is that thing?" Dean asked.

The guy uses Dean's distraction to knock the gun from Dean's hand. It falls to the floor, causing it to fire. Ana and Amelia yelp as they move aside, as the bullet ricochets off a radiator and hits Sam's gun, causing him to drop it. The same bullet then ricochets again and breaks a lamp. Sam and the other guy both go for his gun. The other guy pushes Sam into Dean, he falls back onto the coffee table, launching the rabbit's foot into the air.

"Sorry!" Sam says to Dean.

The other man, throws himself at Sam, sending them both to the floor, and then starts punching Sam in the face. The other guy goes for Dean's gun, as he picks it up and aims it for Sam, he hits Dean who had just gotten up, square under the chin, knocking him down again. Ana wants to go to Dean but is afraid she will get caught in whatever is happening, and she doesn't want to be next, so that's why her and Mia are in the corner.

The other man is trying to strangle Sam, as he desperately tries to reach for the rabbit's foot, which is just out of his reach. Sam manages to grab it then knocks the man's hands away from his throat and kicks him back into a corner as Sam gets up.

"Dean, I got it!" Sam says, as the guy that's been with Dean, as his name is Wayne; he moves forward and cocks Dean's gun in Sam's face.

"No, you don't." Wayne says.

The guy that's been with Sam, his name is Grossman, he gets his hands on Sam's gun while Wayne pulls the trigger on Sam, unfortunately for him the gun jams. Wayne panics and tries to clear the chamber, while Dean gets up and tries to stop Wayne. Wayne is surprised and stumbles back, tripping over a rug and falling back over the couch. He knocks himself out, as Sam and Dean look at each other confused. Grossman gets up and tries to point the gun at Sam.

"Sam!" Amelia calls out as Grossman moves, the books on the bookshelves behind him suddenly fall off and onto his head, knocking him out cold. Sam's gun flies out of his hand and Sam catches it, as Dean looks astounded.

"That was a lucky break!" Dean says, as that's when Ana and Amelia come out of their not-so-hiding spot which is a corner away from the action that was happening.

That's when Amelia gets a good look at what was in Sam's hand. "Is that a rabbit's foot?" She asked, as Sam holds it up.

"I think it is." Sam says, as Ana is confused.

"Why would--" Ana says before she sighs.

"What?" Dean asked her.

"That's a cursed rabbit's foot." Ana says as Dean is confused.

"What's that?"

"What do you think? Does it sound jolly?" Ana asked as he gave her a look.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean and Ana, walk out of a restaurant parking lot, as Amelia and Sam were in the impala. Dean gave her a quick kiss on the lips, as they got into the car, he has a paper bag in his hand, as Ana has a to-go cup in her hand, filled with Dr. Pepper of course, along with a slice of pie, which is off limits from Dean. She had already hit his hand three times before they even got out of the restaurant, because he kept wanting to get her pie.

Dean takes something out of the bag. "I'm not finding anything on it in Dad's journal." Sam says, as Amelia is sitting behind Sam, as Ana is in her usual seat, which is behind Dean. Dean holds up several scratch cards in front of Sam. "Dean, come on." Sam says.

"What? Hey, that was my gun he was aiming at your head, and my gun don't jam. So, that was a lucky break. Not to mention them taking themselves out, also a lucky break. Here, scratch one. Come on, girls, you two." Dean says as he handed Ana and Amelia a scratch card.

"I'm eating." Ana says with a mouth full of her pie that she had gotten and is banning Dean of having.

"Well, eat and scratch, baby." Dean says as that's when she thumped his head. "Ow, stop it." Dean says as Ana blew raspberries at Dean, as Amelia smirked at the two, finding it amusing if she is being honest. "Sam, scratch and win!" He says as he hands over a coin to the three of them, as Sam gives in and starts scratching the card.

"Dean, it's gotta be cursed somehow. Otherwise, Dad wouldn't have locked it up." Sam says as Ana sighs, as she has her fork in her mouth as she is scratching her card.

"I told you it was cursed, and yet, no one listened to me." Ana grumbles under her breath, as Sam hands the card back.

"1,200... you just won 1,200 dollars!" Dean says as he laughs and hollers. "I don't know, baby, it doesn't seem that cursed to me!" Dean says as Ana sighs as she knows how these things go and she ain't touching that rabbits' foot under any circumstances, as Dean hands Sam another card expectantly.

