Prologue

On the thirty first of October, 1989; 43 women around the world gave birth.

This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began.

Eccentric billionaire and adventurer, Reginald Hargreeves set out to collect as many of these children as he could.

He got seven of them.

Many of the remaining 36 children were left for death to retrieve, their breaths whisked away before they could even utter their first word.

Then some survived, raised in varying conditions; a handful more unfortunate than others.

This particular female was one of the unfortunate.

She didn't survive at first, but...

Death had a rather difficult time keeping the young girl...dead.

Years passed without much of a hassle, and you'll see that by the time the seven adopted miracles turned the age of six; Reginald acquired an eighth mysterious child that had been thriving beneath his pointed nose.
