Estrella laid back against the arm of the couch. Kie laid on the other side causing their legs to be tangled together. Pope sat in a chair across from them with John B sitting in his own on the other side of the porch as JJ walked around. Charlotte sat on the ground with her back against the couch next to Estrella.

"That was epic."

"Did you guys see Kelce's face?"

"Bomb drop!" JJ says before jumping onto an empty couch

"Another broken couch." John B sighs

"You gotta sleep there." Pope says

"I always sleep there." JJ says before the door opens. Estrella sits up as Sarah walks further onto the porch, "Hey. Well, hello, princess."

"What's up?" Estrella says earning a small smile from Sarah

"Shouldn't you be on Figure Eight with your little group of polo players? Or did you break up with Topper?" John B winces

"We're just friends." Sarah says before walking toward Pope

"He's just a friend." John B mumbles, "You have a lot of friends, Sarah Cameron."

"Yeah, and it seems like you've got some of your own too." She says turning to him

John B sits up, "All right, what are you doing here?"

Sarah sighs, "I'm here for Pope."

Upon hearing his name, the boy looks up. Sarah smiles, "I think I found the island room."

The other teens sit up when they hear this. Each of them having the same look of shock as they look over at Pope.

The teens piled into the Twinkie to make their way to the Cameron house as quickly as they could. John B and Sarah in the front while the others piled in the back.

"Guys, listen to this." Pope starts, "The diary says the cross holds the most holy relic in all of Christendom, the Garment of the Savior."

"So wait, he saying there's a holy garment inside the cross?" Kie asks

"Yeah. It says the garment is capable of healing the sick from any malady."

"Mmm, yeah. "If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well." JJ quotes. He looks around noticing everyone's eyes on him, "What? I went to Sunday school."

"Sure." Kie mumbles

"Well, that explains why Limbrey would want the cross so bad." Pope says, "She thinks it can heal her."

"What else does it say?" Charlotte asks

"Many feel that we have sinned to steal such a sacred thing, and God will strike His vengeance on us." Pope reads

"Thing is, God did have His vengeance." Estrella adds

"He sent a hurricane to sink the ship. Only Denmark survived."

A silence settles over the van as John B continues on to the Cameron estate. It's only a few minutes before the teens hops out and follow Sarah upstairs.

"Whoo!"

"This place still freaks me out." John B says

"Yeah, same." JJ adds

"Pope, look." Sarah says as she leads them into a room

"Whoa! You've got to be kidding me." Pope says

"Yeah. I know, right? It's the island room." Sarah smiles

Estrella enters with JJ right behind her. All of them looking around at torn up wallpaper and the drawings that lied underneath.

"Incredible."

"It's been here this whole time." Estrella says

"No freaking way." John B says

"This definitely means something." JJ mumbles

"Wow."

"Jeez."

"Dang!"

"This is incredible." John B says as each teen walks up to different areas of the room, "Yo, this is a map of the whole island."

"Yeah, John B, I think you're right because this is Rixon's right here." JJ points, "And then, there's the lighthouse."

"Guys, look, Parcel 9 and the well." Kie says

"So, if that's Parcel 9, and then if that's Rixon's, then that's gotta be the surf break at Mase." John B says as he and JJ walk up to another part of the map.

"Right. And look." JJ says holding up the picture Pope brought up to the wall, "Pope, come here. This is Denmark's handwriting for sure."

"The drawings, they match up." Pope says

"Holy shit." John B mumbles

"Denmark, you genius!" Pope smiles, "These are all his drawings. He... he painted this entire room."

"Yeah, question is why. What's he trying to tell us?" Estrella asks

"It's gotta have something to do with the key, right? Right?" JJ says

"Yeah, but what?"

"How did you know to uncover thi ?" John B asks

"I didn't." Sarah turns, "It was like this when I got home."

"What?"

"Okay, then who did it?" Kie asks

"I don't know." Sarah shrugs

"The freaks."

The group gasps as they turn towards the door. JJ with his hands up ready to defend himself, but they all calm down noticing it was only Sarah's little sister, Wheezie.

"Wheeze!" Sarah says

"What freaks are we talking about, Wheeze?" JJ asks

"Uh... that sick lady and her attack dog." Wheezie shrugs, "They... they showed up last night, and they wanted to talk to Rafe."

"Okay."

"Wait. Pale blond lady?" JJ says

"She have crutches?" Charlotte adds

"Uh-huh." Wheezie nods

"It's gotta be Limbrey." Pope mumbles

"Wh... what happened?" John B asks

"First, they searched the whole house looking for something, and then Rafe told me to go upstairs. But I didn't wanna miss out, so I listened through the grate." Wheezie says, "And they were talking about getting across the sand flamingo."

"That's code for something." JJ says

"The cross. The Cross of Santo Domingo?" Pope asks

"Yeah, that's it." Wheezie says, "Oh, and they were talking about angels. A lot of angel talk. I don't know."

"Angels?" John B says

"Guys, Denmark's famous last words. He buried the real treasure at the foot of the angel. They're looking for an angel. We have to find the angel in the room." Pope says frantically

"Start looking." JJ says

"Spread out." Kie says. The groups wastes no time in searching the walls for the angel.

"There's a church over here."

"Yeah, check the church."

"Looking for an angel."

"Could this be an angel?"

"Maybe... maybe..."

"What's... what's going on? Are you guys gonna tell me?" Wheezie tries, but the group doesn't hear as they yell different things out to each other. JJ goes quiet as he walks up to a painting of a tree.

"The lighthouse maybe?"

"Maybe it's heat-sensitive."

"There's a cemetery..."

"Yeah, because--"

"It's still there." JJ mumbles to himself, "Hey, yo! Hey, guys, I think I found something. Come here." The teens rush over toward him. Pope and Estrella making it to him first, "This humongous tree is still on Goat Island. You know what it's called?"

"Angel Oak." Pope says

"Look there. There's the keyhole."

"Wait." Estrella says

"That means the cross is buried at the foot of the angel. Wow, that must be where he put it." Pope says, "That must be where they are right now! We have to go!"

"I think I'm Sherlock Holmes, all right?" JJ says as the others start rushing out, "You're welcome by the way."

"Yeah. Hurry up, Sherlock." Estrella chuckles as she starts pushing him toward the door.
