Scary Love - The Neighbourhood.

   Damian Wayne loved a single creature too much to bare being alone. Especially without her. He didn't want to be left alone.

   But he missed Gotham too much to stay at the Tower much longer. His homesickness practically corrupted him. And, no matter how much he refused to admit it, he missed his family. More Alfred over everyone else, but same difference.

   Over time, he managed to convince Raven to move into the guest house of the manor with him. It was like they had their own house, but not exactly at the same time.

   "You've to stop being so beautiful, Raven." Damian smiled as he kissed her face all over. "You're too pretty for me. How did I ever score a girl like you?"

   Raven blushed in response, "Shut up.." She smiled, watching her boyfriend kiss her, then decided to tease him. "I already know, baby"

   "Good." He looked down at her and grabbed her by the hips, "It's true."

   Damian was phased by his connection with Raven. He loved her more than anyone and everyone else he had loved. Which wasn't saying much, but at the same time, it was saying a lot. Needless to say, he really did have good luck when it came to Raven and their relationship.

   He didn't even think they'd get as far in this relationship as they did. Of course he loved her. He did from the start. But Damian knew how insufferable he could be. He didn't think she'd be able to stand him as long as she did. And it was only the start. But the fact that she stayed with him that long only made him love her even more.

   Well, that, and it scared him.

   How much longer would it be until Raven were to come to her senses and finally end their relationship? They couldn't be together forever, could they? He trusted her more than anyone else, but that didn't mean that he didn't think they would last too much longer. Everything was too perfect, made him on edge.

   "Baby?" His face dropped slightly at his thoughts of her leaving him.

   "Honey?" Raven cocked her head to the side questioningly, "Anything wrong?"

   "Nothing, just.. this might sound kind of stupid, but.." He took a deep breath, "Your love is scaring me."

   "Why is that?" She took both his hands into hers and looked into his eyes.

   "No one has ever cared for me as much as you do.. I'm scared you'll decide to drop me one day."

   "No, Dame. I would never."

   "You promise?"

   "Of course." Raven kissed his cheek softly, "I need you here."
