The boy's hostel is covered up in dust. Which seemed very unusual. More like the cleaners hadn't done anything about it. Which meant, they were the ones to handle it now.
He takes his time to clean his ceramic with a handkerchief, which wasn't going to be used again, after that.
Slowly his gaze falls on Leo's corner which was as rough as his. Remembering he didn't get to talk to Leo, he tried calling, but the line wasn't going through. Leo always resumed early. And it was getting late.
The principal had already given his welcome speech.
He only hope he was fine, especially after he heard about what happened to his brother. He didn't know Nathan much but hoped things weren't bad.
He spares a glance at Jason who just sat on the floor carelessly, going through a contraband product, his phone.
Phones weren't allowed, Jason seemed very engrossed in the phone he was holding.
He slowly turns to his bags and starts bringing out his provisions. His mind diverts to Geraldine. He did see her in the assembly hall, though she didn't see him.
They hadn't really spoken since the party.
"I don't like this, who removed the books I dropped here?" A student suddenly asks earning Jayden's attention.

Immediately Geraldine sights Jewel and Ekanem, she heads to their table, with her food. It was 3pm, they were having lunch.
The fact it didn't seem like a Monday morning, was another thing altogether. She had just been hearing small chats about a dead student.
To think neither Nathan nor Leo had resumed, this kept them in a very hot seat.
School wasn't the way it used to be. Not everyone had returned though. The way the governor lifted the lockdown was too soon. And the student returning to school part. Trust Nigerian and give themselves extra weeks.
"Hey!" Geraldine calls out directly to Jewel, sparing Ekanem a glance, while she dropped her tray.
She didn't miss some weird glances which were thrown on them. She expected that.
She and Jewel had stopped talking for a while, people seeing them suddenly together will bring about side talks, not to talk about Ekanem's case, which was the worst. Everyone knew they had an unspoken beef.
"Hey!" Jewel responds, her voice relatively low. Geraldine recognised the eye bags under her eyes, which she was seriously trying to cover with some makeover.
Ekanam on the other hand, only spares her a glance and turns to her food.
"Gidi!" She recognised the voice immediately. "I have been looking for you," Munachi says while she pulls a chair and sits.
Geraldine didnt miss Ekanem's facial expression, although she didnt see Jewel's.
"Girl, get up and leave." Ekanem blurts in a harsh tone, alarming Geraldine.
"What did I do wrong?" Munachi asks sparing Geraldine a glance, like she was expecting her to come to her rescue, which was true.
"Madam, get out if you don't want me to drag you myself," Ekanem says looking grim. All these while Jewel keeps mute. Geraldine finally remembers Ekamen and Munachi both have an unsolved issue.
Not to seem partial or rude, she speaks up.
"Ekanem, she..., "
"Can't you see Jewel isn't comfortable with her around? She should take her bad energy and get out a big." Ekanem rants.
Ekanem had always not had manners, Geraldine couldn't help but see reasons why she isn't even surprised.
"Is that why you are being rude? Can't you ask me nicely and calmly to leave, besides your Dad doesn't own this school." Munachi says without stopping to catch her breath.
"And if you don't get out right now, I will drag you out myself," Ekanem says without blinking.
"Munachi please, just don't argue further. I'm sorry, this isn't the right time." Geraldine says giving Munachi a calm look.
Meanwhile, Munachi doesn't respond, she just gets up and storms out, obviously triggered.
"Good riddance!" Ekanem blurts.
"There was no need to act all rude," Geraldine says, meanwhile Ekanem rolls her eyes.
Meanwhile, Geraldine's gaze falls on Jayden, both makes eye contact, she looks away immediately.
This was supposed to be her supposed boyfriend and they hadn't spoken since the party.
______________________ 🖊️
Immediately he saw her, she leaned onto the wall, meanwhile he pulls her slowly, into an empty classroom and shuts the door. She was obviously waiting for him, he had slipped a paper into her hand, during school hours. So he was expecting her.
They didn't have a lot of time. Prep wasn't observed, there was no proper guidance, so some students were busy jumping from pillar to post.
More like the prefects were tired of their duties.
