Jayden burst into the lobby immediately he heard screams and noises. From what he had heard, he could tell a fight was going on. That was the time you would see borders in a bubbly mood. Whenever something crazy was going on.

Taking a clearer view he spots Leo with his hand on his left cheek, blood oozing from his nose. With Nathan staring dagger at him. It doesn't take him time to analyze what just happened. He knew in few minutes the Potter would be in the hostel.

Normally the person's in charge of stopping such development In the hostels were the prefects or seniors, but it seemed more like they were the ones conducting it. What did you expect them to do? It was one of their own. Hypocrisy, if it were to be an SS2 student, which they always looked forward to handling. Trust them to show themselves.

Jayden who didnt understand what the matter was, walks slowly to the scene.

Leo? Fighting

Why?

In a blink of an eye, Nathan rushes Leo landing a blow on his arm. Jayden watched Leo's facial expression change into a frown immediately. He looked so angry, he had never seen this side of him before. Also, Ashley starts pulling Nathan back, whispering something into his ears.

"If you are not in SS3, get out of this place!" Came an Ss3 students, although Jayden didn't know his name, but knew he was an SS3 student.

They could hear some murmurings and groans.

"You people won't allow us to enjoy drama small." Jayden heard a Junior who walked by him say.

Nathan pushes Ashley away, this was due to a statement Leo made. Jayden couldn't hear, because he was far. He starts walking over to them.

"Let me deal with this idiot. Do we look like age mates in any way?" Nathan threatening voice is heard. This followed by a punch on Leo's face. Funny enough Leo doesn't move, he only stares back at Nathan, he doesn't even return the blow.

"Nathan, leave him alone na, stop it." Daniel a student from Art class says. Jayden recognized him, they all went for the competition together. The look Nathan gave the boy that moment was capable of burying him.

"Wasted sperm. You know that's what you are. And I know, you don't need me to voice it out all the time. Even your father knows it." Leo blurts out smiling.

Jayden heard this clearly this time.

Why won't Nathan punch him again?

That statement was hurtful.

"Lowlife!" Nathan tries to attack Leo, while Ashley and Dashlin holds him down.

"You sure know, I don't just want to fight with you. God knows I would break those legs of yours." Leo says immediately.

"Look at this riff rat. Talking to me, like is he high? Because we both know, I would beat you to pulp." Nathan threatens in rage.

"Stop holding him, allow him to come," Leo says smiling calmly. Although Jayden could tell it wasn't from his heart. He had come to know Leo, and the person talking now, wasn't the Leo he knew. Although the calmness was still evident.

That moment Nathan struggles, Dashlin lets go of him, but Ashley still blocks him, this makes him to push Ashley roughly before he launched towards Leo. Jayden found himself moving. If they weren't separated, shits would go down.

"What even caused this fight?" An Ss3 student asks. Meanwhile, Jayden concentrates ongoing to separate. Even God knew that, if not for the fact Leo was involved in this, he wouldn't have acted like he saw anything. He would have just minded his business.

Nathan pushed Leo that instant, throwing a blow which Leo dodged. At that moment Leo attempts to throw return to punch, but his hands stops have way, more like he just remembered something. His facial expression changes, while he lets his hand fall.

There is chills in the air.

"The nerve? You want to hit me. You want to fight me!" Nathan says and chuckles. "Leonardo, you want to fight me. He wants to exchange blows." Nathan laughs, meanwhile Jayden pulls Leo back a little bit.

Does this mean Nathan had been the only one throwing the punches?

"We both know what happened the last time you did it. Guy, try it!" Nathan says giving him a look, which showed anger and hatred.

That moment Jayden saw the very deep resemblance between them.
Nathan and Leo were definitely related, he had never had an incline. Because he hadn't really taken a good look at Nathan.

"Bastard," Nathan says. That same second, he yelps in pains.

The loud sound brought everyone back to reality. Leo had used the seat to hit Nathan had on his legs. The fact the seat wasn't wooden but iron, Jayden couldn't imagine the pains Nathan could be going through. One look at Leo, the person standing in front of him, was totally different from the one he knew.

He didn't look remorseful neither did he bulge, he only stared at Nathan in rage.

