ACE (Jeff X Reader) ~The Death Card
( •ㅅ• )
'Ba-Bum.. Ba-Bum.. Ba-Bum..'
The girl began to feel herself sweat, and her heartbeat began to race as she watched Jeff disappear around the corner. As she made herself sure that Jeff had gone, she quietly slipped out of her hiding spot, underneath the bed and looked around.
Letting out a breath of relief, she turned around and her gaze fell towards an ace card, the exact same one Jeff had showed to her. Narrowing her eyes, the girl took a step forward to reach out towards the card, but no more than one step, as she felt herself being pulled back as one hand covered her screams and another hand clutched onto her waist, pulling her back.
With a frightened thought that it might be Jeff, the girl squeezed her eyes shut as she staggered back. The unidentified figure still didn't let go of her until the girl slowly opened her eyes. Suddenly she felt the figure slowly slide his head down towards her neck as it let out a low sigh.
"So this is where you've been all this time?"
The girl froze, her eyes slowly widening. It really was Jeff. The girl was still frozen in shock, unable to move until Jeff finally turned her around, so she was face to face with him. The girl's mouth slowly widened, her eyes spotting the red color of blood splattered on Jeff's white hoodie, staining it.
"It's not my blood," he stated plainly. In a more curious tone, he added, "Why, you worried about me?"
The girl looked away, her face beginning to heat up. "No..." She lied.
Suddenly, the girl felt Jeff's hand clutching her throat, and in another second, her back was faced to the wall as Jeff held her by the neck. The girl tried gasping for air, but Jeff's grip was too hard, that she could feel her skin beginning to get scratched. She clawed at his hand, begging to be free, but he didn't let go.
Jeff got close near to her painful eyes as he tilted his head from side to side, slowly loosening his grip to let the girl breathe. The girl took her chance. She took a deep breath in to regulate her breathing back to normal. Jeff then slammed his hand against the wall, beside the girl's head as he cornered her into the wall, making the girl wince slightly at the suddden loud sound.
"Don't lie to me," he hissed. "I don't like liars."
With his eyes narrowed, he reluctantly slided his hand down the wall and into his back pocket, pulling out the fresh bloody knife, as he saw the frightened eye that belonged to the girl's in the reflection of the blade as her eyes widened at the sight. Jeff smirked at her, he loved the sight of her fear, her eyes widening, and her heart racing.
Without care, he fiddled the knife with his fingers, letting drops of blood spill over the floor and some on the girl. The girl flinched when some of the drops splattered on her as she trembled in fear. Jeff leaned close to her shaking head. "Had enough yet?" He asked.
The girl shook her trembling head, making Jeff narrow his eyes even further as he stopped fiddling with the knife. He clutched the knife as he turned it backwards, so that the handle was pointing upwards. He then used it to lift the girl's chin up, forcing her to look at him. He grinned further at her scared eyes.
He had so much pleasure from the fear she was giving him. He just wanted to break her, like she broke him, and throw her away, just like she did to him.
"Tell me," he continued. "What were you doing inside that room?" He asked the girl. He could see their was uncertainty glimmering in the girl's eyes. "Didn't I tell you not to go there?" He said, his tone becoming more hard. He smirked a bit, before moving his fingers across the smooth surface of the girl's cheek, smoothing her hair behind her ear as he took the knife and placed the blade near the girl's cheek.
He could feel the girl's supressed shiver as the cold metal touched her skin. He waited for the girl's answer for a few moments, but she did not reply, except for shake in fear. Losing his patience, he slowly pressed the blade against the girl's cheek, making a cut on her cheek, the blood slowly dripping down from her cheek as it slowly slid down. The girl kept grimacing, though she showed signs of fear.
Jeff was surprised. He expected a wince or maybe a sharp exclaim or rebuke from the girl, but she kept staring at him with defiant eyes. For a moment, he stared back at the girl's eyes before breaking out of his gaze. Growling deep inside his throat, he knew this wasn't just the only way to get an answer out of the girl. Swiftly, he grabbed the knife towards the blade so the handle was facing upwards again before he slammed it against the girl's neck, making her cough and choke, grunting in pain.
He smirked again, as he pressed it harder, her voicebox unable to get any air or voice out of her throat. Jeff glanced back at the girl his eyes showing the joy of the girl's pain. "Tell me." He hissed. The girl still didn't answer, though her eyes were glancing at Jeff's eyes with desperate pain, the same pair of eyes Jeff found familiar with.
'I'm sorry Liu.. But the liar has to die..'
Seeing the girl not giving an answer to him, he let out a low sigh, giving up. He then slowly lifted the knife and kept it away in his back pocket, seeing the girl begin to slowly stop shaking. He let go of his grip, and placed one on his waist, another holding the knife.
He let out a playful smirk at the girl. "Come outside with me." He said.
The girl's eyes were shining with confusion. "Why?" Her voice still trembling.
He shrugged and turned around, already walking away as he called behind him to the girl. "I'm teaching you how to be like me."
