"Mikey, we're in quite a pickle," Draken admitted in defeat, followed by a defeated sigh leaving his lips. His usually blank eyes now show a smidge of misery and hopelessness for the situation they got themselves into.

As for the leader of the group, Manjiro Sano didn't look as bothered by the situation because he kept munching on his dorayaki. "Mhm, go on, go on..."

Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in Chifuyu's head. "I heard Yōso overseers are good at getting themselves out of trouble, so they might help us out."

"The Yōso overseers...?" Takemichi Hanagaki repeated the name, confusion lingering in his words. The group name was rather odd since "Yōso" meant "elemental" in Japanese, it didn't help that it was his first time hearing that group's name. It's quite an odd name if you asked him but, he won't even bother to judge at this point. "Is that another gang?"

"Yes, from what I've heard, they're a group of women who once served a well-known Yakuza from the Kanto region but broke off their connection with them and formed a group of their own."

By now, Mikey's ears perked up. It was almost unheard of to hear former yakuza members break off from their roots, especially knowing how notorious most Yakuzas are with their members leaving the group.

"Their group name "Yōso" has relations with their specialties, which led them to pick elements as their nicknames."

"As of now, their group consists of four founding members. Their leader goes by "Fire" as her element and her name is Inari Ise. She's known to be stoic, which is quite ironic considering the element she picked. Even if she doesn't show that much emotion, she's quite strong herself since she came from a strong clan, which led the other three to vote her as the leader."

Chifuyu took a short pause then continued, "Next up we have the vice leader, Dola Lael, her element is "Air", she's an African immigrant that learned how to survive the streets of Japan the hard way, at a young age as well. She's known as the nicest one among the founding members. She's also well known for her great aim and agility."

"As for the 3rd founding member, Yuri Higanbana, she's known as a high ranking assassin from her former organization. She also comes from a well-known clan just like Inari Ise. Also, she possesses the "Water" as her element. Despite possessing the calmest element, she's quite mischievous and sadistic."

"Okay. So besides being formidable opponents, how can you say they are of any use to our problem?" The second division captain countered. Fortunately, Chifuyu had an answer to his question.

"The first three founding members of the Yōso Overseers are quite talented in terms of hand-to-hand combat but the last member is far more skilled with her use of knowledge. She might even help us get out of this dispute we're in."

"And who would that be?" Mikey asked as he tore another packet of Dorayaki open. Although his facial expressions seemed disinterested, his voice and words said otherwise.

"Her name is Iris Shio. She's the one responsible for gathering intel and negotiating with other gangs along with Yakuzas. The element she possesses is "Earth". Despite being incapable of fighting in the field, she's quite well known for her manipulation tactics, along with the blackmail material she has on a lot of organizations."

Their meeting room was silent once Chifuyu finished his explanation. Based on his explanation alone you could tell that almost everyone in the room agreed with the idea of persuading Iris Shio but, no one spoke a word about it because they were still uncertain about the decision. To pursue the idea, they just needed Mikey's approval and orders to do so.

Once the long-haired blonde finished off his last dorayaki, his gaze settled on Chifuyu followed by the commands leaving his lips. "Since you know a lot about Yōso Overseers, I'm leaving the invitation to you. As for the division captains of Toman, we will be privately discussing the idea of the negotiation with the Yōso Overseers by ourselves. So leave the room if you aren't a division captain."

The pale well-built female was in her office, skimming through the files and the letters she had collected over the years. As she skimmed through, a letter with a wax seal of the infamous Toman group fell out from her reach.

At first, Iris thought her ruby eyes were playing tricks with her but once she reached out for the letter and saw the wax seal, she scrambled to open the letter. As she read the contents of the letter, the more her eyebrows rose from the shock she had received.

"Bullshit..." Iris muttered under her breath. As she read the letter over and over again, her mind couldn't help but second guess the genuinity of the letter. She even went as far as to assume it was a trap without any conclusive evidence to back up the idea.

"IRIS~! INARI TOLD ME TO CALL YOU OVER FOR DRINKS-" Yuri shouted as she slammed the door which caught the other girl off guard and due to Iris being inexperienced with the battlefield she was too slow to hide the letter from Yuri.

"OH! OH! OH! I saw that~" The light blue-haired girl purred as she rushed to the tall girl's side, who was desperately trying to hide the letter from her comrade but Iris was failing to hide the anxiousness on her face.

"I didn't know you had a boyfriend Iris!" The assassin teased the other girl who was twice her size. Not a single fiber of her being feared the idea that Iris can easily kill her due to their size differences.

"That's because I don't have one..." The negotiator grumbled again whilst her hand reached out for the nearest coffee, in hopes of hiding her anxious face.

"Keeping secrets from your friends is very unfair," Yuri said with a sad tone but Iris knew her friend too well, she was most likely wearing a shit-eating grin on her face.

"Plus, we already know you have a bad habit of biting your nails, so you don't have to hide your relationship from us." Yuri's outrageous claim caused Iris to almost choke on the coffee she drank.

