"Thank you!" Geraldine says to one of the maids, before pulling a chair, she didn't miss how quiet everyone seemed, with one look at Aaliyah, the stunt she pulled gushed back into her head.

Geraldine also knew the drama was far from over, but she was satisfied with what she had done.

"Zaddy!" Grayson calls out, making everyone turn to the entrance, they all knew what he meant, although he didn't pronounce it properly.

"Dad!" Geraldine calls out, meanwhile he pulls her left cheek playfully, earning a tiny groan and smile.

"What took you so long?"

Geraldine takes her head up slowly, immediately she heard this question, she looks from her Mum down to her Dad, who didn't respond to the question, even though they all heard it, and knew who it was directed to, it seemed weird, but Geraldine didn't miss the tensed environment.

"Are we waiting for anything?" Tari suddenly asks, turning to Geraldine, who looked rather too confused.

"Asher bless the food." Wendy suddenly says, meanwhile Aaliyah let's out a loud groan.

With the sound made, Geraldine drops her fork, she knew what was next.

"Liyah!" Wendy suddenly calls out, you could tell she was worried, with the way she sounded.

"My mouth, I am feeling pains," Aaliyah says, meanwhile Geraldine and Asher gives each other a knowing glance, they all knew where the grammar was leading too.

"Come closer, let me have a look." Wendy ways looking grim.

"I hit it in the dark," Aaliyah explains while she gets up from the chair. "I was so scared, Gidi and Asher locked me up in the dark," Aaliyah explains, looking like she was going to burst into tears at any moment.

That was it, Geraldine was aware it was going to happen, she knew Aaliyah too well, there was no way she wasn't telling there Mum, and she knew what next.

"Why do you always have to treat her badly?" Her Mum barks, she could see the fury in her eyes.

Geraldine doesn't respond, she knew how her Mum acted when it came to Aaliyah. She always acted like she was treating Aaliyah so badly.

"Baby, let me see your lips." Tari suddenly says pulling Aaliyah closer to him, he examines her with his eyes before uttering another word. "Sorry, your Mum would look at it, after dinner." Tari suddenly says, tearing his gaze away from his little daughter, now facing Geraldine.

"She is a child, don't go so extreme on her," Tari says calmly, then faces his food.

"Just that?"

She heard her Mum say immediately, she knew the dinner was far from been peaceful.

"She turned my room upside down and took my phone." Geraldine suddenly says, trying to hide how upset she was, she thought her Mum was been unfair, especially when it has to do with something related to Aaliyah.

"Of course, you should kill..., "

"I didn't take her phone." Aaliyah blurts out.

"Asher!" Geraldine suddenly calls out.

"Mum, they are both lying, Asher," Aaliyah says immediately, even before Asher could respond.

"Aaliyah, next time don't touch your sister's things, without her permission, Gidi, don't go extreme on her, can we just eat?" Tari suddenly says.

"Not until I let her know, how she treats Liyah, Geraldine," Wendy calls out.

Whenever she went all full name with Geraldine, she knew how serious the situation was.

"Aaliyah is your younger sister, stop treating her like she is a trash or something."

"I am not treating her like a trash. Aaliyah is just..., "

"Mummy, she said you picked me from the waste bin." Aaliyah suddenly speaks, making everyone turn to Geraldine, the only person left out was Grayson, who was clearly struggling to get his head up.

"Gidi," Wendy calls out.

"Gidi, apologise to your Mum, so we could all eat." Tari suddenly says giving her Mum a look.

"But she acts like one," Geraldine responds immediately. "She keeps on acting naughty because she knows you would keep on taking her sides, even when she is wrong," Geraldine says not blinking, her eyebrow raised, making her look very serious, even though she had lost her temper and appetite.

"Did you just raise your voice on me?" Wendy suddenly asks.

"Gidi, not another word." Tari suddenly says, looking very serious.

"I am not hungry," Geraldine says suddenly getting up from the chair.

"One step. If you take one step, get you butt down, you don't walk out while I am still talking to you." Wendy suddenly says.

"What are you going to do? Smack me? When it comes to Gidi you always want to bite, but with Aaliyah? angel Aaliyah, whatever she does is never wrong in your eyes." Geraldine who had clearly lost her temper, says and stops walking away.

