      This chapter will be pretty lengthy, as it is going to include two things: the Rules & Guidelines that you must follow in order to participate in Elysian Zone, and then the Voting System, that will show you on how to vote for your pick(s)! Is this chapter a must read? Yes, yes it is.

ෆ｡◌  NUMBER ONE, ACTIVITY & UPDATES !

❝⠀┈─ ✧ Your participation and activity matters most to me in this af! So, please be active once the applyfic officially begins. You want more screentime? Be active. This means by not just voting, but also spamming good comments as it'll really motivate me, along with participating and supporting each other in group discussions and votings!

❝⠀┈─ ✧ There will be surprise active checks to ensure that you are actually reading and present in this book. Active checks will come in two types: One, which is randomly at the end of a chapter. And two, will be posted on my message board and you'll have to private message me the answers to your active check! Participating in these surprise active checks will reward you with bonus points. So yes, do follow me and i hope that we can be friends through this! Dw, i don't bite <3

❝⠀┈─ ✧ Other than following me, add this book to your library for easier access, and so that you wouldn't miss any important updates!

❝⠀┈─ ✧ When this starts, updates will come (hopefully) once a week (like your typical survival show LMAO) I update irregularly okay, if i don't update for like a few weeks or a month, or more.. please be patient and i'm sorry i'm a high school student with many tasks and deadlines. Blame school for this. Let's all tolerate each other here okay! With that being said, always update me. Kindly inform me if you have changed your username, moved accounts or go on hiatus! I may mistake you for not being active because i couldn't recognize the account.

❝⠀┈─ ✧ By commenting, i don't mean saying 'A, B, C' or spamming the numbers 1 to 100, no. I just want 'reactions' to certain scenes and such, like how you would when you're watching a survival show. Have fun, okay? 'Oh irene, you're so biased.'  I don't call this bias. I just don't want people who enjoy the story and participate on the mission chapters to be ranked low/eliminated early. It'll make me kinda sad too tbh..

the beginning. Hi, i'm Irene and i'm the author of Elysian Zone aka this book, so please be nice to me (i have a soft and fragile heart jk) and other applicants/trainees! Listen, i like school drama and gossip but in this case, try to avoid making any drama here, please, it'll make our lives happier and easier fr. Don't forget to show respect and be nice to everyone. Remember, this is just fictional and for fun, so i better not see anyone be salty or rude towards another just because they aren't satisfied with their results (as in not getting the rank/song/class that they want) Let's stay positive and keep all the negativity away please! Don't insult anyone, and all those kind of phobias aren't welcomed here. (xenophobia, islamophobia, homophobia, etc etc)

❝⠀┈─ ✧ HOWEVER, what's a good survival show without the drama, right? I'd say that i'm quite good at 'evil editing.' Just in case your trainee becomes a victim of 'Irene's Evil Editing,'.. please remember that i don't hold any grudges and no, i don't hate you if your trainee gets evil edited, this is to avoid mary sues and perfect trainees, and obviously, to make the show more fun and interesting. Hey, if i ever evil edit your trainee, it means more screentime for them? But do remember, the trainee portrayed here is not the same as their owner!

ෆ｡◌  NUMBER THREE, FORMS !

❝⠀┈─ ✧ The forms won't be too long or too short, however, make sure to submit clean and neat forms—ones that i'll be able to read clearly. Make sure to read and fill out everything in the form! Forms can be commented via pastebin, google docs and even just simply comment them is fine, preferably via docs though. You're form will only be accepted once you've followed all the rules, and tag more than 5 of your friends + give the book a shout out on your message board </3

❝⠀┈─ ✧ You may only use 4th gen idols as face claims, or whichever girl group that debuted in 2018-2023. The age range for the trainees in this show will be 1998-2007, and the age gap for the face claims are 2 years max! I will be allowing nationality & ethnicity mixes, but please be realistic and make sure they're half of what they actually are. (Don't make Chaewon american-japanese, making her american-korean makes more sense because, well, make your oc half of what the face claim actually is!)

