The Pogues had gone to sleep not long after the fire went out the night before. Each of them taking their usual place to try and get some sleep. As the sun came up, Estrella ended up tucked behind JJ who pulled his shirt over his head to cover his eyes. Charlotte and Kie laid beside each other as well as Pope and Cleo with Sarah and John B, of course, cuddled together.

Pope's eyes flutter open as he hears an engine whirring. He sits up abruptly and looks up towards the sky. He stands up wide eyed as he comes to a realization, "Plane. Guys. Guys, guys, wake up. There's a plane."

Estrella jumps awake as Pope runs to their bag and grabs a lighter. Cleo's eyes open as he runs off. Estrella sits up as Cleo stands, "Oh." She gasps, "Guys, wake the hell up."

"JJ." She says shaking him as Cleo runs off to where Pope disappeared to

JJ's eyes flutter open as he turns to Estrella. He sits up as the girl points toward the sky. He stands up slowly keeping his eyes on the plane, "Oh shit. Johnny, wake up. Get up."

Estrella watches him walk off before crawling over to Kie and Charlotte, "Kie. Charlotte. Get up."

Charlotte groans as she turns over. Kie sits up as Estrella gets up and follows JJ. Kie's eyes widen, "Char, get up! There's a plane."

Charlotte shoots up as John B begins yelling for the pilot, "Hey! Hey, we're over here! Over here! Hey! We're right here!"

Estrella's steps slow as JJ turns to her. She could tell by his expression that he wasn't as excited as the others were.

"Come on, come on, come on." John B mutters as Kie and Charlotte run to shore with the others.

"Hey!" Kie yells

"Hey!"

"Hey!"

"Over here!"

"Hey!" John B yells, "We're over here!"

Their hope begins to dwindle as the plane continues on. Charlotte's head tilts as she continues to watch the plane, "He sees us. Guys, guys, he sees us."

"He's gonna go to the pond." John B says, "Come on, come on. Come on!"

Kie and Charlotte follow John B as he runs back to their belongings. Sarah hesitates before following while Pope and Cleo come running back. JJ and Estrella stay quiet as they grab their things and follow the teens to the plane.

John B and Sarah are the first to approach the plane. Estrella stops as JJ's step slow. She watches him eye the plane before sighing, "Come on."

"Whoo!" Pope cheers

"Hey!" John B says

"We did it!" Cleo says

"Oh man." Pope sighs

"Hello, hello." John B says as the door opens and a man pokes his head out

"Hey there." He says

"Yeah!" Cleo screams

"Whoo-hoo-hoo!" Pope cheers as they all approach the plane. Estrella and JJ take their time, "Hey! We're getting out of here. We're finally getting out of here."

"Well, what do we got here?" The man says

"Uh..." John B starts, "You know, just some castaways."

"Well, I'll cross that off the grocery list." He says. JJ looks down at Estrella as the girl looks to him. Immediately catching on to her worries, "Uh, hang on. I got just the thing for y'all. Just one second."

John B looks towards Sarah and his smile slowly drops, "Hey, no. Look at this guy!"

"Two things you need on a deserted island."

"You think he works for your dad?" He says, "It's okay."

"First aid and rum!" He says before throwing the bottle of rum to them, "Incoming!"

Cleo and Sarah steps aside as it lands in the water.

"Hey, here you go." He says tossing the first aid kit to Pope, "So what's the story? You guys sank a boat?"

"Jumped off one." John B hesitates as Sarah picks the bottle up, "Her dad's."

"In-laws, man." The man sighs, "They're tough. Well, have no fear. Jimmy's here. I got you."

"Well, all hail Jimmy, guys! Let's go." Cleo smiles

"Welcome aboard the Flying Fish." Jimmy says as JJ steps behind Estrella, "I'm Jimmy Portis. I'll be your captain today. Is this all? Eight of you?"

"Uh, yeah. That too heavy?" John B asks

"Nah." Jimmy says before tilting his head, "Uh, technically maybe, but I think old Fish here'll probably be okay. We could always throw somebody overboard, right?"

John B smiles as Jimmy laughs, "Yeah..."

"See you, island!" Cleo says as they file onto the plane

"You're the dog, man." Pope says

"Pleasure to have you." Jimmy says before waving Estrella and JJ over, "Come on. Come on. Come on, it's okay."

As Jimmy holds his hand out to Estrella to help her on, she shakes her head, "I got it."

"Okay." He says as they pile in, "Yeah, just tuck on in. Let's, uh, get this shit going."

Minutes later, Jimmy starts the plane and readies it for takeoff. John B and JJ take in their surroundings before JJ turns to Jimmy, "So what were you doing all the way out here?"