She heard sounds, and knew it was her Mum probably coming for her.

"Leave me alone." She heard her Mum yell, she wasn't looking at there direction, but could tell her Dad was holding her back.

"She is just angry." She heard her Dad say. "She is a child."

"If she thinks she is mad, I would show it was also a mad woman that gave birth to her." Wendy struggles.

"Who did she take after? You both have to learn how to control it. They are both your kids, stop making it seem like one is more important." Tari suddenly says, making his wife pull away from him roughly.

"Now you are accusing me of mistreating my kids, can you hear yourself at least?" Wendy suddenly asks. "Besides I warned you never to touch me ever again, I...,"

"God. I am done here. Do you want to do this in front of the kids? Wendy, you are sick." With that he picks Grayson up and heads out, meanwhile the twins stares at his retreating figure.

"Dad?" Jewel asks immediately she joins them in the dining room, it was clear she was referring to her Grandma, since she was still mad at her Mum for asking Ivy to stay In her bedroom.

The fact also remained, she hadn't seen her Dad, since he dropped them.

"Your father had an important business meeting, he is out of the country currently." Her Mum said, even though she didn't ask her directly.

Jewel couldn't help but feel sad, the only person who could make her holiday worthwhile was out.

"He didn't tell me before living," Jewel says sulking like a baby, taking her eyes up only to meet Ivy giving her a look, she didn't understand what it meant, but as usual, she just had to roll her eyes at her. They didn't like each other, she didn't see any need to pretend.

"I haven't seen Jason since he got back." Mr Adenuga says, meanwhile her daughter-in-law serves her dinner.

Jewel watches her Mum take a deep breath, before responding, it also dawned on her, that neither of her brothers were down for dinner.

"Jason said Ashley is lonely, he got to..." April suddenly pauses. "Honestly I didn't understand anything he said, since it was about going to Ashley's for the night, I just let him go," April says to her mother-in-law, she didn't miss the sudden pale look on her face.

"Did you notice how pale Fisayo looked the last time she was here?" Mrs Adenuga suddenly says, meanwhile Jewel bites into her apple, since no one had started eating.

"She looked stressed," April responds truthfully, meanwhile Mrs Adenuga tries to adjust on the chair.

"I am not just comfortable with her leaving with that man, it's just..., "

"Mum!" April suddenly calls out turning to Jewel's direction, meanwhile Jewel chews the apple in her mouth, she watches her grandma keep quiet, it was obvious the conversation was stopped because of her and Ivy.

    This question brings him back to reality, he was certainly thinking about something else while he walked into the sitting room.

His Mum had summoned him down, a few minutes ago, but he was just so busy solving a maths problem.

"Was busy with an assignment." He responds, aiming at sitting on the chair, only to meet Ivy intense gaze, which she broke immediately there eyes met.

He couldn't help but watch her for a while, different thoughts clouding his mind, they haven't had the chance to speak, because he was just curious about her travelling over, when school was in section, not to forget she wasn't a day student, but a boarding student.

"I spoke to Jay about what you told me!"

He heard his Mum say, which makes him take his head up slowly. He could see her staring at him grandma, which meant she was referring to her.

"I haven't had the chance to talk to him, he is always busy."

He heard his Grandma reply to his Mums, statement.

"This is the final year, they can only take her in for the exams, he promised to talk to someone who could help."

"They took Jayden."

"That's because it was at the beginning of the term."

Jayden watches both Mum and Grandma talk, without an incline of what they were on about.

"Don't worry, Jay would take care of it." She assures. "Ivy, your private tutor would resume next week, just get prepared for you WEAC, everything would be taken care of, hopefully, you would be joining Jewel and the boys soon."

Jayden pauses immediately he heard this, he slowly turns to his Mum, meanwhile Jewel suddenly start coughing, he slowly turns to her direction, only to see her coughing so badly, her eyes red. Before he could react, his Mum had already gotten to her.

     Geraldine lets out a hiss, Immediately she slumps on the bed, her eyes seemed red. Mere looking at her, you could tell she was fighting tears.

Funny enough she just needed to talk to someone, picking her phone up, the first person she thinks of is Jewel, also remembering, they haven't been in talking terms too, but she swipes it, taps her number, and calls.

It rings for a while, Geraldine stares at the phone, once she doesn't get any response, she tries calling back, but gets the same result.

