The stars are twinkly beams of light. Shining down on us making sure we are safe. It may be cold, but i can't tell for my Meliodas is holding me keeping me close. My face buried in his chest listening to his slow breathing indicating that he has fallen asleep. i cuddle farther into his chest, reassuring myself that he is still here with me.

His hands protectively around my waist not wanting me to leave either. I sigh in content i could stay like this forever. Even though i have this bad feeling in my gut that something bad is going to happen. For Hendrickson was never defeated, because Meliodas was only focusing on me. i sigh again I'm glad that he saved me, but the safety of the kingdom is more important than someone like me.

I know I'm not strong nor a help in general. Why does he care for me, of all people? i am not strong. I'm not very good at anything i can't even serve tables without tripping or spilling something. So why does he care? Perhaps he's after my money and fortune. No, Meliodas wouldn't stoop that low. No the Meliodas i know is kind, handsome, sweet, fun, loving, content when he wants to be, and just Meliodas. Maybe........ i gasp maybe because i remind him of.........Liz. I have nothing against Liz it's just i can't help, but to feel he only lets me tag along is because i look like Liz.

Something wet and warm rolls down my cheek and onto my hand thats in my lap. I'm crying, figures another thing thats weak about me. More tears roll down my cheeks and my vision is blurred from the tears. i place my hands on my face muffling my tears that just won't stop.

Meliodas stirrs in my arms, and i wipe my face clean of tears. I try to stay still and to be as quiet as i can. He soon falls back into a deep sleep and squeezes my body closer to his while whispering my name. i smile at his childish behavior and place a small kiss on his jawline. i take his hand and intertwine our fingers just looking at the picture of this. This is all I've ever wanted to have someone like him and have an adventure at the same time. i look back up at the stars and smile.

"i hope it can stay like this forever" i whisper to the stars, and while i start to drift off in his arms again. But what i didn't see was Hendrickson standing right behind us smirking with an evil glint in his eyes.
