The classroom is extremely quiet. Geraldine had taken an empty class for prep. She felt like being on her own, and in a secluded environment. So she avoided the hall, they always had prep since she wasn't on duty, and took an empty classroom.

The truth of the matter was, she didn't want to have any other form of argument with Jewel, which was still going to happen, because she knew Jewel very much, she was still going to drag the issue down, especially when she didn't give her the time to respond.

Jewel was hardly friendly towards people, she was quite aware of that, but this behaviour she was exhibiting towards Munachi was off. She had been doing it, for a while, she had kept quiet, thinking it would die down. But that was the height of it.

Trashing someone like that because you are privileged was bad. Everyone had one or two flaws in there life, no one was perfect. You don't just look down on people that way.

"Only you know what, you are doing in this empty hall." Geraldine turns to the door way, immediately she heard his voice, only to seem his shining his teeth.

"I have never seen any boy that does aporoko more than you do," Geraldine responds, now turning to her book. "The fact you have a dirty mind, doesn't mean everyone is dirty-minded like you," Geraldine concludes throwing a glance on him. Meanwhile, Jason let's out a short-lived laughter.

"Look at this one. What did i say? Now who has a dirty mind? I only said, you are the only one, who knows what you are doing here, all alone, " He chuckles. "Aunty what else did I say?" Jason who had advanced down to where she was seated during the small talk, says now sitting directly opposite her, with a smile on his face.

Geraldine suddenly closes her textbook and faces him, with an amused look on her face.

"Explain, what you meant by your previous statement, if its not what I said," Geraldine says giving him an amusing look.

"God. Gidi, just so you know, you have got a dirty mind. This isn't the first time you are making such statement, " Jason defends laughing.

"That's because you always instigate it,” Geraldine says, nodding her head, and pulling her book closer. "I was reading before you came." She says now opening her book.

"Deep down we both know, you weren't reading," Jason says and laughs. "Sha, let me leave you to continue your business with privacy," Jason says, smiling sheepishly, meanwhile Geraldine turns to him, like he had grown an extra head.

"God, you are disgusting," Geraldine says, making a face.

"You are dirty-minded," Jason responds laughing, while he heads to the door.

"Clown!" Geraldine says, letting out a smile involuntarily.

   Relaxing into the seat, Jason watches Gbemiga and Axel spin there pen on the table, most times they acted like kids and did the most ridiculous things.

"Axel, stop it." Gbemiga threatens. Meanwhile, Jason who had been watching then silently, suddenly catches a glimpse of someone.

Seeing her, he couldn't just take his eyes off her, more like today she looked more attractive than ever.

Most times he wondered how and when he fell fall her, because he always tried convincing himself she wasn't attractive, not his type, but just couldn't take his eyes off her.

On a normal day, he would have gone to tease her, like he had been doing for a couple of days. But today he just couldn't, especially with the look on her face.

She was frowning, he could tell she was in the worst mood, he knew better than approaching her, taking his eyes off her, he meets Munachi's gaze, which she breaks immediately there eyes meet.

Wondering what was wrong, he watches her, expecting her to look his way again, but she doesn't.

"Jason, check out this bastard.” Axel suddenly says referring to Gbemiga. It was obvious they had gotten into an argument. Jason wasn't surprised either, he had been expecting this. They had even taken longer than necessary.

"Get out!" Gbemiga says.

"Ash... Ley... Ashley." Ekanem moans while he thrust from the backside. She holds onto the sink for support. Meanwhile, Ashley continues thrusting.

They both try there best to control their moans, avoiding making any sound, to avoid anyone seeing them.

"Best friend my ass. Isn't Ashley suppose to be Ukeme's boyfriend, girl you irritate me, merely looking at you, I feel like puking.” Jewel says, she didn't miss the remorse on her face.

"Jewel look..., " Ashley is cut off when she shuts the door on him and Ekanem.

He shuts his eyes and leans onto the wall, meanwhile Ekanem doesn't utter a word.

