"Hey Y/NN, CEO-nim told me he'd like to have a talk with you for an upcoming project. You'll make your acting debut! It has been half a year since you've signed the contract as an actress here, was it worth the wait?"

Jisoo cheered, flailing her arms around in excitement as if she was the one who's up into a new drama. The older girl hugged her sister, proud of the milestone Y/N had reached.

Y/N was also happy. She even gasped in surprise upon hearing the news, she would officially be an actress. A dream she wanted to achieve next to being an idol.

The younger Kim hugged back her sister, in the verge of crying due to happiness, "I'm so excited, eonni! What if I'd also be in the new drama you are currently filming for? It'd be fun working with you!"

"Just by thinking of it, it indeed sounds fun! We'll never know until we finally finished the little meeting with CEO-nim. I gotta tell this to the boys," The older quickly took out her phone, excited to tell both Seungmin and Jin about the news.

Just right after Jisoo messaging the two boys, Y/N's phone rang as she excused herself for a while. She answered, "Hello?"

"Y/N-ah, it's me, Sadness unnie. Are you busy?" The person in the other line asked.

Y/N felt like her heart skipped a beat upon talking with their previous manager again. It has been a while and is indeed surprising for her to call when they were already out of business.

"Oh uh, not really. But I do have a meeting in a while, why did you called, eonni? Is there something wrong?"

For some unknown reason, she felt giddy and all. That feeling you get when you felt that something is wrong but for Y/N, it was the opposite of it. Was it because she heard their manager's voice again? Or because of some other things?

"Is that so? I'll have to go talk with YG then. I'll head over there, wait for me okay? Alright, see you."

Not even letting Y/N response, the older girl bidded her goodbye as she dropped the call. Y/N was left dumbfounded.

"Hey, you good?"

Jisoo worriedly asked as she examined her sister who seemed to be frozen, "Yoohoo, Y/N are you there?" The older waved her hand in front of Y/N's face as the said girl finally snapped out of her trance.

"I'll ask again, are you okay? You seemed disturbed," Jisoo patted Y/N's head, the girl smiling in process, "I'm fine, eonni. Manager Unnie just called me. It was so sudden, I didn't know what to do."

Y/N chuckled which turned into a hysterical laugh when Jisoo reacted. Her mouth opened wide as her eyes also went big due to how surprised she was, "Omo! What did she said?"

"I...I can't exactly understand to be honest," Y/N scratched her head out of embarrassment. Jisoo flicked her on the forehead, "You dork, why didn't you even asked? Were you really listening to her?"

"That's not what I meant! What I mean is, she didn't leave any explanation at all. She just asked if I was busy and she told me she'll come over here to talk with the CEO."

"Ooh, isn't that intriguing. I wonder what it is," the older girl cooed. "Anyway, we should wait for her and find out what she's gonna do."

"Oh Kim Nayeon-ssi, what brings you here? Is there anything you need?"

Hyunsuk asked as the girl entered his office, "I came to bargain. I just had a call from my work place, it's about IZ*ONE which you may know that it is Y/N's previous group."

The man nodded his head in understandment, gesturing for Nayeon to sit down on one of the chairs in front of him. The stated news seemed to be important and should be seriously talked about.

"Please do continue, I'm listening."

Both the Kim sisters were in the dance studio, dancing and playing around with the rest of BlackPink members while they have a free time.

It was a usual fun hangout until someone turned off the music, making the girls stop from whatever they were doing.

They all diverted their attention towards the staff who just interrupted their time as he bowed, "I'm sorry for disturbing but I came to call Kim Y/N-ssi as ordered by the CEO."

Y/N's eyes went wide, not really sure why she was suddenly being called out by the CEO. Has she done something wrong? But what could she done wrong when there's still nothing for her to do?

"Follow me, please," the staff told as Y/N hesitated for a while before following the guy, leaving the other girls behind who seemed to be dumbfounded nevertheless continued dancing like they're in some party.

After walking around the hallways that seemed to be endless, they finally reached the CEO's office as the staff opened the door for the girl. There she was, finding herself in a room with their previous manager and the CEO himself.