"How are you?" He asks wrapping his hand around her waist. He couldn't believe this was happening, especially when he thought, he had lost her for good.
"Fine, you?" She asks breaking eye contacts meanwhile he smiled. Cherish actually continued the conversation. On a normal day, she would have just ended it with fine.
"I missed you!" He says honestly, meanwhile she blushes, he doesn't miss it. Her fair skin gave everything out. She was looking like a ripe tomato.
He noticed how uncomfortable she suddenly looked when they heard walking steps.
Ashley wasn't bothered, it was normal for her to be worried. She was a junior after all and was bound to be uncomfortable being caught.
"Your forehead keeps increasing daily," Ashley says touching it, meanwhile she chuckles. They weren't hearing the steps anymore. She giggles when he drops a kiss on it.
She tries to hide how shy she was. She hadn't gotten used to him touching or kissing her.
"My Dad said I will pull out by the end of the term." She says slowly, meanwhile Ashley's facial expression changes.
He was extremely happy when he saw she had resumed, he even thought her parents were over that. Hearing this, his heart broke a million times, and his facial expression revealed it, he couldn't hide it anymore.
"Because of the pandemic and how far the term has gone..., "
"Let's not talk about it." He cuts her off, pulling her into his arms. He noticed how she relaxed in his arms. Both silent, he didn't want to talk about the probability of losing her, it scared him.
"What if they lock the hostel?" She suddenly asks, making him smile at how tiny her voice was.
Most times he felt, Cherish was way off his league, that he didn't deserve her. She was just too innocent, sweet and naive. He felt like he was a poison to her life, and wouldn't do anything good but create issues for her.
Her Aunt walking in on them, the other day was a perfect example. He had caused a lot of issues for her. Now because of him, she was getting pulled out.
"You know I love you right?" He pauses immediately he noticed he had admitted his real feelings to her. He noticed how stiff she had become.
While she held unto him like a shield, neither of them said a word to another. His mind drifts down to his decision with Xavier.
He was hoping Nathan was fine now, according to Xavier Nathan was attacked by some guys who were after Xavier, he didn't really understand the full story, but believed it had something to do with Xavier's dealings, even though Xavier refused to explain what really happened.
There was no news of Nathan yet, he only prayed he was fine. Nathan was one of his close friends.
Cherish pulls away slowly, bringing him back to reality. Immediately she looked up to him, he had to hold himself back to kiss those plump lips.
Which felt very difficult on his side.
"Let's go." He suggests trying to stop any temptation of kissing her.
She clings onto him like a leach, in a possessive way. It was obvious she didn't know what she was doing.
"My Mum said we shouldn't be doing this." Cherish suddenly says surprising him with the topic, especially when she stops walking.
He doesn't respond, obviously waiting for her to say something else.
"That I am too young for this."
The innocence in her voice.
"We aren't doing bad things," Ashley says trying to use the words she was going to understand perfectly. "I told you we weren't going to have sex." He says, he noticed how her eyes grew wide open. It was hilarious, but this was a serious topic and sensitive topic with his girlfriend, he shouldn't ruin it.
"The other day?" She asks. It was obvious she had that question in mind. Because immediately she said it, she looked like she had let out a big burden.
"I wasn't planning on us going further, it was merely making out." He pauses. "Besides I will never try that without your consent." He explains.
One look at Cherish, he couldn't believe this little girl had him wrapped in her tiny fingers. She had him hard. Cherish had succeeded in making him head over hills.
"It's late." She suddenly says. It was obvious she wasn't comfortable with the look he was giving her.

“Hey, pick that.”
Geraldine say to a junior student, who had littered some pieces of papers on the floor. She was on duty.
The day was a sunny one. Though airy. She felt the cool breeze grease her skin.
Her eyes suddenly meets with something, or rather say someone in particular. Thissen ct chills into her body.
“Senior Gidi, ” A junior student calls out.
Was she dreaming?
No, she was seeing things.
She had to tell herself that.
“Senior Gidi, ” The junior students calls out again.
“Senior Nathan, ” Someone calls out from nowhere.
She wasn't hearing things also.
He had a bandage wrapped around his head.
The fact he resumed looking like that wasn't the problem. It's been over a week.
