Ashley watches Nathan crush the little object he had. It was very obvious he was still pissed at what happened between him and the student from THASS.

To Ashley, that issue shouldn't have arisen. What a simple sorry could solve.

Instead, both boys decided to be a beast about it. They acted like they had actually clashed before.

"Nath, do you know that guy from somewhere?" Xavier suddenly asks, before Ashley could, also making Ashley give Nathan full attention, obviously to hear what he had to say.

"Just seeing him for the first time," Nathan responds slowly. With the way he sounded, he was been honest about it.

"Weird." Dashlin says slowly.

"That guy is sick," Xavier says slowly. "Trust me, the next time I get an opportunity, I will be breaking his ego. Who does he think he is?" Xavier suddenly says, sounding like he was the one the guy attacked, shocking Ashley.

As for Ashley, fighting wasn't his calling. He wasn't going to get mixed up with that before his handsome face gets bruised, like he would prefer to call it.

He didn't have strength compared to those boys, including Nathan and Xavier. For all he knew, he was the youngest in their midst.

If they wanted to kill themselves, he will gladly cheer from behind.

"We should just pray couch doesn't find out about what happened." Ashley suddenly says because he knew it wasn't going to be funny.
"Also, this shouldn't..., "

"Well, where did they get this girl's from?" Nathan suddenly says getting up from his seat, also making his friends turn to the direction he was looking out.

"Come on, that girl's head looks like a saving boxs." Ashley burts out, turned off already.

"Guy, calm down. You self, look at the one I am referring to." Nathan suddenly hisses. "Is that how bad my taste is?" Nathan asks meanwhile Xavier chuckles, while Dashline observed, without uttering a word.

"But her head isn't that bad." Referring to the other girl Ashley was on about. "She is pretty."

"But I don't like the shape of her head," Ashley concludes. The girl was pretty, he didn't agure about that, and she reminded him about Cherish, which made him chuckle.

He burst into laughter that moment. He couldn't believe he was comparing Cherish head to that of a random girl who he had just seen.

Cherish walks straight to her bunk without uttering a word, only to meet Zara sitting on her bed. It wasn't something that ought to be weird, but with the developments these days, it seemed weird.

They have been doing more of hi and disappearing. If there was even a bye, it would have been better.

Even after she saw her and Senior Xavier, they hadn't spoken about it. It's been more of small talks, which were too casual.

Cherish doesn't try to hide her facial expression. She leaves it plane.

"Because senior Xavier isn't here anymore." Cherish blurts out, sitting next to her. She couldn't believe she could be this blunt, she didn't sugarcoat anything. She said it, the way she saw fit.

"Are you angry or what?" Zara asks giving her a look.

"I am not angry, I am just saying. You stopped hanging out with me, you were always nowhere to be found. I see you now, and look away, before I turn around, even if it's just a minute. You aren't there." Cherish says pouring her heart.

Zara was her only friend, and the only one she could talk to confidently. She felt like she had drifted too much.

"You have changed so much. Very much!" Cherish emphasises on them very much. Zara had changed so much to her. It wasn't the same Zara she knew in Junoir secondary. It just seemed like something possessed her.

Zara suddenly starts laughing, which makes Cherish look left and right, wondering what was making her laugh. Because she hadn't said anything funny. She also took note of the fact, most students were busy with their business. No one had your time.

"Cherish, between the both of us, who needs to be saying this? You are only talking to me now because your senior Ashley isn't in school." Zara says mockingly, emphasizing the your.

Knowing Zara, Cherish could tell she wasn't taking what she was saying seriously. Because she had that her usual mischievous look.

"He isn't my Senior Ashley." Cherish drags childishly feeling frustrated.

"Don't just get pregnant. I don't like him at all." Zara says and pulls a book closer. "No one said you shouldn't have fun, but don't get pregnant, also he isn't worth it. He is friends with senior Nathan, they are all the same." Zara drags slowly.

Meanwhile, Jewel tries to play defensive, even though she knew there was some truth in whatever Zara was saying. Not to forget, she never told her about the incident that occurred with Senior Nathan.

"What are you doing with senior Xavier." Cherish asks pulling the defence card with her. "They are all friends." She adds.

"Because..., " Zara stutters, suddenly feeling speechless. "I like being around him." She says it sounded genuine. "Also he isn't that bad, he is very nice." She adds, meanwhile Cherish only twitches her face, making Zara look more uncomfortable.

