I finally made it back to the tavern and I went straight to the kitchen, to see Ban up and cooking. The warm smell of eggs, bacon(don't tell Hawk), pancakes, and waffles fill the room and I sigh with content.

'Man I wish I could cook like that'

I plaster a smile on my face and walk in.

"Hey Ban!" I exclaim while walking over to the sink.

"Oh hey Cap'n. What's up with you? You look a little frustrated~. He says while looking back. I open my mouth the protest, but he raises an eyebrow signaling he's not dropping  the topic. I close my mouth and take in a deep breath. I drop the smile and a look of worry and frustration takes it's place. I meet my eyes with his crimson and his mouth twitches into a smile, knowing he got me. I glare at him and frown.

"Okay Ban. Here's the deal: Elizabeth just woke up from her coma. Then well.....we kissed," a light blush creeps onto my face, and Ban's smile grows.

"So we go up onto the roof and we just lay there and fall asleep." I say and Ban looks at me with a look of confusion.

"Uh Cap'n that's great, why are you frustrated though."

I sigh and I look down. My hand reaches up to my chest.

"Because I have this horrible worry and it's whenever I'm near Elizabeth. I don't know what it is, but I need to figure it out and fast." I finish and look back up to him, with my hand still lingering on my chest.

"Cap'n---------" he starts to say.

"So, I'm gonna take her for a picnic and try to find out what's wrong. Hopefully it's not her, and it's just me being paranoid again. If so I have nothing to worry about, if I do come to find it's her I'm gonna figure why it is." I conclude and turn to leave, but Ban grabs my shoulder, and stops me.

"All I was going to say was 'good luck.'" He says. Ban's hand lingers on my shoulder blade.

"I know Ban," I turn around letting his hand fall and look at him with a smile. He smirks back and lifts his fist up. I raise mine and give him a bro fist.

"Thanks man." I say.

"Eh no prob Cap'n~." He says and walks back over to the steaming pan of scrambled eggs. I start to walk back to my room but Ban calls back. I turn around and raise an eyebrow in question.

"Why don't you start off with givin her some breakfast?" He asks and laughs. I give a playful glare and stroll over to him.

"What's so funny?"

"Eh? Oh nothing, just the fact that I have to cook for her and not you." He chuckles and turns back to the eggs. I huff at him and turn my back to him.

"Yea I know. But it's for the better, if you didn't she may die." I chuckle and turn back to him.

He already started the plate. Filling it with eggs, bacon, and waffles, because that's her favorite. He hands me the plate and I chuckle.

"Thanks man, I owe ya one."

"One? Ha! Maybe like 30!~"

I roll my eyes and smile.

"Whatever ya say." I leave the kitchen and go to my room.

I enter my room and see Elizabeth still sleeping on my/our bed.

She's still asleep? She's never asleep past 8:00.

I quietly walk over to her and sit gently on the bed.

This is unlike her.

I move my face closer and closer til our noses almost touch and examine her face.

Yeah.....time to figure this out.

Elizabeth starts to stir and her beautiful eyes open, to show a gorgeous sky blue. I sit back to give her room and smile. She reaches her hand up and rubs her eyes and yawns. She takes her hands away and sees I'm there. She smiles a pretty smile and I chuckle.

"Good morning, Meliodas."

"Morning Elizabeth."

For sure it's time to figure this out. She never.....never calls me just Meliodas.

"So what are we going today Meliodas?" She asks curiously.

"Oh just a whole bunch of fun."

Yup.