A week of sleepless night, worry and guilt. She didn't know about Jewwk or Ekanem, but it had been hell for her.
Though she had hopes, since the school hadn't announced anything, things were fairly fine. Nathan was the DSP boy, so they was no way, they didn't keep in touch that much.
Nathan wasn't dead.
He was very much alive,
Did she want him dead?
Now he seemed to just appear from nowhere.
She is left speechless.
"Senior Gidi!" This time around the junior students taps her, bringing her back to reality.
"Yes?" She says absent-minded.
"Mrs Adanne said you are needed in her office." The student whose name she had no idea of says.
She also didn't know why Mr Adanne wanted to see her. Her gaze were suddenly on Nathan, who meets her's. The look he gave her at that moment, wasn't funny at all. It was deadly.
She felt like disappearing, she had to find Jewel and Ekanem as soon as possible.
He doesn't break eye contact, she was almost peeing on herself when he passed her. The look he gave her, was obvious he was very much aware of everything.

Geraldine watches Ekanem and Jewel argue without uttering a word, even though she felt the need to.
They had stabbed class and sneaked back into the hostel, immediately she alerted them that Nathan was in school. Although neither of them had seen him. Jewel was shaky already. It was obvious she wasn't mentally ready to see him.
"We should talk to someone about it," Ekanem says slowly.
"I don't want to talk about anything," Jewel says for the umpteenth time. "Nothing happened." She says letting tears roll down her cheek.
"What do you mean by nothing happened?" Ekanem asks while she cleans her tears. "That bastard raped you and almost did the same to Gidi!" Ekanem explains, trying to make Jewel see from her point of view.
"And we almost killed him? Look Ekanem, I can't handle the shame. Please, I don't want anyone finding out about this." Jewel says slowly.
"But the bastard is still alive and walking like nothing happened," Ekanem says, turning to Geraldine obviously for help. "We need to tell someone what happened."
"It's not your story to tell." Jewel yells.
"Neither is it just yours," Ekanem yells turning to Geraldine, obviously expecting her to back her up. "Gidi was almost raped, this doesn't only involve you, I almost killed him. This bastard needs to be dealt with. He is a rapist, we don't want someone else falling victim." Ekanem says trying to be calm.
"Nothing happened, Ekanem! Nothing happened. Can't you just stop talking already? Can't you get it? Is it because you aren't the victim. I can't go through this shame, you don't even understand what I'm going through here..., "
"Says who?" Ekanem asks in a low tone. "Who says I don't understand whatever it is you are going through. I let fear cloud me, I will forever remain a failure with my scars." Ekanem suddenly says, meanwhile Geraldine sits mute.
"This will cause a big scandal, and everyone will find out," Jewel says suddenly sobbing.
"Jewel, you aren't supposed to be afraid. That bastard should be. He can't go free, after what he did to you both!" Ekanem says turning to a silent Geraldine.
"If she doesn't want to talk about it. We shouldn't force her." Geraldine says, although deep down, she was also scared of talking about it. Nathan almost did the same to her, if not Ekanem hadn't walked in when she did.

"Guy!"
Jayden takes his head up, immediately he heard the voice. A voice he recognised.
"Hey," Veronica says casually to Leo, who responds with a smile and gentle nod.
"What's up?" Jayden asks giving him, his full attention. This was the first real communication they were having since his birthday night.
"I'm good, you?" Leo asks, now pulling the books which were occupying the table to a corner, before helping himself. There was currently no teacher in the class, which might probably last a while.
"Fine," Leo responds.
"And your brother?" Jayden asks, even though he wasn't friends with Nathan, it was the right question to ask. "I heard he wasn't found in..., "
"He is in school too, he has recovered fairly. Don't know how he got into a fight with some guys and they knocked him up, leaving him in a pool of blood. If Xavier hadn't gotten to him on time, things would have been very much more complicated. His Dad didn't even want him back in school so soon, though he claims he is fine." Leo explains, not stopping to take a breath. Jayden didn't miss the tension in his eyes.
"I wonder who those guys were!" Jayden says in a low tone.
"Nathan refused to give much details, according to him, he started the fight. I don't even really know what happened. He hasn't spoken much about it, we just want him to get better." Leo mouths, meanwhile Jayden pays a lot of attention.
