Anton is an optimistic soul, always looking for that ray of sunshine in any situation. If Anton is getting upset/having a hard time finding the bright side, then know that you're practically doomed or something's definitely wrong. He loves his friends- they're like family to him- and he truly does love them. Whether it's helping them through a breakup or driving over to their house late at night to check in on them when they're having a rough time. Anton tends to radiate energy so most are surprised to find that he tends to keep to himself a lot. He's definitely a fun and energetic person, just more reserved. The simple things in life make him happy though. If you found him a pretty flower to dry out/press, he would joyfully take it as a gift, maybe even give you a hug if it was a flower he particularly loved. Although he is more reserved about himself, he's always down to talk/listen to friends for sure and always gets happy even upon seeing them briefly.

Background:

Anton grew up taking care of himself and his younger sibling, Jasmine, a lot of the time. It wasn't from (purposeful) neglect per-say, his parents always cared a lot about them, but they simply had to work a lot. Both were minimum wage workers and it led to a lot of stress on the whole family from how low of incomes they were living off of. Eventually, things kept getting harder and after one or two risky choices from both his dad and his mom, his parents split, Anton's mom getting custody of Jasmine and Anton's father getting custody over him. This all happened by the time he was 8. Ten years later, Anton has been working hard to save up for college and get himself going for college. That in itself has been quite stressful but if things couldn't be more difficult, he's been having to put up with the mental and growing physical abùse from his dad. Since attempting to come out as gay to his father, things have slowly spiraled downhill more and more, the only person knowing of said abuse being cherry, as well as the only one who knows of the reason as of yet. Anton's been hanging in there and is definitely excited for this much needed break from all the stressors of life.

- has a hard time saying no now and then

- bottles his feelings up 90% of the time yet still takes time to listen to and help people with their problems/concerns... like honey, get some therapy and take care of yourself

- anxious if he's up in front of bigger groups

- introverted in the way that he seems like he's an extrovert but homie is totally faking that aha
