14 Days from Christmas- Opportunity
Jimin was planting a maple tree which was sent to him by Jungkook. "The boy sure has a taste." Jimin thought when he recieved a sapling in a small pot that was brought to him by a kid, looking all cute with her shrilled dress and colorful glittery butterfly hair clips.
He has to leave tonight for Paris and he wanted to see Jungkook before he left but Jungkook today decided to abandon his work.
The good thing is Jungkook had friends as he said, to look after his work without meeting with any losses.
He was nervous and wanted to talk to someone to soothe his nerves.
Almost everything on his to-do list was done. He was planning to visit Paris after Christmas when he would leave the city but one lucky stranger covets a miracle for him.
His heart fiddle heavily as he planted the tree and went back home seering the card which read "May luck be with you! J. JK"
He would be so content if he ever comes back and visits the tree he planted. A smile kept painted on his lips the entire walk home. The card was precious to him. He is nothing if not nostalgic and he planned to keep it as a reminder of Jungkook.
There was something which was bugging him about the initials, J.JK. He has read the same initials somewhere but he could not recollect or pinpoint them.
With a tangled web of thoughts and emotions, he did not completely recognize that he was already home.
His house owner was back and he had to briefly meet him before packing up and leave.
Even after travelling for almost 3 years he still gets anxious. It is not until he boards the flight it slackens. He really needed to see Jungkook, his heart told him that Jungkook would be able to tranquilize him.
As he reached home he straight away went to his house owner's door and rang the bell. He kept shaking his elbows to calm himself.
The door opens and the man welcomes him brightly. "Come on in."
Jimin smiles back as his boots trudge inside and over to the living room. "I am Park Jimin."
He extends his hands and the tall man accepts them in response. "Nice to meet you Jimin, I am Oli London."
"Feeling is mutual Mr. London."
"Oh! Please. Call me Oli. He smiles sweetly which gets acknowledged while he offers Jimin a seat.
Clara joins the men as she brings water for Jimin.
"Do you need something honey?" She asks her husband.
Oli shakes his head and pulls her gently by his side to accompany him.
"I heard about your cooking Jimin. Clara would not stop talking about it. You have spoiled her. Now you have got to teach me before she gets an idea of divorcing me. And she tells me you are single too. I don't want to risk it." He wittingly puts it out there and laughs.
Jimin flinches at the mention of a relationship but then he composes himself. He also does not know if he should call himself single as the thought of a certain man crosses his mind.
Clara elbows her husband who held notice of Jimin's slight discomfort.
"Sorry Jimin. He blabbers too much." She flashes a smile at him.
"No Clara. It's fine." He reassures. "I am leaving for few days but once I am back we can do something like barbeque."
"Well great!" I cannot wait." Oli guffaws.
"Excuse me Oli. I would have to take leave now. My flight is in few hours. I will get my stuff ready." Jimin gets up and leaves after bidding goodbye to the nice family.

As a food enthusiast, Jimin's perspectives have always been travelling to places on his bucket list with specific nuances.
While packing hurriedly he thinks of his lovely trip to Oxford, the seat of education, history, and literature. Education has always been so coveted by all and it is here you realize that how the Nobel laureates have actually received their education.
He wanted to study history as a kid but grew interested in the domain of food.
His thoughts get interrupted as his phone falls with a thud on the wooden floor because of vibration which he did not realize before.
Swiping the green icon he answers,
Hey! How are you?
Are you ready?
Um. Yeah! Why do you ask?
Come down. I will drop you at the Airport.
Jungkook you did not have to. I did not tell you about the flight timings for a reason.
The reason being you don't consider me a friend. Otherwise, you would drop these formalities.
I can go back if you want.
NO. STOP.
Okay. I am waiting.
Jimin double checks everything as he plugs out the phone charger from the socket, puts it in the satchel, and lifts the phone in his hand.
He closes his eyes and joins his hands together seering into darkness as he prays to the almighty.
//Please let me have it this time.//
With a heaving heart and sweaty palms, he drags the small carrier, locks his room, and then finally the main gate before getting out of the house.
Shrieking with joy on Jungkook's arrival without letting it reflect on his face he scurries over to the car parked at a distance.
It was the same car but somehow it looked much clean as if it was just come out of the showroom.
Jungkook gets down quickly and offers to help with the suitcase. "It's fine Gguk, really."
Jungkook smiles at the alias. He lets Jimin put his luggage in the back passenger seat.
"Why does this car smell so brand new?" Jimin utters to himself but out loud and Jungkook panics.
"It has just come out after service." He replies.
"Well, I hope you take care of it and our lives while you drive." He wittingly says as he fastens his seatbelt.
Jungkook just looks at him in dismay. "I am a good driver Jimin. You should trust me with your things. Always so rude to me." He pouts a little.
Jimin flashes him an evil grin. "What if we negotiate?"
Jungkook starts the car as they zoom out onto the dark long road laughing and uttering complete nonsense.

"Have a safe flight Jimin and All the best. I will call you."
Reaching for a hug unintentionally it ends up being awkward but they shrug it off.
"I will be back soon. Let's celebrate Christmas together if you don't have special plans." Jimin smiles vaguely at him.
Jungkook earns a perplexed expression from the older when he says, "I don't celebrate Christmas, Jimin."
"Why?" He was astonished.
"Four years ago, my mother passed away a week before Christmas." Jungkook blankly tells him.
"I am so so sorry Jungkook. I should not have pried." Jimin's entire existence resonates with regret.
"Hey" Jungkook trudges towards him, "it's okay. It's not your fault. You possibly would not have known. Moreover, it has been four years now."
"You can come with me when I go to pay my respects to mother."
"I-I mean if you are comfortable." Jungkook stutters a bit, fiddling with his fingers
"It would be my pleasure. I will go with you." Jimin assuredly puts his hand over Jungkook's.
"I don't want you to miss your flight. Go now. Hurry. And once again, good luck!" Jungkook tries to hush the older.
"Thank you so much Jungkook." Jimin's eyes somewhat get teary for some reason as he leaves Jungkook behind, visualizing perhaps about the day he will say his final goodbye to the man he has begun to have feelings for. The handsome, kind-hearted man.

Do you like Jimin's Character better or Jungkook's? And why?
One of my friend had Oli London as a character in her story and when she told me about it I told her that I was also thinking to introduce him in my story.
But it was not planned to feature him in this one. I don't hate Oli London. Usually I see people hating on him. Why? Just because he is obsessively crazy over Jimin? I mean who is not? Enough of my ramble.
Next update tomorrow, as promised!