"I got a little guide outfit in Saint Vincent." Jimmy says, "I was spotting fish."

"What were you spotting?"

"You know, the usual. Wahoo." Jimmy says. JJ and John B exchange looks that makes Estrella more stressed. She notices John B shake his head as Jimmy puts his headphones on, "I'd hang on to something. Gets a little spicy on takeoff."

Cleo immediately grabs onto a strap hanging from the top of the plane. Estrella grabs onto the netting behind her as Charlotte reaches above her to grab another strap above them as the plane takes off.

"..one-niner-four-six. This is tower operator on the mainland. Vector 705. Maintain altitude through K..."

JJ turns toward the teens. Each of them quickly catching the look in his eyes causing them to scoot closer. JJ then leans forward, "Wahoo don't run in September. Ever. All right? So whoever this man is, he's not a fisherman."

"Maybe the run just starts earlier out here." Pope suggests

"Are you sure about that? In the Caribbean?"

"...we'll have you heading south."

"No, I know what this is." Sarah says, "He's working for my dad, and he's probably been looking for us the entire time."

"All right, we gotta find out." JJ says before looking around the plane, "Start looking for some sort of..." He pauses, "clues."

JJ looks to John B as he notices the bag hanging on the back of the chair. JJ points behind him before scooting back. John B leans toward Jimmy, "Hey, Jimmy."

"Yeah. What's up?"

"How long you had this bird?"

"Oh, about ten years now." Jimmy says as JJ slowly reaches in his bag

"How long you been flying?"

"I've been flying all my life."

"Uh, who's that lovely lady right there?" John B asks as JJ pulls out a book

Jimmy laughs, "That right there? That's Cynthia. Yeah."

"Cynthia?"

"Yeah..."

"And what about that beautiful girl right there?" John B asks as Pope and JJ beginning digging through the book

"Huh? Oh, that? That's Stacey."

John B chuckles, "Oh! Oh, your sister?"

Estrella leans forward as JJ turns a picture towards them. Her heart dropping at the image of Ward's boat.

"No, no." Portis laughs, "No, she's just this girl I met in Saint Lucia. You ever been there?"

Sarah takes the picture from him, "The Coastal Venture. Oh my God."

"Huge marlin. You gotta go." Jimmy says as John B leans into Sarah

"This is the boat we were on. With Eberhimi and the cross." She explains

"So he was looking for us?" Charlotte says

"Exactly." JJ nods

"He's working for my dad." Sarah says as the plane begins to shake. The teens quickly grab onto something.

"Hey, y'all better hold something. We got some unexpected turbulence up here." Jimmy says as Kie looks out the window

"Guys, whatever it is, it's happening fast. Look." Kie says as they all turn to look out the window

"That looks like Barbados. I've been there with Terrance." Cleo says

"Okay, there's eight of us, one of him." JJ says, "You know my vote. We storm the cockpit."

"No, who's gonna fly the plane, dumbass?" John B says

"I've seen Pope fly simulators."

"I crop-dusted for my uncle last summer." Pope says, "This is not the same thing."

"We don't have time to pretend that's a real option." Kie says

"Do you have an idea?" JJ says

"Something safe." Kie says as Estrella leans back against the plane with her eyes closed

"Why don't we just wait until the plane lands somewhere safe, and then we sneak out." Pope says, "And if somebody comes to mess with us, we mad-dog them."

"Okay."

"Okay." Cleo nods

"I like the mad-dogging part." JJ says

"Just put that back." Kie says handing the book back to him, "Put it back. Be cool."

"Hey, Jimmy. Is that Burning Man?" John B asks distracting him, "Right there?"

"Yeah! That's Burning Man, all right. That was my first time." Jimmy says as JJ starts putting the book back

"How many times you been to Burning Man?"

"I started going when I was 18." He says, "GT's, baby! GT's!"

"Yeah, I've heard a lot about it. I've never been west." John B says as Jimmy turns around feeling his bag move

"Hey, man! What the hell are you doing?" He says pushing JJ back. The plane jerks as Jimmy loses focus, "That's mine!"

"Who are you really?" JJ asks

"Fly the plane!" Sarah yells

"It's my book. Give it back." Jimmy yells

"Please fly the plane. Please fly the plane." Pope calls out

Jimmy grunts as he turns back in his seat. He tries gaining control, but struggles, "Come on. Come on, Fish. Come on, Fish. Come on, Fish. Come on, Fish. Come on. Come on, Fish."

Estrella grunts as she falls into Kie. JJ looks toward Jimmy frantic, "Whoa, whoa, whoa."

"Beneath!" Kie yells

Everyone falls forward as the plane crashes into the water. Estrella can hear different alarms and buzzers as they all jerk around. Everyone flies to the front of the plane as it finally stops. They begin coughing as the plane quickly fills with water.