A couple minutes later, Dean lays out six scratch cards on the hood of the car, calculating their winnings "Oh, man!" Dean says as Sam is on the phone with Bobby, as Ana is laying on the hood also, beside the cards that are next to her.

"Now look, Bobby, we didn't know." Sam says as he's on the phone with Bobby.

"You touched it? Damn it, Sam!" Bobby says.

"Well, Dad never told us about this thing. I mean, you knew about his storage place at Black Rock?" Sam asked.

"I told you dad, built the cursed boxes, but no one listened to me. What am I a broken record?" Ana says as she sighs. "I swear, men don't listen to me."

"Listen, you got a serious problem." Bobby says as Sam notices something under a newspaper on the ground, as it's a gold watch. "That rabbit's foot ain't no dime store notion." Sam picks up the watch, and turns and shows it to Dean, as Dean mouths, 'awesome'. "It's real Hoodoo, Old World, stuff. Made by a Baton Rouge conjure woman about a hundred years ago."

"It's a hell of a luck charm." Sam says.

"It's not a luck charm, unless you want to die." Ana says.

"Touch it, you own it. You own it, sure, you can get a run of good luck to beat the Devil. But you lose, it, that luck turns. It turns so bad that you're dead inside a week." Bobby says.

"Well, so I won't lose it, Bobby." Sam says as Ana sighs.

"EVERYBODY LOSES IT!" Ana and Bobby exclaim, even if Ana can't hear what her dad is saying.

"Well, then how do we break the curse?" Sam asked.

"You can't." Ana says.

"Ana says we can't break it." Sam says.

"Well, she's not wrong. Lemme look through my library and make some calls, just sit tight." Bobby says as he ends the call.

"Dude! We're up fifteen grand!" Dean says as Sam smiles halfly, looking worried.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The four of them enter a restaurant. "Don't worry, Bobby'll find a way to break it. Until then, I say we hit Vegas, pull a little Rain Man. You can be Rain Man." Dean says as he has his arm around Ana.

"Look, we just lay low until Bobby calls back, okay?" Sam says.

"Uh, table for four, please." Ana says to the restaurant owner.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" The restaurant owner says, as an alarm goes off, as Ana indistinctively grabbed onto Dean, as he moved her behind him, as he held her hand.

"It's exciting, I know." Dean says.

"You are the one millionth guest of the Biggerson's Restaurant family!" The restaurant owner says as the staff start singing and taking photographs. Balloons and streamers fall from the ceiling, Sam and Amelia look embarrassed, while Dean looks ecstatic, and Ana is hiding behind Dean.

Minutes later, Sam is on his laptop, Amelia is drinking a chocolate shake and Ana is eating another piece of pie, and Dean is eating a bowl of ice cream. "Bobby's right, this lore goes way back. Pure Hoodoo. You can't just cut one off any rabbit. Has to be in a cemetery, under a full moon, and on a Friday the thirteenth."

"I think from now on, we only go to places with Biggerson's, Dean says as Ana has her head resting on his shoulder, as he pressed a kiss on the top of his head. A waitress approaches their table with more coffee.

"Can I freshen you up?" The waitress says as Sam nods his head.

"Yeah, thanks." Sam says as the waitress pours Sam more coffee, but smiling at him, as Amelia rolls her eyes at the situation. Since they have gotten to the table, all the waitress has been doing is flirting with Sam, and Amelia doesn't like it. At all. The thing is, that she doesn't even like Sam like that.

There isn't something between them, as they are strictly friends. Then she guesses 'strictly friends' don't sleep together and have sex, on the same night. But other than that, there's nothing between them, and there never will be.

The waitress is obviously flirting with Sam, as Amelia gives her the stink eye as she rolled her eyes once again. The waitress finishes cleaning up and walks away, looking over her shoulder as she goes and smiles at Sam. She growls under her breath, but it was too quiet that no one heard it, as her wolf claws slowly came out, but no one noticed as Ana was eating her pie.

Sam goes to pick up his coffee mug, knocks the cup over and manages to spill it all over the table and himself which made Ana look at him like he's crazy, and he jumps out of his seat. "Oh, jeez..." Sam says as he turns and a waiter with a full tray crash straight into him, sending things flying and causing a scene which made the other three look at him as Amelia just slurped on her straw, as the remains of her chocolate shake were gone. "Sorry!" Sam says to the waiter as he turns back to Dean.