She was nervous, why was she here?

"Please take a sit, Y/N. We'd like to clear some things with you."

The mentioned sat down in front of Nayeon as ordered by the man. "Miss Kim Nayeong over here, came to bargain. She'd like to clear the schedule I settled up for you today for you to be able to your previous workplace."

Y/N gave the two a questioning face. One eyebrow quirked up as her head was slightly tilted to the side, expressing her confusion.

"The company decided to relaunch IZ*ONE," Nayeon stated, "After clearing off some things with the companies who disagreed with the contract extension, the fans held up a funding project to help relaunch IZ*ONE which eventually worked and convinced the companies to renew the group's contract."

She finishes off with a reassuring smile. The said news made the younger girl froze in surprise, "W-what?"

"You heard me right. The reason why I came to fetch you was because we're going to have a meeting with the other girls about this contract renewal. They're waiting for you back there, Y/N-ah."

Nayeon clarified as she watched how Y/N looked vulnerable in a minute. She was so happy, she's reuniting with the girls again after months.

"The bargaining didn't actually worked, it came out more like an excuse. Your meeting with him still continues and the meeting with us will be after his'. I'll be waiting for you down at the ground floor. Congratulations in advance, you'll be making your acting debut soon!"

Nayeon then left after leaving the statement, using the elevator as she came down the gorund floor. Waited for Y/N until her meeting with Hyunsuk ends.

"You seriously could've just move the meeting in another day, Sajang-nim. My sister needs to reunite with her other family after months! Don't you know what that feels like? And you're there to ruin the moment."

Jisoo complains confidently as Hyunsuk heaves a deep sigh, Y/N scratched her nape in embarrassment whilst taking her sister out with her from the CEO's office, not forgetting to bow.

"You don't have to do that, eonni," Y/N facepalmed, "Admit it or not, you want to say it on his face too," Jisoo snickered before ruffling her sister's hair.

The younger girl only shook her head whilst chuckling at the older, the two went to where Sadness unnie is, ready to meet the girls once again after not seeing each other due to their own hectic schedules.

"You ready?" Nayeon asked the bunny who furiously nodded as she chuckled, "We'll get going now, I'll bring your sister back safely after the meeting, Kim Jisoo-ssi." Then the two left YG with Jisoo proudly looking at her sister with teary eyes.

It's been a while, Y/N thought while looking at the front building of her previous workplace.

She walked along with their manager with a smile, she couldn't hide her excitement away when she heard that IZ*ONE will be back in business again. It was like a dream.

The two walked through the hallways until they reached the meeting room. Once Nayeon opened the door, there revealed ten girls on their seats patiently waiting for Y/N to arrive.

All diverted their attention towards the door when it opened, revealing the last person they were expecting to come.

Everyone had smiles on their faces finally knowing that everyone was here, except for the Japanese girls who couldn't come back to Korea after the given news.

"Y/NN!"

The girls cheered as they all stood up, running to the girl as they had a group hug like what they always do back then.

Tears were already streaming down their faces, they've reunited once again and who wouldn't be emotional to this kind of moment? It was unforgettable.

"I...I've missed you guys!" The youngest told, tightly hugging back Eunbi who was already soaking her clothes. "Believe me, we did too!" said Chaewon as she wiped her tears away, violently sniffing which made the girls laugh.

"Okay but seriously, we have to finish the meeting immediately in order to go work as IZ*ONE again!"

Hyewon cheered sitting back down on her previous seat as the others followed. Looking at each other admiringly, studying each others' faces again after not seeing for a long time.

They called the Japanese members for them to join their meeting, it was a nice reunion filled with both smiles and tears. Although it was a happy one.

Talking about their contract renewal, they couldn't but smile that goes all the way up to their ears. They were very thankful to the fans who never failed them and never stopped loving them.

IZ*ONE eventually came back to business as a full group. With the help of the fans, they were able to make more new memories with each other.

The journey of the thirteen girls continues along with their shining stars who continuously guides their way to the light.
