Daichi watched Tendou walk straight past him, to the living room where Ushijima was seated on the floor. "Hey Bub." 

Ushijima looked up. "Hi Satori."

"Whatcha doin?"

"Starting a puzzle." He pointed to the coffee table. Ushijima pulled Tendou into his lap.

Tendou giggled softly. "Aw look who's affectionate."

Ushijima played with the edge of his shirt, quiet.

"You okay?"

"Mhmm." He kept working on the puzzle.

Tendou nodded. Ushijima tended to quiet down when he was focused so this was okay.

Daichi was sitting closer to the kitchen, going through something on his laptop.

Tendou yawned. "We just gonna sit today?"

"Would you like to do something?"

"I dunno… Hm. Maybe an at home date."

Daichi got up, looking at his phone. "I need to go. Good luck with that."

"You good?"

"Yeah… Suga's just… I'll explain later."

"Okay…"

Daichi walked out.

Tendou turned back to Ushijima. "I have practice tonight."

"I'm driving you there."

"Mhmm." Tendou rubbed his hair. "Okay… how about we make a fort later and watch a movie? That should be nice and calm." Ushijima looked up at him. "Do you like that idea?"

"Hm… that sounds nice."

"Great…" Tendou smiled as he ran his fingers through Ushijima's hair.

Ushijima tilted his head back, humming softly.

Tendou smiled. He put their foreheads together, smiling as Ushijima relaxed. "Bub…"

"Mm?" Ushijima's brows raised slightly.

"You sleepy?"

"Mm mm."

Tendou chuckled softly. "You're so cute…"

When Tendou was walking up from the bar with Ushijima, he seemed very happy. He'd gone straight for Ushijima's hand and held on. He was even wearing a small smile on his face.

Ushijima seemed happy compared to what others saw in public.

It felt nice.

"So. I'm gonna show off my flips again. You're gonna be amazing and make drinks." Tendou let go of Ushijima's hand. "Okay?"

Ushijima nodded.

"Great! I'll see you later then!" Tendou pecked his lips, starting to turn to leave.

"Satori you just… um…"

"Kissed you." Tendou turned around frowned. "With no warning. You okay?"

"Do it again."

"Huh?!"

"Do it again." Ushijima repeated, looking Tendou in the eye.

Tendou laughed, going back to him. He put his arms up. "Come here Ushy!"

Ushijima leaned down and Tendou pulled him into a hug, pressing his lips firm against Ushijima's. Ushijima was surprisingly fast in catching onto what to do, pressing back very carefully and hugging back.

Tendou pulled back slightly and laughed quietly. "Aw. That was so gentle."

Ushijima smiled faintly. "I liked that."

"Tell you what. I'll give you another kiss and go inside and I'll let you cuddle me as much as you want later."

"Mm." Ushijima kissed Tendou again, slower. "Good luck."

Tendou stood in shock as Ushijima walked away.

Ushijima was a good kisser. It felt so pure to kiss him.

None of his partners before Ushijima were like that.

His first boyfriend back in highschool hadn't kissed him at all. His first girlfriend kissed him rarely but when she did it was with too much tongue and it was just weird. Three other boyfriends of his had given him gentle cheek kisses but immediately wanted to get into bed. Just like Yuito.

Tendou shook the thought away.

This relationship wasn't sexually charged.

He was sure Ushijima was asexual anyways so it was fine.

Tendou put his bag down and looked at Suga. "Your eyes are red. Are you high?"

"I wish." Suga tossed his phone into his bag. "You got a lighter?"

"It's Friday?"

"Oh shut up. Do you have one?"

"Not with me, no."

"Damn it." Suga put his head in his hands. "I need a cigarette."

"Why?"

"I'm stressed, okay?" He reached into his bag. "Ah. Matches."

"Suga… that's not healthy."

"Neither is burning your hands or drinking yourself shit faced." Suga left.

Tendou sat there, yet again shocked.

That was personal.

Too personal.

Tendou took a shaky breath and got up. He headed into the middle of the room, trying to relax. "Does anyone wanna try the partner dance with me?"

A few people stepped forward. He smiled.

"Thanks."

Ushijima huddled close to Tendou, huffing. "Stop it."

"I can't help it." Tendou whined. He turned. "I'm not used to being spooned. I like holding people so I'm not used to this."

Ushijima rolled on top of Tendou carefully and laid on his chest. "There."

"Yay!"

Ushijima shook his head.

Tendou sat up, propping himself up by pillows. "You seem comfy in my lap."

"Mhmm."

Tendou smiled. He rubbed Ushijima's hair. "Come on Bub. Relax. It's okay. Look."

Ushijima looked around them. The room was a soft pink and there were thin sheets hanging from the ceiling around the bed.

"Isn't it pretty?"

"Mhmm." Ushijima sat up in Tendou's lap, touching the sheets gently.

Tendou rubbed Ushijima's sides gently, smiling. "You comfy?"

"Very."

Tendou hummed. He watched Ushijima look around, loving his wonder. Ushijima yawned softly. He shook his head before looking at Tendou. He smiled at the red head. Tendou reached his arms up.

"Mm…" Ushijima laid back down on Tendou's chest.

"How was work?"

"Loud."

"Ah…" Tendou kissed his hair. "Well now it's nice and quiet and you're comfy. I'm right here too."

Ushijima yawned. "What time is it?"

"It's around nine."

"Mkay." Ushijima looked up and stared at him. "Can I have another kiss?"

Tendou smiled. He kissed Ushijima gently. "I'm gonna order something to eat, okay? Some Hayashi rice and some fried rice for me."

Ushijima smiled. "Okay." Ushijima kissed Tendou again.

"So soft." Tendou chuckled. He rubbed Ushijima's cheek. "You're so cute. I'll figure out how to get you to sleep tonight."

Ushijima nodded. He laid pretty much still as Tendou ordered them food, playing with the corner of a sheet. It felt nice to lay on Tendou's chest. So warm.