"Uh, how is any of that good? Which was honestly hilarious in my opinion." Amelia says as Sam gives her a bitch face look, and she only smirks at what he said. "What? It's funny." She mumbles, as he searches his jacket pocket and comes up empty, as the rabbit's foot is now gone.

"Son of a bitch." Dean mumbled under his breath and mainly to himself.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The four of them rush out of the restaurant. "Come on!" Dean says, as Sam then falls flat on his face, and Dean stops walking and turns around to his brother. Amelia tries not to laugh at what happened to Sam.

"Ow..." Sam says.

"So, what your luck turns bad now?" Dean asked as Sam's jeans are torn at both knees and are bloody and raw.

"I tried telling you that, and yet no one listened to me." Ana says.

"I wonder how bad?" Dean asked as Ana gave him a look.

"Well, let's just say that it could possibly, maybe sorta involve Sam being dead, if this keeps on going." Ana says, as Dean turned to Ana.

"Yeah, that doesn't sound jolly." Dean says as Ana sighs.

"Yeah, pretty much." Ana says to him.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Grossman is holding a photograph of himself and Wayne, as he holds up a bottle of Tequila and sadly toasts the memory of Wayne. "Adios, compadre." He pours a lug of tequila on the floor, then takes a large swig. The door opens to the apartment, as the four of them walk in, as Sam hands back.

"Oh, man. What do you want?" Grossman says as he sees the four of them.

"We heard about your friend. That's bad luck." Ana says.

"Piss off." Grossman says.

"We know someone hired you to steal the rabbit's foot, it was a woman." Amelia says.

"Oh yeah? How do you know that?" Grossman asked.

"Because she just stole it back from us." Dean says, as Grossman laughs.

"Listen man, this is seri--" Sam says as he steps forward and trips on a wire on the floor, mid-sentence, pulling a CD player off a shelf, and sending it and Sam crashing to the ground. Sam takes out the lamp as he goes, as Amelia tries not to laugh, as she looked away.

"Sam, you okay?" Ana asked, as she covered her mouth with her hand to get herself to stop laughing.

"Yeah, I'm good." Sam says from the floor behind the couch, as he pulls himself up.

"You don't sound so sure, that's all." Amelia says as Ana nudges her arm.

"Bite me." Sam says.

"What am I a vampire?" Amelia asked as Ana snorted a little at what she said, as Sam is giving Amelia another bitch face look.

"I want you to tell us her name." Dean says to Grossman.

"Screw you." Grossman says to Dean.

"It wasn't a freak accident that killed your friend." Ana says as she took another step towards Dean.

"What?" Grossman asked.

"It was the rabbit's foot." Dean says.

"You're crazy." Grossman says.

"You know, we're not. You saw what happened, what it did. All the flukes, all the luck. When you lose the foot that luck goes sour. That's what killed your friend, and Sam is next. And who knows how many more innocent people after that, now if you don't help us stop this thing, that puts those deaths on your head." Ana says, as that's when Grossman looks worried.

"Now, I can't read people, and I get it. You're a thief, and a scumbag, that's fine. But you're not a killer, are you?" Dean says, as Grossman shakes his head.

"No." He says barely above a whisper.

"Good, now tell us the woman's name and you will never see us again." Ana says to the man.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The four of them exit the apartment block, Dean's phone starts ringing, as Dean answers the phone, him, Ana and Amelia step over a large wad of bubblegum on the ground. "Hello?"

Sam follows the three of them and there is a squishing sound. He gets a deeply frustrated look on his face as he lifts off his shoe off of the bubblegum. "Dean, great news. Wasn't easy, but I found a heavyweight cleaning ritual that should do that."

"Bobby, that's uh, great, 'cept Sam, uh..." Dean trails off as he looks over at Sam and grimaces when Sam lifts his shoe. "...Sam lost the foot."

"He what?!" Bobby exclaims.

"Bobby, Bobby, listen. This, uh chick stole it from him. I'm serious, in her mid 20's, and she was sharp you know, good enough at the con to play us." Dean says, as Sam is still trying to scrape the bubblegum off his shoe using a broken storm drain grating. "And she only gave the guy she hired a name, probably an alias or something. Luigi or something?"

"Lugosi." Ana says as she and Amelia haven't taken their eyes off of Sam, as they are finding this more amusing than anything.

