Autumn's eyes widened and quickly pushed him off of her, She growled as she quickly wiped off his saliva on her next. Gene just laughed at her.

❝You're sick!❞ Autumn glared at him, Gene just smirked and crossed her arms shrugging.

❝Can't help it❞ Gene chuckled.

❝So, do we have a deal?❞ Gene raised an eyebrow at her and offered his hand to shake.

❝Whatever. Fine.❞ Autumn rolled her eyes and shook his hand sealing the deal.

❝Now, we have to start acting now. My parents has connections here in school. If they found out we're enemies and we're not together, I'm dead.❞ Autumn sighed and rubbed her temples.

❝Whatever. Fine. Just follow my lead❞ Gene grabbed her hand and intertwined them together making Autumn's face heat up and glow a bright red, her eyes widened at his actions and quickly snatched it back.

❝What the-!? What are you doing?❞ She stared at him in shock. Gene raised and eyebrow at her and crossed his arms.

❝You want them to believe we're together, right? Then we should act like it.❞ Gene rolled his eyes at her and grabbed her hand and intertwining them once again. Autumn growled lowly and grumbled at him.

My friends will kill me..

She thought in her head as she let herself get dragged by Gene back to school, students gasped at then and stared at their hands locked into each other. Autumn felt a tug from Gene, she looked up to him.

❝What?❞ She said and gave him an annoyed look, Gene smirked at her. He retracted his hand from hers and wrapped his arm around her shoulders making her stiffen up. They ignored the loud murmurs from students around them as they walked.

❝By the way, we're cutting school today.❞ Gene whispered to her, Autumn rolled her eyes and nodded. She was already used in cutting school so it wasn't a problem for her. The twins and Sky were at their lockers talking.

❝Where is she? She was supposed to be he-❞ Sky stopped and dropped her books in shock, her eyes widened when she saw her best friend with Gene, he had his arm wrapped around her like he was claiming her as his. Michael jumped when she dropped her books.

❝What the heck, Sky?❞ Michael growled at her lightly and begun kneel down to pick up her books but stopped when Sky grabbed his shoulder making him freeze from his spot.

❝What are you-❞

❝A-Autumn❞ Sky pointed at their friend with Gene with shaking hands, Michael followed where she was pointing and gasped, his eyes widened in horror.

❝Guys, have you seen-❞ Milo stopped when he saw Gene with his arms wrapped around his love interest, his heart seemed to drop and break into a million pieces. He clenched his fist and greeted his teeth as he walked over to them angrily. Autumn turned around and saw Milo fuming, her eyes widened when Milo swung his fist to Gene. Gene fell back to the floor and held on to his nose.

❝Milo!❞ Michael quickly ran to him and dragged him a few meters away from them.

❝Let me go, Michael!❞ Milo thrashed around, Michael held on tightly on his shoulder trying his best to restrain him from attacking Gene again. Gene just chuckled and wiped off the blood from his nose standing up again. Students gathered around them watching the commotion.

❝Milo, stop!❞ Autumn shouted, Michael, Milo, and Sky stopped and stared at her in shock.

❝A-Autumn?❞ Milo stared at her worriedly. Autumn sighed and closed her eyes already regretting what she was about to say.

❝He's my boyfriend..❞ Everyone around them gasped at what she said. Her friends stared at her confused and shocked,

❝Y-You're joking.. Right?❞ Sky nervously laughed.

I wish I was..

Autumn thought to herself as she shook her head to her and helped Gene up to his feet and intertwined their hands together. Gene felt his cheeks heat up but covered it with a smirk. Milo felt his heart break as he stared at their hands, he growled at them and shrugged off Michael's hands off his shoulders harshly before pushing people away from his path and running off. Sky worriedly followed Milo as Michael stayed staring at the two.

❝You've got some explaining to do.❞ Michael glared at Autumn before rushing off to follow his twin. Autumn felt tears form in her eyes as she watched her friends walk away. Suddenly the school bell rang making the students around them rush to their home room leaving Gene and Autumn alone. When she made sure the coast is clear she quickly snatched her hand away from Gene.

❝Great. Now my friends are mad at me. Happy?❞ Autumn glared at him, Gene just chuckled and shrugged.

❝Meh. I don't really care. Come on, let's go talk to little kitty❞ Gene said.

