Well guys school is starting soon in like a week and here I am updating. It's taken me forever to update and I feel like I'm going to lose some readers because of that, so I'm sorry. I didn't even think about the update until today so here I am. No school has put me out of schedule which is way summer is bad for me sometimes.

Also as some of you could probably tell I have entered this book into the Sapphire Awards!! Yay!! So I hope I can get something out of this I'm not the great writer but I'm trying!! But I hope you enjoy this chapter!

~Elizabeth

   My eyes focus on what seems to be a sky. The warm colors of pink, oranges, and yellows fill my vision, while clouds dance across the sky, telling me it's evening. My hand comes to my head. The cold touch comes to my forehead and it feels somewhat of a shock. I exhale. The soft grass beneath me feels almost like a pillow. I want to drift off my eyes refuse. They're too enhanced by the sky. My hand comes back down beside me. I notice my eyes are both uncovered. Different.

  A sudden shock goes through me. It's not one of pain, it's like lightning strikes me but it doesn't hurt at all. Flashes of myself comes to mind but they all are different, but I know they're me. I see "myself" die many times and my eyes widen with shock. And at the last Elizabeth I see myself with both of my eyes uncovered with long angel like wings. She smiles at me and I gasp coming back to reality. I bring my hand up again and stare at it.

  "So..that's who I am. No that's what I am..." I say with an exasperated whisper. 

  A gust of wind blows, making my hair whip all around my face. I suddenly feel an unrecognizable presence. I ignore it my eyes trained on my hand.

"Why did this happen..to us?" I say to myself while I sit up in place.

"Why are you here?" I say finally acknowledging their presence. For I moment I sense them taken aback by my sudden question, but they compose themselves pretty quickly.

"You aren't going-"

"Of course I know who you are." I say with a genuine smile. I stand and show them my smile. Two sun-kissed orbs meet my sky blue ones and my smile widens.

"Hello Yukino. It's nice to meet you." I say and she looks at me with confusion and I can see the shock in her eyes. So I go to quickly explain.

"Oh. I can read your past and your future. So I know who and what you are." I laugh with embarrassment. Her eyes widen and my laugh turns into one of nervousness. She looks to the ground and I start to get really nervous.

  'Oh no she's going to think I'm a creep. Where's Meliodas? I can sense him not far I just need to look a bit.' I think. I open my mouth ready to ask if she's willing to go search for a bit.

  "So you know about...that night..umm when that-." She stumbles on her words. I watch her ramble and my mouth closes. I watch to her and stand in front of her.

  "Yukino." I say with a softness in my voice. She doesn't even seem fazed she just keeps rambling.

  "Yukino." I say a bit louder but still with the care knowing what she's been through. Her ramble doesn't even cease and I sigh. I grab her by the shoulders and she stops immediately.

  "Elizabeth-"

  "Yes I know about that." I cut her off. I pull her into a hug and she stiffens. I hold her tighter and she relaxes.

  "And what happened that night?" She said it almost like a statement. I forgot my eyebrows.

  "I know you-"

  " I..I just want to hear it." She says with a tremble.

  "You lived in a very small village. You were loved by everyone. They were you're family and you never doubted them for a second. Your parents were very kind and loving. They  were strict but they were still good parents." I stop and take a big breath.

  "Then one night you were bitten by a wolf but not any wolf. This wolf was once a human turned into a werewolf. But he wasn't your typical werewolf from stories. No real werewolves change from the temperature. Every year he would change into a wolf not having any control. Summer came and he would turn right back to a human. But when changing every year it would get further and further into the summer. The first time he shifted back it was in late May, and one year it was nearly September before he changed back. He figured out what would happen, and he didn't like it one bit. He would forever be a wolf, and forever alone if he didn't do something.

  So this is where you come in. He changed you, bit you. Your parents noticed the first time you shifted it was the day after you were bit in late December. You screamed in pain and the pain was almost unbearable. Bones breaking and shifting to fit a wolf's body. Auburn fur sprouting from your skin making a full-fledged silky coat.  Your parents afraid and confused stood in shock when you finally stood in front of them with a whimper. Minutes passed and they still had the same expressions not believing a thing that happened. You bow your head in pain and it all starts again. Fur going back in your skin and the bones breaking and such.