"You are just a Psychopath. Bastard. I swear I will kill you." Nathan staggers in pains, although he couldn't move, the look he gave Leo alone, was enough to kill him. The anger in his eyes was dominated by hatred. "Told you to stop using weapons. Why don't you come to me if you are a real man? Bastard." Nathan says.

Leo on the other hand releases a small smile and starts walking away. This made Jayden step back a bit.

"Look at him, he has already lost it. Leonardo, you need help. You are already crazy. You are mad. Just a walking corpse, I pity you." The last statement Nathan made seemed deep, like he meant it.

"I don't need your pity. Mind your fucking business and stay out of mine." Leo says from a distance.

"Where is that bastard Xavier. Either I kill him today or he kills me." Nathan suddenly says leaping. He looked charged up. This made Jayden wonder if he was normal, he couldn't even walk properly and was about to indulge in another fight.

He couldn't help but wonder what the cause of the problems" was, while he retraces his steps, back to the room.

"Cherish!"

She looks up immediately, even though she was partially aware of who just called her.

"Just help me take this outside and hang it." Senior Eva says handing her a pair of uniform. Which she receives without uttering a word. Meanwhile, Senior Eva watches her, making her uncomfortable.

She hadn't made any other move on her in a while, but the tension was there. She spent her time running away from Senior Ashley and his crew in school, only to come back to the hostel to continue hiding away from Senior Eva.

Senior Eva had always been a very nice person. Despite the tension between them, it hadn't changed a bit, she always came up to save her from the hands of Senior Ukeme or Eno, whenever they were on her case.

"Cherish?" Senior Eva calls out, bringing her back to reality. She only blinks, doesn't talk, and starts walking away. In no time she is at the line.

While she is about to hang the uniform on the line, she sights Zara squeezed at a corner, making her wonder what she was doing there all alone. Though she claimed she was going to class to read, even though it wasn't prep time yet.

She slowly walks down to where Zara stood, currently holding something which seemed like a pack of drug, on getting closer, she becomes sure that was what she was holding.

"Z..., "

How Zara flinched made her flinch in response involuntarily too.

"Cherish!" A small smile formed on Zara's face immediately, while she tried to squeeze in what she was holding.

"Are you sick?" Cherish asks observing the pack of drugs she had squeezed in her hands. Which Zara involuntarily released. Meanwhile, Cherish takes it away from her hand, taking her unawares.

"Postinor-1!" Cherish reads out loud, taking her eyes back to Zara, who was suddenly looking scared and uncomfortable, making Cherish wonder what was wrong with her.

"Are you sick? Is it for malaria? Was it given to you by the school?" Cherish asks, as naive as she could look. It was obvious she didn't know the use of what she had in her hands.

Zara only lets out a small forced smile.

"Are you sick?" Cherish repeats her question to Zara who just takes the pack away from her slowly.

"Yeah! It's for malaria." Zara responds without hesitation.

"Take it and rest now. You shouldn't go for prep tonight. Just tell matron instead of Senior Ukeme." Cherish says, fully aware Senior Ukeme won't even give them a listening ear.

"Don't worry, I am strong enough,h," Zara says taking a lead, meanwhile Cherish follows suit.

"Don't go there and fall." Cherish says.
Zara suddenly stops, making Cherish halt, looking very inquisitive as to why she stopped.

"Postinor-1 isn't an antimalarial drug." She suddenly says picking Cherish attention. Making her pay more attention, obviously with questions in her eyes.

"It prevents pregnancy," Zara says breaking an eye contact with a confused Cherish, who was clearly wondering where she got it from and when she started taking drugs to prevent pregnancy. She was aware Nathan already deflowed her but didn't have an idea if she had fully started indulging in pre-marital sex. They were just fourteen for crying out loud, also in Ss1. They hadn't gotten to any point in life.

"Are you pregnant?" Cherish shocks Zara by asking. You could see the shock on her face. Besides, that was the only thing, Cherish could think of.

"Noooo!" Zara defends immediately.

"Then what are you doing with that?" Cherish asks looking at the drug like it was a time bomb, which was waiting to explode.

