Mark groaned softly turning his head a little in your direction, you sat up in your chair happy that Mark was finally coming around, his eyes gradually opened as he tried to adjust to the bright room, he stared at you blankly making your brows knit together slightly.
"did the doctors send you in?" he asked, his voice tired and scratchy, you chuckled knowing he wouldn't have his bearing back yet, he moved his head scanning your face."wow" he mumbled, his eyes still trying to fully open.
"what?" you giggled at his confusion.
"your eye candy" he smiled "you're so pretty" his smile stretched as he exhaled a weak giggle."d-d-o i know you?" he frowned.
"yes, I'm your wife" you answered holding his hand, you watched as Marks eyes grew with shock, he gazed down at your fingers that were intertwined then back at you.
"oh my- really?, I hit the jackpot, h-how long?" he rambled on still in amazement, you smiled.
"quite a while"
"do we have kids?" you gave a slight nod, his eyes grew more so you could see his chocolate eyes properly" i'm a father?!" he sat up slowly, you laughed looking down at your stomach.
"well going to be yeah" his eyes seemed to become blurry almost like when you first told him you were pregnant, you guessed the drug the doctors gave him to take out his wisdom teeth had made him forget for a while, before you could speak a nurse walks, he looks at her and points at you.
"i'm gonna be a dad!" he exclaimed.