"Cherish, the cream is on my locker," Eva says, meanwhile Cherish gets it.

She was currently lying flat on her chest, with her back exposed, she just had her bump short on, you could get a glimpse of her boobs, which was slightly exposed.

"Apply that way." She instructs Cherish who does as told, most of there roomies where reading, some gisting, currently Zara was sleeping.

Cherish was already used to this. Eva had turned it into a habit. She always asked her, to help massage her, which she did without complaining. 

Taking the cream, and applying it on her back, she doesn't miss the body movement.

    The hostel Is very noisy, Geraldine yells immediately she gets in, alongside Munachi, but not after catching a glimpse of Ukeme and Ekanem. Wondering how they could he in the room, and Junoir's who be making it this rowdy. Even though other SS3 students didn't say anything. They were supposed to, because they where prefects.

"If i get any more noise, I would use the falter as an example, you don't want to know what the punishment is." Geraldine threatens. Immediately, the room is quiet.

She didn't miss Ekanem and Ukeme's gaze. More like they just noticed her, because of her voice. Ukeme mutters something, Geraldine couldn't make out, but could tell was about her, because of the look Ekanem gave her.

She gradually tears her gaze from them, and walks directly to her bunk.

"Honestly, I don't like those girls," Munachi says, reminding Geraldine she had company.

"I don't see eye to eye with them either,” Geraldine says, Clearly not interested in the topic.

Munachi who had gotten the hint, kills the topic, by bringing up another one.

"I noticed you are Jewel didn't talk today in class. I also have something to say.” Munachi says to Geraldine who just keeps mute. "Honestly, that girl has got pride, she did something wrong, the least she could do is apologize instead she is carrying face for you," Munachi says with an irritated look on her face.

"God knows, i can never keep her kind near me," Munachi says now picking up her sweater. Meanwhile, Geraldine who just did the listening, doesn't utter a word. "Is she expecting you to come and apologise or do what?"

"Can we not drag the issue further?" Geraldine asks calmly.

"We aren't fighting, but giving
each other, space! that's how we
handle ourselves, when we fight,
she would surely come around."
Geraldine says, meanwhile
Munachi stares back at her, with a
blared look on her face.

"Please can you also try to tolerate
her, she is just like that, she can be
annoying. but trust me, Jewel is a
nice person. You would love her,
If you get to know her, she is just
complicated." Geraldine explains,
with all sincerity.

Meanwhile, Munachi whose face
wasn't as bright as it was a few
minutes ago, blinks twice.

"I guess you both are pretty
close, maybe best friends." There
was no excitement in her voice.
Meanwhile, Geraldine nods her
head.

  Seeing Geraldine and Munachi, Ekanem's brights face, turns into a frown.

"I just hate this girl. And what pisses me off the most, is she and Geraldine are actually friends, I mean they get along pretty well." Ekanem complains to Ukeme, meanwhile Geraldine and Munachi meets there gaze.

"The girl has done nothing wrong to me. But so long, she mingles with Gidi, its a No from my side." Ukeme comments in a casual tone.

"You need to see the way Mr John talks about her, like without her, we are nothing. i don't even see anything in her." Ekanem hisses. Meanwhile, Ukeme chuckles, she was already used to Ekanem's tantrums.

"Also, the way she carries herself!" Ekanem says and hisses.

"How come I knew, you would be here?" Leo asks, peaking into the empty classroom, meanwhile, Jayden takes his head up.

"Because you have seen me here countless of time," Jayden responds in amusement. "Don't give yourself so much credit." He says, closing his textbook.

"You might be a tough competition." Leo chuckles, meanwhile Jayden does the same. This wasn't the first time Leo was telling him that. "Why aren't you into sports?" Leo asks. Because currently, that was the activity going on.

"Not a fan of jumping around," Jayden says, meanwhile Leo let's out a short-lived laughter.

"i said sport."

"It's still the same as jumping around," Jayden says.

