"Okay, guys, I think this is El Tesoro." Kie says, "The trailhead to the mountain is supposed to start here."

JJ looks behind them and sits up, "Oh shit. That's one of Singh's guys. What are we gonna do?" He asks turning to Pope, "We gotta get past them somehow."

The teens watch as the man reads the note they attached to the fishing line. They peaked in the window of the building they hid in as Pope threw a firework. The man jumps, "Miguel! They're shooting at us! Where are they?"

"Is he buying it?" Pope asks. Kie turns to him and nods. Pope lights another before tossing over the building at the men.

The man yelps, "Shit, we're surrounded!"

Estrella's eyes widen as he pulls out his gun, "Oh shit. Oh shit."

"Get down!" Cleo says as the drop down from the window. Seconds later, the man shoots around him. The teens cover their heads.

"Pope, return fire! Return fire!" JJ says. Pope takes the handful of fireworks and lights them before tossing them.

The men drop down, "There's too many of them!"

"Let's get out of here! Go!" The other man says

Estrella and Cleo peak over the windowsill just as the men start their boat up. JJ lights another firework, "Come on, get them."

When JJ tosses them, the men duck down again, "Go faster. Faster!"

"Bye-bye." Pope says as the men drive away. He turns to JJ with a smile.

"Think we're getting better at this." JJ says as they do their handshake

"Oh yeah."

"Hey, hey. Ain't no time for celebrating. We didn't do nothing yet." Cleo says as she passes between them

"That's fair." Estrella chuckles following her. Kie and Charlotte walk past them laughing.

JJ turns to Pope as the girls walk off, "I thought we did something."

"We did." Pope nods

"Well-done, soldier."

The teens had been walking for a while. Pope had them following what he believed could've been a trail left by Sarah and John B. As much as Estrella wanted to find and help her friends, her leg was killing her. All the walking and running had finally caught up to her and she found herself trailing far behind the others. JJ turned back and stopped while the others kept going.

"What's wrong?" He asks walking back down to her

"My leg." She groans. JJ looked down as she placed her hand on the leg Charlotte had stitched up for her a few months ago, "It hurts really bad."

"Okay, let's take a break then."

"We can't take a break." Estrella says softly looking up at him, "We have to catch up to Sarah and John B and we have no clue if there are any more of Singh's men out here."

"I'm pretty sure everybody will understand if you need to take a break right now, Star."

"No, no break. I just need a second." She says holding onto his arm

JJ looked down at her while she took a few deep breaths. He reaches up and takes his bag off, "Here."

Estrella looked up as he placed the bag over her head and fixed it on her shoulders, "What are you doing?"

"Giving you a ride." He says before turning and squatting down in front of her, "Hop on."

Estrella giggles, "You don't need to do that."

"I'm not gonna let you be in pain the entire time we're walking." He says, "Come on."

Estrella smiled before leaning down and wrapping her arms around his shoulders. JJ lifted her up with ease and adjusted her on his back, "You good?"

"Yeah." Estrella nods

"Good." He says as he starts walking, "Now, I don't have to hear you complain."

Estrella rolls her eyes immediately catching onto the joking tone in his voice, "Shut up."

Kie looks back noticing JJ carrying Estrella on his back, "God, they're taking forever."

Charlotte looks back before shrugging, "It's not like we've found anything yet."

"I'm sure Pope has." Kie says as they keep walking, "Hopefully."

"Hopefully." Charlotte chuckles. She furrows her brows as her smile falls slightly. She then clears her throat, "Um, incase something does happen, can we talk about last night?"

"What about it?"

"Like-" Charlotte stammers, "what it means? For us?"

Kie smiles, "Well, I mean, we like each other."

"Yeah."

"And we're both single."

"Right." Charlotte nods, "So, does that mean we're like, together?"

Kie giggles, "Is that what you want? Cause it's what I want."

"Yes." Charlotte says as she stops, "Yeah, that's what I want."

"Okay. It's what we both want." Kie says stepping closer to her, "So, we're together."

Kie's smile widens when Charlotte smiles. She watches her shoulders fall as she relaxes. Kie reaches up and cups her cheek before leaning in and kissing her softly. Charlotte lets out a breath through her nose as she kisses back.

Kie pulls back, but doesn't go far as she looks the blonde in her eyes. Charlotte's cheeks turn a light shade of pink causing Kie to laugh.

"Okay, enough of shoving your tongues down each other's throats." JJ says. The girls turn as he walks over with Estrella still on his back, "We've got some treasure to find."

Kie rolls her eyes, "Shut up, JJ."

"You guys can save the kissing for when we actually get out of here." JJ says, "Celebratory make out sesh."

"JJ." Estrella groans

"You're so annoying." Kie says grabbing Charlotte's hand as they all continue up the hill to catch up to Pope and Cleo.