The only thing on her mind was how and when all this started. She knew Zara was seeing someone who was giving her those pills but didn't know it was him. Besides, he was Nathan's close friend, and she dated Nathan.

"Xavier is really nice." Zara agrees.

"He is the one who gives you those pills right?" Cherish asks boldly.

"So I don't get pregnant," Zara responds defensively.

"Like you guys do that always?" Cherish found herself been bold at the question.

"Not like that. We haven't done anything since we resumed." Zara defends, making Cherish wonder how often she meant because they just resumed. "Pretending like you don't do anything with senior Ashley. You always pretend." Zara says and hisses, making Cherish give her a look. Wondering if it was what she thought she meant.

"I don't do that with senior Ashley." Cherish defends, meanwhile Zara gives her this "oh" look.

"Oh, you both are getting there," Zara says. "Do you mind?" She asks giving Cherish a pack of chocolate which she brought out of her bag. "Also, I did our homework, when you were at wherever you were," Zara says surprising Cherish. It's been a long they actually talked this long, or Zara did get the assignment.

"What do you mean by you both are getting there?" Cherish suddenly asks remembering what Zara said, giving her a look. "We aren't doing anything bad, besides he said he won't try to have sex with me, even when I become bid girlfriend." Cherish says, feeling awkward pronouncing sex, meanwhile Zara burst into mocking laughter, which makes her feel bad.

"That's what they all say. Nathan also told me that, just so you know. Did you fall for that?" Zara asks and chuckles. "Cherish look, you should stop hanging out with him too much because I don't trust him. He is a womaniser, just like Xavier, Nathan, they are all the same. I like Xavier a lot, and it hurts me because I always think he is playing me like Nathan, he is always with various girls." Zara says. Jewel could hear the pain and anger in her voice. This certainly didn't sound like her naive friend Zara, but someone different. "To think of the fact I saw Ashley doing stuffs with...., "

"Zara!" Cherish calls out slowly. The truth of the matter, she knew whatever she was going to say would only hurt her.

"Don't be a baby," Zara says.

Was this really Zara?

That was the only thing on her mind at that moment.

Immediately he sights her, he throws his face in another direction. Leo was currently out of sight.

Funny enough Leo didn't get him the letter, an act which he didn't know if it was done on purpose or not. The only thing he wished for at that moment, is for Geraldine not ever find that letter.

Wait, she was coming over his direction right now. He wanted to meet.

He could feel both hands trembling. To say he was anxious was an understatement.

"Jayden!"

She sounded very calm. This was the first time they were speaking after what went down the other night.

"Hi. Geraldine... Hey!" He says trying to be calm. His awkward look, couldn't help him, because he had thought about giving her, his usual dumb look at the dying minute.

"I knew you were the one standing over here." She says slowly. He noted she was also anxious and trying to keep the talk going.

The question now was, did she see the letter?

With her behaviour, he couldn't tell, but since hasn't spoken about it.

"So about the other day!" She says slowly, making him feel like a jerk. It dawned on him, he chickened out so easily, and she was the one going for it, and been the guy right there and then. "We haven't had the time to talk about it. At first, I thought it was just going to be like the last time when I tried it with you. I never knew I could actually attract a guy you know...., "

Now Jayden chuckles, without thinking. Then she turns to him looking serious.

But to think of it, she was right. Because one time, he was actually thinking about the fact he couldn't get her out of his mind. To think he actually liked her. He wasn't body shaming her or something. But Geraldine looked very hard to like from a distance, but talking to her, you would find out, she is a very sweet person and wasn't as scary and terrible as she seemed.

"The letter."

Jayden literally died and woke up at that moment.

She saw it.

"It was actually sweet..., "

"It was just a stupid write up. Don't take it seriously." He cuts her off regretting that moment. He didn't even let how to finish what she had to say, due to tension.

He didn't miss the disappointment on her face, no matter how she tried to hide it, that moment he knew he had messed everything up.

"Oh yeah!" She tries trying very hard to hide how disappointed she felt. She like Jayden. She couldn't deny it anymore. To think seeing that letter made her day.

It wasn't just the fact, it was the first love letter she had gotten from a boy. But the felt special.

Now she could tell how foolish she was. She had totally embarrassed herself.

