Twenty-Five

Aizawa wasn't sure what it was, but something bubbled inside him, and it certainly wasn't like some old fuzzy and warm kind of sensations he had back then. It was uncomfortable, and his 'gut instinct' (yes, even as a man who didn't believe in miracles and had a logical mindset also had what was called 'a gut instinct' just like every other person.) was kicking him in the crotch as each minute passed by. He usually never had this feeling due to the fact he always formulated some plan or was prepared before, but when it did come, it was the majority of the percent right. For the most part it was a small tingle unless it seemed so obvious, but as he watched the exam footage, he couldn't help but be getting a massive headache. Fuck, and it just kept growing to be an obvious migraine as his mind was practically screaming at him to do something.

But what could he do? He couldn't interfere with the exams. He couldn't just walk out to each teacher and tell them to stop the exam all because of a 'gut feeling.' That would be illogical, and that played against his standards of himself and everything he stood for; he continued to ignore it despite his body itching to get up and just... take action upon something. It seemed like nobody else noticed as the UA staff watched the footage from the cameras placed around the testing areas. Damnit, was he going crazy? He probably was, but everything yelled at him to tell the teachers. He shook his head though and decided against that, but his mind flashed warning signs, and it soon became too irritating to watch without his brain fighting itself in trying to focus.

He excused himself to the bathroom, just right after Midoriya and Bakugo's exams finished. He was the last exam, and he was thoroughly anticipating Todoroki and Yaoyorozu's performance. His feet skidded down a hallway as he entered the male's bathroom. His eyes skimmed to make sure it was empty, before leaning over a sink and activating the faucet. A sigh escaped his dry lips as he let the water flow over his skin, making him shiver from the coldness but ultimately choosing to ignore the goosebumps that formed. His fingers and palms that were coated in the wet, cool liquid were brought up and rubbed his face with it. He needed to think over some things within the few minutes he had. He refreshed his eyes applying some water over it, then blinking it away and grabbing out the small, green container of eye drops. Flicking open the cap, he poured a few droplets of the substance in his eyes, once again blinking multiple times before putting the container away in one of his belt pockets.

His arms firmly placed on the sink as he stared at himself. It almost took him by surprise, seeing his reflection, then he realized that he avoided the mirrors, which is why he scarcely ever saw himself. Not that he really cared about how he appeared, he knew he always looked the same, with his black outfit and his signature scruffy and tired expression, complemented with his messy and ungroomed black hair. His eyes gazed down to the scar under his right eye.

Before anything popped up, he shook his eyes, shifting his gaze away from his appearance in front of him, tilting his head down to gaze down at his torso and arms.

He bit his lip as he knew that his own reflection was right in front of him, an irked vein popped out of the back of his neck as he gazed back at the pathetic excuse of a man he was. What the hell? He looked fucking homeless. Even in high school his hair was a better shape than this, much more tamed and groomed. His eye bags were so noticeable, and honestly he looked like shit. His stubble and his small, trimmed mustache gave him some kind of disheveled state. Lips in an obvious frown, he wondered when was the last time he smiled, genuinely smiled. Not the sarcastic or sadistic smiles he gave to his students or his colleges but... an actual compassionate and happy-filled smile.

He couldn't remember the last time he smiled just out of pure content. His heart ached at the knowledge in reality it seemed like he hadn't smiled like that ever since his highschool days.

Before Oboro. Before Y/N.

He tried to smile, his lips twitched by both sides of his mouth as they curled up, into a lopsided, and down-to-earth, ugly grin that he himself wasn't very satisfied with. It was obviously odd to him, outside of his comfort zones, his stoic demeanor remained there but he was... smiling... it was like a mixture of a depressive and a sadistic smile... it was a monstrosity. He tried to do it once more, only this time finding himself he couldn't actually smile. His cheek muscles remained the same, clearly they worked, but he was faking it... and it was so fucking evident.

He hadn't smiled happily in so long. Had he forgotten how to? His lips twitched upwards once more before realizing he couldn't fake a happy smile once.

His attention flickered to the scar under his eyes.

