Sunlight poured into the den, sending rays of warmth onto rains fur. He opened his eyes slowly, blinking sleep from his eyes. Slowly he stood up, and stretched, his tail quaking.
He let out a "mrrp" of satisfaction before leaving the den, and picking up a fresh mouse , the plumpest one. He trotted quickly over to the nursery where SorrowedSky lay, licking her large stomach wich looked as if it were to pop with kits at any moment.
Laying beside her, grooming her head, was LilyMeadow, one of the permanent queens.ย She had had multiple litters of kits, who have grown into fine warriors and apprentices.
As he looked at the two, joy spreading through his pelt, making his tail stand on end, LilyMeadow glanced up from her current activity. "Well go on then, don't just stare, bring your mate some prey! She's been starving!" She said in a tone that was sarcastically stern.
Rain nodded and shook his head, embarrassment flicking through him. "Right!" He padded forward, dropping the mouse right at SorrowedSky's paws.
"Thank you, rain." SorrowedSky purred, looking up at him and flicking her tail in appreciation before turning and crunching into the mouse. Immediately, Rain felt his stomach growling and only then he realized how hungry he had been.
He hadn't really eaten any prey since yesterday, and he was feeling dizzy. He had been so caught up and focused on those dreams, that he'd forgotten to eat. "I'd better go see FogWhisper after this, I feel as though these kits will be here any second!"
Rain purred in satisfaction, then let the two cats be. He turned away and padded his way into camp, where the deputy, MoonWing was arranging patrols. I should probably hunt first before getting prey of my own.. huh. He trotted over to MoonWing, and flicked his tail, waiting for MoonWing to call him over.

Rains paws drowsily stumbled towards camp again, his stomach growling restlessly. He had caught a mouse, and two shrews, and he could hardly resist bitting into them.
As he stumbled along, the path to camp became blurry, and he felt his paws growing weaker. He lifted a paw, struggling to take a single step, and with a deep breath, things grew dark.
His ears were ringing, and he opened his eyes, feeling numb. It was another dream, another vision, he stood up, claws unsheathed. "Where are you? I know your here. This isn't real. It's just a dream."
To no response, rain grumbled twisting around, ready for any attack. A freezing wind chilled him down to his spine and he lowered himself to the ground. "Where are you!?" He hissed louder, and turned to see the cat, padding in circles around him.
"Your willing to listen to that ruthless CAT who hardly understands the medicine he uses? Does this seem like a dream to you, Rain?" The cat circled around him, chuckling, it's long fangs glistening in the blood red moonlight.
He stood up, inching away and lashing his tail "don't speak of my medicine cat that way!" His claws unsheathed, tearing into the soil beneath.
"You're the one speaking of your 'medicine cat' like this!" Eyes narrowed, the cat continued padding around him.
Rain's breathe got heavier, and he felt rage surge through him. "I dont know who you are! You are not me! You aren't apart of me!" He stepped closer to the cat, who was still circling him.
"Oh but I am, and I always have been. You have never come to know who you are. But now you do. And you'll never. Ever. Forget." The cat spoke in a deeper tone, narrowing his eyes.
"You are NOT!" Rain yelled, before pushing off from his haunches, and leaping at the strange cat. He growled incredibly loud, reaching to pin him down like he had learned moons before. But to no use, as he dropped on the forest floor, with a loud crash, knocking the breathe out of him.
"You can't kill me. It is impossible!" The cat had appeared as a fog behind him, eyes shining brighter.
"I.." Rain's breathe quickened as he lifted himself clumsily with his paws. "I'll do it. If you don't leave me alone. Just leave me alone. Please."
"I won't leave you alone, I'm with you forever." The cat spoke firmly before fading away, along with the red lit moon.
As soon as Rain woke up he realized it was moonhigh, and he should his mangled fur. "For starclans sake!" He hissed, standing up with the prey. "These dreams keep keeping me from my dutie-" faint yowls from the direction of the clan interrupted him.
"SorrowedSky!!" He stood up, running as fast as he could towards the yowls of pain as he suspected the worst.