"Have you guys written lots of notes?" Leo suddenly asks quite interested.
"Nothing much, it's just the chemistry teacher, he is at it again," Jayden says slowly to Leo who pays close attention.
"Can I get the note?" Leo asks slowly.

Geraldine had been hiding out in the library, even though she knew it couldn't continue forever. She didn't know facing him could be this difficult. It was scary and traumatising.
Looking at him today, sent flashes of that night, which made her shiver.
This wasn't the Geraldine who always believed she could handle anyone. She was extremely scared.
If you saw her now, it would be easy to tell. Her eyes were pale and her eyes are shaky.
Jewel stayed back in the hotel, it was easier for her, she was the hostel prefect. She could also always come up with being sick. But the three of them couldn't pull that off at a time. She couldn't even tell where Ekanem was.
For once she agreed with Ekanem but was too scared to voice it out. Ekanem was right, but this was scary.
"Gidi!" She almost jumps out of her skin when he touches her.
"Jason!" She yells, immediately she recognised him. He chuckles, meanwhile she hits him playfully, even though it was quite hard. Jason laughs.
"What are you doing here, are you following me?" She asks.
"You wish." He smirks reminding her of the other side of Jason, which was annoying.
There is a brief silence. No one utters a word, meanwhile Geraldine goes back to flipping through a book, she had no interest in.
"Are you fine?" Jason suddenly asks, earning her full attention. At the same time, she looks at him. She didn't miss the concern on his face.
He noticed she was off. Was she that transparent. Even though she wanted to talk to someone, yell or scream. Jason wasn't in that position. This involved his sister.
"Gidi!" He calls out in a concerned tone.
"I'm fine." She responds slowly, even though it was a lie, and hoped he bought it.
"Jewel has been acting withdrawn these days." He suddenly speaks up, meanwhile Geraldine adjusts, trying to keep a straight face, especially when she was going to lie. Because it was obvious that Jason was here to get some information from her.
"I noticed you guys have started talking again." He pauses slowly, looking at Geraldine, who tries to hide how uncomfortable the conversation was becoming.
"Did she mention anything to you? The Jewel I know has never been this withdrawn in her entire life? Is it because of Nathan..., "
"What Nathan?" Geraldine suddenly asks quiet defensive, which did throw Jason off balance.
"I mean Nathan's accident. Nathan is back, hasn't she seen him?" Jason asks with a lot of concern.
That moment Geraldine hated the fact she was lying to him. He was so clueless about what was going on.
"I don't like that dude, but she likes him a whole lot. Trying to talk to her, she may think I'm faking my concern. And trust me, I hate that dude." Jason rants. "But she likes him a lot." His voice was down.
"Why don't you talk to her?" Geraldine asks calmly, guilt eating her up. She needed Jason off her case.
"No, I don't want her to feel like I have given her the permission to date that pig," Jason confesses and smiles.
It was so obvious that he loved his sister so much. And hated seeing her hurt, how would he feel if he finds out what went down.
"Pig!" Geraldine calls out in disgust. A lot of hatred in her heart. Meanwhile, Jason turns in her direction, quite confused.
"You and Ekanem, friends or? I noticed you guys have been hanging out a lot." Jason says quite interested, more like he wanted to milk this answer from her.
"Friends?" Geraldine scoffs. "Fire and Ice doesn't mix." She responds casually.
"Who between you is the fire?" Jason asks and scoffs. Meanwhile, Geraldine rolls her eyes. "Jewel didn't come to class, is she in the hostel?" He suddenly diverts the topic to his sister, with concern evident in his eyes.
______________________ 🖊️
It's been over a week, going to two, but still felt like yesterday. She hadn't stopped hurting. It was devastating and depressing. She hadn't gotten past a day without reliving what it felt like when he violated her.
She had never felt this violated in her entire life. She had never felt this hurt. It felt like she was drowning in an ocean. Like she was abandoned in a thick forest.
This felt worst than being she is locked up in a dark room, even though she had a phobia for it.
She trusted Nathan.
She couldn't believe in her wildest dream, that he will do this to her.