Images and screams from he and Y/N burned through his mind, and he took in a deep breath as he clenched his eyes tightly. He could feel Y/N's presence behind him, only inches away from his body, and her arms were secured tightly around his stomach and hips. It was the warmth and sense of comfort that the figure behind him brought that told him it was Y/N. He could also hear her whimpering from behind but he didn't look at her just yet. Gazing at the shattered glass around him, scattered across the floor in shards, and the smell of alcohol from a figure that stood before him, the scent lingering around, filling his nose. It tickled his nose in a horrid, dreadful way and the crunching of glass beneath his shoes were loud and audible, echoing throughout the room. Fear and panic arose in his heart, as his eyes settled on a tall man, buff and prominently furious at him. His right hand was raising a glass bottle over his head, ready to slam it back down and strike him. Was it a beer bottle? Based on the odor that reeked from the man's breath, it probably was. His own right hand reached behind him to grasp Y/N's arm who clung onto him based on the embrace from around his waist. He was noticeably shorter than he thought.

He tilted his head to gaze back at Y/N, his eyes stopping and his heart dropping to his stomach as he saw only one emotion in her.

Fear. It was so strong, the fear inside of her was so strong, it shot him in the chest with an agony that hurted more than a bullet. It was something he wasn't used to seeing everyday because he was so used to seeing a permanent smile on her face. A happy cheerful girl that was always laughing and grinning clung onto him like he was her lifeline. Her chest pressed against his back tensely and he could feel her shaking. He could hear the rapid pace her heartbeat was drumming at, and he could feel the terror seeping out of her form.

He hated seeing Y/N like that for the first time. Her eyes, widening and vibrating in horror while she trembled like a leaf in the wind. Her mouth agape like she had just seen a murder and her breathe stolen away as she clung even tighter to him. Her eyes focused on something in front of him, and they were widening with each second.

He glanced back around, looking away from her pale face. He only processed the man's arm rushing down on him with the bottle in hand ready to impact him. Instinctively raising his free hand to defend, he prepared himself for the hit-

CRASH!

He opened his eyes to see him in the mirror, his arm raised just above his eyes with only the scar he had shown on his face as he returned to his present-self. He realized he wasn't where he was before, and he looked around.

There was no man, or Y/N in sight. He was alone, utterly alone in the bathroom. There wasn't the aroma of beer anywhere and there weren't glass fragments at his feet.

It was just a flashback.

He sighed, lowering his arm down and he pulled out the phone to check the time. Only five minutes until his exam was to start.

Why couldn't he stop thinking about her? If this was really going to go on, he really needed to check himself. Perhaps finally get a therapist so he could forget these memories and have them stop bothering him? Sooner or later, they were probably going to affect his mental health, and he couldn't afford to slack off when he has a class full of problem children, more considerably two that just seemed to have always attracted the wrong kind of attraction. His class was targeted due to All Might, and they were already nationally known, to everyone, even villains. If all these memories were going to resurface within him he wasn't sure if he could handle it. He was going to a point where if he continued to bubble all of these emotions caused by said memories, those feelings would surely produce something explosive. He remembered the last time he received so much emotion, and well...- he blew up... emotionally. And he did so much damage when he did, and lost so many things because of all the built up stress- the emotional release for him was far too damaging the last time it happened and he knew he couldn't allow that to happen again. He had too much going on right now and he couldn't risk anything.

He needed a way to eradicate these memories before they caused him more harm. He was off his game and he needed to get back in quickly. These recallings were messing with his mind and would soon emotionally and mentally tear him apart and he wasn't ready for that. He really needed to solve this issue soon, and he had to get rid of the source that spiked these recent memories. God, this was so stressful for him.

He hated Y/N so much because she had emotionally and psychologically scarred him and broken him beyond repair. Because she left him and she made him deal with her absence alone, he hated it more than anything. The dull ache and the pang of loneliness that shot through him was because of Y/N. He was sure he wouldn't be feeling this way if only she hadn't done what she did. He hated her because he left him with only his shatter and fractured heart as a reminder and he became a shell of what he formerly was. He wasn't the same, and he changed drastically and unwillingly, and that was all of Y/N's fault.

He bit his lip at shifting the blame at Y/N, before shaking his head to get rid of the irrelevant thoughts. He had to take part in the semester finals exam, and he had no time or space to be thinking on this topic.

Washing himself once more then heading out of the bathroom, he exited the room and raced to the urban area. The two of the students he was going against relied heavily on their quirks, which he would have the power to use that as an advantage, seeing as his quirk negated any other emitter or transformation quirk. This was a challenge to see how they can get past their vulnerability when their quirks are held useless in a situation or unable to be used. He wanted his students to be more than just defenseless without their quirks, as he was a prime example of someone not having to always use his quirk and still defend successfully.

