This was the third time she was feeling the slight sting feeling. To say she knew what was going on was an understatement. The fact it was so annoying and funny at the same time was frustrating.

She slowly turns in his direction, only to see him staring seriously at the teacher. It was like he wasn't the one distracting her. He looked extremely serious. The fact you couldn't tell by his facial expression that he had been joking around.

She was trying had to understand whatever the teacher was saying, although it wasn't easy at all. There were sometimes it bothered her. Her Mum always told her about always being at the top back then, even her Dad wasn't left out. To tell she was very different, even from her siblings. Jayden was perfect to her, same as Jason. Their grades were always on point. With her, it was different, she struggled to understand everything. Geraldine was the one who always helped her, sometimes during tests or exams. She always forced her to read most times. Now they weren't friends anymore, it was obvious.

Noticing a string, she turns to her left immediately, she caught his smile, which was covered up immediately, at the same time she gives him a hard slap at his back, catching everyone's attention, including the teacher.

Everyone's attention was on them in no time, it was obvious most of the classmates didn't know what went down, they only heard the hot slap.

She wanted to do more than that slap, God knows, she would have bitten him if she had thought twice.

This time around he does it again, not pretending. She does what she knew best, she brought her mouth down to his hand, taking him unawares, as she bites him. Leo releases the loud scream, clearly not able to control it.

"Wachijem and Adenuga, get out of my class, you both are constituting nuisance."

Jewel couldn't believe her ears, she was clearly the Adenuga he was referring to.

She couldn't believe she was been sent out of the class during lessons.

How she wanted to strangle Leo at that moment, coupled with the fact, they were the centre of attention.

Funny enough Leo was already out of the door, like he didn't care or something.

Getting out of the classroom, they took a deep breath. Wondering where he was she looks around, only to see him smiling from a distance, she doesn't hesitate, she starts walking down to his direction, only for him to burst into laughter, and start walking away, she runs after him, with no other arm than biting him, when she caught him.

Call her a baby, but that wasn't going to stop her from using one of her weapons on him, which was her teeth.

If there was one thing she noted, it was the fact he was always apologising.

She doesn't respond, but pulls one of the chairs and sits on the desk instead. Leo did something which did surprise her, he pulled both legs apart slowly, getting into her legs, and making them cross his waist.

The fact she hoped he couldn't hear her heartbeat. She wanted to end everything with him, but it seemed like they were getting closer than ever, even after the pregnancy scare.

She blushed at that instant. The fact he sounded and looked like Nathan, made her blink twice, while she moved back.

What was going on with her?

"I can't take it." She says and smiles slowly, even though she would have grabbed it immediately he said so.

She had an earring set, even though she didn't fancy wearing them. Her parents especially her Dad always got them, these were packed by her mum, they were the good sets.

At that moment, she didn't know what to do, but just stare confused.

Munachi stood at a corner obviously waiting for her. She was home and dry, intending to call her Dad to send her upkeep money since no clue was gathered on the person who stole from her.

This was the first time such was happening to her since she joined Hilton College. Maybe she got too comfortable and kept her things anyhow.

"Gidi!" Munachi calls out reminding her she was waiting.

Geraldine hadn't gotten much sleep last night, because she stayed up reading. This week was going to be like this, she knew that.

She picks her bag pack, before turning to Munachi, to walk out with her.

"You know the way I do my things, if I get you talking, giraffing or doing combined works, you will be dealt with, just respect your old age and I won't be on your case. This exam will determine if you have been learning or whiling away time." Mr John says.

Jayden only looks up to him slowly. He looked like someone had annoyed him, before getting into the classroom.

"Because if you aren't able to pass this exam, only God knows what you will write during the WAEC." He says.

This was the way they always wrote their tests and exams, together. If one failed, all did, because they were literally writing the same thing.

"This man won't chill now!" Dashlin hisses. "Abi, Adamu solve fast, abi did you eat snail this morning fa!" Dashlin asks in a mock tone.

Ashley heard him but doesn't respond, trying to focus. He knew he was the one Dashlin was calling Adamu. If you followed his friend's mouth, you might abandon them in w dessert, they were so annoying, with their badmouths.

Geraldine stares at number six for a while. She had tried to solve it but was having difficulties.