"I took it to prevent what I just you about."Zara rushes her words and starts walking away. It was obvious she wasn't comfortable having that conversation with her best friend which was weird, friends shared everything.

But she had been keeping a lot from Cherish these days. The fear of being judged contributed immensely to it.

"Zara, are you having sex with a boy?" Cherish asks. You could see she was struggling so hard to pronounce the word "Sex"

The look Zara gave her that instance, made the atmosphere tensed.

"Reduce the sound of your voice,." Zara says in a hush tone.

"Who gave it to you?" Cherish asks trying to imitate her calm voice.

"Cherish stop looking at me like I am a devil." Zara suddenly says, you could tell she seemed very uncomfortable now, meanwhile Cherish licks her dry lips. "You are just being a baby. Sex is normal." Zara says, meanwhile Cherish just blink.

Was she hearing things?

She clearly wasn't, Zara of all people. A pastor's daughter. A full advocate of God, while they were still in Junoir class, also a virgin back then, someone who always talked to her about God and keeping her pride for her husband, was telling her sex was normal. It was shocking.

"In case you need it, it's in my, ox," Zara says hurrying up.

"Jesus. No! What would I need such for?" Cherish asks her voice very tiny?

"After having sex with a boy," Zara responds in a sassy tone.

"I don't want to have sex with a boy." Cherish says defensively, in a childish tone.

"Then who do you want to have sex with?" Zara turns to her with a strange look. "An Uncle, man or grandpa." She chuckles. Cherish understood that was supposed to be a joke.

"Stop. I don't want to do that until..., "

"When you get married?" Zara asks and laughs. "Cherish, you might be the only girl in our class that's still a virgin. It's not cool. We have to be cool." Zara says walking alongside Cherish. "It's sweet you know. At first, it's painful, but after then, it's very sweet." Zara says and laughs acting like a little child, pushing Cherish playfully. Meanwhile, Cherish takes note of everything she says.

"I mean when I am ready, " Cherish says completing her previous statement.

"Also being kissed!" Zara says. "I forgot, you haven't tried it before." Zara says calmly, also reminding Cherish of Senoir Eva and the fact she was mistaken.

The tension in the air between Nathan and Xavier was very obvious, the four boys stand at their normal spot. Neither Nathan nor Xavier had said a word to each other since the fight with Leo.

Ashley knew he wasn't in the position to interfere, they both had to sort their issues themselves.

"Omo, Nathan! My money oh. Abi your two weeks hasn't been completed. Is she unfuckable?" Dashlin suddenly asks in a mock tone.

This could have been a huge distraction to Ashley, if not for the fact, the person in questions was his cousin.

Nathan only laughs.

"Eh, use laugh to cover it. It hasn't worked, it hasn't worked!" He repeats. "Stop hyping yourself," Dashlin says, meanwhile Nathan just chuckles.

Ashley suddenly moves bask immediately he sights someone, he quickly excuses himself, and walks out.

"Cherish!"

He noticed her pause immediately, turning to him with an anxious look on his face. She was currently by herself.

"Can you come to the library after school? I want to talk to you." He talks without thinking. His voice calm and collective. He didn't miss the confusion on her face.

Another question he couldn't help but ask himself was, why he even invited her in the first place. He had nothing to say to her.

Jewel feels the chills run through her spine, immediately he walked into the classroom, she was suddenly feeling cold. To top it all the who class was noisy, everyone discussing with their friends or seatmates. As usual, she had no one do discuss with.

Geraldine was busy with Munachi and Nengi. They hadn't even spared themselves a glance since she got back. Jewel had noticed, she was no longer as affected as she used to be.

She averts her eyes immediately he starts walking over to her seat, reminding her they were seatmates. She couldn't have a proper rest, since yesterday she still had what transpired between them in her heart. She couldn't shake it off. It was just a moment she couldn't comprehend.

He kissed her and walked away. The second guy who has ever kissed her lips.

And she freaking kissed him back? She freaking kissed him back. This had been bothering her, what impression did she send to him. She couldn't even think of making an eye contact with him. She didn't know what came over her when he kissed. He was just too rough, and it made her arch and yearn for more that moment.

She felt really ashamed of herself.