"Lugosi? Lugos -- aw crap, it's probably Bela." Bobby says, as Sam moves his foot too hard, dislodging his shoe. It drops into the drain with a splash as he tries to retrieve it.

"Bela Lugosi? That's cute." Dean says as Ana snickered.

"Her actual name is Bela Talbot." Ana says.

"Annie says her name is Bela Talbot." Dean says.

"That's because it is. Crossed paths with her once or twice." Bobby says.

"Well, she knew about the rabbit's foot. Is she a Hunter?" Dean asks.

"More like a thief, but she knows her way around the territory." Ana says, as Dean nods his head.

"Last I heard she was in the Middle East someplace." Bobby says.

"Ah, I guess she's back." Dean says.

"Which means serious bad luck for you four." Bobby says.

"That's comforting, Dad." Ana grumbled, as Dean's lips curled up a little at her comment.

"But, if it is Bela... at least I might know some folks who know where to find her." Bobby says.

"Thanks, Bobby." Dean says.

"Just... look out for each other, ya idjits." Bobby says as he hangs up, as Dean and Ana turn back to Sam, who looks thoroughly dejected.

"What is it now?" Ana asks.

"I lost my shoe." Sam says as Dean and Ana both look down at Sam's sock-clad foot and sighs, annoyed. Dean rolls his eyes and turns away as Ana and Amelia try not to laugh, at what happened with Sam's shoe, as said Sam hangs his head in defeat.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The impala pulls into the parking lot of the motel, and it stops just inside the entrance. "Alright, Bobby thanks. Hey, we owe ya. Another one." Dean says on the phone, then he hands up. "Alright, Bobby's got it on a pretty good authority that this Bela chick lives in Queens. So, it'll take me and Annie about two hours to get there."

"So, what are we doing here?" Sam asks.

"You are staying here 'cause we don't want your bad luck getting us killed." Ana says as Dean drives the impala into the main parking lot.

Minutes later Dean unlocks the door and leads Sam inside and turns on a light as he goes inside.

"What am I even supposed to do, Dean?" Sam asks, as Amelia sits on one of the beds.

"Nothing! Nothing. Come here. I don't want you doing anything. I want you to sit right here..." Dean says as he pulls a chair into the middle of the room. "...and don't move, okay? Don't turn on the light, don't turn off the light. Don't even scratch your nose." Dean says as Sam sits in the chair, and watches Dean and Ana leave, Ana locks the door behind her. Sam wrinkles his nose a few times before risking a scratch.

"Didn't Dean say to not scratch your nose?" Amelia asked Sam as he looked at her with a look, that says, 'not helping'. "What? Just saying."

"It was itchy." He says like a whiny child that got declined cookies which made Amelia smile at him.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Bela's apartment is richly decorated and contains varied valuable artifacts. Bela is on the phone she walks down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Because you shook on one point five. Well, maybe I should just take it somewhere else?" Bela asked as she pets her cat that is sitting on the counter. "Don't threaten me, Luke. Despite your reputation, you don't scare me..." Bela says as her security monitor's register Dean and Ana approaching but she is not watching the camera. "Well, I'm glad you see it that way. I'll see you at the airstrip in an hour." Bela says as she ends the call, as she picks up the rabbit's foot with the kitchen tongs, as the cat hisses.

Bela pauses in front of the security monitors, as Dean and Ana moves off-screen, when she glances at the monitors, the couple is no longer on screen. Bela puts the rabbit's foot down and opens the wine cooler and extracts a gun from it, before moving through the living room towards the front door. The door is ajar. As she approaches, she notices a beeping noise. The alarm system panel is flashing error. A bright pink Post-it is stuck to the panel that reads: turn around, in Ana's handwriting. That's when the couple appears behind Bela, with their gun drawn, Bela turns around and draws her own gun. "You left without a tip." Dean says as Bela smirks, as Dean raises his eyebrows, as Ana narrows her eyes at the Talbot woman.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Sam rocks back and forth on the chair, bored and not to mention his body is stiff. Suddenly the AC unit in the wall in front of Sam and Amelia starts making a clunking, grinding sound, as smoke starts to pour out. "That's not supposed to happen, right?" Amelia asks.