"God, you are funny." Leo smiles. "I wasn't expecting you to be, although you have got the body. Because you seem more obsessed with your books.” Leo says.

"You don't participate too,” Jayden says. Quite interested in the conversation. Leo always managed to make him respond and pick his interest, what a lot of people couldn't do. He had also noticed Leo was a lot like him, the only difference was he didn't find talking a problem.

He wasn't married to his books during the day, but whenever he woke up in the middle of the night, Leo's reading lamp was on. He also looked like those guys interested in sports, he didn't just have the body, but the height.

Jayden was tall, but Leo was taller.

The fact Jayden rarely talked, didn't mean, he didn't notice whatever went on around him. If there was something he noticed, it was the fact, Leo was always by himself, during lunch, service, assembly, that didn't mean he didn't have small talks with the boys in the dormitory, but he didn't walk with friends.

"I used to. Football and basketball.” Leo says and pauses like he was thinking about something. "i swim too.” Jayden took note of how Leo's voice dropped, and how his face suddenly turns pale.

"I was part of the football team, but stopped when a new captain was introduced. As for basketball, there are some person's there, I avoid at any cost, I don't want anything to trigger any confrontation." Leo explains, meanwhile Jayden who wasn't satisfied with the response, nods his head, letting his eyes fall on his book.

It seemed more like, Leo was finding it difficult saying something.

"I was a very good swimmer, but suddenly have a phobia." Leo pushes on, meanwhile Jayden turns to him.

His theory wasn't making sense.

"Not until I lost my baby sister,” Leo explains, meanwhile Jayden raises his eyebrows in realisation.

"Sorry about that," Jayden says, he felt sorry for him, he had never thought of losing anyone dare to him, he couldn't even bear the thought of anything tragic happening to Jewel.

Leo suddenly lets out a small smile. But Jayden could see he was still hurting, he had just opened an old wound.

"She drowned?" Jayden asks.

"I wish it was only that, and not so painful,” Leo says. "It happened last year. My elder brother hosted a party as usual. There was power surge, like everything seemed more like a dream, I can't really wrap my head around what happened till today. She didn't only drown but got electrocuted." Leo explains. "And I just stood there, I could do nothing about it," Leo says, you could see he was struggling with his emotions. "And it was all his fault," Leo says, now turning to Jayden who didn't understand his last statement. "I am really sorry," Jayden says.

"She was just nine, by now, she should have been in junior class, " Leo says smiling sadly.

"l am sorry." Jayden who didn't know what to say repeats. Meanwhile, Leo chuckles. Jayden sucked at what he was trying to do.

"Honestly, you are a clown." Leo laughs, meanwhile Jayden who wasn't sure of what to do next, joins in the laughter too.

"I suck at trying to console someone, but I feel you. I can't even imagine losing my sister. She could be a handful, but I don't think I can leave without her." Jayden explains, meanwhile Leo smiles.

"You guys are pretty close?”

"I would have said no, but she practically tells me everything, even when am not interested.” He chuckles. "She can be a leach, most times," Jayden explains.

"I was the big brother.” Leo smiles. "Dad isn't with us. Mum is an actress, never at a place." Leo explains, he pauses like he was finding it difficult saying something else. "So, we were pretty close, she was never happy whenever school was in session, because i always had to leave," Leo explains, smiling. More like he was thinking about some memories with his younger sister.

Meanwhile, Jayden's gaze meets Leo's wristwatch, he is shocked at how long, they had been having a conversation. This was the longest he had communicated with someone who was neither his parents, grandma, sibling or Ivy.

"With that his frog voice." Nathan laughs, he knew Ashley hated it when someone insulted Davido. If you weren't there, but seeing the effect, you might think, he was actually the one insulted.

"Haters!" Jason who had his uniforms ina bucket shouts.

"Fem! We no drag, he doesn't have the voice, but there is none of his songs, which isn'ta hit." Ashley says.

"Abi!" Jason echoes.

"With that yeye album." Tochukuwu laughs. "What did he sing there?"