She tries to avoid making eye contact, while he stared hard at her. It was even impossible to read him by his expression, there was no need to try.

The thought that he actually liked her. She was dreaming too big.

"Jayden."

Geraldine takes her eyes up when she noticed they had company. She stares at the girl whose hand was crossed over Jayden's neck, trying to remember her name, the only thing she could remember was the fact they both bear the same surname.

"Ehm, excuse me. I need to run an errand for Mr John." Geraldine says. This was the most awkward scene she had ever been in the history of time. To think she just wanted to go into the toilet and scream out the embarrassment she felt at that moment.

Geraldine, she was hurt. That was the first love letter a boy had written to her. Ivy interrupts them crossing hands over his neck.

Jewel hisses immediately she sights Leo a few steps away from her. It was obvious he wasn't going to let her be. And she wasn't in the mood to talk to him.

And knowing him, she knew he was going to try to stop her, but there was no going back now. The only thing she needed was to ignore him totally and get away as fast as her legs could carry her.

But he had an advantage. They were almost the only ones, at this part of the hallway.

"Jewel." He calls out, trying to grab her hand. But she moves back.

"What do you want?" She yells, not minding at all. She was displaying like a madwoman and didn't care. She finally takes her voice down a little.
"Leo, what is it? Why don't you want to leave me alone, you have ruined my life, isn't that enough already." She says, not minding the fact she was being overly dramatic.

"That's why I want us to talk. We don't know what's going on. It's has taken too long already, now I am worried." Leo says honestly.

If not because she was the one having the predicament, she would have laughed at him at that spot.

"Oh! You are now scared? Look, Leo, let me tell you. I am not the type that would keep quiet, I can't take pains oh. If my mum should find out. I am telling her you are the one. Don't think I will let you go scot-free. If only you could control that thing, we won't be in this predicament." She says now eyeing his trousers, boldly, with an irritated look.

She meant it when she said, she wasn't going to shut her mouth about him, if her parents found out. The thought of what her mum would do to her was making her sick.

"That's why we need to talk this through..., "

Everything was irritating her. Even the sight of him. She just couldn't control herself anymore, she blurts out.

"Leo, leave me alone," Jewel says and starts working away.

She was frustrated as it is already.

Geraldine stares at the board absent-minded. If the teacher was saying anything, she didn't know.

The class as it is was boring. Those students who always made it lively weren't around. The playful kids were off. So you hard just the very serious ones or those who didn't fall into any category.

Sometimes Ashley and his friends were nuisance. But Geraldine wouldn't deny the fact, they brought light or fun to the class most times.

Geraldine comes to her senses, when she gets a gentle push, turning, she sees Munachi who gives her a sign that the teacher was talking to her.

"Geraldine, can you help us here?" Mrs Amadi asks smiling, meanwhile Geraldine releases a small smile.

The fact she didn't even know the question was an understatement. She didn't even know what was going on.

Jewel seats in her usual position. The secluded part of the cafeteria. This is where she has been having her food alone since they resumed.

A loud pull makes her lookup. She is quite shocked and doesn't hide it.

Not only the fact did Ekanem pull a seat, she drops her food on the table and sits on the chair. Then starts a staring competition.

If she was trying to irritate Jewel then she had done a perfect job.

"What?" Jewel asks with a frown. "I don't want you here." She spits.

"I can see you brought this chair from your fathers house. Can you pocket that attitude of yours, because it stinks." Ekanem hisses. "Also mind it. Don't irritate me." Ekanem says.

Now Jewel knew what was going to provoke her, and hell she was saying it.

"It seems like the slaps Ukeme gave you that day, didn't do justice. I might as well disfigure your miserable face." Jewel says without blinking for even a while.

"The fact you have so much energy for a pregnant girl is alarming. You should at least think about the health of your baby and yourself too. Teenage pregnancy is very dangerous don't forget. " Ekanem says without stopping. The sassy look on her face killed it.

Jewel couldn't hide the shock as well as the embarrassment on her face. It wasn't only because her come back was good. She couldn't help but wonder how she found out.

"It's high time you stopped acting like a baby and owned up. Look Leo is trying his best here. Stop being a bitch, do whatever he is telling you to do and stop giving him more problems, assist is. The one he has is too much. Ekanem says shutting Jewel up.

The fact she even knew about Leo was shocking.