These days she had been having some suspicions about them, especially with the compromising situations she always saw them in. They seemed close. If she wasn't dating Nathan, she would have thought Jewel was dating Leo.

She watches Leo lean back giving Jewel free access to his work. To top it up, Jewel start writing from his work.
While he leaned back. She watches them for a while before looking away, chiding herself for not concentrating on her own problems but someone else.

"Combined work!" Mr John suddenly says catching Geraldine's attention.

The fact Leo was boldly denying it like it wasn't what they were doing was impressive to her.

"The fact you are even lying on top, come out of that seat." He orders in front of everyone.

This was very embarrassing, but she tried not to meet anyone's gaze.

"Sir!" He urges on.

"I know you weren't copying, so come out. Since you said it isn't a combined work, no issue, just come out."

Deep down she prayed he doesn't get punished because of her.

"I know if I come there myself, I am going to see that both works are the same, but I won't bother wasting my time, just split up. You, come here." He points at someone Jewel didn't have an idea about.

In no time Leo leaves the seat, which gets replaced by someone else, meanwhile Jewel stared straight ahead.

"You can sit!"

She takes a deep breath, on sitting down her gaze meets Ekanem, who only adjusts.

This was typically the worst nightmare.

They hadn't spoken since Ekanem issued that warning to her.

It's been over 30 minutes, with no result to show, apart from the answers she had gotten from Leo, she hadn't been able to write anything else. Also, she hadn't gotten a lot from Leo before they got changed.

At this moments, she always wonders why she had always been this dull, no matter how she tried, it was always difficult. She was the kind, which you have to explain to over and over again, before she understood, and had to put in great effort before she passed an exam.

This did surprise her. Wasn't it the same Ekanem who had spoken rudely to her, she always had a different behaviour, on different occasions? Sometimes nice, other times rude. A theory Jewel had noted.

"I left the one's I didn't know undone!" Leo responds, like it was annoying him or something. "Guy, it is peppering me, look at this one," Leo says looking frustrated, meanwhile Jayden burst into laughter. He couldn't help it. Leo had cracked him up.

"Use past questions to study," Jayden says meanwhile he noticed Leo was now focused on something else, or rather say someone else. Following the gaze, it lands on Jewel, who was getting pulled by the waist by Nathan.

This was a sight he didn't like seeing. Was it only him, or could any other guy relate to how weird it is, seeing their sister and a guy, been all lovey-dovey. This there so-called couple's go was something he hated seeing.

It was one thing to have those sweethearts in class who were always rubbing it on people's faces, and the girl is your sister.

To think she had noticed he only ever called her by her full name.

"How was the exam?" She asks quite nervous.

"It was okay, your?" Jayden asks, meanwhile she swallows the lump down her throat when she noticed they were now doing nothing other than staring at each other silently.

They both blurt out at the same time, this makes Geraldine chuckle, while Jayden just stared back at her, with a slight grin.

"Go first!" He says.

"No, you go first!" She chuckles.

"Seriously, you can go first."

"Where are you both going to?" Someone suddenly interrupts, making Geraldine look up, she recognised the girl as his cousin Ivy immediately.

Ivy takes a seat, sitting on part of Jayden's leg in the process, she doesn't get up, even when he acted out of discomfort, which showed it was done on purpose.

"Why did you both suddenly keep mute?" She asks giving them a funny look. While she bends over trying to pick a shit of paper. Geraldine could swear she caught Jayden getting a peek of her boobs, which the first two of her buttons were left undone.

Now the vibe around them was just weird. She wasnt comfortable talking anymore.

"To think she thinks I am scared of her!" Ekanem chuckles now taking a spoon full of beans. "Dont let me pour this anger of this stupid beans they cooked on you." She says, meanwhile Jewel just stared back at her very provoked.

"I will just ignore you!" She hisses now facing her food.

"Like I saw anyone here when I got in," Ekanem says.

"Ekanem!" Jewel yells, making eyes turn to their direction.

"Jewel!" Ekanem says hitting the desk this time. The look on peoples faces, it was obvious they were confused at what was going on.
"Ehen, dont face your table, about!" Ekanem suddenly says now concentrating on the viewers, ignoring her argument with Jewel.
