Estrella stepped out with the girls with a smile on her face. Sarah was in a white dress with the front pieces of her hair pulled back. As soon as John B saw her, a smile graced his features. As they approached, JJ continued on with their previous conversation, "Let's make this quick. All right? Gotta keep my head down."

"Hey. We're gonna get out of your hair, actually." John B says catching his attention, "Give you guys some space."

"Yeah." Sarah says taking his hand

JJ frowned as Estrella stood beside him, "What?"

"Yeah. You know, it's your dad. And... and it's your mom's grave." Sarah nods, "You should do this with him."

"So y'all are just bailing right now?"

"No.

"Not bailing. We're just multitasking." John B clarifies leading Sarah away, "Running some errands. We'll be back. We have something to do."

"An errand, right now? Are you kidding me? We could save Poguelandia if we could just read-"

"Jay, don't worry about it." Estrella says, "You're gonna go with your dad. John B and Sarah
are gonna run their errand. And we're gonna stay here, get us packed up so we can get out of here."

"Just not the right time to be splitting up." JJ grumbles

"JJ!" Groff calls out

"Ugh, I'm gonna go start packing up. Cannot stand to be around him right now." Kie says pulling Charlotte along

Estrella steps closer to JJ, "Jay, I know he's your dad. Just be careful."

"If he tries anything, I'll just steal the little lens thing for myself." He nods

"Remember, you're a wanted man. Keep your head down."

"Always." He says. His flicker down to her necklace. The ring he gave her sitting below her collarbone. He then looks over to Groff, "Let's do it."

"You got it." He says as JJ walks over to the drivers side of the Twinkie. Groff smiles to Estrella, "Morning."

Estrella gives a quick smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. He nods and sits in the passenger. Estrella backs up as JJ puts the Twinkie in reverse before driving off. Estrella lets out a deep sigh as she looks around at the life they'd built together. Her heart sinking a little at the idea of losing it.

Charlotte and Kie moved gracefully around one another as they packed up different products around the house while Estrella handled the shop. Some things that they could maybe use and others things that they didn't want left while they were gone.

Charlotte looks over at Kie, "What are the odds that by the time we get back, these assholes have taken everything?"

"It's.. highly likely." Kie says, "Especially since it's Topper."

"Do you think there's any shot that we actually win this?"

Kie sighs as she looks over, "Whatever shot we had probably went out the window when Luke showed back up."

Charlotte purses her lips and nods, "Got it."

"Let's just hope that Groff is actually a good guy like he claims and we can find the Blue Crown and save this place."

Estrella hummed along to her music playing quietly from her phone. She packed another bag before turning around to the other counter. As she bent down to grab another bag, she looked up and paused. Her eyes landed on the Twinkie parked outside out of the house. She frowned realizing JJ hadn't called her or walked in. She stepped around and walked outside, "JJ?"

The wind chimes clinked as she approached the Twinkie. She looked around, "Jay?"

As she got closer, Groff stepped off the porch, "Oh, hi, Estrella."

"Hi." She says skeptically

He walked over with the tube in his hand, "Uh, I just came to grab the scroll to make sure it's not just the artifact from the mausoleum."

"Cool. Uh... Where's JJ?"

"Oh, he stayed behind at the family plot." He explains, "He sent me to retrieve this. I thought I'd give him some time alone, you know?"

Estrella frowns as a tense silence falls over them, "I just don't think he'd do that."

"Oh, but he did. That's the thing."

As he stepped closer, Estrella took a step back, "So then you won't mind if I call him."

"Yeah, yeah, you should... you should call him. He'll confirm." He nods, "Go ahead. He'll confirm."

Estrella takes her phone out beginning to pull up JJ's contact. As soon as her attention is fully on her phone, Groff shoves her back into the window of the Twinkie. A groan escapes her lips before she falls to the ground unconscious.

Groff looks down at her before his head snaps over. Laughter could be heard from the kitchen of the house. He quickly picked Estrella up and carried her toward the shop. He makes quick, but quiet steps over to the cooler. He opened it before placing her inside.

"So sorry." He chuckles before shutting it. He then takes a screwdriver and shoves it into the latch to keep it closed.

"Hey, Kie!"

Kie steps out of the house with Charlotte trailing behind her. Her eyes widening, "Pope? What the hell?"

"Don't ask. It's a lot." He breathes, "Where's Estrella?"

Kie looks over toward the shop. Her brows furrowing, "She should be in the shop."