"No, it isn't." Sam says as he gets up and cautiously approaches the unit. The unit catches on fire. Sam grabs the comforter off one of the beds and attempts to put out the fire with it. When Sam thinks he's got it, he gets up, only to find his jacket sleeve is now on fire.

Amelia slowly backs away, and just when Sam uses the curtain to put it out. The curtain unfortunately rips and falls away, revealing Kubrick and Creedy staring in through the window. They hadn't noticed Amelia as she was in the closet. Sam falls back, knocking himself out on the floor, Kubrick smiles and looks to the sky in thanks, as Amelia sticks out her tongue at them.

The couple along with Bela are engaged in a stand-off. "You're gonna give it back." Ana says.

Bela laughs. "Sweetie, no I'm not." Bela says.

"Yeah, we'll see about that, bitch." Ana says.

"Name's Bela." Bela says.

"I will still call you bitch, bitch." Ana says as she cocks her gun at the Talbot woman. "You know that rabbit's foot is cursed, right?"

"You'd be surprised what some people would pay for something like that." Bela says as Ana rolls her eyes. "There's a lucrative market out there. A lot of money to be made. You Hunters' with all those amulets and talismans you use to stop those big bad monsters. Any one of them could put your children's, children through college." The Talbot woman explains.

"So, you know the truth, about what's really going on out there, and this is what you decide to do with it? You become a thief?" Dean asks the Talbot woman.

"I procure unique items for a select clientele." Bela says.

"Yeah, that's what a thief is, honey." Ana sneers to the Talbot woman.

"No, a great thief." Bela says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Creedy is restraining Sam to a chair with duct tape, as Sam comes to from knocking himself out. Amelia is still hiding in the closet as Creedy or Kubrick still haven't noticed that she is also in the motel room. "Oh, he's awake!" Creedy says.

"Back with us, eh?" Kubrick asks.

"We didn't even have to touch you. You just went all spastic, and knocked yourself out? It was like watching Jerry Lewis try to stack chairs!" Creedy says.

"Who are you? What do you wa--" Sam says as Kubrick snaps his fingers in Sam's face, as Sam looks confused.

"I used to think your friend Gordon sent me." Kubrick says.

"Gordon? Oh, come on!" Sam says like a whiny teenager, which makes Amelia smile.

"Yeah, because he asked me to track you, Dean and Anastasia down, and put a bullet in your guys' brain." Kubrick says.

"Great. That sounds like him." Sam says.

"But as it turns out... I'm on a mission from God." Kubrick says as he strikes Sam across the face as Amelia flinches when he did that to him.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them are still having their stand-off. "Look, bitch, Sam, he touched the foot, and when you took it from him, his luck was shit." Ana says.

"I know how it works." The Talbot woman says.

"So, then you know he's gonna die unless we can destroy it." Dean says.

"Oh... you can have the foot." Bela says insincere, as both Dean and Ana looks surprised. "For one point five million."

"I only have a hundred bucks sorry. How'd you even find the damn thing? Stuck in the back of some storage place, middle of nowhere." Ana says as Bela looks over her shoulder, as Dean and Ana follow her gaze to a Ouija Board and planchette on the mantle.

"I just asked a few of the ghosts of the people that it killed. They were attuned into its location." Bela says.

"So, you're only out for yourself, huh? It's all about number one?" Dean asks.

"Being a Hunter is so much more noble? A bunch of obsessed, revenge-driven sociopaths trying to save a world that can't be saved?" Bela asks.

"Well, careful I think you just offended every hunter out there." Ana sarcastically says to the Talbot woman.

"We're all going to Hell. Might as well enjoy the ride." The Talbot woman says.

"I actually agree with you there." Dean says as Ana turns her head momentarily to look at Dean, she took a breath as she looked back at Bela. "Anywho, this has been charming but uh look at the time. Oh, and this..." Dean says as he reveals the rabbit's foot in his hand, as Bela looks pissed. "Looks like you're not the only one with sticky fingers. If it's any consolation. I think you're a truly awful person."

Bela fires at Dean and misses completely, she fires again which got Ana on her stomach. She fired once more which the bullet completely ricochets around breaking several objects and hitting the Ouija Board. Dean chuckles and holds out the rabbit's foot to taunt Bela and makes a run for the door with Ana behind him as she is clutching onto her stomach with a wince. Bela fires again at Dean and Ana's retreating form, but the bullet again ricocheting around and destroying some objects. The Siamese cat runs off and Bela ducks, as Dean and Ana escape.

