"WASSCE has begun. We just have to get ready to resume school." Geraldine says, touching her by the neck. "Don't fall sick."

  Geraldine had started packing up. They were supposed to resume school for the WAEC, subjects like bookkeeping, and some others had begun. She was to have her first paper which was Civic Education on Monday, it was a general compulsory course for both Science and Art students in her school.

She was going to see Munachi, she couldn't help but wonder how things between them would be. They were roommates, she had intentionally told no one, especially Jewel about it. Knowing Jewel, she was going to not on confront Munachi but rub it on her face.

   Geraldine is quite shocked to see Nengi, in front of her.

They had finished their very first papers. It wasn't very difficult, but there were some questions she couldn't answer.

Nengi had asked to see her after the exams, she didn't know it was so soon.

He looked stressed.

"Can we talk now?" He asks calmly.

"Yes," Geraldine responds sitting on the desk. There were just a few people in the hall.

Nengi suddenly falls quiet.

"What's wrong?" She asks quite confused.

"I feel you will hate me after this." He says, confusing her.

Why will she hate him?

"Why would I hate you?" She asks. He is silent again.

"God, Gidi." He says.

That wasn't a new story to Geraldine. She only wondered how Nengi knew.

"She has been blackmailing me," Nengi says. "She threatened to tell you everything. I decided to tell you everything, and apologise, I fucked up. You might not forgive me." He says.

"I promised to get her an iPhone if she spilt you and Jason. When she told me she could. But what was in there for her." He says.

Geraldine is stunned.

"But then she came back telling me, you weren't dating Jason but Jayden, and told me she was going to split you both up. That she found out Jayden was also screwing Ivy." He says.

Geraldine is speechless.

"And, I agreed. Promising to get her a laptop she requested for. She said she was going to do. You know we started hanging out with Ivy after Leo's party.      Geraldine burns in rage, while she puts on a jean trouser. For once she had use of her casual outfits. Before now, she brings them as extras and only gets to wear them at night.

"Putting on jeans?" Jewel suddenly asks. "Why are you angry?" Jewel asks in a carefree manner.

"Nothing." She says putting on a cardigan. She had plans, and if it was going to scatter the school, she didn't care. If it was going to put her into trouble she didn't care to.

She was tired of controlling her anger and trying to be the bigger person.

If she didn't beat Ivy to stupor today, she was never going to forgive herself.

"Geraldine." Jewel calls out.

"Nothing," Geraldine yells.

She hadn't clashed with Ivy before, she couldn't tell how strong she was. That was why she went to put on these clothes. Because If she couldn't beat Ivy up, she would make sure, she tears her clothes, and strip her. So she had to guard herself.

On getting to the cafeteria, she sights Ivy. For sure, she was expecting her there. It was lunchtime after all.

Those were the comments that came in. Geraldine paid a deaf ear, as she lands Ivy another slap.

She was burning in anger. She wasn't retaliating. She wanted them to fight. Ivy to show her the strength she got.

"Woah. Didn't see that coming." Jewel comments from behind. You could tell from her voice that she wanted to laugh.

"Are you crazy, what's your problem?" Ivy suddenly screams at Geraldine, who pushes her back, she slaps Geraldine very hard.

Geraldine touches her cheek, with raging anger, she throw another blow on Ivy's face, pulling her closer.

Now the hall became rowdy, people were shouting and making jokes. The last thing Hilton students would do, was to separate fights, especially girls. It was a very disgusting habit of there's, they will let you disgrace yourselves, or else your friends are there to separate or a teacher comes in.

Geraldine pulls Ivy with all her might, as she forgot a slap on her cheek. Ivy bites her struggling to defend herself. Geraldine suddenly feels someone pulling her from behind, which weekend her, in a short while the person had pulled away from her.

Geraldine lunches towards Ivy, whose eyes had turned red.

"When I'm done with you." She drags a struggling Ivy, tearing her clothes on purpose. This was one of her defence mechanisms when she noticed you were starting to make it difficult to beat you blue and black. She was going to cripple you, by doing something to you. She could remember what happened, the last time she hit Ukeme on the breast, so she did something different this time.

"Heeeeeeey." Some group of girls screamed, immediately they heard the sound of the torn dorm wear. She was going to deal with Ivy today, and receive the consequences later.

Geraldine knew they were coming to separate, immediately she heard this, so she pushes Ivy to the floor, who was trying hard to cover her exposed body. She had a blue bra on.

Geraldine smirks with satisfaction, while she attempts to kick Ivy, but gets carried.

The person who did that to her, was stronger than she was, because the way he lifted her, wasn't a joke.

Geraldine screams, trying to lose the grip.

He slowly pulls her far away from Ivy, dropping her on the floor. She turns back glaring at him. She stopped herself from forgetting a slap on his first.

It's been three weeks since the big fight between her and Ivy.

She wondered how it didn't get to any teacher's ears or principal. It was unlike any of the fights that she had gotten involved in before.

She and Jayden had successfully ghosted each other for three weeks. He wasn't talking to her, and she wasn't going to talk to him too. She had made up her mind. He tried talking to her twice, and got ignored, now whenever he saw her, he just stared.

She was mad at him. He knew all along it was Ivy, and refused to tell her. It was obvious he was trying to save Ivy's ass, which did hurt her a lot.

She had also done her best to ignore Ivy and Munachi too.

Nengi hadn't stopped trying to get her to forgive him.

Not to forget she spent the whole three weeks, reading, writing and bonding with Jewel.

Things were just like they used to be. Though they wouldn't deny the fact, a lot of things had changed. Between and around them.

Their last paper was today, after that everyone will be going back home.

She couldn't believe she was finally leaving Hilton College, finally done with secondary school. Even though this final day, came with its special drama.

Although a lot of things happened this past month, the covid-19, and some others which are unpleasant, we don't want to talk about. I'm glad the majority of us made it to the end of the exams." He says looking grim.
"Your graduation date has been set. It's on the 17th of next month. We all know the Covid-19 reshaped our scheme, but we are trying out best to make our calender go back to normal."

"Thank you all, now we will be inviting the vice-principal academic to talk to us."