Todoroki's quirk was impressive due to the control of both flame and ice. Both sides were as equally good at being offensive and defensive, and he didn't have much to hold him back physically from using them. Excessive use of either side caused his temperature to either rise or fall to dangerous levels, but with control with fire and ice, those drawbacks were immediately cancelled out. The only thing flawed with him and his quirk was how simple his attacks were.

Yaoyorozu's quirk was no doubt flexible and useful as well. Creating things out of thin air just by knowing the chemical makeup? That was insane, and knowing how hard she studied in academics and how much of a good academic student she was, she would no doubt be a great hero. But since the Sports Festival, she lacked confidence- no most likely before it too- and she had always followed who she thought was better than her. He really needed to fix that.

He wasn't going to take it easy, but he also couldn't give it his all just quite. Not only because of these cuffs that made sure his movement and strength was suppressed, but also because if he gave it his all, he would brutalize his students; something he would definitely not do. He had at least a decade of experience against these heroes-in-training, and it simply wasn't fair whatsoever. He was much more experienced in combat, and they certaining didn't have the fighting skills he had, not to mention yet again that their quirks couldn't be used.

This was a game of strategy for them, and maybe so they could win this game. He was an underground hero, which meant he used surprises and ambushes to win combatic battles. He could quickly take them out from behind without them ever knowing what the hell had happened and only woke up to the dull pale ceiling of the police department. If he was able to capture and incapacitate both students, they failed the exam, simple as that. Right now, he stood at the exit of the area, patiently waiting for the bell to signal him when to move.

Yaoyorozu had already acknowledged that she was inferior to many of her classmates, definitely putting herself on a lower pedestal than Todoroki. Although powerful, the boy was simple-minded with his attack and plans, and most likely would try doing something predictable. He liked using brute force and had always thought well of his abilities. He would overestimate his Quirk though, resulting in predictable movements; he was most likely going to rush him, which is why he had to take out the bi-colored haired boy. Yaoyorozu would stay behind in doubt of her own abilities and would stay behind, perhaps to either ambush him at the time he was preoccupied or run to the exit. Either way, with this thinking, neither of them were going to pass this exam with this level of thinking and mindset.

Their reliability on their quirks weren't the only thing that got them paired together. It was also because Yaoyorozu was able to concoct complicated and complex strategies, while Todoroki focused less on those. He was intellectual and smart, but didn't have the ability to expand larger. That was also why the two of them were paired together, they befitted each other's flaws.

The loud siren sounded off, and then the words, "Team Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, practical exam. Ready, go!" rang through the entire urban setting. He huffed and grasped the metallic material of his goggles before placing them over his eyes. He ran to a nearby telephone pole a few meters away before activating his scarf and one end of the cloth wrapped around the cylinder shape. He pulled himself forward causing him to fly towards it and he swiftly landed on one of the roofs of the houses. He recollected the fabric and ran across the roofs searching for his two students. He knew they were better than to split up, so they were more than likely together.

He couldn't help but had the previous unease boiling within him return, but shook it off.

He was quick in jumping over rooftop to rooftop, after all he had ten years of experience. This was more like a light jog for him early in the morning rather than anything else. Through the years of patrolling in the quiet and sneaky night, his ears were trained to pick up noises that most people couldn't hear. His ears had some sort of advanced hearing that all nighttime-patrol heroes picked up after years. They could hear the sounds of distress or struggle farther than any normal human that didn't have some kind of hearing quirk.

It took him a few minutes, but his ears perked when he heard a piece of dialogue. He immediately rushed silently to the scene, watching them interact for a while.

"... nothing special," Todoroki said as he approached them with caution from up above on the powerlines. He steadily balanced himself above, his quirk activating so they couldn't do anything. They haven't seemed to notice that Yaoyorozu stopped making Russian dolls. He took a mental note that there may be something in dolls and told himself to prepare himself for whatever was in them if there were any at all. Why did she need so much? He didn't know either, but he erased her quirk so she couldn't produce more.

They stopped running and continued to engage in a conversation.

"Nothing special..." Yaoyorozu whispered, audible enough for the boy to turn around and face her. "As a student who got into U.A. through recommendations, we started from the same place, but in terms of the practical skills a hero needs, I haven't done anything that stands out."

Aizawa cocked an eyebrow as she continued. She was admitting that she had little confidence in herself to her teammate, and her thoughts concluded that Todoroki was better in terms of being a hero.

