Everyone in the Titans already knew who their kiss was going to be when the clock would strike midnight. Garfield with Tara, Kori and Dick, Jaime with his girlfriend Traci, and Raven with, of course, Damian.

Raven was head over heels for her boyfriend, to say the least. She cared for him just as much as he did her. It was an understatement for her to say that she loved him.

But Raven did never say it. Their relationship was going smoothly and she didn't want to risk anything by taking the big step of saying the "l word". Of course, she could simply go into his mind and see for herself whether or not Damian felt the same, but he would be able to detect her presence. So Raven enjoyed the time they spent together, keeping her true feelings to herself.

Soon enough, the clock struck 11:59. The teenagers located in the common room, joking, laughing, overall enjoying the New Years Eve with each other. Being normal teens for once-- or at least, the normalest they could be, given their situations.

Raven jumped back slightly in surprise when they started chanting loudly. She was going to join in with them, but then she heard Damian speak to her.

"Raven," He addressed, "I have to tell you something."

"Eight!"

"What is it?" Raven asked with a slightly raised eyebrow.

"I know we've only been together for six months, but I really enjoyed those months. You're very special to me, and--"

"Just spit it out, Damian."

The rest of the team had already gotten to, "Three!"

"I love you."

But before she could react, the cheering had reached to the final number. He pulled her into a kiss, to which she quickly reacted to and returned.

"Happy New Years!"
