❝Autumn Sinclair! Wake your ass up already!❞ Her mother shouted from the other side of the door, Autumn groaned and buried her face deeper into her pillow. She had a really hard time sleeping last night. Slowly, she reached out for her phone on the bed side table to check the time.

7:15

She dropped her phone on her pillow while she stretched out her arms, after hearing a satisfying pops she sat up and threw her legs to the side of the bed. She went inside her bathroom to get ready. It's the first day of her senior year. After showering, she wore her uniform and brushed her long platinum blonde hair and wore a black head band.

She gathered all the things she needed inside her bag before leaving her room. She walked down on their marble stairs yawning while scrolling down to her phone.

❝Took you long enough❞ Her mother chuckled at her while she cooked another batch of fluffy pancakes for her. Autumn plopped down to the chair while placing her bag next to her. Her mother placed a plate of pancakes with different types of berries infront of her.

❝Thanks mom, where's dad?❞ She asked her while pouring some syrup on her pancake.

❝He left early because he was having trouble with an employee of his❞ Her mother said before taking the seat infront of her and started eating while reading the news on her phone. Autumn simply nodded as she finished down her breakfast, she quickly checked her phone for the time before grabbing her bag and giving her mother a kiss on the cheek.

❝Bye Mom! Love you!❞ She called out to him and quickly ran out of the door phone on hand. She opened her messaging app and quickly texted her friend, Katelyn the captain of the volleyball team and her group chat with her friends telling them she's on the way to school.

She typed in and sending it while walking, she grabbed her earphones and plugged it in quickly choosing a song to vibe with, later on her phone dinged meaning Katelyn replied back.

Katelyn:

Autumn sent her a kissy face before shoving her phone into her pockets. Soon, she can see her school by the distance.

❝Hey Autumn!❞ A male voice called out to her, she removed one of her earphones and looked around for the voice, she saw Jeffory, also her friend, by the distance waving at her. She smiled and waved back before pulling her earphones off stuffing it back to her bag. Jeffory quickly ran up to her.

❝Hey Jeffory.❞ She gave him a small smile, the two started talking about their summer break on the way to school. When they arrived, Jeffory said goodbye and left to go to his friends. The school doors were still closed so she decided to wait by the fountain.

❝Omg! Autumn~!❞ A high pitched voice called out to her, she groaned and she knew who it was. She suddenly felt a big weight almost plummeting her down.

❝I miss you, miss you, miss you so much!❞ Her friend, Skylar or Sky for short squeeled at her as she hugged her tightly. Autumn sighed and gently pat the dark blue haired girl.

❝Sky! Autumn!❞ Autumn and Sky turned around and saw the redhead twins, Milo and Michael. Michael ran up to them quickly engulfing them with a big hug.

❝I can't believe the group is now back together!" Sky squeeled as she continued rambling about her summer. The group started to talk about their summer break ignoring the students gossiping around them.

Oh great.. The Vultures are back..

Why? What's wrong with them?

You mean you don't know them? Their group is the worst next to the Shadow Knights.

Skylar seems so nice..

Yeah, but the others aren't..

Autumn looks like a kind one too

She's not! Her grandfather is the leader of a mafia group! Last year she managed to expell a student for spreading rumors about her!

Well at least she got what she deserved...

You're so dense sometimes..

Autumn smirked when she heard them talking about her, she slowly turned to the two who were gossiping about her giving them a glare. Soon, the school bell rang and the school staffs opened the door. Students started to file in. The group walked in together with Sky still rambling.

❝Okay okay, Sky! Girl, you're rambling again❞ Michael giggled at at her, Sky blushed a bright red and quickly apoligized while fidgeting. Autumn laughed at her and pinched her cheeks cheering her up. Suddenly, a freshman girl bumped into Milo making him growl and glare at her.

❝I-I'm s-so sorry!❞ A raven haired girl with bright orange eyes and tanned skin stuttered as she cowered in fear. Autumn just raised an eyebrow at her and signalled Milo to leave the freshman alone.

❝It's fine. You should run along now.❞ She shooed her away, the short girl blushed a bright red before speaking again

❝I-I'm actually new here.. I-I was thinking if I-I should maybe j-join you guys..❞ The girl said shyly making Milo laugh at her.

❝Oh sweetie.. We don't want you to be seen around us.. Besides, you're too innocent to join.❞ Michael faked pouted to her while he bent down to her height. The girl quickly muttered an apology before sprinting off.

❝Aww! Why wouldn't you guys let her join? She seems nice!❞ Sky pouted at them.

❝She looks weak.. And Naive..❞ Milo chuckled as he watched the freshman sprint away.

❝Well if it isn't The Vultures❞ Autumn rolled her eyes when she heard a familiar taunting voice. She quickly put on a scowl while turning to Gene.

❝Hello Gene, what brings you to this fine day?❞ She faked a smile on her, Gene chuckled and looked at Sasha and Zenix before biting his lower lip to Autumn.

❝Oh nothing... I just want to check up on my favorite girl.. And her group..❞ Gene sarcastically said giving her a wink, Autumn rolled her eyes at him while folding her arms.

❝Oh look! The princess is pissed now! Gene, learn some manners won't you?❞ Zenix chuckled at her. Autumn turned red in anger as she gritted her teeth.

❝Manners? I don't believe a second that you even know the meaning of that. Although.. I can teach you some real manners❞ Michael flirted at him as he bit his lip seductively leaving Zenix a blushing mess.

