- Chapter 5 :

I paced around the room with my hand behind my back as I clenched my teeth. I had tried to get up when that Hoseok man practically forced me back into the couch and told me to stay for lunch since I looked so skinny and frail.

I really had no choice and his smile started to get intimidating. I felt guilt well up inside me. People were always taking care me since birth, I was never able to help others or raise anyone, it was pathetic. I only wanted to be useful and being here was a setback to these boys.

"Ah excuse me!" The boy names Jimin came towards me. After the man known as Yoongi left, all the boys introduced themselves and I meekly nodded, deciding to stay quiet. I faced Jimin as he stopped and handed me a paper. "Can you write us your name?" He asked politely and I gulped, slowly reaching for the board.

He seemed to sense me y hesitation as he pulled it away before smiling lovingly at me, "If you want you can write a nickname, it doesn't have to be your real name." He whispered and I nodded, taking the board and thinking for a moment before hastily writing a name I've always liked.

"Yoonie"

I slowly edged the board back to Jimin who smiled upon the name. He seriously smiled too much, it was cute but made me curious of how a person could live so happily and smile all the time. He looked up onto me eyes and spoke, "Come join us for lunch then Yoonie, and keep this board with you incase you need to tell us something." He mentioned and I nodded, grabbing the board and walking behind him.

I was still confused upon why they'd invite me to eat with them when I had already caused them this much trouble. It made no sense. Maybe I was indeed overthinking it but I didn't trust and I don't plan on starting now. I've had too many incidents prove to me that no one cane be trusted.

Jimin halted in front of a door and so did I, stopping before my face went straight into his back. He carefully set his hand on the know before pausing and facing me, pointing to the board, "Any questions so far?" I took advantage of the situation and asked him the thing that had been bugging me this whole time.

"Why are you being so nice to me? I'm sure I'm just wasting your time." I nearly wrote and he frowned upon it, shaking his head. "We just wanted to help you since you seemed to lost and sad. Ask you seems nice so I'm sure we aren't wasting anyone's time." He replies before eyeing the door again.

"Anything else?" He confirmed and I shook my head, not sure on what to think of these mysterious men. They seemed nice but I kept my hopes low, reminding myself that I learnt that there were no good people in this world at a young age. He nodded before twisting the knob and opening the door.

Oh god I just want to go sleep in the damn park is that too much to ask for?

***

Yoongi rubbed his hands together in anticipation as he helped himself to a bowl of food, slightly smiling as he hugged his neck pillow closer to him. He could feel Jungkook and Hoseok whispering about him from their perches and he restrained the need to throw his chopsticks at them.

He'd just get them next time.

The door abruptly creaked open and Yoongi paused and looked up, raising his brow in annoyance. He found Jimin walking in and sighed as he looked down. However a new set of foot steps echoed and he frowned to find the mute girl enter the room, looking down at her feet.

She fiddled with her fingers as she sat next to Jimin and Namjoon, meekly nodding at them. Yoongi noticed that she seemed nervous and tense as if she didn't want to be here. He didn't understand why she looked so deathly skinny, unhealthy, and uninterested so instead he starting munching on his food while watching her from his peripheral vision.

"So what's your name?" Jungkook commented and the girl slightly jumped before reaching for her white board and scribbling something. Yoongi realized that she really was mute. Yoongi squinted at her name as he couldn't help think that it sounded similar to his.

"So Yoonie, how old are you?" Jin questioned before stuffing some food in her bowl. He must've noticed how skinny she was as well. The girl seemed surprised at his act before she flustered and wrote on her board again, blushing at his kind gesture.

"22" It read and Yoongi sighed in satisfaction that the girl was younger than him. He found it comforting for some reason. The boys made a fuss of what to call her like they'd see her while Yoongi kept analyzing the girl, finding it interesting to do.

Their lunch finally ended and Yoongi took note that Yoonie had a hard time finishing her food, probably meaning that she didn't eat correctly. Yoongi frowned as he motioned for the door, eager to go and sleep for a few hours before waking to work again.

"Yoongi hyung wait! Since your going first could you take Yoonie out the dorm through the back?" Hoseok called in amusement and Yoongi's eye twitched. Hoseok had probably watched him watch the girl and assumed something stupid. Yoongi breathed heavily before nodding and turning with a straight face.

"Fine." He commented and Yoonie walked to him, head down. Yoongi sighed before leading Yoonie out,
wondering why he had to lead the pathetic girl out.

God all I wanted to do was sleep damnit.