"And JJ?" Sarah asks

"He hasn't come back yet." Charlotte says

"You sure she's not in the house?" John B asks

"No, we've been in there the whole time." Kie says before Pope starts to walk over to the shop

"Estrella?" He calls out. He then hears banging.

"Pope! Pope, help. Please! Guys, is that you?"

"You hear that?" Pope asks as his steps quicken. The others follow him over.

"Guys, I'm in here!"

"Estrella."

"Pope!" She screams banging on the cooler again, "I'm in here!"

"Holy shit, that's Estrella." John B says as he and Pope rush over

"In the cooler?" Sarah says

"Estrella, hold on, we're getting you out." John B says as Pope yanks the screwdriver out and pushes it open.

Estrella gasps as Pope and John B pull her up. Pope helps her out of the cooler as she pants, "Oh my God."

"How'd you get there?" Sarah asks

"Are you okay? What's going on? What happened?" Pope asks

"Groff happened. He came here, and he took the scroll. And... Oh my God." She rambles before wincing and grabbing the back of her head, "Wait, I dropped my phone. I dropped my phone. I think he's still with JJ."

"What?" Kie asks as Estrella runs out of the shop

"Where's my phone?" She says again running toward the house, "Where is it? Where is it?"

"Where's your phone?" Charlotte asks as they run after her

"I don't know. Over here somewhere." She says looking around the grass, "Oh my God!"

"Are you thinking...?" Sarah starts as Estrella picks up her phone and immediately calls JJ

She brings it up to her ear and after it rings for a few seconds, it goes to voicemail, "He's not answering. JJ, can you call me back? Please?"

"Did you check Find My Friends?" Pope asks

Estrella nods as she pulls up the app, "Yes. I made him share his location last time he freaking disappeared. He's on the water."

"What?" Sarah says

"What?" Cleo echoes

Estrella's eyes widen, "He's leaving the island."

"Shit, man."

Soon after, the teens were in their boat and on the water. John B followed every direction Estrella gave him. Pope took the high ground to keep lookout for him.

"Keep going!" She says looking back and forth from her phone to the water, "I lost signal, but it was somewhere out here."

Sarah brings the binoculars up to her eyes as Estrella looks around them, "Where is he? Where are you?"

"Hey! Over here! Hey!"

Estrella jumps up and looks out toward the voice. Her heart racing, "I see him! There he is! He's out there. Go!"

"JJ!"

"Jay!"

"Hey!"

"Hold on!" Pope says as Cleo waves her arms around to him

"We're coming!" Estrella says as John B speeds up. As soon as they approach, Pope jumps down.

"Pull him in. Pull him in." John B says

"Hold on." Pope says stepping in front of Estrella. He bends down and pulls JJ into the boat with a grunt.

"You've got him. Sit him down. Put him down." Kie says

Estrella kneels in front of him as soon as he's sat, "Are you okay?"

"Oh my God." He groans

"Are you okay?" She says as he coughs, "What happened?"

She looks down at his side. His hand holding it loosely with blood soaking his shirt. She brings her hand up and places it on top of his adding pressure. His eyes squeeze shut in pain, "I'm sorry. You're okay. It's okay, just breathe. We're gonna get you back. What happened?"

JJ groans before he lets out a deep sigh, "Groff."

Estrella nods as her eyes fill with tears. JJ looks back at her with an exhausted stare, "I'm sorry, Jay. I'm sorry."

His chest rises and falls with heavy breaths. She can't help the tears that escape her eyes as her head falls to his chest.

Later, the teens made it back to Poguelandia. Estrella helped JJ clean his wound and now, he was wrapping it. The initial shock had left him and in its place was anger. Estrella could see it rolling off of him in waves. He grunts as he brings the bandage over his side. He secures it before sitting up, "You know what's the funniest part? Is that I actually thought he was coming back for me. But no, he just wanted to get rid of me." He sighs heavily as he looks over at Pope, "And now Pope's a fugitive. Welcome to the club, bro. And we have nothing now."

He stands up abruptly, "We lost everything, and it's all my fault."

Estrella follows him, "It's not your fault."

"Yeah, it is."

"No, it's not." Estrella says standing in front of him stopping him from storming off, "Look at me." JJ looks up at her reluctantly, "You're not wrong for putting your trust in someone. Especially not your family."

"That's why it's my fault." He says, "He's not my family, Estrella. I barely know him and for whatever reason I thought I could trust him. I thought I could save us."

Before Estrella could say anything else, JJ brushes past her. She stared ahead of her in silence because she knew he was more upset that he let his guard down than angry at her. JJ glanced over at her. His eyes lingering on her back before she walked back over toward Pope and Cleo.