  When finally shift back and your legs give out. Your father runs to your side and catches your naked body midair. His eyes search your once pure emerald eyes as they slowly shift into a mellow yellow. He looks at you with despair and your mother comes to your side. They hug you with great love showing they wouldn't leave you, but that was the last time you had a moment with them." I stop feeling warm streaks of water hitting my face. I look up to Yukio and she's silently sobbing. Her body trembles and I'm surprised I didn't notice it. I pull her back in a hug.

   "P-please...continue." She says with a quivering voice. I look up at her with concern and nod.

   "The next morning at dawn your mom woke you up her eyes frantic.

   'You need to get up and pack a small bag now.' She says in a rush. You question with concern what's wrong and she goes to the corner of the room, and picks up a good size bag. She goes to your dresser and starts to pull out clothes and everything she can fit in the bag. You sit there your yellow orbs widening.

  'Someone found out about you and told the whole village now they all want you dead. They said your a cursed child and need to be destroyed immediately like your some kind of animal.' She says and you sigh.

  'Well mom I kind of-'

  'Don't you dare say that!' She snaps cutting you off. Your whole body stiffens with shock. She comes to your side, with the bag full of your clothes, and takes your cheeks in her hands.

  'Please don't ever say that.' She says and you slowly nod. She nods and stands up.

  'Get dressed you have to hurry.' She says. You look to her with sadness.

  'Your coming right?' You ask with hope. She stands there looking at you her smile hesitate but there.

  'Of course.' She says and she closes the door. You get dressed quickly and now hearing the voices of your father talking to the people outside. You use your now enhanced hearing and hear that their coming inside. You hear the footsteps and run out the back door where your met with mom and dad.

  'You-we need to go.' Your mom says frantically looking at your father. Your father nods.

  'You need to run on ahead okay, kiddo?' He says with a smile. Your hesitant and your dad stands with a smile still plastered on his face, but with eyes full of sorrow. You slowly nod and he gives you a tight hug while your mom gives you kisses all over your face. You reply with all the strength you can muster and hug back. You pull back and give your mom a peck on the cheek and a big smile but with eyes full of sadness. You know they aren't coming.

  'I love you both.' You whisper and you take off. Tears stream down your face as you hear two screams of agony coming from the house. You run faster and sob with heavy breaths. You don't pay attention to where your going you just keep running as the adrenaline pumps in your veins.

  Later on they never come back. The wolf does come around and he whimpers in understanding. You clutch at his fur and sob with heavy sorrow and dread. He whimpers again. He's truly sorry about what happened. All you have left is the wolf who turned you in the first place. For years you shift into a human as he stays as a wolf. But he soon dies of old age and you're left on your own at 14 again until...until Hendrickson found you." I finish. She stopped crying and I let go.

  I see her tear stained cheeks and I hold myself back from holding her again. She smiles with sadness.

  "So you do know everything, and you know what's to come." She says with a whisper and my heart clenches.

  'No child should go through that.' I think. My eyes land on hers while she waits for the answer.

  "Yes I know." I say slowly. She slowly smiles and I'm taken aback.

'She's not..sad?'

"No I've accepted it." She says and I'm not at all surprised. She has a perk which is a gift most but not all werewolves have. Hers is mind reading. I smiles and I can't help but smile back.

"Your very strong Yukino. And brave. I'm very proud of you." I say her smile widens.

"Now lets get down to business. We need to find Meliodas." She says. Her smile gone replaced by a stern serious expression. I chuckle.

"Yes. But let me say this he's not far so we can eat soon. I smile. She looks at me with embarrassment and my smile widens.

"You get hungry every hour right? So your probably starving right now." I giggle. Her stomach growls at the mention of food and my giggle deepens. She pouts.

"Yes so can we get a move on?" She says with the pout still on her face. I smile and nod.

"Yes let's go."
