- Chapter 27 :
My feet automatically followed Yoongi, my eyes trained on his back. What he wanted to talk about, I didn't know. I had nothing to expect either. I wasn't sure if my heart could take any more breaking.
The members watched us as we slowly marched out, as of walking to a funeral. Thanks for the support! I felt a small bust of pain attack the side of my head as I discreetly applied pressure to the spot with my palm. So, the side effects were beginning now, huh?
An awkward smile graced my lips as I felt proud I was able to live this long without medications after practically feasting on them for years. Yoongi paused and opened the door to a random room as I carefully trail after him.
I shut the door and tentatively faced him, waiting for him to talk. The faster this was over, the better for us both. Yoongi took his sweet time for sure, twisting his hands, turning to the window and doing anything to avoid me. I was the same to say the least, my head was aimed at the ground as I occasionally looked up to stare at him.
Either of us decided to start a conversation, and I didn't know what exactly to do in that moment. My eyes wandered to his perplexed face once more. His pink tongue quickly swiped out and wet his lips as he looked to the shelves, thinking deeply about something. Damn his hotness.
Yoongi finally met my glance, out eyes interlocking. This time, my lip wavered and I urged myself to be strong. I wouldn't ask for him to forgive me, I wouldn't be weak for once. However, the minute Yoongi's face broke into a look of pain, I lost it.
I automatically wrapped myself around him once more, mentally slapping myself for being so weak. However the pure pained face her had expressed told me everything he couldn't say in words.
He was sorry.
And so, I wasn't surprised when his arms wrapped around my body as well, pulling me closer to him. I smiled a little as I took a shaky breath. It was weird, this way of communication, but it worked and that was what mattered in the end.
"So are we okay now?" I whispered against his chest as he stiffened. I looked up to him with curiosity in my eyes as he nodded and hid his face in the crook of my neck, taking a long breath.
"I want to ask you something." Yoongi breathed against my neck as I tried to ignore the feeling it gave me. Instead, I gave my full attention to Yoongi and hummed back, "What?"
Yoongi straightened, but pulled me against him even closer. All I could see was his shirt material as he took another shaky breath. Was he even okay? "Yoongi?" I softly called out as he poked my head. "Give me a minute." He replied as I stood in silence, wondering what he'd ask me.

Yoongi knew there was more to what Jin had told him even though he didn't want to admit it. He remembered the other part to what Jin has advised
him to do.
Flashback:
"Also Yoongi, if she reciprocates your feelings, make her yours so that you can't loose her." Jin suggested, stretching against the comfortable material of the bed.
Yoongi paused, looking at the elder boy. "What do you mean hyung?" He questioned, knowing what Jin meant, but not sure if that was the message he was trying to convey. After all, it was Jihee they were talking about.
Jihee was more delicate than a flower and easier to break than paper. Yoongi didn't know if he'd be able to take care of her. However, Jin only shook his head and turned to the side, becoming comfortable on the mattress.
"I think you know what I mean. Make sure she can't leave you and make sure you make her not want to leave you. Or any of us for that fact." Jin shrugged, getting ready to lie down. Usually, Yoongi would scold Jin for lying down on his bed, but he was too busy interpreting Jin's words.
He finally knew what he had to do, he now only had to figure out how and when to do so.
End of Flashback:
Yoongi only stroked Jihee's hair gingerly. He knew he had to ask her soon as she was probably getting he wrong idea about the whole thing. Yoongi held her tighter, imagining her to be a teddy bear he could cuddle with as he parted his lips to speak.
"Jihee, wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked bluntly, not sure how to slowly ask. He might as well get over with it and either get rejected or said okay to. He didn't want to waste time on the introduction and sweet cringiness.
He felt Jihee freeze in front of him and he too froze, not daring to take a breath afraid that he'd somehow scare her even more than he already had. Jihee began breathing shallowly again, and Yoongi followed, wondering why he was so nervous over one girl.
"Do you mean it?" Jihee coolly responded, not stuttering, but her voice high pitched and cracking. Yoongi stifled a laugh at how scared she was before nodding and nuzzling her hair once, the gesture full of affection. "Of course I do." Yoongi replied honestly, giving her head a pat.
"Um. . ." Yoongi held his breath and waited for her to give him his answer.
". . .okay." Jihee whispered, hugging Yoongi in embarrassment. Yoongi froze for a second before he let out his gummy smile, squeezing Jihee in a hug and then letting go.
"That's great, I'll make sure you never cry now. And I'll make sure to uncover the truth about you." Yoongi whispered the last two parts to himself and he hugged Jihee again, smiling at the shy smiling girl. It was a start though, it was the largest smile he'd ever seen from her.
For now, that was enough.