Not just to her, he almost did the same to Geraldine. She would never have forgiven herself if that happened.
Each day that passed by, she felt like she was drowning.
Hugging herself so tightly, she head to nowhere in particular. It was prep time, and students were probably in the halls.
Here she was loitering in the dark.
Perceiving something offensive, she look towards her left only to meet those eyes. He looked shocked. More like he wasn't expecting to see her.
He threw whatever it is he was smoking. It was something she had no idea of and didn't look at twice, because she felt her legs moving so fast.
Her heart beating rapidly.
"Jewel!" He calls out. She felt him running after her.
She couldn't face him. The last thing she wanted right now, was to look at his face.
"Jewel!" He calls, pulling her softly by her hand. She flinched involuntarily. She noticed how confused he was.
"I know you are mad at me. I knew for your Nathan was going to invite you, that was why I didn't." Leo says looking at her calmly.
What was he even saying?
She didn't understand him at that point. It took her a few seconds to realize it was about the birthday invite.
She attempts to walk away, but he pulls her back slowly, making eye contact.
At that moment, she almost screamed.
The only difference was his hair wasn't pleated. That was the difference between him and that bastard.
"Jewel, are you okay? You look pale." He asks in concern, holding her by her left.
"Can you please let me go? I don't have the strength for this!" She says calmly. That moment, he let's her go slowly.
"Jewel." He calls out slowly. "Are you mad a me, look I'm sorry." He says quite clueless, while she walked away.
How could two people look so much alike, but so different?
______________________ 🖊️
Geraldine is thrown off guard, when Ekanem pulls her by the hand, walking to God's knows where.
She technically had no idea of where Ekanem was taking her to.
She also wasn't comfortable with the glances they were receiving from their classmates. Who wouldn't be surprised? Geraldine and Ekanem holding hands. That was impossible a month ago.
Goosebumps suddenly engulfed her, when she sites Nathan seated at a corner.
This was unusual, it was dinner time, and he always sat in the company of his friends, but he just stood there alone, staring into the space.
"To think, you believe you will get away with what you did?" Ekanem confronts him, shocking Geraldine. She didn't know that was what she wanted to do. She didn't even tell her about it.
"Get away with what?" Nathan asks calmly, meanwhile he and Geraldine makes an eye contact, she flinches. To think he stared at her without reacting. The dude was definitely a psychopath, she thought.
"Don't tell me, that thing on your head, affected your brain?" Ekanem asks in a sassy tone.
"What thing?" He asks calmly.
"You are a bastard? Hope you know that? You will pay for everything." Ekanem says in disbelief.
"Ekanem, what's wrong? Why are you sounding this way?" He asks trying to touch her, meanwhile she pushes his hand roughly.
All this while Geraldine stares at him, with her mouth hanging. Was he not aware of what they were talking about?
"Ekanem, why are you sounding this way?" He repeats, meanwhile Geraldine and Ekanem spares each other a glance, quite confused.
"You are a bastard, you will certainly pay," Ekanem says now pulling Geraldine along with her.
"Why am I certain, you were the one who hit me on the head?"
Chills were sent to Geraldine and Ekanem's spines.
They both turn to him.
Now Geraldine felt like she was seeing the devil in form of a human. His facial expression scared her.
"You are lucky, I didn't get my hands on you, I would have strangled." The hate in his voice was evident.
"So you were just acting a while ago?" Geraldine asks speechless.
"And you believed me, didn't you? So don't think if you go around opening that blubber mouths of yours, anyone will believe you." He says, not expecting the punch Geraldine gave his mouth.
He is caught off guard so is Ekanem. He shocks them when he starts laughing at Geraldine.
"You punch like a guy! Chill, do you want to ruin my perfect face." He asks.
Geraldine has never felt so triggered and shocked in her entire life.
"You are lucky I didn't get to fuck you too. Hard girl my foot. I will definitely get you too. You girls are all the same. Act so tough and hard to get, but definitely slut." He spat out in a mock tone.
Geraldine launches at him but gets pulled by Ekanem, who seemed like she was using all her strength to restrain her.
