Layla Pov

I can't believe i'm entering a ring where we face off against opponents to see which universe will win or be erased. I was already prepared and its not like i'm the target when I hardly feel a thing in my bones which I show no signs of weakness. 

"Layla!" I heard Goku calling me as I open the door of the room next to his as I peek to see a smiling idiot as always.

"Yeah?" I replied blankly.

"Come on! The tournament of power is today and we've got to go!" He beamed as I sighed.

"Cool it Goku. Aren't you worried for the sake of our universe?" I arch an eyebrow at him as he grinned and then frowned.

"Yes. But, I have faith that we have what it takes to win the ring." He vowed as I rolled my eyes.

"If you say so." I said stretching as I felt strong arms around my waist that Goku smirked to pick me up and place me on his shoulder.

"HEY! Let me go this instant!" I banged on his back as he chuckled.

"The tournament we go!" He said exiting out the house and flew in the air to arrive where the others are waiting outside of the Capsule Corps. As Goku flew down he let me go when I was about to walk to the others until he stopped me by holding my shoulder.

"Layla...promise me you'll fight for the sake of our universe." He said in a serious tone as I nodded.

"I count on it." I replied as he smiled before pulling me in a warm embrace. Huh? No one has actually been warmed or satisfied around me when i'm usually cold hearten. He lets go to leave me stunned and Whis was there along with Lord Beerus as well to achieve in the match. Whis used his rod to teleport us all to the tournament which was in space and I must say that its really nothing like I would see for traveling in my days.

"Wow! This is a perfect challenging ring to be in." Goku beamed.

"Tch, I wouldn't say the least." Vegeta remarked.

"Welcome to the tournament of power!" The ring announced.
