But here's a little rundown: Israel's government decided to forcefully displace 12 Palestinian families from the sheikh jarrah neighborhood which is in occupied east Jerusalem. It's called occupied because the annexation of the land was never recognized by international law. So technically it's illegal. The Palestinians protested against this, cause obviously how would you react if someone asked you to get out of your house, without any arrangement of any other residence?

The protests were all peaceful, until the Israel forces intervened and that's when the violence started. They started firing rubber bullets, stun grenades inside Al-Aqsa mosque which is the third holiest site in Islam in Ramadan at peaceful worshippers who were just standing and praying.

After that the Hamas (which is sorta the de facto government of Gaza) offered an ultimatum to Israel to remove the police from the Al-Aqsa compound, and launched air strikes. Which I no manner condone or justify.

Israel's government responded with more vigor, bombing Gaza, attacking residential and journalism buildings claiming that they housed Hamas militants.

After much bombing, and many lives lost at both sides (10 Israeli residents and more than 200 Palestinians), the Hamas offered to call on a ceasefire but it was rejected by the Israel government.

Israel is an apartheid state with Palestinians not getting equal rights. This ethnic cleansing is not new in East Jerusalem, in fact it has been carried out since ages.

Israel military has bombed major journalism buildings, refugee camps, schools, red crescent, roads to hospitals.

And they won't stop. Israel's government has rejected the call for ceasefire.

BOMBING INNOCENT CIVILIANS IS NOT OKAY!! BOMBING REFUGEE CAMPS IS NOT OKAY!! BOMBING CHILDREN IS NOT OKAY!! BOMBING MEDICAL CENTERS IS NOT OKAY!!

Till now, 212 Palestinians have been killed including 61 children. And more will follow if they don't stop. They don't have the Iron Dome to protect them like the Israel.
