She turned on the elegant golden faucet and splattered frosty water onto her face. Turning her head up to face the crystal mirror, she let out a grunt of dissatisfaction to see her cheeks still burning scarlet.
I'm never playing Truth or Dare again, Yoko thought. Hibiki to be exact. Her attractive husband had been dared to unbutton his shirt a bit further for a week and it was affecting her all too much.
Yoko gulped. Maybe I should just tell him that I want to. Embarrassment and need fluttered within her. Putting a hand through her disheveled buttermilk hair, she took in a deep breath. Well, since it'll satisfy me a bit... And plus, we're engaged! Doing it is normal.
She nodded and smiled, shaking.
She abruptly turned off the faucet and then walked through the white framed door, quickly grabbing the doorknob and pulling it shut behind her.
As soon as she stepped out of the bathroom, she immediately heard noises coming from the master bedroom. Curious, she slowly walked towards that direction and then peeked her head through the narrow door frame only to see Hibiki-digging through one of the drawers?!
"What are you doing?" She laughed a bit with a blush clearly plastered on her face.
"Looking for something to wear to the casino." He replied, giving her a side glance smile.
"Casino?" Yoko looked confused.
"Yeah, the one right next to the hotel. I am taking you and we are going to have some fun tonight." He smirked, giving her his "sexy look" that made her go crazy.
"O-Oh, really?" She stuttered, almost positive that she looked like her scarlet warrior friend's hair right about now.
"Yeah. So, you should go change. Or you could just go nake-"
"Don't even think about it."
With that statement, she turned and then ran into the bathroom before steam could start forming in her ears.
As soon as she entered the bathroom, she pushed open the doors to their titanic walk-in closet. Of course, almost all of her things were lined up on the floor in perfect order to satisfy her obsessive compulsive disorder-art supplies, the book that Eve gave her for Christmas, "Mastering Many Magics", her pairs of shoes, her purses, and last but not least, her huge suitcase.
"What should I wear? Something fancy I am guessing..." She thought as she stepped closer to her tops and dresses hanging on the topmost rack.
Her slim fingertips skimmed over the many fabrics and patterns of the selection of clothes. After looking for a few more minutes, she found her many-shades-of-blue-and-white dress that she had forgot she even packed.
She carefully yanked it off the hanger and quickly threw it over her right shoulder. She then bent down and picked up her silver and blue sandals that she wore on fancy occasions. She stood up, turned around, and walked back to the large, reflective, shiny bathroom mirror. She glanced at her reflection. "I hope I hit the jackpot tonight. Miko would get pineapple cheesecake for years..."
She giggled to herself, being reminded of her little innocent exceed that literally begged to come on the honeymoon with her and her husband because he insisted that he "saw them do it all the time."
But, she refused, and instead insisted that he hang out with Ren, Eve, Happy, Carla, Pantherlily, Shiver, or even his crush, Maui.
After a deal of ten slices of pineapple for one day, he finally gave in and decided to stay back home instead of argue.
Yoko smiled to herself, then set her dress and shoes on the counter. She moved her arms under her shoulders and pulled off her blue V-neck. She folded it and then set it on the white porcelain countertop. After that, she moved her hands to her hips and then slid off her white short-shorts, taking, folding, and then setting them right next to her shirt.
She picked up her dress, unzipped the back, and then slid it over her head. Her slim fingers felt the fabric, which was unbelievably silky and soft, she thought-just like Hibiki's hair.
"GHA! Do not think about that!"
She mentally kicked herself, only to be interrupted by her husband's voice coming from the master bedroom.
"Yoko, are you done? I need to come in there to use the hair products!"
Yoko sighed.
"For what?"
"I need my hair to look perfect!"
"How about I bring them in there to you?"
"But I need the hair dryer!"
"You didn't even take a shower! Why do you even need the damn hair dryer?!"
No reply.
She let out a long sigh, then smoothed out her medium length dress to get rid of the wrinkles and creases.