"He is just too soft and you are busy taking advantage of it, do you think if it was another boy, they will careless? They will deny you, and you can't do shit about it. Stop being a bitch and go run a test. Stop acting like a child, your childishness should have limits." Ekanem hisses.

"Get out." Jewel forces those words out.

"I won't. What will you do?" Ekanem asks with an evil grin.

"Toss this food on your head," Jewel says.

"You wouldn't dare," Ekanem says slowly.

"You wanna bet?" Jewel asks getting up.

"You know my mouth doesn't have filters. We would both disgrace ourselves in front of everyone here. Don't forget who the pregnant mummy is?" Ekanem chuckles giving her an evil laughter. "Come to think of it, Jewel, you are a hypocrite. I only tolerate you because Leo loves you so much, now I wonder what he sees in an ill-mannered she-goat!"

"Public Toliet."

"I agree. But who is the pregnant one here?" Ekanem mocks.

Jewel hisses, and starts working down to the trash without uttering a word, on getting there, she dumps everything including her plate. She was so furious right now. How she wanted to strangle Leo at this moment.

How could he tell their business to Ekanem?

And when did they become so close?

Her world was coming to an end to her.

If only she could get her hands on Leo right now, she would strangle him to death.

She wasn't having it anymore. This madness had got to stop. She was tired of the silent treatment already. Now she was walking down to where he sat, with Munachi running after her, probably curious about what was going on.

"Nengi. Can we talk?" Geraldine says looking from Nengi down to Veronica. She doesn't miss the shocked look on Nengi's face, also the confused look on Veronica's.

"Gidi..., "

"Why are you ignoring me?" She asks not waiting to hear what he had to say. She missed the way her name sounded in his mouth.

"Gidi... Ignoring you..., "

The fact he was stuttering wasn't funny at all.

"I am not ignoring you." He denies bluntly. Geraldine couldn't even understand what was going on with him.

"Did I do anything wrong to you?" She asks slowly.

"What? No!" Nengi responds. "You have been very busy, I didn't want to seem like a pest," Nengi explains slowly.

She couldn't understand what he was saying. Now she was certain. He was hiding something. There was something up.

"Nengi!" She calls slowly. Now he looks up to her with a small smile.

"You have been busy with new male friends who aren't me, I figured you might not want me around anymore." He says, she couldn't miss how embarrassed he was.

"Really?" She chuckles hitting him playfully.

"Ouch." He reacts.

"Which guy can take your place, wont be silly." She chuckles. Meanwhile, Munachi stares at both of them without uttering a word.

"The way this pandemic is going on, I won't be shocked if the governor, places us on lockdown." The chemistry teacher concludes before leaving the class.

Jewel takes the medium to rest her head on the desk. She had been miserable for days, and the godforsaken period didn't want to come out. She felt like she was suffocating inside.

She didn't know what to do, nor the actions to take.

The slight tap on her back, makes her raise her head slowly, wondering the idiot who decided to disturb her peace. She wouldn't be surprised if it was Leo, because that was Leo's normal sitting position.

She is shocked by the face she sees, wondering how she got to her seat. As usual, she tries to insult her as a usual defence mechanism.

"Public toilet?" Jewel calls out with a raised eyebrow. Meanwhile, Ekanem just stared back at her.

"Meet me during prep, close to the school main gate," Ekanem says slowly to a confused Jewel. "And I would just pretend like I didn't hear you the first time, mama bornboy." Ekanem mocks.

The last name alone makes Jewel almost mad.

"Bitch!" Jewel retorts. "And mind your business," Jewel says slowly.

"You make me think twice of helping you. Ungrateful child." Ekanem hisses. "Meet me at the main gate during prep, let's know what's really going on," Ekanem says slowly. "As it is Leo is already dying of high blood pressure. Since he realised there is a probability...., "

Jewel always melted at her last word. She was holding onto Leo's words even though it's difficult. Now he wasn't sure of it, what was she to?

He stares at her from a distance. He did capture her attention. Nathan keeps staring at her why she sipped from her cup.

She charmed him at that moment. The beauty was rare, he stood up intending to approach the girl who sat across. He had totally forgotten he was running an errand.

Nathan walks slowly in her direction without uttering a word, even when he gets there. He keeps mute.

It didn't take a minute, she turns to his direction, almost throwing herself into his arms, then realizing something. He could see the look on her face.

