Footsteps were discerned climbing up the stairs

No words were heard,

As the footsteps were the only voices.

A hand reached out for the door

As the other end was the rooftop

The soles of her shoes met the floor

One after another;

As the frame of the door passed behind her

The girl's hair flowing through the wind

She stopped on the railings of the rooftop,

She closed her eyes,

As her feet left the concrete,

She began to descend further into her thoughts...

RING!!

The school bell rang,

Signifying the school day's end.

Footsteps running towards the door

A bag hung from her shoulders, swaying from side to side.

Her eyes wandered around, left and right

An excited look was pasted over her face

In anticipation for he who would free her from her hell

But, the excitement didn't last long,

For my eyes tearing down the facade

Her crush was walking around with another girl.

As her lungs wish to cry

She bolts them out, tearing at the walls of her mind.

But her guilt kept it in

As forever, her screams will never leave her lips.

She gazed down from the roof,

the paths, grass, trees,

All ever so familiar, greeting her glazed view.

She gazed into the sky,

Not a cloud drifting, the warm summer air acting like a blanket,

Comforting her.

The sun's blazing warmth beating her back, almost as if encouraging her.

Encouraging her to jump.

Why must one think of what hurts them the most?

Females giggles and laughter were projected

Hands pushed her off her feet,

As the ground rushed up to meet her.

"What a nerd~"

Blades in their hands

Reaching out to grab her.

Hair began to part, frayed and cut,

Drifting to the ground

Snip, snip, snip

"Hope you like your new haircut, loser"

Fading footsteps left a ring in her ears,

Tears started falling as they weren't to be seen.

Sobs tore her throat apart,

Hands covered her face,

As she remained the same for hours.

The clouds began to blot out the sun,

The humid air drowning her like a blanket,

A smile began to rest on her face,

The breeze's cold taking her aback.

Her eyes closed as she imagined

What heaven could feel like.

"You're a disgrace!!"

An open palm flashed forward,

Catching the rim of her ears.

Red bruises shown on the little figure,

Emotionless face, stricken with tears.

Trying to stay strong and not let them win.

For a kingdom that has been broken from the outside can be rebuilt,

But one that has been broken from the inside

Shall remain razed in the dust forever.

"Die for all I care!!"

The woman's voice echoed through the small room

Wondering where her father is,

As he was sitting in the living room.

Surrounded in a circle of glass bottles,

All lying in shards.

Her father sat, one with the couch,

As if nothing mattered in the world he viewed through the tinted glass.

Her eyes opened,

Hair billowing behind her.

A big sigh escaped from her mouth

As though she was preparing for a final event

"Guess this is the end..."

The wind ripped at her eyes,

Remaining closed to blot out the sunlight.

Her small figure pushed against the rails of the building,

Her feet skimming the edges of the platform.

Her hands left the railing,

Making no attempt to latch onto them once more.

"Goodbye... World."

Arms shielded her broken body from the light of the sun,

Covering the scars of sin.

"Don't go... please..."

Eyes of shock on her face,

Her legs collapsing in on themselves,

Her E/C eyes a stark contrast to her S/T face.

H/C and Pale blonde hair tangling with each other

Almost like they were meant to be

Pale blond and Pitch E/C,

Two opposites of the spectrum,

Tangling with each other,

Softened by the crimson tones of blood.

His eyes met hers, No color or tone,

Empty though filled with grief,

Locking as though it was always meant to be.

If only that was how her world worked, giving her what she needed.

She was blessed enough to have a saviour,

One that would shed tears for her fear.

Tears dripped down her soft face

Not sad, nor angry,

Rather... happy...

"Thank you... for saving me..."

Words rise out of her mouth.

If her certain death has brought her attention,

To be on her and her alone,

She would die a hundred times over,

To meet her endless peace.