Ana tried to keep up as she was putting pressure on the bullet wound on her stomach. She continues to try to follow him and just before she got out of the apartment door, heading towards the impala now, that's when Ana blacked out and lost consciousness.

When Ana came to she was in the impala as she was in the backseat as her head was on some jackets as a pillow. Her stomach hurts more than she can think of, she had a bandana in her mouth, as Dean dabbed the whiskey on a rag and wiped the blood, which made Ana whimper with the gag in her mouth.

"Shh... it's okay, sweetheart." Dean says as he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on her nose. After he pulled away, that's when he grabbed some tweezers, and sterilized them, that's when Ana softly whimpers. "I know, I know, baby." He says to her reassuring her.

When Dean put the now sterilized tweezers in her stomach that's when she whimpers, as Dean clasped onto the tweezers tightly while being careful as he pulled the bullet out. The bullet was a 9mm sized bullet which is used in handguns. The pain was now unbearable right now, because she had nothing to numb the pain. Dean knew that he had a job of getting the bullet out of Ana before it could get infected, but he still felt bad as he should be the one comforting her not taking the damn bullet out of her stomach. Thank God, the bullet didn't hit any internal organs, so that was a good thing, it was fairly easy of getting out.

"This part will sting baby." Dean says to her as he grabbed the same rag that he used the whiskey the first time and dabbed some more whiskey on the wound which made Ana instinctively grab onto Dean's hand as she gave it a tight squeeze. He knew that she was in pain and scared, as he gently brushed his thumb over her knuckles.

When he was done playing doctor on Ana as her stomach had some bandages to cover the wound until it healed. He put the stuff away and brought her into his arms as she rested her head on his shoulder, he pressed a soft kiss on her cheek as he comforted her. "It's okay, babygirl." He whispers to her as that's when she fell asleep.

Creedy throws a glass of water in Sam's face. Sam's cheek is bruised, and his nose is bloody. Sam shakes the water off while Kubrick watches sitting on the same bed that Amelia had sat on before Dean and Ana have left, as Sam sighs. "You were a part of that demon plan to open the gate, weren't you?" Kubrick asks.

"We did everything we could to stop it." Sam says.

"Lie, lie, lie! You were in on it. You know what their next move is too, don't you?" Kubrick says.

"No, I don't, okay? You're wrong about all of this." Sam says.

"Where are they gonna hit us next?" Kubrick asks as Sam sighs and stays silent, Amelia flinches as Kubrick strikes Sam across the face again as Sam exhales. "WHERE?! Gordon told me about you, Sam. About your powers. You're some kind of weirdo psycho freak?" Kubrick says.

"No, not anymore. I -- no powers, no visions, nothing, it just--" Sam says.

"LIAR!" Kubrick yells at Sam as he punches Sam hard in the face. "Now more lies. There's an army of demons out there pushing at a world already on the brink. We're on deck for the endgame here, right? So, maybe, just maybe you can understand, why we can't take chances."

"Whoa, okay, okay -- hold on a minute! --" Sam says as Creedy tries to intervene.

"Hey, Kubrick just --" Creedy says.

"Shut up!" Kubrick says to Creedy as he points the gun at Sam without turning around. Sam let's out a long-suffering sigh. "It's God, Creedy. He led us here for a reason, to do His work. This ... is destiny." Kubrick aims the gun point blank at Sam's forehead, as Sam squeezes his eyes shut, the sound of another gun being cocked is heard in the room.

"Nope. No destiny, just a rabbit's foot." Dean says.

"Put the gun down, son, or you're gonna be scraping brain off the wall." Kubrick says.

"Oh, this thing?" Dean asks as he raises the gun.

"Yeah, that thing." Kubrick says.

"Okay, but see, there's something about me that you should know." Dean says as he puts his gun down, looking smug, and picks up a pen sitting next to it.

"Yeah? What would that be?" Kubrick asks.

"It's my lucky day." Dean says as he tosses the pen towards Kubrick. It lodges itself in the barrel of Kubrick's gun, as Sam looks impressed. "Oh, my God, did you see that shot?" Dean asks. Creedy lunges at Dean and aims a punch, as Dean easily steps-aside and Creedy runs straight into the wall, falling backwards and hitting the floor. Kubrick stares at the ben in the barrel for a few moments before trying to dislodge it. "I'm amazing." Dean picks up the TV remote from the table and throws it hard at Kubrick, who is just about to aim for Dean. It hits Kubrick right between his eyes, knocking him out cold. He drops like a stone. "I'm Batman." Dean says.