The girl in front of him was fair-skinned, her hair was perfectly done, which was like his obsession. He had nothing else to say than she was a real beauty. She charmed him at that moment.

She stared at him with a confused look on her face, slightly embarrassed too.

"Sorry, I thought you were someone else," She apologized to him, giving him a look. It was obvious it was because she almost hugged him.

"It's okay," he smiled at me, reaching his hand forward to touch the cornrows on her head. "I like your hair." Nathan comments.

She looked confused at first.
"Thank you," She says meanwhile he doesn't get his hand off her hair.

"I like you hair also." She said to him because she had nothing else to say.

"Thank you, " Nathan says finally letting go of her hair. "I'm a hair fetish." He says and laughs while she smiled lightly.

"I can see that." She told him before taking my her sit. I expected the person at my front.

Nathan uses the medium to join by sitting directly opposite her.

"I am Nathan Otedola," he introduced himself, stretching out his hands for an handshake. "What about you?"

She smiles, shook his hands as she introduced herself, "I'm Pink-"

"Your name is pink?" He looked surprised by my name, it was expected anyways.
"That name is rare to come by."

"I know right, "

he still didn't break the handshake as he rubbed the back of her palm lightly.

"Uh. . ." She trailed off before breaking the handshake herself because it was already getting to long and she knew if Tayo should see her shaking his hands he could get angry. "You're from Hilton college, right?"

"Yes," Nathan answered. I knew that because of the badge on his track wear. "And you guys are our rivals."

Sh chuckled. "We can't say yet until the semifinals has been played."

"I've heard about your school before and I know you guys are really good in B-ball," Nathan commented and she just stared at him, smiling as he spoke. "I'm even aware that your school is one of the most expensive in Lagos."

She nodded. "Yes. And I am impressed by the way, you really know a lot about my school."

Nathan said nothing as he stared at hee. She picks up her phone and types in it immediately, why he watches her.

She dropped my phone on the table and took a sip of her coffee under the scrutinizing gaze of Nathan.

"You're beautiful," Nathan comment, trying to pull his fine boy charms, the one every girl ended up falling for.
"Even in cornrows you still look this beautiful. You're an Angel."

She blushed a bit, fondling with her fingers. "Thank you."

"Oh, you don't need to thank me," came his response quickly. ". . .but you can thank me by giving me your number, I'd love to be friends with you. And I'd also love to know more about you." Nathan says playing his cards.

It seemed like she gave it a thought while she stared at him.

"Sure, I'll give you my number," She called out her number to him. "Are you on IG?" She asked quite interested.

"Yup, I'm quite popular there."

"I knew it," She told him.
"I've come across your picture before, so when I saw you I knew you looked familiar."

He laughed, running his hands through his hair. "I feel shy, " Nathan laughs. He was only playing his card. He was never a shy guy.

"You're on Instagram also? Let me give you a follow, give me your IG handle let me see," he handed his phone over to her, she typed in her Instagram name and when it popped up, she gave him back his phone.

"Wow! You're quite influential. How come I haven't heard about you?"

"It's a big world, I guess that's why."

"I just followed you," She picked up her phone, opened Instagram and gave him a follow back.

"You've followed me back. I better get going now."

She nodded my head. "Alright."

He stood up and held out his hand. "It was nice meeting you. I'll give you a call."

"And I'll be expecting."

"Pink!" Someone cuts them off.

Nathan watches the guy who hugs her, pulls her and starts kissing her, she doesn't fight it.

That wasn't the only thing he noticed. It was the same goat he fought with, that was what was going through his mind.

Lo and behold, they meet again even before the game.

He suddenly clears his throat intending to interrupt them.

He watches Tayo pull away from her, turning in his direction quite shocked.

"What do you want?" Tayo asked Nathan. His voice was dripping hate as he glared at Nathan.

"It's you again, "Nathan said, also glaring hardly at Tayo before he turned to Pkmk with softness in his eyes.
"Are you dating him?" Nathan couldn't help but ask, even though it was dumb.

"Yes-"

"She is my girlfriend, what do you want?" Tayo interjected."Look, just go away, I don't want trouble."

Nathan chuckled then glared at Tayo. "I already have her number, meaning we are friends. Or am I not allowed to talk to my friend?"

"Your friend?" Tayo repeated sarcastically. "I bet."