"You are a bastard, a fucking rapist," Geraldine yells. For the first time today, she let tears drop freely. She had never felt so powerless in her entire life. To think Nathan was in front of her and she couldn't do a thing.
"Honestly speaking, you can go on and humiliate yourselves by talking trash about me or lying to people I raped that bitch and almost did the same to you. No one will believe you." He says calmly.
To think he believed himself. He actually called them liars.
"You are delusional," Ekanem yells. "A pig, bastard." She yells.
"Rotten thing," Geraldine says.
"Are you done venting your anger. It's not by force to date you Johnson. Why are you forcing yourself on me, it's getting out of hands, I will report you to the principal." Nathan says looking grim.
"God, he is delusional," Geraldine says in shock.
Did he actually believe what he was saying?
"To think you almost killed me, bitch." Now he was directly talking to a speechless Ekanem.
______________________ 🖊️
Geraldine panics immediately she gets pulled into a corner. She took a deep breath immediately, she saw Jayden's face.
Because the first person that got into her was Nathan Otedola. She was shaking. It was partially dark.
"Hey!"
She throws herself into his arms before he could utter another word. She felt her hands shaking. She was extremely scared.
"Dee!"
It felt soothing hearing him call her that so close. She shuts her eyes, assuring herself Jayden wasn't going to hurt her.
She didn't know why she was giving herself such assurance.
They hadn't really spoken that much. Only once when she tried to explain to herself, why she didn't see him at the party, but he waved it away.
She thanked God he did because she was about to lie to him.
"Dee!" He calls out, she doesn't let go. She holds him tightly. "What's wrong." He whispers into her ears.
"Nothing. Just don't let go." She says slowly.
She needed this hug so badly, and he was the right person she wanted.
"You will be fine." He says soothing her back, even though he didn't know what was wrong. She shuts her eyes while they stay in that position for a while.
______________________ 🖊️
"Hey!" Munachi calls out while she joins Geraldine on her way to the hostel.
Geraldine turns to her giving her a gentle nod.
"You just forgot about me," Munachi says slowly.
Things had changed between them, it took Geraldine a second to realize that, they didn't talk the way they used to.
Things had being messy lately. Especially with the fact, she had been spending more time with Jewel.
"It's not that, I have just been busy with stuff lately," Geraldine says, even though the statement didn't make much sense.
"You are Jewel, huh?" Munachi asks. "She has finally gotten her priority straight. Is that why you have been avoiding me?" Munachi suddenly asks, making Geraldine turned to her slowly.
"No! I would never do that."
______________________ 🖊️
Cherish tries to look left and right, hoping no one familiar was in sight. Especially with how possessive Ashley held her waist.
It was very late, as usual, he was just going to walk her closer to her hostel before he starts going to his.
"Good night." Ashley suddenly says, immediately they got very close to the hostel. "Can I get a hug?"
She giggles slightly, before turning to him, he pulls her to himself, pulling her cheek like she was a baby or something.
She couldn't help but laugh but stopped immediately her gaze falls on Senior Ukeme and Eno. She suddenly felt chills run through her spine. Ashley makes it more awkward when he pulls her into arms, and whispers, "Dream about me" into her ears.
"Go in!" He orders. She felt her legs wobble. "Cherish!" He calls out.
She fastens her pace immediately.
______________________ 🖊️
Immediately Geraldine walks into the class, she gets a very awkward vibe from Jayden and Ivy. They seemed engrossed in what each other was saying before she got in but suddenly stops.
They was something always off about them, she couldn't fathom what it was. They always gave up some vibe she wasn't comfortable with, for cousins.
"Hey!" She say giving both of them different looks.
"Hey!" Ivy says.
Geraldine could swear she saw her roll her eyes. She walks away at the same time.
"What's up?" Jayden asks, she only stares at him without uttering a word. "How are you feeling now?" He asks in a concerned tone.
"I'm fine." She responds. Assembly was going on now.
"Let's go for assembly, " She says slowly.
______________________ 🖊️
"How are you feeling now?" Jayden asks, meanwhile Leo tries to relax with the uneasy look on his face.
He was going through pains.
"You should call in sick, this is getting serious," Jayden suggests.