She felt him drop his bag on the desk, making her shift, involuntarily aiming at giving him space to seat, which a normal Jewel would never have done, until after exchanging words with the supposed person, even though it was the right thing to do.

Immediately he sits down, her heartbeat increases. Silently hoping it wasn't something audible, that he couldn't hear it.

"Did Mrs Anita give any note?"

Jewel paused at that moment.

"Jewel!" He calls out slowly.

Why was he talking to her?

When did they turn into talking partners?

Making up her mind, she turns to his direction. She blinks immediately they made eye contact.

He didn't look affected. The look on his face seemed like nothing was up between them, like they didn't even see each other not to talk of forcing tongues into each other's mouth. He just looked like the calm and normal Leo she knew. The one she could intimidate without even doing anything.

"Sorry!" He says now facing his direction. She felt bad that instant. Ignoring him wasn't new but normal, but things weren't going the way they used to.

She could still imagine the way his lips felt on hers, now they were sitting so close, and it was like nothing ever happened.

What did he think of himself?

Was she trash?

Or someone he could just walk up to and initiate a kiss with.

Now it became more clear, she didn't only humiliate herself but also did it with the least person, she was supposed to pull such a stunt with. Since he helped her with her ankle and the rain, she had stopped giving him some kind of attitude she always did. But this was on a high scale.

"Ah, New corpers oh! Hot one's." Jewel recognised the voice immediately. She found herself, turning to Nathan's direction. He was looking ravishing as usual. One of the boys with top swags in the school. Nathan's was always on a high level. His aura, the way he carried himself was another thing.

That instant their eyes meets. He released a smile, which brought out a smile to her face, she also hoped no one noticed it. That instant he starts walking in her direction, this makes her heart almost skip a beat. She looked anxious, although she tried her best to hide it.

On getting to her seat, the air seemed rather too hot. Most members of their class were busy, so weren't paying attention, but Jewel could still feel some eyes on them. Especially Leo who didn't even act or pretend like he wasn't looking at them, since Nathan settled in their presence.

That instant, Nathan deep his hands into his pocket, brings out and hands out a piece of paper, which he drops under her desk, not breaking eye contact. Slowly he turns to Leo, both give each other a look, which she couldn't understand, the only thing she noticed was Leo look away. He doesn't talk, he simply walks away.

Jewel found herself tapping the table anxiously. She could feel Leo turn to her, she couldn't tell the look he had, but he simply looks away that instant.

Jewel feels her body get heated when he hugs her from behind. Her breath hitched that instant. She could feel him wrap his hands sneakily around her waist. She hadn't stepped into this particular hall in the school before. She didn't even have an idea of what the purpose of it was. As usual, it was empty.

This was the exact place Nathan had asked her to meet him in the paper. She felt him trace her neck down with kisses, which makes her legs wobbly. In no time he slowly makes her turn to him, bringing their face a few inches away.

He drops a tiny kiss on her lips, bitting it slowly. This makes her heart beat abnormally.

"If I asked you to be my girl, what will be your response?" Nathan asks slowly taking Jewel aback.

Did he just ask her out?

Did freaking Nathan, not anyone Nathan Otedola just asks her out?

How her heart raced that moment, was uncontrollable.

"Jewel, please be my girlfriend. I really like you a lot. Let's put a tag to this sneaking around." Nathan says. That moment Jewel wanted to melt. The way she felt that moment was out of the word. It was so emotional. She felt speechless. Didn't know what to say. She liked him a whole lot, a lot was an understatement.

"Hey, you don't need to respond now." Nathan suddenly says flashing his one million dollar smile. The smile she was so crazy about. "I would wait, Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" He smirked, and she blushed that instant. Initiating a kiss, she notice he was taken aback, but with time he takes over.

He bites her lower lips kissing her slowly, meanwhile her brain analyses the whole situation. She pushes herself roughly towards him, increasing the pace of the kiss, she noticed him pause a moment and starts taking it slow. Meanwhile, she tries to increase the pace again.

She wanted him to kiss her roughly, like nothing ever mattered. She wanted him to kiss her hard, she wanted to forget about everything surrounding them, didn't care a teacher could have walked in on them.