"Don't think too much about it," Pink says giving him a quick peck. "He's just a friend."

Nathan smiles.

Tayo nodded and kissed her again - he was used to kissing me every second. "But I don't trust him," Tayo says, meanwhile Nathan chuckles, whispering big baby to himself.

"Go down on your knees." Senior Ukeme instructs, meanwhile Cherish does as told, without uttering a word. She noted Zara didn't kneel but stared back at Ukeme.

"Am I not talking to you?" Ukeme glares at Zara, who still doesn't bulge.

"Are you stupid?" The senior who joined this term, says pushing Zara back. Cherish remembered her name as Ivy. Also, she had noticed Senior Ekanem and Ukeme no longer spoke to each other. It was always Senior Ukeme and Eno, now the new senior seemed to have joined their crew.

"Will you kneel?" Eno commands. Now, this was already getting everyone present in the room attentions. Both junior and senior students.

A whole senior prefect girl was talking, and she was contradicting her. Cherish prayed silently she would just look at her face, so she could see the signs she was giving her to obey.

"I didn't do anything wrong. I won't go down on my knees. I feel pains also, I can't kneel." Zara says staring straight at Senior Ukeme who looked dumbfounded.

Cherish couldn't get where Zara got this courage from. Zara had really changed.

"Look at this Ss1 brat oh. Imagine!" Senior Ivy says and chuckles in amusement.

A loud slap brings Cherish to reality, as she looks up only to see Zara holding in cheek in pain.

"You dare contradict me?" Ukeme yells pushing Zara roughly. It was very easy to do because she was older and clearly stronger than Zara.

"Get down on your knees." Ukeme says pulling Zara down roughly.

Cherish and data observing punishment from ukeme, eno and ivy. Cherish noticed how harsh the new senior was.

"Leo, are you okay?" Jayden suddenly asks, when he noticed how quiet Leo was, which was unlike him. Leo clears his throat, nodding his head, indicating he was fine.

Jayden doesn't utter another word, he just keeps mute.

He wondered if depression had kicked in again. He knew within himself, Leo was battling with serious depression. At the beginning of the term, Leo hadn't shown those normal signs he did. He still disappeared most times, and Jayden knew, over 100, he was 90% sure, Leo was smoking at all those times.

"I am coming," Leo says and suddenly gets up, meanwhile Jayden stares at him, with his mouth hanging.

"Hey!" Ivy calls out while she joined him. She didn't sound happy at all. She was starting to suffocate him. He never felt this way around her, before now. He couldn't still fathom what was wrong.

"You have changed. Jayden! Aren't we friends anymore." She asks, meanwhile Jayden just keeps mute. The truth to him, as they destroyed the friendship between them when they started having sex. Everything was bound to change.

If there was something Jayden knew, it was the fact, if he ever had feelings for her, he didn't feel the same anymore.

"Jayden, I miss us." She says slowly touching his left hand, as she starts rubbing it slowly, making him pretty uncomfortable, because they weren't the only ones in the class.

"Ivy!" Jayden calls out slowly, pulling his hands away. She suddenly hisses.

"When I boy start behaving like this, it only means one thing, another girl has taken over," Ivy says facing him strictly.

"Ivy," Jayden calls out speechlessly.

What is precum, exactly?
Precum is a clear, sticky fluid released before ejaculation. As its name makes pretty obvious, precum (or pre-ejaculate) is a fluid that comes out of the penis before semen. It's thought to originate from organs known as Cowper's glands (also called bulbourethral glands) and the glands of Littre (urethral glands that secrete mucus). These glands are nestled close to the urethra (the tube through which sperm and urine travel on their way out into the world). When someone with a penis is sexually excited, these glands churn out precum, which is a mix of components such as proteins, enzymes, and mucus.

"Pre-ejaculate primes the urethra for sperm to come through," Amin Herati, M.D., a urologist at John's Hopkins University, tells SELF.

Basically, precum serves an important function if you are trying to get pregnant. See, when urine passes through the urethra, it creates an acidic environment, which isn't ideal for sperm, Dr. Herati explains. All that acidity can get in the way of sperm maintaining the right pH level for optimal function. So, precum renders the urethra less acidic and makes the path for sperm from the penis to egg safer and potentially more successful. Another theory is that it helps to make the acidic nature of the vagina more hospitable to sperm.