"I already did," Leo says and groans, his attention suddenly on something, or rather say, someone. Jayden follows it to meet Jewel, who stared into the space.
"Is your sister okay?" Leo suddenly asks quite concerned.
Meanwhile, Jayden turns to Jewel, back to Leo.
"I guess so," Jayden says in a rather questionable tone.
"God!" Leo groans in pain.
"It might be food poisoning," Jayden suggest.
______________________ 🖊️
"Will you keep quiet about it?" Geraldine finally asks, after keeping quiet for almost an hour.
This wasn't the Jewel she knew, the lively one. The one who was always talking. She had gotten so withdrawn.
"Geraldine, please I don't want to remember what happened," Jewel says looking so pained.
"But he will get away with it? Shouldn't we talk?" Geraldine says. "Maybe save someone else who might fall victim, that boy is a bastard," Geraldine says with a lot of hate.
"Maybe I deserved it," Jewel says calmly.
"Jewel look at me!" Geraldine says pulling her face to her. "You don't deserve this shit, no one deserves it, Jewel no girl deserves rape," Geraldine says.
"I was sleeping with Leo while dating him and he found out about it." Jewel burst into tears. " I didn't mean to hurt him, I really loved him..., "
"Jewel you hooked up with both of them..., "
"I didn't know they were brothers..., "
"Brothers?" Geraldine says suddenly realizing the deep resemblance, how come she never thought of it?
"It's not a perfect excuse. But Leo was always sweet to me, the first time was a mistake, but it kept happening. And I told Nathan I was a virgin, that we can't have sex, he found out..., "
"This is messed it. You messed up." Geraldine says.
"I know, I deserve every bit of what I got," Jewel says slowly.
"You don't deserve that. Jewel never say that again, don't make me upset with you. That bastard took advantage of you. He raped you, and he needs to be dealt with. The fuck, he almost raped me too." Geraldine cusses.
"I would never have forgiven myself," Jewel says now sobbing. "If this gets out, everyone will know, it's will be toxic. I don't want it to get out. I can't take the shame." Jewel sobs.
"We don't need to be ashamed. Jewel think of what he did to you. That guy is a fucking lunatic. He could do this to someone else, he almost did the same to me."
______________________ 🖊️
Geraldine pulls her textbook, trying hard to concentrate, especially with the noise, her classmates were making.
The last and foolish thing she was going to do was ask them to keep quiet because they were going to jump on her, like they wanted to eat her or something.
To think it was just girls making this kind of noise. Mr Patrick had asked all the Ss3 boys to see him, in his office.
A loud sound, sent chills into her body, at the same time making her look ahead. Especially with the noise that followed from her classmates.
Geraldine is left shocked. No idea what was going on, but the fact Jason had stabbed Nathan on his face.
Seeing blood trail down his face, Geraldine panics.
"Rapist, son of a bitch." Jason yells.
"I will kill you today."
Geraldine turns to Jewel who looked clueless, with a lot of questions in her eyes, before turning to the sight.
To think the class had become quiet like a graveyard, and no one moved forward, especially with the anger on Jason's face. Geraldine had never seen this version of him.
"Wtf!" Nathan says, holding his face in pain, while he attempts to walk away, obviously heading to the sickbay but getting attacked by Jason, who pushed him so hard.
He tries to defend himself and launches Jason a blow with a bloody hand.
"Someone should separate," Ekanem yells out, meanwhile Geraldine look around. There was no boy in the class, and no girl was going to step in.
It was obvious they didn't want to get involved, it was getting too bloody.
Ekanem rushes into the scene, and tries to pull Jason away from Nathan, but gets pushed to the floor.
The girls start screaming why they punched each other. Nathan clearly had power over Jason but got weakened by the pain on his face, but still managed to beat the hell out of Jason.

Jayden heads to the classroom, his thoughts drift back to Leo whose aunt had come to sign him out.
He looked seriously down. This was surprising because he was very hearty yesterday.
He quietly remembers Mr Patrick asked all boys to meet him in his classroom, but makes a mental note to make a run down to the classroom and pick his calculator.
He wonders what he had to say, suddenly hearing some noises as he approached his class.
Shocked at the sight he met, Jason and Nathan exchanged punches in blood. While everyone stood there staring, no one bothered to call for help.