❝Who and what?❞ Autumn raised an eyebrow at him

❝The girl I was talking with a while ago. Aph-moo? Aph-meow?❞ Gene said confused on how to pronounce her name.

❝It's Aph-mau.❞ Autumn rolled her eyes at him, Gene just shrugged ignoring what she said and grabbed Autumn's wrist to head to the lockers where she's waiting.

Aphmau was pacing back and forth grumbling to herself, when she noticed someone was approaching her she looked up. Her eyes widened when she saw Gene and Autumn together.

❝Why is she here?❞ Aphmau growled at Gene.

❝None of your business, kitty❞ Gene rolled his eyes at her, Autumn just raised and eyebrow at her. She's taller than her so it made Aphmau feel inferior.

❝Whatever. I'm here, now what did you want to show me?❞ Aphmau puffed out her cheeks at him angrily. Autumn raised an eyebrow at her and chuckled.

❝Aye, calm down. What's the rush? We got sone time to just get to know each other and talk❞ Gene smirked at her.

❝Pfft! Unlike you, I actually care about my education. ❞ She scoffed at him making Autumn chuckled at her sassyness.

❝Oh I care about my education, they just don't teach what I wanna learn. Now let me- Hm?❞ Gene stopped when he saw someone walking over to them.

❝You, come to start something?❞ Gene's voice turned darker as he glared at Aaron. Autumn stared at him, she doesn't recall where she saw him before but she knew He was in one of her classes.

❝I don't start fights..❞ Aaron growled at him before turning to Autumn.

❝I see you got yourself a girlfriend.❞

Autumn raised an eyebrow at him and smirked.

❝Aaron Lycan. Right?❞ She asked, Aaron just ignored her making her scoff.

❝Rude..❞ She whispered.

❝Why don't you just keep walking?❞ Gene glared at him.

❝Heh, you should consider doing the same.❞

❝Walking was so two minutes ago for me.❞ Gene chuckled.

❝So is that stupid haircut❞ Aaron argued. Autumn held back her chuckle while biting her lip, Gene turned to her and glared at her as she quickly put on a serious face and look away.

❝Back off or I'll make you regret saying that.❞ Gene growled at him.

❝Why don't you run you dumb potato?❞ Aaron whisper-yelled to Aphmau.

❝Excuse me!?❞ Aphmau exclained in disbelief

❝Can't you see I'm trying to help!?❞ Aaron growled at her. Autumn stared amused at them arguing.

❝I don't need help from someone like you!❞ She shouted at him.

❝From the looks of it you have no idea what you're getting into.❞

❝Maybe I know exactly what I'm getting into!❞

❝Now you're just being stubborn❞ Aarob growled at him, Autumn rolled her eyes at them.

❝Are you sure you want to blackmail her?❞ Autumn whispered to Gene.

❝Yeah. She seems interesting...❞ Gene shrugged.

❝Heh, That coming from the guy who doesn't even call me by my real name, do you even know my name!?❞

❝Why does that even matter now?❞ Aaron scoffed at her.

❝I DON'T APPRECIATE BEING CALLED A POTATO!❞

❝THEN STOP ACTING LIKE ONE! YOU DON'T EVEN WANNA HANGOUT WITH PEOPLE LIKE THEM.❞ Aaron glared at the two making them chuckle.

❝Maybe that's exactly what I want so why don't you leave us alone so I can talk to the guy who actually talks to me!❞

❝Fine, do what you want.❞ Aaron scoffed at her before glaring at the two one last time before walking away. Autumn clapped slowly at Aphmau quite impressed.

❝Wow, you stood up to the notorious delinquent.❞ Autumn smirked at her.

❝Heh, I had no idea you could get so feisty! This is going to be fun.❞ Gene said.

❝JUST SHUT UP AND TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT!❞ Aphmau shouted at him.

❝I wanna show you this.❞ Gene pulled out his phone and showed her the picture of her and Garroth kissing at the backyard.

❝That... Where did you get that!?❞ Aphmau's eyes widened as she stared at the picture.

❝Man.. Garroth is like his Best friend, Sasha told me she overheard Laurance telling Garroth how much he liked you too. Such a shame Garroth did this to him. I just wanted to show you this before I showed Laurance.❞ Gene shook his head disappointingly.

❝What!? No!❞ Aphmau panicked.