"You little shit." The ruby-eyed girl grumbled as she jumped from her seat ready to tackle her friend but Yuri was quick to evade it. Thus leading Iris to face-plant on her floorboards.

"GUYS IRIS HAS A BOYFRIEND!" The light blue-haired girl chanted as she ran down the hall leaving the well-built girl on the floor rubbing her sore forehead.

"I DO NOT!" Iris shouted back despite knowing the fact they won't hear her words.

"GUYS IRIS HAS A BOYFRIEND!" Yuri beamed with glee as she appeared behind Inari who was busy mixing up drinks for the four of them. Inari was spooked by Yuri's appearance which led her to drop the shaker, luckily Dola caught the mixer before it could create a mess.

"Yuri you really need to stop scaring Inari like that or else she'll start charging us for her drinks." The female African with bright blue hair joked with a soft smile on her face then placed the mixer on the counter.

"Yuri, didn't we tell you a number of times to not annoy Iris?" Inari recalled with a look that said 'how many times do we have to remind you'.

"I know~! but you technically have given me permission to call her over." The light blue-haired girl mumbled.

"I did but I didn't say you could annoy her." Inari stated still wearing the 'how many times do we have to remind you' look.

"ANYWAYS!" Yuri interrupted while slamming her hands on the counter. "That was 10 years ago, so like, Iris has a boyfriend."

"What makes you say so?" Dola mused as she drank the drink she had been neglecting ever since Yuri's outburst began.

"She got a letter and she had that surprised look on her face, do you think her boyfriend sent her nudes over a letter?" Yuri asked them but no one replied back because both Inari and Dola were busy wheezing because of her question.

"Don't laugh!" The assassin demanded which no one follow through, regardless of being heard or not, she continued on with her reasoning. "I'm being genuine here, I can literally imagine Iris' old fashion ass telling her suitor to send nudes through the mail."

"I see your point but I don't think she's that old-fashioned." The leader of the group refuted Yuri's speculation then went on with the next drink she was prepping for Iris.

"What do you idiots mean by old fashion? We're literally the same age." A new voice countered, which led everyone's eyes to the person who had just entered the room. The lady who was often mistaken to be a man, Iris Shio.

"Don't tell me you guys actually believed what Yuri said." Iris rolled her eyes as the words of disbelief left her pale lips.

"Nah but she did say something funny," Dola replied back as she winked at Yuri as if telling her comrade that she got Yuri's back. To which, the light blue-haired female found herself sighing in relief for not being thrown under the bus.

"I won't even bother asking what that is about..." The pale female grumbled as she sat on a stool that was nearby Dola's side.

"So, do you really have a boyfriend?" Inari asked, failing to hide the curiosity she held in her face. Before Yuri could even run away, Iris was quick to shoot the iciest glare toward Yuri's direction, which ironically, froze Yuri at her spot.

"I wish." The well-built lady scoffed then swallowed her drink swiftly. "Also, do we have any meetings this Saturday?"

"None, why?" Inari asked. Although Dola and Yuri were silent at the moment, they did share the same question as Inari.

"I'm going to meet someone this Saturday."

"SO YOU DO HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" Yuri and Dola beamed eagerly, which put Iris very uneasy, not because it was strange but because she didn't know how to ease their excitement.

"Will you guys stop? My eardrums are going to pop if I keep hearing y'all talk about nonsense." The pale girl demanded to which they complied.

"And, no, I'm just meeting a client, they most likely need to stay in contact for the regular shit but, I'll need to do a quick background check on them though."

"So, who's the client?" Dola asked as she played with the edge of her almond-shaped nails.

"Can't say."

"You don't know them?" Yuri questioned, her head tilted in confusion because she knew, rather, everyone in the room knew that Iris has a large connection network, it would be surprising if she didn't know at least one of her clients.

"I do but, I just, I can't be certain if it is a legitimate invite or not," Iris admitted, her faded brows stitched up in worry followed by creases increasing and signifying the worry and skepticism on her face.

Ever since Iris voiced her concern regarding the invite she had received. Inari grew worried because she could tell that the person behind the invite was bothering Iris' train of thought. Once the pale woman left their shared building, Inari's worried state increased, especially since she didn't know if Iris would come back safely.

"Did Iris tell you guys where she's heading to?" The leader of the Yōso Overseers, Inari Ise asked her comrades to which they shook their heads "no" in response to her question.

"No, why?" The bright blue hair replied, her gray eyes illustrating the confusion she held regarding the situation that was unfolding before her.

"Wait!" Yuri smashed the table then dramatically placed an arm over her forehead. "Don't tell me that the beloved leader of the Yōso Overseers is becoming irresponsible!"

"Not the time, Yuri," Dola stated followed by the light blue-haired girl apologizing.

"Alright, everyone get in the car." The girl in a button-up swiftly grabbed a nearby gun and the keys to her car.

"Wait, are we going to follow Iris?" Dola asked, knowing fairly well that Iris would not like being followed especially with her line of work.

"Yes, so any objections?" Inari asked with a surprisingly cold look on her face that made Dola's reasonable interjection disappear from her throat.

