- Chapter 30 :

I could hear screaming and whimpers in the background, my surroundings finally coming into a clear. I still kept my eyes shut however, trying to hear the conversation going on next to me.

"What do you mean? She's okay now!" My mind was still fuzzy and I wasn't able to picture who's voice it was. Instead, I focused on listening and not falling asleep or groaning from the killer headache heading my way.

"Did you see her when we got back? She was bleeding from cutting herself! She cut herself! You should've seen Yoongi!" A new voice angrily ranted. Well this meant that neither people talking were Yoongi.

"I honestly don't even know anything about her at this point. She's never even tried to socialize with us!" The first voice exclaimed, frustrated. A pang of guilt hit me in my gut as I nibbled on my lip. I was just different.

"Hey. Stop now. Just get Yoongi to talk to her and I'm sure it'll be fine." The second voice had gone soft and sympathetic, taking my side. I resolved to find out who the two men were later as the first one huffed and they both left, leading me to open my eyes.

Why exactly were they even in my room? As I searched the table, I found a pain pill and several glasses of water and a plate of food. Oh.

As I reached for a glass of water, the door creaked open and I looked up to find Yoongi, closing the door. When he turned to face me, his hair was covering his face and I couldn't get a glimpse at his expression.

"Y-Yoongi?" I stuttered, nervous. I wouldn't be surprised if he was mad or furious at me. I'd understand it if he screamed at me. As long as he forgave me again, I'd be fine. He wouldn't be too mad, right?

I opened my mouth to ask him once again if he was okay, however the moment a word slipped off my tongue, his head flashed up and the light of the lamp next to me splayed all over his face.

I sucked in a breath when I saw his rage filled face. Holy shit. "What the fuck were you thinking?" He angrily snapped as he padded over to me in a beeline. My heart sunk as I pulled the covers farther above my face.

Yoongi quickly took hold of my blanket and stripped me of it, growling something under his breath. I covered by bringing my hand over my face and let out a sob. He was going to hit me.

I had flashbacks of my parents and their unforgiving frowns as they brought their hands down upon me. Not again, every time I give my heart to someone, this happens.

***

Yoongi paused the minute she told him not to hit her. He wasn't going to hit her. He was furious, frustrated, but he didn't plan on hitting her. He'd never do something like that to the girl he gave his heart to.

He knew that she had trauma from her past, but the fact that she thought he'd be like one of the demons she faced in her life, brought anger to him. Did she not even trust him that much? "Jihee. Look at me." Yoongi commanded, voice cold and low.

Jihee slowly looked up when she was sure he wouldn't harm her. "Do you not trust me at all?" Yoongi tried speaking coldly, but flinched when a strand of hurt passed into his words. Jihee's eyes clouded and she shook her head no, but her eyes said everything.

She didn't trust anyone.

Yoongi heavily breathed as he looked around. "So even know how scared I was when I come into the dorm, only to see you bleeding and unconscious. Is it all about you? Do you never think about anyone else? It's all about your pain but you don't think of what kind of pain others around you go through? How selfish can you be?" Yoongi rambled in anger, letting his thoughts out at the girl.

Jihee looked down in shame. He wasn't lying, everything he was saying was true and she couldn't really do anything about it. She was selfish indeed. "I'm sorry." "No you're not." Yoongi seethed. "You'd never be sorry because you don't understand what others feel." Yoongi snapped, massaging his forehead with his hand.

"I can't do this anymore." Jihee snapped her head up at Yoongi's claim. "W-What do y-you mean?" Jihee nervously asked. She didn't expect it to go this bad. She knew he was mad and she welcomed that anger, but now what?

"I want to stay close to you and love you, but you're making this hard for you, me, and the rest of the dorm. They don't think of you so highly anymore, Bang PD is confused on why we're keeping you here, and I-I can't look after you if you keep doing things like this." Yoongi breathed, sitting at the edge of Jihee's feet as he placed his face in his hands, shaking his head gingerly.

"Yoongi no please don't." Jihee knew somewhere in her that he was right and that she couldn't stop herself. But she still wanted to be with him, she wanted his love, she wanted Min Yoongi.

"I'm sorry Jihee but this is for the well-being of us both. I'm breaking up with you." Jihee felt tears spill as she bit her lip to stop her sobbing. Yoongi leaned over and hugged her, leaving a small kiss on her lips. And from the way he did so, she knew it was the last time he'd ever do it. Jihee felt her heart break and completely vanish and she held onto him, not letting him go.

"No don't go!" She sobbed into his sweater as he only sucked in a breath before saying the next sentence that would completely break them both. He loved Jihee with everything he had, but this was needed. For both of them.

"And leave. Don't come back. Never come back. Forget about me, Jihee.

Forget about us."