"During the cavalry battle, I just did what you said. In my own fight, I lost before I could do anything to Tokoyami."

Todoroki seemed to have contemplated for a moment before he tensed, signifying him that he knew. "Yaoyorozu, your matryoshkas..."

The female tensed as well as the two of them realized his location.

"-He's coming!" the boy said, followed by a quick apology from his partner.

"If you realize that, then you should immediately start acting," the Erasure hero said as he hung from above and behind the two students. The boy reacted quickly, turning around and flinging his arm to try and hit him. He let go of his scarf's hold on the powerlines and dropped onto the ground. "In this case, you should prioritize evasion since I stole a march on you."

His eyes flashed red as he activated his quirk, erasing the half-and-half human's quirk. The student called out to the female to go as he spun around and attempted to kick him, which he effortlessly dodged. Yaoyorozu hesitated before turning on her heels and running towards the exit.

"Is that what your plan was?" he mused, knowing that he had predicted this. His scarf unfolded and floated around him and he rushed at Todoroki, his capture weapon effectively wrapping around the boy's torso and limbs. He pulled on the cloths to hang Todoroki over the powerlines and took the knife he carried to cut off the cloth and tied it to a pole. He had planned this through, knowing the boy could use his quirk to escape out of the cloth's grip easily once the ravenette was gone. Taking precautions, he reached into his pouches. "Then this is perfect. Either way, I'd been planning to catch you first since you're the offense."

"You think you've caught me..? I can burn or freeze these restraints in an instant...," the hanging boy stated. Of course, he already took this in mind.

"I don't care what you do. Just be careful of where you fall."

He pulled out caltrops and scattered them across the floor beneath the flame-and-ice wielding male. "Caltrops? What are you, a ninja? Coming up with such an unpleasant countermeasure..."

"It's different from the time with the hero killer. I know the Quirks and the number of heroes," Aizawa said. He used this time to use his eye drops once more. "I'm perfectly prepared to intercept you. Your plan places heavily on the burdens pretty heavily on yourself. It's nice to try and be considerate to the girl but maybe you should have talked it over more."

He left Todoroki there with a note that made him think over his previous actions, then rushed off to find Yaoyorozu. He used his capture weapon to swing him across the urban surroundings. He was right behind her.

'Ever since the sports festival, she'd obviously lost confidence in herself.'

In midair, he aimed one end at her, effectively able to grab a hold of one of her wrists, stopping her in her tracks, as he tugged on it as he landed on one of the roofs. "I'm gonna hurt you where it hurts," he threatened. "Let's see who can get in more hits."

He pulled Yaoyorozu towards him, but she used his quirk to widen the cloth so that her wrist could slip out of it easily. She then started to rush back towards Todoroki which made him wonder.

'Going in the opposite direction? She's left all the decision-making to him. Comparing herself to Todoroki, she's decided that he's better than her. Watching Todoroki for, who for better or worse doesn't hesitate much, she's been unable to find confidence in her own thinking, huh? Emotionally, she's still a child of fifteen. I'd like to help her regain her confidence, but that's not my job right now.'

He shook his head knowing he gave Yaoyorozu a chance to run, then proceeded to go after her while running over the powerlines. She had already arrived at where Todoroki was, and she spun around once the boy warned her of the teacher's presence. He observed silently as she evidently hesitated on what decision she should make. Should she save her teammate or run in fear of getting caught with him too, thus resulting in a fail on the exam.

"Yaoyorozu!" the boy called out to her. "You've got a plan, right?" So he did think about what he said huh?

"Sorry, I should have asked earlier if the plan was okay. You have an idea, right?"

Yes, give faith to her and her own thinking. This was exactly the push that the two of them needed. He smiled inwardly but made no change in pace as he continued to rush at the two of them.

"But your plan didn't work, so how could my idea..?"

"It's fine, just spit it out! I'm saying that you're the one more suited to this stuff! When we were voting for class rep, you had two votes, right? One of those votes was mine! Because I thought you'd be good at it!"

Once again she hesitated and he took this time to ambush her. "Are you done?" he exclaimed. He noticed that she grabbed ahold of the russion dolls.

"But... Todoroki, close your eyes!" she said as she threw them upwards where the underground hero was.

"What are these," the Erasure hero questioned, kicking one back, which triggered the flashbank inside of it.

'Flash grenades?'