She slowly coils up like she was in a shell or something, picking her phone all over again, and going straight to the one thing she had in mind.

Which was Jewel,'s home. The first thing she taps once she gets there, picks her interest, Ashley and Nathan taking something she couldn't make out, because it didn't just seem dark, it was dark.

Wondering what was going on, she swipes only to see a video of a girl grinding on Nathan, she lets out an involuntary hiss.

They just retired for mid-term break today, and were already partying, with her set, expect anything, they loved partying. "You get to fuck any girl you wish, be rest assured, everyone would forget everything that went down here, by tomorrow. Condoms are much." Ashley says, pulling something, which Jason could tell was a pack of condom and tosses it into his hands.

"Is your cousin coming?" Jason suddenly says pulling Ashley to a less noisy area.

The awkward look, giving to him by Ashley, makes him relax a bit. He was expecting the party to be thrown at Ashley's place as usual,  which was the grand ma's house, but it turns out, Nathan was the host, while Ashley, the event planner as usual.

"I didn't bother to invite Jayden, because he would turn it down." Ashley suddenly explains.

Jason takes a breath, before responding.

"I mean Gidi."

He noticed the look Ashley gave him, more like he was shocked or surprised, he wouldn't blame him, neither he or Geraldine were the best of friends.

"No!" Ashley responds bluntly.

"Ash!" They both hear the name, turning around to see Nathan, Xavier and Dashlin, staring at there direction.

Jason took note of how different they looked, even older, the fact remained, they were older too, but the school uniform always hard a way of making people look younger.

"Were you expecting..., she would have if I had hosted it, her Mum won't let her!"

"Ash!"

"I don't know what those baboons want, will be back." Ashley suddenly says, running off.

    Jason takes a deep breath, one of the main reasons he came was because he expected to see Geraldine, which was disappointing, looking around to see if there where people he actually related with, he stuffs the condom into his pocket immediately he remembered what he was holding. Looking around, his eyes finally meets with someone, he wouldn't deny been shocked to spot Leo, who he barely recognized.

"The devil himself." Xavier chuckles, meanwhile Ashley watches Nathan, whose eyes were just on one person "Leo"

It was clear he was wondering, the same things on his mind too, Leo stopped coming to parties they hosted, what changed?

Leo on the other hand who was clearly not aware of the stares he was getting, suddenly seats on a couch, you could see some teenagers grinding on each other.

They watch him reach out for something, which picked there interest. The next thing they see Is a cigarette in between his lips and a lighter.

"The angel smokes." Xavier suddenly says, there was no form of seriousness.

Ashley watches Nathan watch Leo, his face not betraying whatever was going on with him.

"I never knew he was into drugs..., "

"He isn't into drugs." Nathan suddenly says, there was a way he said it. "Thought he stopped smoking." It sounded more like he was talking to himself, a smirk suddenly appears on Nathan's face, confusing Ashley who had his eyes on Leo.

"I just hope he isn't here to make trouble, because I haven't fucked any girl yet." Xavier suddenly asks, meanwhile Nathan pulls a bottle of alcohol, ready to consume.

        Jewel checks her phone again, it was clear, she was expecting a call, not just from Geraldine but Nathan, she had seen Geraldine's calls, and missed it on purpose, which she regretted minutes later, but couldn't bring herself to call back, it seemed to be, the most difficult thing she had thought of doing in a very long time, most times, she wondered how weak their bond was, which broke so easily.

As usual she was back to stalking, As funny as it sounded, she never followed Ekanem, but she stalked her, more like there was this silent competition between them on Instagram. She was damn sure Ekanem did the same, because she had liked her pics before, which she was sure, was a very big mistake.

They both didnt follow or talk to each other nicely, Ekanem could never like her picture, she sure knew it was a mistake.

With the aim of searching for Nathan, she taps "QueenOfHearts" by mistake, her eyes meeting with a post which got her attention.

Ekanem was grinding on someone, not just someone, "Nathan"

She had to blink twice, it looked so erotic, it affected her, she couldn't deny that fact.

She found herself rewatching the video, which looked so raw, they looked more like they were dry-humping than dancing. Once last glance at Ekanem, she throws her phone away, that was when it dawned on her, a party was been hosted.