Ashley burst into laughter, followed by Jason.

"Guy, this shows, you are nothing but a hater," Jason says. "Use your church mind and tell me, Jowo doesn't make sense?"

"Abi is it Something fishy, The best, Fade, Lala..., "

"Or Holy ground. All this haters you guys should hide your face." Jason helps Ashley to conclude his statement.

"You want to say his album makes more sense than Wizkid's own?" Nathan says and laughs.

"Jokers." Tochukwu laughs. "Which album. Those rhymes?" Ashley asks.

"Abi nursery school songs?" Jason asks with an amusing looks. "Guy, that is just waste of Mb, " Tochukwu says.

"Davido is just show off. He doesn't help without showcasing it, so everyone can see how nice he is." Tochukuwu says sounding serious.

"E dey pain you? Let wizkid help and showcase na. No, be person wey get money dey showcase. Davido na boss." Ashley says.

"The guy can brag," Tochukwu says, more like he was the only one against them now, because Nathan had left the room, leaving just the three of them. "Imagine he called himself the best in..., "

"Did he lie? Isn't he the best?" Ashley asks.

"How many musicians has wizkid helped, that is in the position of those that Davido has helped. My guy doesn't slack, those he brought up, are at the spotlight. Leave wizkid. That one isn't a human being." Jason says.

"Wizkid has brought up a lot..., "

"Can you compare them, with Davido's brought up?" Ashley asks.

"Davido na boss abeg. Where you wan start to dey compare? Na money? Aren't you seeing Peruzzi?" Ashley asks.

"Who, is it I'm lu?" Tochukwu laughs. "His father's money,’ Tochukwu says.

"E be like you don dey talk too much Small talk, you don dey talk who talk!" Ashley sings, trying to imitate Davido.

"Fem!" Jason backs him mockingly shaking his waist, and using his hands to indicate Tochukwu should shut up.

"Oboy, you don dey do too much. Small talk, you don dey look who O boy," Ashley sings, going over to Tochukwu's bunk to dance.

"Fem!" Jason says and laughs. "One time three gbosa for the two person wey born you!" Jason yells.

"As In eh!" Gbemiga who had just walked in, immediately Jason had sang that, yells as a go ahead for him to continue.

"I no go wan to try lose you chai they no born me well!" Ashley says now dancing and smiling, just to annoy Tochukwu.

"I no fit tire for your matter, lai lai say I no do," Jason backs him up, nodding his head.

"Suddenly man ah calm down, man down for only you yeah!" Ashley sings.

"Many, many man they try to whine you. i no really mind they just dey whiney, Many, many gyal they try to whine me, Baby no go mind dem just be whiney! Many, many man they try to whine you, I no really mind they just dey whiney, Many, many gyal they try to whine me Baby no go mind dem just be whiney!" The three boys sings, laughing at the same time.

Meanwhile, Gbemiga who didn't know what made react that way, sings alongside.

"If you want make I ginger give me the kokoro, Ma ko je bi jollof, Anywhere I go, Je kan mo peno ma..,

"Abeg. shut up. Don't spoil my language like that." Jason attacks Tochukwu.

"It's Je kan mo pe no ma," Gbemiga says, in a mock tone.

"Chai. You have suffered!" Xavier says to Tochuckwu and laughs. "Wizkid fans come and save your guy. He is in Davido's zone. Sha Burna boy we know.”

"See, I no dey use ear hear that name," Ashley says with a serious look.

"Isn't he your River's brother?" Xavier laughs.

"It's only Duncan mighty, Mr 2kay and Omah lah I know. Those are true P.H guys.” Ashley chuckles.

"Senior Ashley!" A junior calls out peaking through the door, getting everyone's attention. "Patron, said | should tell you, your mummy is at the waiting room." The junior student says.

This is quite surprising to Ashley, he couldn't help but wonder why his Mum was there, he didn't call her, neither was it his visiting day. She didn't even come during visiting day, which was the previous week. He hoped everything was okay.