ෆ｡◌  VOTES.
❝⠀┈─ ✧ The most important thing to a trainee in a survival show: votes. You get the most votes? Congratulations, you're the center of the debuting team, here are your center privileges—a solo song and a music video for it? Wow. Anyways, votes will determine your trainee's ranking in each ranking announcement. After every evaluation/every ranking announcement, your votes would be reset to zero. This means a trainee in the 1st place can move down and become the 6th place, or a trainee in the 20th place can become the new first place. It can be something totally unexpected! And no, don't worry, the votes here aren't manipulated because i'm not a snake, so all of the rankings are determined by you.

1 VOTE = 50.000 VOTES

❝⠀┈─ ✧ Now, how do you get these votes? Keep in mind that this applyfic's voting system (and others) will heavily run on google forms, just to keep things organized and feel more like as if you're a star creator voting for your picks. Make sure you know how to at least open answer a google form, and don't worry! You won't be needing to share any of your personal data because i won't be needing any of it. Just purely your wattpad username and other things in this app.

▎ WAYS TO GAIN VOTES:
━━ Google Form Results; the main way to vote in this show. Think of it like an mnet+ acc
━━ Benefits; "On-site" voting. If your team wins, you get a benefit. If you win first place out of all trainees, you get a benefit. Won first place in your team? That's right, you get a benefit
━━ Activity Points; From surprise active checks & quizzes in the chapters + pming me answers from the questions that are going to be posted in my message board

❝⠀┈─ ✧ There is a special way and only one trainee can earn this benefit of votes. That is by becoming the Center of Elysian Zone. What's that? Basically, the signal song's center. By becoming the signal song's center, you get 300.000 VOTES. That's a great deal, isn't it? (But yet again, don't feel too good if you get this benefit, because your votes will be reset either way after every ranking announcement)

ෆ｡◌  TYPES OF VOTINGS: GOOGLE FORMS
❝⠀┈─ ✧ There will be 6 'sections' in voting the trainees, and here i will be explaining each one of them, so later on i can just straight up give the voting link on the chapters needed.

▎ PRE-SHOW VOTING & FIRST EP. VOTING:
━━ Pre-Show Voting is where you'll vote for a certain number of trainees that caught your eye after the trainee batches have been revealed. The link for this "Pre-show Voting" will be placed on the last trainee batch (around batch 6, since i'm planning to divided the batches into 6; 3 K-group batches and 3 G-group batches)

━━ First Episode Voting is done after—as the name suggests—all parts of the first episode have been aired. You get the chance to vote again after seeing all of their performances for the 'Level/Class Sorting.'

▎ "AFTER EVALUATION" VOTINGS
━━ This type of voting is done after every evaluation. Just a spoiler, much like your typical survival show, there will be 3 main evaluations. After the trainees have performed the evaluations, you can vote for them to determine their ranks in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ranking Announcements.

ෆ｡◌  TYPES OF VOTINGS: COMMENTED
❝⠀┈─ ✧ Other than Google Forms votings, there is another way to gain votes, such as the "On-site Votings"

▎ WHAT'S AN ON-SITE VOTING?
━━ This us the voting after the trainees have performed in an evaluation (comment voting, at the end of a certain chapter). This type of voting is not the same as the ranking announcement votings. This type of vote only lasts 3 days after the chapter has been published. During evaluation stages, your trainee may receive the benefit points depending on how much points they get from the Realm Makers, but you may also get nothing from them.

━━ This is sort of an added explanation to the 'After Evaluations' votings. During an evaluation, you either compete against another team, or compete with one another within the team. If the chapter specified beforehand that the "winning trainee from the group/mission will get a certain number votes as a benefit" (in which, most cases will be), then after this evaluation, her votes will be her current votes + the benefit that she recieved.

❝⠀┈─ ✧ You can still vote if your trainee as been eliminated, as long as you're showing support to this book, then you're good to go! What if you're just a reader? You can also vote—as long as you're showing your support for the book. However i have to at least see your name pop up once here in the comments section, because if it's just a random username and seems odd, then i may or may not count the vote, let's be fair here! Also, i encourage you to vote for other trainees as well, and not just your trainee.

▎ VOTING CONCLUSION:
━━ Voting (gdocs) results + on-site (commented) results + activity/quizz points will determine your ranking in every evaluation! Remember, even if you pull a Sung Hanbin, Shin Ryujin or a Kim Sejeong (that is being consistent with the 1st/2nd rank), you will still be ranked either way!