❝Why you-❞ Zenix launched his fist over to Michael but was quickly stopped by Milo holding his fist, he slowly crushed it as Zenix let out a cry of pain before Michael kicked him in the shin. Zenix stumbled backwards losing his balance, Sasha ran up to him. Gene also launched over to him only to be kicked on the shin also by Milo.

❝Now if you don't mind, We'll be heading to get our schedules. Bye Gene~❞ Autumn giggled and blew him a kiss before leaving them alone on the floor holding on their shins crying silently. They didn't even noticed the crowd forming around them when they were talking.

❝Phew! That was close!❞ Sky heaved out a relieved sigh.

❝Stupid Shadow Knights! If only I knew they were going to mess with us, I could've brought my swiss knife and stab that stupid Zenix!❞ Michael growled at his self for forgetting to bring it.

❝Relax Michael, It's just the first day of school, also it's a half day so we could hangout after school!❞ Autumn laughed at him, Sky's hazel eyes twinkled with excitement before she squeeled in joy while jumping around them like a bouncy ball.

❝We should totally check out that new movie by the theaters!❞ Michael said excitedly clapping. The group started to talk about their plans for later while getting their schedules. A student handed Autumn her schedule which she quickly scanned.

Autumn groaned when she got Biology class right after recess. She hates Biology so much even though she was still good at it.

❝I got free period first! How about you guys?❞ Sky jumped excitedly to them, Milo sighed while Michael growled.

❝Stupid Maths class! Looks like I'm going to skip first period again..❞ Milo rolled his eyes while folding his schedule and stuffing it inside his bag.

【 I don't know how these class periods work on the series so I used my own schedule from my school instead (╥﹏╥) please forgive me 】

❝Whatever, let's go check out the clubs.❞ Autumn scoffed while she took a picture of her schedule on her phone before crumpling it and threw it to a random direction. They head to the gymnasium and split up to their own clubs.

❝Hey Autumn!❞ She saw Katelyn waving over to her by the volleyball booth, Autumn smiled and ran over to the booth. The members of the club greeted her grinning

❝How've you been, Autumn?❞ Katelyn smiled at her as she propped her arm on top of the table and rested her head on her hand. Autumn smirked and sat down on the table crossing her legs.

❝Good, really. Though, Gene and his gang came up to us again. But don't worry, we took care of them❞ She said proudly and played with her hair. Soon, all of the freshmen came in, they all looked around for a club they want to join.

❝Catch, Autumn!❞ Katelyn said and threw her a volleyball. Autumn acted fast and quickly spiked the ball in the other direction. The ball flew to a white haired freshman knocking him out, the raven haired girl from before quickly kneeled down checking if her friend is okay. Autumn and Katelyn laughed and ran up to them.

❝Nice catch, dork! You caught the ball with you face!❞ Katelyn laughed along with Autumn.

❝H-Hey! That's not very nice of you..❞ The raven haired said making Autumn raise an eyebrow to her.

❝It's not like he's dead, stupid.❞ Autumn rolled her eyes at her.

❝Besides, you gotta admit that looked hilarious!❞ Katelyn laughed even more.

❝No it didn't! Ugh! Travis!❞ The girl scoffed at them before checking on her friend.

❝Katelyn, Autumn. Don't tease the freshman❞ Laurance said as he walked into the scene.

❝I can do whatever I want, Laurance.❞ Autumn scoffed at him, Laurance raised his hands up like he was surrendering and slowly backed away.

❝Hey, come on. I'm teachin them tough love. I didn't mean any harm in it.❞ Katelyn explained to him.

❝Tell that to the dude's face.❞ Laurance looked over to the white haired boy before sighing.

❝I'll go get the nurse.❞ He said before heading to the nurse's office.

❝Oh come on! It's just a scratch.❞ Katelyn called out to him.

❝Katelyn, Autumn, come on, leave them alone. Not everyone is as tough as you two.❞ Garroth suddenly came up to them.

❝Well if it isn't the Charming Prince.❞ Autumn rolled her eyes at him annoyed with his sudden appearance.

❝Huh, Good to see you too, Autumn. Also, I have a name you know. ❞ Garroth gave her a polite smile which she did not return.

❝Tell that to all the freshman girls gawking over you.❞ Autumn scoffed at him.

❝I swear, they don't even wanna know your name.❞ Katelyn added.

❝Jealous?❞ Garroth smiled at them.

❝Never.❞ Autumn scowled at him before leaving already done with his bs. She headed back to the booth and helped the members manage the new freshman students. After a few minutes, the school bell already rang meaning they need to go to their classes. Autumn grabbed her bag as she waved goodbye to the other volleyball members. She started to head to her first period class, Chemistry.

Students were already there inside mingling with each other, she grabbed her phone and her earphones plugging it in before choosing a song. While she was scrolling down on her instagram, a notification popped on her screen. It was a message from Gene. She scowled and tapped his messaged.

Gene:

She stared at his message confused, she plugged off her earphones and looked around the room, her eyes landed on the raven haired boy smirking at her. She rolled her eyes and flipped him off before switching her attention to her phone. Her phone dinged again but this time it is from her groupchat with her friends.

Autumn heaved out a sigh while puffing out her cheeks before placing her phone down on the table, she took one last glance on Gene who was still staring at her, he shot her a glare. Autumn glared at him back before turning away.

This is going to be a loooong day..