To think they were both doing this at the doorway. Jayden rushes and starts pulling Jason off, but gets pushed roughly, as Jason rushes Nathan and punches his face
"Jason, stop!" Jayden yells pushing him off Nathan.
"He raped Jewel."
This alone sent chills into Jayden.
Did he just hear Jason correctly?
Instead of pulling Jason off, he turns to his classmate, scanning the class till his gaze fell on Jewel who was sobbing hard.
He turns to Jason, who was struggling below Nathan. That moment he hurries, and drags Nathan off him, meanwhile Nathan who was bleeding profusely, punched Jason's face. He pushes Nathan hard, and punches his face, earning loud screams in the class.
"Jayden, stop!" Ekanem says pulling him, he doesn't bulge. He and Nathan keeps blowing each other, meanwhile, Jason comes from nowhere and kicks Nathan on the stomach earning a loud groan, he matches him again, while Jayden focused on his face. The rage he felt at that moment was unexplainable. The only thing he felt was someone pulling him away roughly.
"What Is going on here?" A teacher asks.

Jewel seemed dumbfounded, she hadn't recovered from the shock of what went down today.
She had a lot of questions.
The bell had rung a few minutes ago, and students had vacated to their hostels. Except for her, she noticed Geraldine and Ekanem also stayed back.
She couldn't take the way her classmates had been looking at her, since Jason confronted Nathan.
And it was definitely going to go round in the hostel before she gets there.
News like this spreads like wildfire.
The real question was, how the hell did Jason find out?
"Did you tell Jason?" Geraldine suddenly asks, giving her a look.
"This is really bad, honestly speaking. It coming out this way." Ekanem murmurs meanwhile Jewel doesn't respond.
She didn't say a word to Jason, which meant either Geraldine or Ekanem did. Because Nathan wouldn't have dared for his safety.
"Jewel," Geraldine calls out
"I didn't say a word to him," Jewel responds calmly, meanwhile Ekanem and Geraldine turns to each other at the same time.
It was obvious they were thinking about the same thing that got into Jewel's head.
It was either of them.
"I didn't say anything to him," Geraldine says calmly.
"Of course, you both are pretty close though," Ekanem says rather too calm, although she sounded like she was throwing some kind of shade.
"I didn't mention any of this to him, if Jewel says she isn't the one, then it means it has to be one person," Geraldine says.
"Me?" Ekanem scoffs.
"Yes, you!" Geraldine says.
"To think I and this Jason don't even talk, like are you high or something?" Ekanem asks. "Even though we spoke, why will I mention such a sensitive matter?" Ekanem asks.
"The same reason you think I would." Geraldine attacks.
"You must be stupid." Ekanem hisses.
"Say that again and get my hand on your face." Geraldine threatens.
"Please just stop," Jewel says sitting down. "Everyone knows now." She says sobbing hard.

"Attacking your follow student!" The principal asks. Meanwhile, Jayden and Jason watches him across the days, meanwhile Mr John and the vice principal both listen.
"There parents should be invited." The vice-principal says.
"Of course, every student involved, parents will be here by tomorrow morning." The principal says.
Jayden couldn't believe a day would come, where he will be standing in the principal office, answering for a fight.
"This is a serious case, a very vital one. Rape!" The vice-principal says.
"Sir, Geraldine Johnson and Ekanem Edet can correspond." Jason suddenly says, shocking the hell out of Jayden.
"He tried to force himself on Geraldine, when she tried to intervene, when Ekanem got in, and used something to hit him, he lost consciousness," Jason explains.
All this sounded new to Jayden, he couldn't believe his ears.
Geraldine was also involved.
"This is extremely serious." The vice-principal says clapping her hands.
"These kids are really...,"
"Mr John, please make sure, Nathan Otedola, The Adenuga's Geraldine Jonhson's and Ekanem Edet's parents are called today. They have to be in school tomorrow," The principal says.
"All this happened at Leonardo Wachijem's birthday party?" The principal asks.
"Yes!" Jason responds.
"Mr John also make sure you check on Nathan Otedola at the sickbay, once this meeting is dismissed. The principal says.
