So this poem was wasn't an actual event, it's just what I wrote for my English Assignment for Poetry
Very happy with it. It did very well and I'm pleased about this poem so without further ado...

Oh shinning bright light above,
Who dances with grace endlessly,
Thou I try to reach with a mere glove,
To keep me warm while I wait thou with instancy.

Your show is more then I can sight,
Through all and all filled with passion,
As the water sparkles with purpose and might,
And the dark filled with light perceives your fashion.

But thou wish for one to dance?
Because without the dark you can't shine,
And thou only wish for one chance,
To be with someone to call mine.

So oh shinning star above, before you start to blur,
The least you can do is grant me her.

I did have to incorporate 'old English' as it was part of the assignment 😅
