TALONS.
The darkness burned like a fire over his eyes. It was blinding. All he heard was the terrible screeching.
Terror tore through him, swiftly he dodged the attacks thrown at him.
Blood trickled down his ears, and into the grass beneath, his paws becoming numb.
a loud crash sent him gasping, as he fell backwards in time to dodge the tree which had fallen Infront of him. He heard the screeching, as dust sprayed his face.
He struggled to get up as he pleaded in his feeble mind to escape this torture.
Roots binding one of his paws to the ground, the beating of wings was getting closer and louder.
He snarled, and pulled with all his might, breaking the root and running as fast as he could, with a slight limp. He struggled to climb over the tree, but he couldn't jump it. It was to massive.
Splitting a claw he hissed under his breathe in agony but looked up, determination flaring through him.
As he continued to rush forward, a red light began to pour over the horizon.
He was on a cliff.
A red moon seeped higher and higher until everything has grown red and black. Breathing heavily he hesitantly padded forward.
He reached the edge of the cliff, and collapsed, looking up feebly at the moon. He didn't know where he was. He didn't want to know. He just wanted to be home.
He heard echoing meows, eerily ringing over him. He looked up, a black cat, with glowing red eyes floated over him.
His breathe got heavier, as he looked into the eyes of this cat.
"We've been waiting for you rain."
With a last harsh breathe, he fought to keep his eyes open. watching as the cats eyes got wider and its mouth open in a long laughter wich it's voice deepened, he saw it's long fangs.
He reached a paw out to touch the strange cat, but the weight of his eyelids overtook him and he closed his eyes. Allowing the exhaustion to overwhelm him.
Without knowing if they would open again.
