。♡31♡。 Vows (Epilogue pt.1)

Author's perspective

Spring was around the corner, rejoicing the great moment of their lives. The nature, the surrounding and the sky was in its best form for the day.

Slowly and steady winds entered through the open window of the room, waving satin silk curtains. The mellow pink petals were floating in the air, acting as messengers between two hearts to send their love to each other.

The stuffed room was filled with silence for a while, the rush around seemed far gone when everyone's eyes started tearing, as they admired the one of the grooms of the grand day.

Taehyung's blonde hair was curled for the day. He was wearing a cream shaded pair of suit with a lacy shirt, adorned with pearls and satin ribbon bows, making him look ethereal as ever.

His face was brightened up like always. The greatest thing he wore for the day was his endearing smile which was not fading away while the eyes started flowing tears, slightly ruining his recently done makeup but he just couldn't care less.

He closed his eyes, kissing the letter in his hands written by his soon-to-be husband.

My angel, my Tae,

I can't believe this day has finally arrived. Everything seems to slow down in a slow motion but my heart is in a constant rush and impatience. I can't wait to see you and tell you how precious you're to me.

Every time my eyes land on you, I fly back in time, remembering our first meeting which was a coincidence but now you are my destiny.

This is my last letter to you as your lover and first as your husband. We are ending one relation just to start thousands more. You are my love, my life, my friend, my family, my heartbeat, my happiness and now my husband too.

I love you so much and will love you more and more everyday.

- Your husband, Jeon Jungkook

"I love you too, my husband." The blonde whispered, a smile erupting on his lips again.

Jimin slightly patted his shoulder, leaning forward to fix the pretty groom's hair and softly pressing the handkerchief to his eyes, soaking it with his tears.

Taehyung looked down, folding the letter again while biting his lip.

Jungkook's mother was joining them in the room. Her eyes were dripping tears of joy as she admired Taehyung through the reflection.

Taehyung finally stood up, turning himself to face Jungkook's mother who softly cupped his face, pulling him closer to land a sweet kiss on his forehead.

"You look like an angel, my baby." She whispered and Taehyung couldn't help but get emotional.

"Don't cry, mom." He assured her but began tearing again.

"Aigoo, I am not doing your touch up again and again, glad this make-up is waterproof but stop washing off the powder." Jimin complained, making everyone laugh at him and Taehyung mumbled a sorry.

A soft knock on the door interrupted everyone and they turned to see now Taehyung's father, wearing his priest robe, ready to help them to recite their vows for his son's wedding which made every moment of the wedding special for everyone.

He walked closer now, handing Taehyung his bouquet with teary eyes and this time Taehyung couldn't help but leaned over, hugging his only guardian.

The silent tears left his eyes when he embraced his father. Both cried together, whispering calming words to each other but emotions were testing them hard.

They pulled away and Taehyung's father started admiring his son as he slowly wandered his eyes on him and couldn't believe that he was witnessing such a wonderful day.

"My baby, you look so pretty, v-very pretty."

Father complimented with the voice dripping nothing but love for his child, the one he raised to spread the love around.

"Let's not let the other groom wait, yeah?" Yoongi asked, stepping in through the door and everyone wiped their tears, nodding in agreement.

"We should go, now."

🌸🌸🌸

The church was decorated with fresh flowers, satin ribbons and net lacy curtains, turning it into a heaven itself.

The spring season was adoring the meaning of the day. They decided to tie their souls and make promises during the time of cherry blossoms and inside the depth of cherry blossom trees all around.

Everything still felt like a dream. The entrance of the church had their names connected with heart on the boards decorated with cherry blossoms flowers.

The same place which witnessed their smitten love, their heartbreak, their separation, their pain, their agony and where God granted them their love.

The seats started to be filled inside the church with their loved ones, people from their family, their friends and everyone they knew in the school, the principal Kim Namjoon, Mr. Kim Seokjin, St. Jung Hoseok and Yoongi and Jimin as the grooms' men.

Jungkook wore his well fitting black classic suit for the day with a flower tucked in his front pocket and raven hair slightly parted, revealing his forehead, making him look stunningly handsome as always. His attire was completely contrasting with Taehyung.

He was now standing at the very end of the aisle, in front of God in the church, the same church, the most blissful place of their life which brought them together like the components of water which can never be separated, not by any force.

Jungkook shook his one leg, desperately waiting for Taehyung. He checked his wrist watch repeatedly as his eyes were fixed on the carpet in the aisle.

Yoongi was standing behind him who patted his shoulder, signing him to take deep breaths and Jungkook followed his instructions but soon his breath hitched as Taehyung stepped into the church, slowly walking to him through the aisle with his one hand tugging his father's arm and another holding the bouquet.

The church piano started playing with slow breezes hitting the windchimes. The melody of the mixture of both echoed everywhere round but still Jungkook could hear the sound of his heartbeats.

Taehyung's eyes were focusing down on the ground as he was very shy to look around because that day he was the point of attention for all.

His beauty was just too irresistible for others to not to lay their widened eyes on him.

Jungkook forgot how to blink, this was him, his lover, his life, his husband as all in one, his Taehyung who walked to him now on their wedding day.

Jungkook closed his eyes for a while, memories bringing him back to the time when he first saw him, under that cherry blossom tree.

He opened up his eyes, meeting his gaze with Taehyung who was smiling widely at his husband who started tearing up.

Jungkook couldn't help the overflowing tsunami of feelings. His heart was pounding inside his chest as he watched Taehyung's beautiful face and his wedding day look was taking his beauty to the peak.