"Guys. Guys." Kie calls out

"Is everybody good?" John B asks

"JJ! Wake up, man. We gotta get out." Pope says hitting JJ's shoulder causing the boy's eyes to open. He grabs JJ's arm and pulls him up, "We gotta get out of here."

John B climbs over and kicks the door open before they all begin to climb out. JJ groans, "We gotta get out before it sinks."

John B stops, "Oh no. They don't look friendly."

"No, they look very unfriendly." Pope says

"We gotta go. Come on."

"We gotta go."

"Jump." JJ says as Cleo and Sarah climb out first

"Come on, hurry." John B says holding the door open

"We gotta get out."

"We gotta go now, come on."

"Go, Pope." John B says as he climbs out. JJ grunts as he climbs out. Estrella grunts as she climbs behind Kie before she notices the girl stop, "Kie, let's go."

"I'm coming. Go!" She says before John B jumps out

"Kie, get out before it sinks!" JJ yells, "Come on."

"Go!" Cleo yells

Estrella notices Kie looking around the plane, "What? What's wrong?"

"They're headed this way." Pope yells

"Hurry." JJ says

"Hang on!" Kie says going to the front of the plane

"No, no, no, Kie! Come on!" John B says

"Come over here. Get to the pier." The police call out

"Kiara, come on. You gotta hurry." Sarah says as Estrella approaches the door, "Now go!"

Kie turns to Estrella, "Estrella."

"Kie, come on."

"Help. Please." She says before turning back to Jimmy, "Portis."

Estrella debates with herself before swimming back to Kie, "Come on."

"Estrella!" Charlotte calls out as they look back and forth between the plane and the police that were quickly approaching.

"Portis, wake up. Wake up!" Kie yells while shaking him. Estrella climbs through the window of the plane before turning back and pulling Jimmy out while Kie pushes his legs out. The other teens begin swimming to a hiding spot as Kie climbs out and helps Estrella hold up Jimmy.

"Come on, guys, hurry up. Hurry up." JJ pants

"We got you." Kie says as they begin to swim him to shore

JJ turns as they make it behind a rock. He begins looking around them before his eyes widen, "Wait, where's Estrella? You guys, where's Estrella?"

"They went the other way." Sarah says

The girls grunt as they finally get Jimmy to shore. A man runs over, "Take him."

Estrella coughs as she sits on her hands and knees.

"Thank you." Jimmy mutters

Estrella looks up as Kie's face hardens, "You lied to us. Who are you?"

Jimmy turns and groans, "Oh God. You should get out of here."

Estrella looks back into the water, "Where did they go?"

"Shit." Kie says before the two get up and run off

"Oh my God. Oh my God." John B says as they watch the teens run from the police

"Kie. Kie. Kie. Kie." Estrella says grabbing her arm. Kie looks up finally noticing the other police coming from the other side. The two look around before they crawl under a boat propped up on the sand.

The girls pant heavily as the policemen start searching the area. Estrella hears footsteps approach them before seeing a man looking around the boat. He steps closer finally noticing the girls and Kie is quick to reach out and punch him sending him back onto he sand.

He groans as he sits up, "She's over here!"

Estrella and Kie start to crawl out and try to run away, but two men grab ahold of them.

"Get off!" Estrella yells struggling against him

"Get a hold of her."

"Let me go!" Kie grunts as they start to pull them toward the car

"Damn it! What are we..." JJ pants, "what are we gonna do? Go after them, right?"

"What... what can we do?" John B says

"Where are they taking them?" Sarah says as JJ looks above them

"They're all right there." He says

"They're looking this way. We gotta go." Charlotte says

"We gotta go, JJ." John B says as they start to swim away. JJ keeps his eyes on the car the girls were taken to.

"JJ, come on. We can't save them if we get caught."

"That's it." JJ says between gritted teeth before following them

"We lost the others. We'll keep searching."

Kie breathes shakily as Jimmy approached them, "We saved your life."

"I know. I know. I'm sorry. I'm gonna try to help you, okay? I swear, I didn't know it was gonna be like this. Look, if you don't fight, if you just do what they say, these guys prob... probably won't hurt you."

"What did Ward promise you?" Estrella asks

"Who?" Jimmy frowns. Kie turns to Estrella as her brows furrow, "Hey, just take my advice,
do what they say. Good luck."

Jimmy then walks off without another word. Estrella turns to Kie who lets out a shaky sigh. They look up as a policeman climbs into the trunk with them.

"All right, let's go." He says to the others as they start the car

Estrella reaches over and grabs onto Kie's hand as the car begins to drive off.