"I have an idea! I have a plan! A special operation just to beat Mr. Aizawa!" he heard her yell as he rubbed his eyes. The blinding light had caused his eyes to do a lot of twitching and given him temporary pain in his pupils. He smiled at the statement, pulling off his goggles to rub his eyes. glad that she finally was able to gain back her confidence enough to go through with the plan. Now they were thinking. He was satisfied that they were using their head actually. Yaoyorozu had always been one to do so.

"A special operation?"

"Yes, I was actually thinking about this from the beginning!"

"Just tell me already."

The hero in black retreated onto a rooftop.

"The aftereffects of the USJ... A decrease in time I can use my Quirk, and an increased interval between uses. Well, if she's attacking because she noticed that, then she's pretty good," Aizawa spoke to himself. He grabbed a hold of his scarf and shot one end at them, which they nimbly dodged.

"Yaoyorozu!" he said as he raised his left hand, ready to shoot out fire. The older male made sure he couldn't, erasing his quirk making the younger male grit his teeth.

"Todoroki, let's hide! Together! Mr. Aizawa's eyes have become a bit unstable..." he heard them say as they trailed off. The ravennette chased after them quickly over the powerlines, seeing as they were talking to one another most likely about their next step.

"I'm gonna catch you!" he spoke once again, shooting his weapon at them. Then, a tall and large wall of ice erupted from Todoroki, making the whole area be blocked off by the huge blockade of spiked ice. The tired man jumped back, successfully not getting caught into the ice.

'They were waiting for this.'

He grinned.

'Yeah, you've got to get your opponent where it hurts!'

He sat down at the roof of the house and then it hit him with a force that completely made him hazy and lost his focus. He groaned as he clutched his stomach, his right hand falling over his forehead as his head pounded with a headache. His insides churned internally and his heart pounded out of his chest. A hundred signals were being sent and being shared across the neurons of his brain, his mind's thought process going haywire as something came across him.

Something was definitely wrong, and his body was screaming at him. It seemed so near him too. What could have possibly gone wrong? Was his student hurt by accident? Did something happen at the school? Another invasion? How? He felt something intimidating and threatening from behind him. It's atmosphere around the area was so thick, filled with something cruel, something snide, something vile. He would know it anywhere. It was the same kind of feelings he would get when he encountered villains on his patrols at night or when he was at USJ. A villain? It couldn't possibly be! How could they have intruded U.A.?!

He turned around and his eyes widened as they laid upon a familiar black and yellow suit accompanied by a hood and a mask. A mask with bright, glowing yellow eyes that shone through the whole setting, making him gaze back at them, keeping his attention. He knew those eyes. He remembered those eyes. His breath left him as his eyes scanned over the figure.

He knew those eyes. He knew those eyes because that was the last thing he looked into before he woke up at the hospital. Those were the eyes of the villain he swore he would defeat next time. This was the same villain that he had blamed for the resurfacing of the buried memories he had. This was the villain he suspected of the murder of the three bodies. This was the villain who had utterly defeated and overpowered him in the USJ. This was the villain that had the answers he needed.

He needed to defeat her this time. He didn't have any way of contacting the staff right now, and hopefully they would figure out soon enough. But this was a villain inside of UA grounds, they were trespassing. They weren't supposed to be here. He had to take her down, as he was a villain, and he was a hero. He hoped that he could make this quick enough so they could continue the exam. If they couldn't they would have to retake it. Maybe Todoroki or Yaoyorozu would notice that he wasn't after them and should look for him. Either way, he had no time to think as he immediately rushed in on the villain the second they locked eyes together.

"Why are you here?" he questioned as he tried to encapture her in his scarf. Of course, the figure didn't answer, dodging by jumping backward. He needed to take the cuffs off of him so he could fight her at full strength- he was at a disadvantage. "Why and how did you infiltrate the UA grounds to be here?!" he yelled once more, kicking low to try and get her off her feet, which she counterattacked by jumping over, and landing a blow to his face with her foot.

His mind raced to try to process how she could infiltrate the UA grounds. Why was she even here in the semester practical exam areas? Was she... scouting the students? How long has she been here? Was she in every area? Who was on her list now? Why would the League of Villains want from the students? That didn't make sense, their business was with All Might. What point was there to be targeting the children. Or perhaps she was watching the staff? Why would they bother with any other staff though? Was it just All Might? No, she would have left without being detected. So why was she here? How did she even get here? How did she know their location? Did someone leak their information?