"OPERATION STALK-IRIS-BEFORE-HER-BOYFRIEND-TAKES-HER-AWAY-FROM-US SHALL COMMENCE!" Yuri proudly screamed which caused some complaints from their neighbors about being too noisy.

"I know you three followed me all the way here, so what do ya want?" The girl's ruby eyes were directed to the direction where the three girls hid. All three of them flinched, not expecting her to accurately pinpoint their hiding spot.

Due to the franticness that Yuri felt, she accidentally pushed Dola as though she was the sacrificial lamb. The bright blue-haired girl was frozen in fear not because she was scared but because of the people whom Iris claims to be her clients, the Tokyo Manji Gang.

"We're really sorry Iris but we're worried since you were quite uncertain..." Inari's words were quick to dissipate once she saw the men responsible for freezing Dola at her spot.

Yuri, confused by her comrade's sudden silence, followed their gaze and became silent and gazed at the other party in awe.

"I- We're really worried that's why we followed you since you did claim that you weren't sure if the invite was legitimate or not." Inari reasoned whilst avoiding the infamous invincible Mikey's gaze, someone with who she has to settle a score with.

"Well, seeing as we have more guests, why don't we take the discussion inside?" A blonde with an unkempt undercut offered the Yōso Overseers. Based on his voice alone, it seemed like he was going to faint.

"Oh, you don't have to! We will be leaving anyway." Inari insisted, which made Dola at ease.

"Don't." Iris uttered as her ruby eyes side-eyed the leader of their group. Dola, Inari, and Yuri gave her a concerned look suddenly uncertain by her words.

"Just stay for now." The pale girl insisted, her eyes narrowing on the other party, cautiousness glazing over her ruby eyes.

"So, in a nutshell, you want me to help your gang get yourselves out in shit you got yourselves into?" Iris summarized then proceeded to nonchalantly place her feet on the table and her left arm behind the chair she was sitting on.

Draken nodded his head to confirm that Iris' summary was indeed correct.

"Not a fucking chance." The pale girl declared which earned her surprised looks from not only the Toman but from her own friends as well.

Said girl's ruby orbs rotated elsewhere followed by her clicking her tongue. "Don't give me that look, I'm being reasonable here."

"How so?" Dola asked. Although she wasn't the negotiator of the group, she did know that they were going to benefit from this, so what did Iris know that the others didn't?

"The mess they are in has something to do with our former organization back in Kanto, if we get involved then they will probably have all the more the reason to go after us." The pale woman explained as she tried her best to be vague with the Yōso Overseers' history.

"We have spent years getting their asses off of our tracks and you want us to get involved? Hell to the fucking no." Iris sneered and readied herself to leave the area whilst sneakily gripping the gun that was hidden in her blazer because she didn't trust the other party.

"No matter how many times you claim you say you are the same age as us, you sure act like an oldie." A certain assassin snarked, a mischievous smirk engraved into her face as she casually flips a dagger in the air.

"Yuri-" Dola tried to intervene but she was grabbed by Draken before the negotiator could push her out of the way.

"Here's the thing Higanbana, my job is to negotiate and apply critical thinking skills for the benefits of our gang, which is something you can't do."

"So sit up straight, stay silent, especially if you have nothing important to say." The pale woman criticized her comrade.

"Staying silent has always been a talent of mine but, I'm not so sure if it's something you can do, unless I beat you to death then maybe you'd actually learn how to be silent," Yuri said with a nonchalant smile which only aggravated the other female.

Suddenly a sound of metal falling caught their attention, which led everyone's gaze to the girl with short black hair, Inari Ise.

"Enough!" Inari's voice boomed, surely enough they went silent.

"Yuri, for once listen to Iris." Yuri merely clicked her tongue hearing the command.

"Iris, we get that you're doing what's best for our group but, please think of this opportunity thoroughly." Inari insisted.

"Fine, fine." Iris' ruby eyes found themselves staring down with a slight nod, signifying she understood the command.

The leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang was pleased with the sight of the group before him, along with nostalgia hitting him like a wave. The Yōso Overseers reminded him of the old days with his friends when they were starting out their gang; them struggling to grow in power and the minuscule arguments that only lead their bonds to become stronger. Their gang didn't skyrocket immediately but their hard work did pay off.

The Yōso Overseers was not a large group but they had made a name for themselves, just not acknowledged enough, it was almost similar to the old days of Toman, making a name for themselves yet barely acknowledged. This is why Mikey sees potential in them.

"We changed our mind," Mikey said, a smile on his face had formed, which confused the other girls because they knew there was nothing to smile about.

"Instead of Iris working with us, how about the Yōso Overseers will undergo our care and support. Your gang will still be independent but it's more or less like a mutual alliance." The blonde offered, which triggered a smile to form on Iris' face.

"Now this is an offer I can't turn down, we're in." She grinned, despite the recent dispute they were all quick to smile as though nothing had happened.

"Glad to have the Yōso Overseers on board." Mikey's smile only grew wider not because the power of Toman had increased but because he was able to help people who he saw had potential.