Father gestured to Jungkook to take Taehyung's hand and Jungkook quickly came to reality, stretching his hand for Taehyung to hold.

Taehyung gladly accepted and Jungkook pulled him up on the stage. His teary eyes were not leaving Taehyung any time, making Taehyung look down shyly.

Jungkook leaned over, bringing his lips closer to the other one's ear.

"Look at me baby." He whispered softly, yet making fireworks explode inside Taehyung's chest who took a deep breath to tranquilize his emotions.

He slowly met his gaze with the other one and all he saw was love. They locked their gazes together, ready to drown in their eyes.

"Shall we begin?" Jimin asked desperately and the father nodded, waiting for the couple's response who nodded in agreement too.

Jungkook met his gaze with Taehyung again as the father began the spirituals.

❝We all are gathered here for tying the knot of two souls together which belong to Jeon Jungkook and my son, Kim Taehyung. Their love is witnessed by God itself and now they are ready to seal their promises in presence of their family and loved ones on this wonderful day. I am giving my blessings to them and I wish them happiness and prosperity for their future.

And now I would like to request my grooms of the day to recite their vows to each other, starting with Jeon Jungkook.❞

Jungkook gave a slight nod, eyes fixing on Taehyung and both their hands holding each other's.

❝I Jeon Jungkook, is the luckiest man in the world to get someone like you, Taehyung. Words are not even enough to describe my love to you.

You are the reason that I am standing here as a successful man where years ago I had lost myself already but you...❞

Jungkook bit his whimpering bottom lip as he got emotional.

Taehyung rubbed his thumbs against his hands and cried with him but he tried his best to encourage his husband.

❝...but you found myself and brought me out of my miseries. Cherry blossoms is the season of love and for me, it's beyond special, it's a season where I found you and lost too but see we are standing here again whilst this season.

For me you're the air I breathe, for me you are my source of energy and my reason for my existence. My guide, my love, my life, my Kim Taehyung. I love you so much darling.❞

Taehyung closed his eyes and sniffed up slightly, Jungkook's hands slowly traveled to his face, wiping the tears off. Their heart was filled with overwhelming joy wich now poured out in form of tears.

"Now my son, Kim Taehyung..." father encouraged and Taehyung sniffed up before nodding.

❝J-jeon Jungkook, my husband, my love, I am lucky too for having an admirer and lover like you. To me you are a universe that's beyond everything. You are my happiness, my fellow of lonesome days. The only light of hope.

I remember when I first saw you, I felt things I can't describe. Somewhere I knew it was love but I'm sorry for the hard days where I made you suffer this way.

I am sorry for my attempts of separation because I thought I was ruining your life but when we met again, I knew this time I just couldn't let you go.

I knew I loved you but I'm sorry for not expressing my feelings to you, I was helpless of being who I am but maybe God granted us this great opportunity.

I always considered your love and I always wondered that what in the world did I do to deserve you. But now I know no matter what, we are destined to be together and I can't live without you. I love you so much Jungkook.❞

Now Jungkook cried harder, his shoulders shaking dangerously. He had never been this overwhelmed in his life ever before and the crowd started cheering for them.

Father got emotional too but he calmed himself before finishing the spiritual.

"Now, Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung, do you promise each other to love forever even in good-bad days and even with your flaws?"

"I do" and both of them replied in unison with their locked gazes.

"Do you promise each other to love forever and to always be each other's constant support?"

"I do."

"Do you accept each as your life partners?"

"I do." And as they whispered while looking into each other's eyes, Jungkook could see the galaxy in Taehyung's eyes, deep and beyond everything which was his liver for him.

"You two can exchange rings now." With this St. Jung Quickly came up with their diamond rings fixed in velvety boxes.

Jungkook swiftly pulled it out and slided in Taehyung's ring finger, following Jungkook's actions Taehyung did the same and both their smiles widened.

"You two are a lawfully wedded couple now and now you two can kiss each other."

With this they slowly leaned over. Jungkook snaked his arms around other's waist and Taehyung pulled him closer by his neck, leaving a chaste kiss on each other's lips.

The crowd started clapping and cheering.

Jungkook's parents got emotional as they saw their son with his now husband. They were really very happy to see the two together and couldn't get tired of cheering the two.

With this Jungkook slowly carried Taehyung bridal style, making the crowd go wildly louder than ever as he led them outside in the garden, under the cherry blossoms tree. The guest followed them outside for the now started event.

They cut their wedding cake together under the tree and opened up the bottles of champagne for the guests.

Their friends went crazy as they started singing songs for the two. As soon as Jimin held the mic, Yoongi settled himself on the piano and surprised the couple with their present.

The two couldn't be less happy when they all started their speeches for the newlyweds, making them emotional all over again.

And now it was time for Taehyung to throw the bouquet behind him, as it was another spiritual activity of the wedding. Group of bachelors gathered behind him as he threw the bouquet joyfully, only to find it landing in Jimin's hands who smiled sheepishly, showing off to Yoongi and both smiled shyly.

Jungkook laughed at them and slowly pulled his now husband closer, eyes locking with each other as they were drowning in the depth of each other's gaze.

Jungkook looked up at the blooming tree and Taehyung followed his actions, they looked down together and then Jungkook smiled, slowly leaning over the other male who quickly pulled him in a passionate kiss and the crowd awed as they saw.

They sealed their lips together like their souls for eternity under the cherry blossoms tree, right in front of where their names were carved.

I love you Jungkook, I love you so much.

I love you so much too Taehyung, for now and forever.