She then bent down, sat on the shiny, white tile, and unlaced her sandals. She slipped them on and tied them securely around her ankles and feet.
Standing up, she looked at her long, light caramel brown-blonde honey hair in the mirror, which flowed freely down her chest and back.
"I guess I could brush this out...or maybe I could put it in a bun? I don't know...what is fancier?"
She pondered, wondering what hairstyle to choose.
After five minutes, she finally decided to brush it out, put it in a small bun with a few strands flowing freely in the back and front, and tie in the beautiful teal, turquoise, and white tropical flower that Honoka, her best friend, had given to her for her birthday a few years previous, in the very back to complete the entire look.
After fixing herself up in the mirror, she walked out of the bathroom and then over to her white-wood vanity, sitting down on the small chair to do her makeup. Piece by piece, she opened her makeup bag and picked out her contents-mascara, powder, eye shadow, lipstick, and finally, blush.
She applied each item naturally, which meant not too much, but enough to go for a more beautiful, natural look. She knew that she didn't need gallons of makeup to look pretty, so she stayed far away from the literally-looking-like-a-clown stage.
After she finished her makeup, she took one last look at herself in the mirror, then picked up the necklace that she always wore given to her from her mother dragon, Aoikasai, which was a small blue orb that was surrounded by three dragons-the colors each being white, a light teal, turquoise blue, and dark blue-each standing for a different element-ice, water, and her main power, blue fire.
She lifted it over her neck, stood up, and took one last look in the mirror to approve her appearance.
She admired her features-most of all, her azure orbs matched her dress, the flower in her hair, her sandals, and her necklace.
"This look will be perfect for tonight."
She smiled to herself, grabbed her purse off of the bed, and walked out the door.
She noticed one thing-Hibiki wasn't anywhere to be seen.
"Hibiki! I am ready to go! If you want to use the hair dryer, then go ahead!"
Still nothing-no reply-no response of any kind. It was silent-like talking to air or a solid brick wall.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps and then felt a familiar pair of warm, muscular arms wrap around her neck and then soft hair tickle her cheek and chin. She immediately jumped a few feet in the air and yelped.
She turned around to be face-to-face with her sexy husband, once again.
Hibiki looked so...hot...
He was wearing one of his black dress shirts with a light blue tie attached to the collar, black dress pants, and dark brown leather shoes. Perfect. Now she was embarrassed.
"You scared the living hell out of me!"
She laughed, playfully pushing him away, but he refused and instead moved his arms and then interlocked them around her waist. She felt his hot breath tickle her skin.
"I think that we will score big tonight."
He whispered huskily in her ear, making her smile to herself.
"I hope so. We can use more jewel, anyway." She assured, thinking about all of the extra delicious delicacies that they could buy. "Then let's go." He stated, freeing her from his warm embrace. She turned to face him and then gave her signature toothed-grin, her dragon-like fangs showing in the process.
~Time Skip of Getting Ready and then Heading to the Casino~
-At the Casino-
"How about...a royal flush?" Hibiki slapped his cards down on the table face-up, only to be revealed as aces, kings, queens, and jacks in a straight line-the highest possible ordeal there was without wild cards.
The man playing against him that lost in the poker game beat his fist on the table and turned towards Hibiki-Yoko was ready to punch him if he even laid a scratch on her husband-but instead, he punched his partner square in the jaw and then jumped on top of him, pinning him to the ground.
"Why in the hell did I let you bet the last of our 300,000 jewel you bastard?!"
The guy on the ground was speechless, only gasping for air and trying to speak.
Hibiki just smiled adorably. He grabbed the money, yanked it off of the table, and then ran over to Yoko, smiling victoriously.
"Look what I won."
He held up the thick stack of jewel.
She smiled. "Amazing."
He blushed a bit, which was unbelievably adorable in her mind.
Before she could say anything, he grabbed and laced her fingers with his and then leaned closer to her ear.
"Let's go back to the room. It's getting late."