❝Hm? Well, let's make a deal then! I won't show this to Laurance as long you don't tell amyone about this! And... You become my pawn❞ Gene grinned at her.

❝I-❞ Aphmau was about to speak when suddenly the late bell rang.

❝Huh, that's the late bell. Tell ya what, we'll finish this conversation later, meet me and my gang at lunch outside❞ Gene said and grabbed Autumn's wrist while walking backwards.

❝Outside? B-But we're not allowed to-❞

❝I'll be waiting!❞ Gene shouted back to her and began walking outside the school, when the coast was clear Autumn quickly snatched her wrist away from his grip.

❝What exactly are you planning with her?❞ She asked while grabbing a gum from her pocket and popping it into her mouth.

❝It's really none of your business, girlfriend❞ He emphasized the last word. Autumn glared at him and blew her gum before popping it.

❝As your girlfriend  I have the right to know anything about this plan of yours❞ She scoffed at him.

❝You don't have to know everything❞

❝Whatever❞ Autumn waved him off causing him to chuckle. Autumn began walking down the stairs leaving the school while Gene stared at her confused.

❝Where do you think you're going?❞ Gene called out.

❝I'm getting a milkshake. I'm thirsty❞ Autumn said without turning around.

❝You're not supposed to leave my side!❞

❝Then come with me, I don't really care I just need my milkshake right now.❞ Autumn growled at him and folded her arms at him. Gene groaned and followed her anyway.

❝What a good boyfriend ❞ Autumn snickered and teasingly pinched his cheek, Gene felt blood run up his cheeks so she quickly swatted her hand away from him.

❝Whatever. Let's just go.❞ Gene put his hands on his pockets and looked away. The two headed to the local diner and ordered some snacks.

❝We need to head back to school before lunch, Kitty will be waiting.❞ Gene said and was about to leave the diner but Autumn grabbed his shoulder.

❝No no, we still have...❞ Autumn checked her wristwatch before looking back to Gene.

❝... 3 hours before lunch. Let's eat here first and get to know each other more.❞ Autumn then walked to an empty booth and placed her paperbag down on the table.

❝I'm not eating with you, I-❞ Gene stopped when Autumn pulled her phone out and teasingly showed him the vid. Gene growled and went up to her booth and placed down his paperbag of snack as he sat across her. Autumn smiled in victory and hid her phone back into her pocket and started grabbing her food from her paperbag.

❝Now.. Tell me about yourself❞ Autumn stared at him while eating.

❝Don't you already know me well enough?❞ Gene scoffed at her as he started eating also.

❝Well, all I know about you is you're a dick❞ Autumn smirked at him

❝I'm more than that you-❞

❝Then tell me about yourself then❞ Autumn said already getting impatient with his attitude.

❝I'm Gene, leader of the Shadow Knights, big brother of my Casanova brother, I'm smart, generous, hardworking, and of course, handsome❞ Gene smirked at her proudly and slowly bit his lip.

❝You forgot to add something.❞

❝What?❞ Gene raised an eyebrow at her.

❝Conceited.❞ Gene choked on his food as he glared at her. Autumn just smiled at him innocently while drinking on her milkshake. Autumn felt eyes watching her so she slowly looked around until she spotted men wearing tuxs, her eyes widened when she recognized a pin on their suits. It was her grandfather's mafia clan logo. Slowly she placed her hands towards Gene. He looked at her hand confused.

❝What are you-❞

❝Hold my hand and look at me sweetly❞

❝Wha-❞

❝Hold my hand and look at me sweetly. ❞ Autumn forced a grin at him and nodded her head towards the men watching them. Gene stared at the men before getting the message, he grabbed her hand and slowly brought it to his lips. He planted a soft kiss on it before intertwining his fingers on hers. Gene softly smiled at her making her face flush red. One of the men stared at them observing before speaking through his microphone on his ear and walking away.

Autumn looked back at them walking away before sighing in relief, she quickly snatched her hand away and leaned back on her seat.

❝Can't believe they would do this to me..❞ Autumn rubbed her face stressfully, Gene stared at her as he pressed her lips in a thin line, he suddenly felt bad for her. Autumn looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.

❝What?❞ Autumn scoffed at him. Gene raised both of his hands up surrendering before looking away.

What was that about..?

Gene thought to his self.
