You felt the sunshine of the sun land on your face, causing you to wake up.

You sat up from your laying position and let out a loud yawn.

You rubbed your eyes waiting for them to adjust to the brightness before looking around.

.... You were definitely not at your house.

You looked around and saw that everyone was up and now gone. Leaving you by yourself in the living room.

You turn your direction to the wall where Edd's (creepy) cat clock was at.

"Huh...10:00?...."

.

You quickly through the covers off of you and stood up.

"FUCK! I'M LATE FOR WORK!"

You yelled and distressed as you grab your shoes and coat.

Edd then coming out of the kitchen seeing you awake.

"Y/N/N! Calm down. What the problem?"

Edd asked in concern as Matt and Tom followed after him.

You were freaking out and felt like you were about to have a panic attack.

Your boss was always strict about you being late. The last person who we've been dared to show up a minute late got fired on the spot.

You couldn't get fired, not now. Your breathing became heavy as you tied your shoes.

Edd stopping you though.

"Y/N please calm down. You're worrying us."

"Calm down? CALM DOWN?! HOW EDD?! I'M ALREADY AN HOUR LATE! MY BOSS IS GOING TO FIRE ME!"

You yelled in distressed at the green hooded man.

Tom approached you from behind and placed a hand on your shoulder.

He started to massage it. You were going to yell at him... But you didn't.

Your whole body now felt relaxed and safe? To be honest you didn't know how you were feeling at this point.

He kept massaging your shoulders. You letting out a relaxed sigh.

He kept whispering into your ear calming you. To some people this would have been weird...

But to you it didn't. It made you feel at peace, and it made you feel way more relaxed than you were when you just woke up.

Edd looked surprised at Tom sudden actions and how it worked.

"Woah Tom! How did you do that? Usually it's impossible to calm her down."

No one knew this, But back in high school you had really bad anger issues. Not to mention, you would overthink a lot of things overwhelming you a lot.

You weren't the type to go and just talk to somebody and vent to them. Tom however could just see right through you.

((FLAAAASHBAAAAACK))

One day in particular you were in the library stressing out over your studies. You would also got into a recent argument with someone that pushed you off the edge.

Tom just so happened to be in the library at that time and noticed you and distress.

You were sitting on the chair at one of the libraries tables with at least 20 different books around you.

Tom, not saying a word approached you. He remembered seeing something on TV, and thought to give it a shot.

He plays both of his hands on your shoulders and started to rub them softly.

This cutting you off guard made you stop reading.

You didn't say anything... Which made him continue.

He started to add pressure as he kept rubbing your shoulders.

You put out a soft groan showing how tense you were.

Tom was now a blushing mess hearing the noises come out of you. He snapped out of his thoughts though not wanting to act like Tord.

This went on for at least 30 minutes until he stopped. You whined a bit not wanting it to end.

You let out a shaky sigh as you then said "Thank you.."

((END OF FLASHBACK.))

You were now sitting on the couch holding your head as you stared at the floor.

"...I'm so fired.." You whispered.

Matt came out of the kitchen with a plate. He wanted to make it up to you so he made you breakfast.

.... That probably wasn't edible.

The whole plate was on fire!!!

Just then Tord came out of his room wearing red pajama pants and...no shirt on.

Your face turned a whole 50 shades of red as Edd quickly covered your eyes.

"Tord! What the bloody hell! Put a shirt on! There's a lady present!"

Edd yelled in a protective manner.

Tord shrug "That's kind of the reason Edd."

He put on his shirt anyways and released his hands from your eyes.

You laid back on the couch and let out a sigh.

"Welp! I'm done for! I'm probably already fired. I'm going to end up losing my house, and I'm going to end up living on the streets."

Edd looked at you with pity. He said next to you and thought for a minute... Until coming up with a plan.

"Hey! I have an idea! How about we all look around town and see if there's anyone hiring. I'm sure there's some businesses out there looking for someone."

You look at Edd. Maybe it wasn't a bad plan.

"You guys would... Do that for me?"

Tord sat down next to you and wrapped his arm around you pulling you close to him.

"Of course Tsundere! We're friends after all...well- Friends with benefits~"

Tord flirted as he was Now really close to your face. Your cheeks heat up as you look the way.

God sometimes you hated that guy so much you would literally pay Tom to just kill him, and he would do it with zero hesitations.

Edd stood up as you look down at you with the happy smile.

"What do you say Y/N! Let's find you a new job! I promise we won't stop until we find one that's right for you. After all-"

He pulled you up and hugged you around your waist.

"Your our best friend."

Soon after Matt join the hug as he hug you from behind. Then Tom, and Tord.

You blushed at the setting contact. You then smiled. These guys really were a bunch of dorks weren't they?

Even though they are annoying as hell, and 100% belong in a freak show.

... You really did love these guys.

And you were going to protect them no matter what.