Currently, his thoughts were running on pure anger and impulsion, usually something that he would be disappointed in himself for, but this was the villain he knew he needed to catch. Something in his mind told him this was the one that would give him all the answer to... well everything. Not only that, but he really needed to get back on her for outright overpowering him back in the USJ. She had caused harm to one student already and she could be threatening hurting more. He couldn't allow that; he couldn't allow the League of Villains to touch his students. This was a group that had potential and a class he had his faith in becoming the next big and top pro heroes.

He shook his head. His focus shouldn't be on a topic in question, he had to focus on the villain in front of him.

He grumbled as he backed up before the villain rushed at him throwing in a punch. He shot one end at the hand, which was able to wrap around her wrist and he tugged on it, pulling her forward. He was ready to punch her as her body was flung towards him, but she ducked just in time, and kicked him in the jaw making the scarf around her loose. She lunged at him once with a flurry of kicks and punches, and Aizawa doing the same, exchanging blows only for them to be blocked or dodged. The two of them backed away once again to regain their composure, the two of them at the edges of the roof.

The female villain reached for something attached to her back, which he assumed were her weapons. His scarf was thrown at her once again, which she jumped backwards. His eyes widened as he watched her fall before running to the edge, expecting to see a body splattered on the floor, but there was nothing. Only, he was met with feet as the hero was kicked away from the edge, and the villain that hung by the roof threw herself backward to land back on the roof.

"Tch," he said as he wiped some dirt off of his lips. "Did you kill them? The three criminals on September 18th?"

As expected, there wasn't a response. No nod or shake, nothing as they emptily stared at him. He was starting to think they were an android if not for the fact he could hear their shallow breath. At least this villain was smart. He knew there was no point in straining his eyes for her quirk to be erased. It wasn't long ranged, and the effects could only happen after seconds of physical contact. He had to be wary of getting close, but that caused him to be at a disadvantage. He excelled in close quarters combat.

Dashing towards the ravennette, the female attacked trying to grab onto him in any way. There was some time that she succeeded, but before she could use her quirk on him, he erased it, effectively kicking or hitting her arm away. She moved fluently like she was dancing, her fighting style on par or even better than him. It was just a round of the two attempting to harm each other, but neither of them actually able to.

One tendril of his scarf flew across, tightening around her wrist, and he tugged on it, which pulled her in. Unable to react, he was able to punch her across the jaw, which made her tumble back, just enough for him to strike her in the stomach and chest, sending her flying. But before he could restrain her, a blade was thrown at him, narrowly missing his face and damaging the strands of hair that had managed to be in the way of the blade. He used his weapon to get rid of her other katana from her hands as he repetitively jumped out of her way while she bolted at him.

Letting out a hiss of pain as the sharp metallic weapon brushed against his shoulder and another on his upper legs, he ducked another swipe before finally able to knock her onto the floor. He kicked the sword away and leaned down to knock her out, but she leaned up and snared his neckwear, wrapping the bandages around his head and eyes in a manner that seemed too inhumanly fast before bringing his form down onto her knee, slamming his gut against her kneecap hard, making him groan.

Her other hand snaked around his throat, and he could feel her fingers tighten, but not enough to have strangled him. She shifted around him to put him in a chokehold when his body was pressed against the roof, her hand still around his neck. He felt his pumping heart drumming faster than it should be capable of but his eyelids were seeming to be heavier as he felt the pace settling relatively quickly, and he was calming down internally, but his stress levels and adrenaline was still high.

His eyes were still covered, and then he tried to tilt his head to at least be able to get a glimpse of her. His breath was getting shallower as his heart was forcefully shutting down, and he was becoming fuzzy. He writhed within her hold, and his magical scarf acted on his thinking, unraveling around his face and he used his quirk to cancel hers, making his heartbeat automatically jump to racing levels. Being able to breathe, he flung back his head to crack her skull against his, making her flinch back, before rolling around and getting up.

He was about to rush at her tiredly once again when suddenly the villain turned and ran. Coincidentally, the Number One hero appeared there a second later, not being able to see him earlier     because of the sheer amount of speed the Symbol of Peace held. All Might lunged at the villain as she ran, her agility allowing her to have barely escaped one punch from the hero before, she also kicked him away, just enough to have put a few feet between the heroes before rushing off. All Might punched the ground to make the floor unstable, and caused the ground to shake and crack under her. Immediately the ground collapsed underneath her form, and she fell. A thick and large cloud of dust enveloped the whole area but with a mighty clap from All Might, the wind pressure had blown away all the dust.

Only the villain was already gone.
