Stepping carefully in the lush crowded forest, rain made sure he didn't step on any leaves. His weight light on his bare paws.

It had been multiple moons since that strange dream, and he had shaken it from his head. It was only recently he found out that his mate, SorrowedSky was having kits. Wich meant he had other responsibilities and couldn't worry so much.

He stayed in his crouched form, ready to pounce, as the mouse held a leaf within its strangely shaped paws. His ears pinned, he was about to jump.

He creeped forward steadily and just before he pounced, he saw a black and red blur, as soon as he pounced he felt pushed aside.

He landed on the rough sand ground on his side, and the mouse had teeth marks in it.

What in starclans name...? He stumbled as he sat up, the red eyed cat flashed through his mind momentarily, but shook his head. Chills flashed from the tip of his tail to his ears.

He hissed angrily, looking around "who just ambushed my hunting!?" He turned around, looking to see if he could spot any cat.

Yet no cat was there.

He grumbled, picking up the mouse either way. Suddenly he felt himself tumble over on his back and be pinned down. Gasping he looked up at the cat, the sun blazing in his eyes had begun to dim.

He blinked, it was so early! It couldn't start getting dark yet!? Then he noticed it was the cat from his dream, red eyes, silly black fur like a midnight sky... The cat began fading into this black mist, and he was surrounded in darkness.

He sat up and started looking around "leave...leave me alone!!"

The cat appeared and began walking forward again, eyes shining strangely. "Oh but we can't just leave you alone, you see?" The strange cats ears twitching he stopped, looking at him. "We are apart of you!"

Blinking, rain shook his head "what do you...mean I've never... I've never met you!" His ears began to pin down, his eyes wide.

The cats laugh began booming through the blackness, as if it were a cave. He shook his head surprised, and when he opened his eyes the sun hit his eyes almost painfully.

"....playing around like some- some- apprentice! I mean honestly rain! Can you be more irresponsible and careless!?"

He heard a voice fading in, and he blinked, slowly this time and looked around. His senses getting used to this again. "M-?" He muttered, confusion flaring up, but he was interrupted.

"When SorrowedSky has kits do you want them to have a father who is irresponsible!? No! So I suggest you listen when I speak, and act on a better accord."

As his senses became clearer, he turned to see BatFlame, one of the most experienced young warriors. Even if he was older, he had the most respect for her, even if she was annoying at times.

"I...uh....I didn't...- just... Uh..." Rain tried to murmur up and explanation but couldn't. "I caught a mouse though!-" he mentioned, prodding the mouse that was dropped by his paws near BatFlame.

BatFlame sighed and then nodded in approval "atleast you caught a piece of prey. Let's get back to camp before you start getting up to your strange shenanigans again."

He watched BatFlame whip around and trot forward, he focused on walking but his mind trailed off. Why do I keep having dreams...or...or..visions, like that!? I keep seeing that cat.

His tail flicked anxiously as he continued padding forward. "BatFlame?" He meowed, walking quicker to stay in pace with her.

"What is it?" BatFlame meowed, seeming as if she wasn't listening, but she had her ears perked. "I dont...well I wasn't.." he sighed thinking of words to say. "I wasn't just playing around."

BatFlame scoffed "oh? So where you flying with pigs?"

"No. I keep having these visions.. well it's only happened twice but it seems so real and there is this cat that is completely black with fur of the night sky and burning red eyes that could haunt starclan and h-"

BatFlame interrupted him, snarkily "what in starclans name are you meowing about? You don't have to lie that you were off in Dreamland to save your tail. You were just doing irresponsible little things and games. If you want to lie and talk about dreams, go to FogWhisper."

Rain perked up his ears "that's smart!" He exclaimed "I can consult him about it and he can help me with it!"

"That was a joke. Not a suggestion. He won't care, you know?" BatFlame groaned in irritation.

"Maybe he will! I'll speak with him immediately once we are back!" Rain meowed, claws unsheathing in anticipation.

"Good luck." BatFlame remarked in frustration and annoyance.

Maybe I'll FINALLY figure this out! Rain thought while they both padded towards camp in complete silence.

He rushed forward in excitement, hoping he would get an explanation. But he could only wait until he was at camp.