"Yeah, you're Batman." Sam says sarcastically as Amelia opens the door to the closet that she was inhabiting, as Dean looks at Amelia.

"What were you doing in a closet?" Dean asks.

"She was hiding from them." Sam says, as Dean nods his head.

Sam is crouching and sprinkling something onto the embers of a small fire. Dean is checking over more scratch cards. "Alright, bone ash, cayenne pepper, that should do it." Sam says.

"One second..." Dean says as Amelia looks up, as she is sitting on the ground nearby.

"Dean, you--" Sam says.

"Hey, back off, Jinx. I'm bringing home the bacon." Dean says as Sam sighs, as Dean smirks and stashes the cards in Ana's bag which is in front of Amelia. "Alright say, goodbye 'wascawy wabbit'."

Then the sound of a gun is heard cocking as Dean turns around to see Bela. "I think you'll find that belongs to me. Or, you know, whatever." Bela says as there is a pause before she continues. "Put the foot down, honey."

"No. You're not going to shoot anybody. It's bad enough you shot my sidekick you know the red head. I happen to be able to read people. Okay, you're a thief, but you're not --" Dean says as Bela ignores him and aims at Sam and fires, as Sam goes down groaning, as Amelia moved towards Sam. "Son of a --" Dean says.

"Back off tiger. Back off. You make one more move and I'll pull the trigger." Bela says, as Amelia inspects Sam's shoulder. "You've got the luck, Dean. You, I can't hit. But your brother? Him, I can't miss. You too Blondie." Bela says as Amelia just flips off Bela from behind which made Sam softly smile at her.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! You don't just go around shooting people like that!" Dean says.

"Relax, princess. It's a shoulder hit, I can aim. Besides, who were hasn't shot a few people? Put the rabbit's foot on the ground now." The Talbot woman says.

"Alright! Alright. Take it easy." Dean says, as he goes to drop the rabbit's foot, but instead throws it at Bela. "Think fast."

Bela catches the foot and curses, as Dean smiles in satisfaction, as a hissing can be heard as it was Amelia as she disinfected Sam's shoulder, as she is doing what Dean did earlier to Ana and got the bullet out of her stomach that Bela shot at. "Damn!" Bela curses.

"Now, what do you say we destroy that ugly-ass piece of dead thing?" Dean asks as Bela sighs in annoyance, as she drops the rabbit's foot in the embers.

"Thanks very much. I'm out of one and a half million, and on the bad side of a very powerful, fairly psychotic buyer." Dean says.

"Wow. I really don't feel bad about that. Sam? Amelia?"

"Nope." Sam and Amelia both say in unison as Sam hisses once again, as Amelia pulls the bullet out with tweezers.

"Hmm. Maybe next time, I'll hang you out dry." Bela says.

"Oh, don't go away angry, just go away." Dean says as Bela smirks.

"Have a nice night." Bela says as she walks away.

The three of them are walking back to the car. "You good?" Dean asks Sam, as he has bandages on his shoulder from where Bela had shot him.

"I'll live, 'sides Mia took the bullet out." Sam says.

"I guess, we're back to normal now, huh? No good luck, no bad luck. Oh! I forgot, we're up $46,000. I almost forgot about the scratch tickets." Dean says as Amelia handed him the tickets that were in her bag, as she kept the bag away and out of Bela's sticky hands knowing that she would probably steal them.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them got into the impala as Ana was asleep in the spot where Sam would usually be at, she had her fuzzy blanket that she has wrapped around her as Dean had her covered up after he played doctor on her. "What happened to Ana?" Amelia asked, as her and Sam got in the backseat.

"As me and Annie had a standoff with Bela, she had shot Ana because I had the rabbit's foot, and you know, I had luck and Ana didn't. So, Bela shot her in the stomach. Now as we were heading out of Bela's apartment, Annie was trying to put pressure on her stomach to get it to stop bleeding, and she ended up losing conscious, and I carried her back to the car and had to play doctor, and yeah." Dean explains to Amelia and Sam as their eyes widened when Dean said that she got shot. "But don't worry, she passed out soon after I played doctor and she's been out since."
